261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cut you coat according to your cloth on: March 07, 2019, 03:19:18 PM
That is a very bad which I won't advise anyone to take.

I wouldn't even advise you to make use of money that you need urgently to make purchase of bitcoin or any crypto in the market, talk less of telling you to invest in project that you don't know how it would turnout this is pure greed and should be avoided by all means.

Invest only the amount you can avoid to risk and also make sure you do a good study about any project before thinking of making investment.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixCoin (PHX) - what do you think ? on: March 07, 2019, 07:52:51 AM
Since you called it a Chinese coin, then I would believe it has good potential in the future because we know that the Chinese people have a lot of business men who are ready to invest billions and billions of dollars into a project just to make it work, I saw same experience in neo when they carried out their ICO and began to trade on exchange, we saw the price of neo getting to a very high price even though I was able to make purchase of the coin at a cheap rate during the ICO stage which gave me a lot of profit. I believe this coin also have same potentials since it is a Chinese coin.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Protect yourself from Excitement and keep your Winnings Safe on: March 07, 2019, 07:02:09 AM
I think it depends on how much you win.

If someone wins the lottery which is in the multi-millions, they will most likely stop buying more lottery tickets and keep their winnings.

The issue with the people who can't stop gambling are the ones who either lose a lot or win a little.

If someone loses a lot, they will usally keep playing until they get break-even and then they will quit. However for many they never hit break-even and end up losing tons of more money just to recover a small initial loss. Basically losing $1000 because they only wanted to get their $100 back.

If someone wins a little, they will usually keep playing because they "want more" and "its not enough" and what usually happens they will lose what they've won and either quit then or they will get into the negative.

Its basically fear and greed combined and not a good combination.
I think it is even more greed that will make one who has won multi millions in gambling continues because he hopes to win more. It is even okay for those who have lost and wish to even recover and even those who have won little and hope to win more.

Like you have rightly mentioned Fear and greed combined and it is not a good. The truth is most people wouldn’t have lost as much as they possible on gambling as a result of the 2 factors you mentioned.
264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with small budget on: March 06, 2019, 07:35:39 PM
I don't see any good reason why anyone will want to trade with as low as $1, it doesn't make any sense because I don't think $1 worth of coin would give you any profit, you might just end up losing all your funds to fee on exchange.
I don't think there is any exchange that allows one to trade with as low as $1 with very low fees and even if there is any, I won't advise you to trade with the such amount of money unless you are ready to give it up as fees.
265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Public sale or pre ICO? can't decide on: March 06, 2019, 07:02:10 PM
I am looking to invest some money on ICO. Now, I know I'm not going to go in on private sale as that is for private investors. Debating over to get whitelisted for pre-ICO sale or just wait for the public sale...

I did read the whitepaper of course and did not find anything about lock-in period which is definitely a thing to consider or at least for me.

If any of you guys find some time to look into a project called FAIREUM, I would love to know your thoughts on this. I must admit I am more drawn to investing in a project that deals with gambling as gambling is HUGE everywhere and if I can bag a few bucks using a platform made for gambling I'm definitely going in. I tend to go for a project that shows a greater chance of succeeding.

I would really really appreciate some advice. I will be the one to decide at the end of the day but other peoples thought can be a guide.
It seems more like you are planning on investing in a new ICO sine you mentioned pre-sale or public sales.
To me, I think it is quite a wrong idea to invest in new ICO now considering what is happening with the general markets prices as not one knows the direction it will take yet.

I will rather you invest in already existing coins with viable project and trustworthy teams or better still, use the money to trade some altcoins daily and make profit daily rather than HODL some altcoins yet to be known when you are not so sure of its survival yet.
266  Economy / Gambling / Re: Clarification about "ice hockey betting informations" ;) on: March 06, 2019, 06:25:28 PM
Your marketing strategy is a powerful one and I admire it, not asking you for us for money at first till we trust you doesn’t mean you won’t eventually ask for money and then what assurance do I really have that when I join you and you use my money for games that I don’t have the assurance of you winning or not, so why should I join you based on the points you listed which are not convincing enough.
267  Economy / Gambling / Re: We are developing a new crypto game, where to announce? on: March 06, 2019, 05:55:51 PM
Hi all,

I'm looking for some beta testers for a new blockchain-game. I wish to announce it here on bitcointalk.
In order to make it more interesting for community we're going to pay $10-20 in Ether to anyone who joins the test and gives us feedback (it is very important to get third-party opinions on this stage). So I wanted to know - is it okay to place this announcement thread with all the terms in Investor-based games?
This is really going to be an interesting project I will love to participate in and also give my opinions, a lot of people have been so much interested in games with block chain, which is quite better you place all the necessary details  in games and round to serve both testers and intending investors. I will be looking out to see your full post so I can give my opinion and at the same time earn some little extra income for myself, no money is too small. LOL.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to invest BTC other than in casino bankrolls? on: March 06, 2019, 04:19:22 AM
You need technocrats in that field to join you in running the organization while the organization is still totally being controlled by  you, the way is actually to trade with it and that is why we have lots of professional trader that can trade with his money while they share the profit without him getting himself involved in the trading, the most important thing is to get a qualified one.
The OP was advised to learn trading directly because he is not satisfied with the little returns he can get from the trusted places he can invest his BTC and his on the lookout for other alternatives for higher returns. Now from your example, what if he is not willing to accept the share the technocrat has to offer ? He would be left with no option than to learn.

Anyone who is really so determined to succeed should be willing to pay the price for success, same as anyone who is so much in need to get higher return on investment, must  be willing to learn all that’s required.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favoritism vs Addiction on: March 05, 2019, 08:16:49 PM
I think the beginning stage of favouritism is the main lead to the addiction at the end so both are the same 11 attraction but if you had used the gambling sweet limitation it will continue to be a favourable field of you at all the time.
Yes, that is how things go on step by step. You might love to play and gamble for enjoyment in the start and with the passage of days, you would be a full addict to it. This happens when you do not know about the importance of your time.

Even for enjoyment, you are paying an equal amount of money that you could really make if you had spent your time making money. So with a rational though, one cannot become an addict given wisdom is there. Then you can play your favorite game with love.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how you feel at this point(currently) on: March 05, 2019, 06:34:03 PM
i am feel , this stable point keep for some time, after 2-5 years we can expect huge bull run. near future i am not expecting and i dont think bull run comes.
now no new investment coming.

my portfolio now below 50$ , i am anyway ok. i know this will be rise ...

how about your thought

https://www.bitcoin-socialclub.com/
You might be amazed at what you will see in the price of bitcoin and other crypto within the next few months, so don't expect that it might take another 2 - 5 years before we see another major bull run in the price of bitcoin because you would be very disappointed if you miss out making purchase of bitcoin at $3000 range, one this bull run begins, we would not be seeing the price of bitcoin at $3000 anymore, the least you might ever see again is $8000 so it's best you make purchase now with your spare money to avoid regrets.
271  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶 PLAY 📈 INVEST ☕ SOCIAL➡🔺PLINKO🎲DICE🎰SLOT🎡SPIN on: March 05, 2019, 04:59:17 PM
All casinos and even websites could have bugs or glitches, all could face with troubles and issues, its a common thing, developers are not gods and sometimes they have bugs in their code, its not end of the world and you can be sure even the biggest of all google/facebook and such have these type of issues everyday.

What makes a website so great and so loved is the way they handle the issue, and bitvest can go toe to toe with the best of them, they have a great support and they have great returns on their issues, not like it happens all the time but even on rare occasions it happens they manage to fix it and find a way to earn back the trust of the gambler, that is why I love this place. If you gonna love a place do not love it for their perfection but love them with how they fix the flaws.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How bad is other altcoin value on: March 05, 2019, 03:42:05 PM

they will slowly come to 0 value.
there are nearly 2000 coins in market today. nearly 1750 of them will get 0 value in 3 years. dont waste your money in altcoins.
They will never be in zero value, devs are still looking at the value, with the bear market, most devs did not pursue on aggressive marketing.
I believe they relax and this time but could probably start to be active when seeing people are again ready to invest.
Relaxing and waiting for Bitcoin to do their job for them ?
How will they even encourage more investors if the project they get themselves involved with does not have much activities, project without activities no matter how low the market price is will definitely fail. I don’t think majority of them even believe so much in the power of their projects because if they do, they will work had and not just wait for investors to suddenly jump from the sky and commit their money in a redundant project
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this year be favourable to you? on: March 04, 2019, 08:32:28 PM
This year has been really favourable for me. I have (more than) doubled up my deposits so far. I've locked away my initial deposits to make sure I'm not going to lose money  Cheesy.
That is a nice strategy. You are the rational man and this rationality helps make money. Keep on doing the same thing. We have seen people who make money in the start but later on loose more than the amount they make initially. So locking your initial earnings is a nice way to stop losing money. Those rich people do the same. This is part of the plan for anyone who intends to make money in gambling.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: March 04, 2019, 07:40:44 PM
Please be specific on strategy, 'cause there's a strategy that is not really working but some of us think it is. Strategy on how you will control the game is the best strategy ever, you can manage all of your money through that. You can also counter the game, if you have that strategy and specially luck. Luck is the best factor of gambling, no one can ever remove luck to it, everyone of us can have it.
I think we should make our strategy in such way which can prevent us from a big lost. Most of the gambler do not have any strategy they only play without having any strategy or planning. Such people never can become successful in the end.

I hope that if a person has good gambling strategy and planning he can not only make himself safe from lost but can even make some good profit in the end.
275  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: March 04, 2019, 06:01:48 PM
Was a there a drop in affiliate lottery ticket earnings? I see that my affiliates are bringing about the same btc as they used to for me, so lack of affiliate income is not an issue since it didn't change much but for some reason I am getting less lottery tickets from them. I am sure there is something I am not looking at correctly so I just wanted to ask it here instead of trying to figure it out myself Cheesy. It seems the easier way out.

What would be the reason for the affiliates to bring in same amount of bitcoin for you from their freerolls and such but not the same amount of lottery tickets earned from them, you think there is an easier explanation or did the lottery tickets earned from affiliates dropped in the recent weeks? Maybe I missed out on an announcement regarding that topic, sorry if I did.
276  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: March 04, 2019, 05:14:02 PM
Both investing and gambling have their own good parts mate, don't worry about it. If you invest you can make money and that is great can talk about how awesome it is to be invested in a website this trustworthy and one of the rarest places on earth where you can leave your money and never look back and know for sure that you will be profiting every day so yeah you are right that its awesome to invest.

However this doesn't mean gambling and losing money is bad neither, of course if you lost more money than you can afford that is always bad however if you gamble with money you can afford to lose and wouldn't mind losing than this is a game where you play against the casino with other players, you go shoulder to shoulder with your fellow gamblers and feel the wish of trillions of people (okay maybe not trillions) to see the game go above x2 and sometimes even more. That sense of togetherness of gamblers is non-existing in any other game and believe me this game worth the money you put in when you play.
277  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Current situation, how investors/traders are enriching these three. on: March 03, 2019, 06:27:54 PM
OP, it is easy to point the blame to someone, or something else. What you should be doing is find a way to be good at making more Bitcoins. For plebs like us, I suggest working hard, earn fiat, pay your bills, and buy Bitcoin with what's left. HODL.
That is why we all have to learn to be an optimist, while lots of people are seeing the negative part of it, some people are seeing opportunities in this challenge mentioned by the author and taking advantage of it too to enrich him or herself.

After all they are not scammers and they still deliver just that they are not being considerate in their charges and operation but despite all these, lots of traders like me are still making money trading and using their platform. Anything intellectual property, this is what it does.
278  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwC Poker RELAUNCH ♣️ BITCOIN POKER 3.0 ♣️ BIG BTC🏆 ♣ Win✅ Mac✅ Android✅ HTML5✅ on: March 03, 2019, 05:26:52 PM
however people who love poker loved poker first than bitcoin, hell I have met with couple of people who didn't even used bitcoins until they met with SwC and than bought some btc just so they can play here.
It should have a start somewhere.
Poker-lovers have to love pokers first, then if they have chances to know about crypto online gambling sites, they might have opportunities to familiarise themselves with online gambling, and online pokers via crypto gates.
Maybe bitcoin first, then altcoins.
it is certainly a long journey and takes long period to build up strong online crypto poker communities.
Yeah, that's what I was trying to say, that is the issue with poker. People could love bitcoin first and than start to enjoy gambling on dice, people all around the world already knows sportsbooks and if they want to even in countries where poker and blackjack and whatever type of gambling is banned sportsbooks are allowed so that is another doorway to gamble in crypto.

The issue here is that people love poker first, than figure out crypto, which means we need to find people who love poker and make them understand what bitcoin is and get them to start using it while also telling them to use it for playing poker. Its much much more difficult than finding people to gamble on a dice game.

Moreover, even with that difficulty SwC has built a base so strong a 9.7 earthquake can't crumble it from now on, it will continue to be the best poker game in bitcoin forever. Like primedice and dice but SwC with Poker.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Drive C is getting low on disk space on: March 03, 2019, 04:01:54 PM
200 GBS is what i created fro drive C and i though it is enough. It is getting eaten by blockchain files.

How can i move the blockchain of (Let's speak about verge or digibyte or raven) from C to another folder on any partition?
Every time i delete the folder it goes back again. can someone tell me how to do this without reinstalling windows
But rather than moving your files to another drive, since it was partition, I believe you should have enough space on other available files, why not just delete some partitions not being used and add the space to the 200gb you created for block chain in order to expand the space.

I think this is a lot easier considering the stress and the time required to moving a 200GB files. It will take a very long space if I am to explain how you can do this but check on Google or YouTube; you will see one r 2 tutorials that will point you to the right direction of expanding a partition.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The danger is the addiction, not the odds on: March 03, 2019, 03:23:50 PM
yes, how big is the bet, even if it loses but if it's done only once, I think it's still reasonable and still safe. the dangerous thing is, when playing with small but continuous bets. meaning there is a sense of wanting to play gambling continuously.
That is not a problem that either you play a big or small bet, the problem is that if you will continue gambling without having any limit and planning.

Such gambling strategy is more serious and risky, which one can lose everything he has in no time. There are people who always play small bet to enjoy gambling for a long long time, but they never exceed their limit, which prevent and keep them safe from big lost and even become too much addicted in gambling.
