if someday they found gold and silver against their interest and they have no control over it . gonna ban it for sure . Some here say gold and silver are great stores of value and also can be used to buy things. There is way way more money in precious metals than bitcoin so why aren't they banning it? BUT.......bitcoin they are worried. What's that tell you? |

I don't believe LedgerX allows shorting through their platform according to the trading document I read on their site. Edit: So I did a little reading of the LedgerX trader's rulebook. Some encouraging things I noticed:
1) Only market/limit order buying and selling
2) No shorting, no margin trading
3) Trading only available Mon. - Fri., 9AM -5PM (so essentially only during U.S. stock market hours)
4) Credit swaps fully collateralized
5) Have to meet certain hedge fund or individual investor requirements to become a member
6) Only available to U.S. based entities
7) Trading to commence in September October
Thanks torque Ok so basically I don't know anything about ledgerX but I'm guessing this is a good way for certain people to invest in bitcoin without buying coins so to speak. How big is this news and why isn't anyone excited yet then? |

Doesn't mean people won't use it, but it would be a total bloodbath. It would make the china FUD look like a paper cut. I know the feeling bitcorn. I felt sick last week too. I had to stop looking at the price.
Even though my investment was fairly low, the profits are now high.
Maybe I should take out a large percentage of my profits? If I do that and it goes up 400% I am in the same boat. More sickness.
I think I'll do my original plan and hodl for more years. Hopefully this will pay off. I need to forget short term and think long term really.
