Traffic's not really picking up.  And it's really hard to attract players in without some first time deposit bonus which worked like a charm back in the day with fiat poker sites.  But then again it's hard to prevent it from being gamed if SWC's registration requires no ID.

I guess to intice players, maybe have daily temporary, limited time no rake tables at all micro stakes - low takes..?

how do you get this impression? there's like 15 bbj tables running in the evenings, 500/1k mixed games have run and 5-10k tournaments run aswell.

I do agree though that they need to do something for the off-peak hours, turns out some of us are not US players.

While we're at mixed games: Any improvements wrt to NL2-7SD? 11 game badly needs this, it's such a fun variant.

SwC is happy with growth since Bitcoin Poker 3.0 launch. We peaked at about 270 connected players for the February BIG BTC and are ramping up promotions and marketing to help drive more and more players to SwC Poker. Word of mouth from existing players continues to be the best marketing we have - once a trusted poker friend tells you about the low rake, fast cashouts, and player friendly features, that's better marketing than any ad we could buy.

We still have so much to build and so much to optimize. The tournament schedule will have some additions and subtractions soon as we try to optimize that area of the site. Lightning network capable deposits and withdrawals are being built and remain a priority for us to bring into the game. We still have many small bugs and UI optimizations that need to be made, the affiliate reporting area is set to improve, and our Twitch channel and website integration is set to begin soon. For new promotions, the next one we will introduce is "Leaderboards 3.0" and they will award prizes for both cash and tournament players. More details on leaderboards at a later date.

The rest of 2019 will be a period of growth for SwC Poker, we think the product is professional quality and our team is ready to handle more traffic.

Yes. The chat is the problem, if you never open it, the lag is much better.

This issue is being tracked. SwC Poker is committed to fixing all issues affecting playing experience. Since Bitcoin poker 3.0 we have had very good quality client connectivity and stability, although we still have much more to fix and build.

I disagree the pace of growth is slow, it has been constantly improving, what you do not imagine is how much poker is different from other games, the poker loving players are not as common in crypto as dice loving because people who love dice first met with dice in bitcoin world anyway so they loved bitcoin first than loved dice, however people who love poker loved poker first than bitcoin, hell I have met with couple of people who didn't even used bitcoins until they met with SwC and than bought some btc just so they can play here.

Hence, the growth is great if you ask me, of course it will take time before we reach to thousands of players online everyday but right now its really impossible to not find a good seat anytime you want, which is the most important thing, like when you log in and want to play there is always a table full of people there all the time and I love it.

It should have a start somewhere.
Poker-lovers have to love pokers first, then if they have chances to know about crypto online gambling sites, they might have opportunities to familiarise themselves with online gambling, and online pokers via crypto gates.
Maybe bitcoin first, then altcoins.
it is certainly a long journey and takes long period to build up strong online crypto poker communities.

Who made the tournament schedule? It is very bad. You've got a bunch of dedicated players in the community desperate for some tournaments to play in the evenings, and you've got a random gap of 50k guarantees, one at 6pm EST and another at midnight EST, and in between then you've got of non-guarantee tournaments no one wants to play.

Let me give you a easy schedule that would drastically increase mtt traffic immediately and would cost you approximately the same ~100k in guarantees you offer nightly already (I previously sponsored/guaranteed 2 SWC tournaments and wrote Betcoin's tournament schedule when they first launched)

6pm EST: 2000 chip Deepstack 20k GTD (unlimited re-entries/2 hours late reg)
630pm: 1500 chip Bounty 15k GTD (unlimited re-entries/2 hours late reg)
7pm: 1000 Nightly Big PLO8 10k GTD (unlimited re-entries/2 hours late reg)
730pm: 500 chip Nightly Freezeout 8k GTD (2 hours late reg)
8pm: Micro Rebuy Frenzy 32 chip 4k GTD (starting chips 1500 and allow double rebuys. unlimited reentries/1.5 hours late reg/addon)
830pm: PLO 600 chip 5k GTD (1.5 hours late reg/unlimited reentries)
9pm: Big Turbo 850 chip 10k GTD (1.5 hours late reg/unlimited reentries)
930pm: Horse 400 chip 2k GTD (1 hour late reg/unlimited reentries)
10pm: Turbo rebuy 200 chip 10k GTD (1 hour late reg/unlimited reentries/addon)
1030pm: Turbo PLO8 100 chip 1k GTD (1 hour late reg/unlimited reentries)
11pm: Late night Hyper Turbo Deepstack 670+30 10k GTD (1 hour late reg/unlimited reentries
1130pm: Last chance Hyper Turbo: 500 chip 5k GTD (1 hour late reg/unlimited reentries)

Seeing the lobby like this yesterday:

Told us that Bitcoin Poker was back at SwC. We have lots to build and improve, but the growth since Bitcoin Poker 3.0 launch has been exceptional. We are very happy with how the site is growing and continue to market in different capacities. Word of mouth is the best advertising. If you enjoy our site, please tell your friends.

Really?  Every evening...?  What time zone are you at?

Imo, I think SWC should drop mixed games (and the rest) for now and focus on everything on NLHE, PLO and maybe OFC (just to have something different).  The site's spreading itself too thin imho.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say, that is the issue with poker. People could love bitcoin first and than start to enjoy gambling on dice, people all around the world already knows sportsbooks and if they want to even in countries where poker and blackjack and whatever type of gambling is banned sportsbooks are allowed so that is another doorway to gamble in crypto.

The issue here is that people love poker first, than figure out crypto, which means we need to find people who love poker and make them understand what bitcoin is and get them to start using it while also telling them to use it for playing poker. Its much much more difficult than finding people to gamble on a dice game.

Moreover, even with that difficulty SwC has built a base so strong a 9.7 earthquake can't crumble it from now on, it will continue to be the best poker game in bitcoin forever. Like primedice and dice but SwC with Poker.

I think you vastly overestimate how popular dice games are to the general population.

Looking at that image would really give you that encouragement that all of your works have been doing good. When there's someone that's looking for a casino to play poker, swc poker is also being suggested.

Which means that swcpoker.eu is starting to gain it's popularity when it comes to its niche, bitcoin poker. This is just the beginning of it and you've got tons of work to do in the upcoming months when vast number of poker players comes in.

Have you considered bad beat jackpot tables for plo as well? Afaik there is no online poker sites with that feature. That would bring a small competitive advantage. The loosing hand would obviously need to be of a higher rank.  Grin

Almost every time I visit the site (and I visit it 3-5 times per day in these recent times) I can see over 100 players online, and it is close to 200 players now and then. Although it can be called a solid performance already, I think this site deserves more attention from poker admirers. Anyway, don't miss The BIG BTC! tournament with 1 million chips(worth 1 BTC) in the prize pool that will take place in the end of this month.

Meanwhile with the help of free rolls and cash games I have made a good progress from zero to the result below:

Yes, it's possible. No deposit has been made.

Have you considered bad beat jackpot tables for plo as well? Afaik there is no online poker sites with that feature. That would bring a small competitive advantage. The loosing hand would obviously need to be of a higher rank.  Grin

This idea has been discussed internally, it was to have multiple bad beat jackpots. One for omaha and one that is much harder to hit and grows for a long time, but for now we have to concentrate on lightning network integration, fixing of remaining bugs, adjustment of tournament schedule, and building of new features and promotions.
