.............then there's DPoS2 and minions.
Ah, yes. I remember those old conversations... Good times. Good times indeed!!! Hahaha!!! It was in the midst of one of DP's bash sessions, I decided I was going to start volunteering my time to Promote for Kano. For every action, there is a reaction. Although, I don't think it was the reaction ole DP was expecting!!! Ha!!!

Makes any real information hard to find and devalues this entire thread a fair bit.
You can also use the SEARCH bar at the top right corner of YOUR page. Go to the first post, type in the SPECIFIC thing you'd like to see, and hit SEARCH. Bamm!!! It's found.

Notice the whiners have gone away? They're happy with getting paid! Be nice if we can get this long network block as well!
Why are people with common sense and calculating abilitys whiners? You know the people that believe without any doubt what someone tells them is good? they are highly dangerous puppets...Lets "whine" (i'd rather woul use the term "critical and asking"). ưa might learn something.... I hate it when people call others that ask interested questions "whiners". Tells me something about the name caller himself... Not gonna set the stage for a debate, but, there are 2 different types of miners as of late: 1. The just recently fell down the rabbit hole miner. Knows very little about mining, wallets, and scares easily at the sight of a Bitcoin price fluctuation. This miner happens to hop from pool to pool, when THEY feel like they are not getting the most out of their online calculator daily payout. This miner can sometimes be boastful, and ask redundant questions, but disagree with any advice they haven't heard about from Google. 2. The more experienced weathered miners. These guys are very knowledgeable, but can get edgy when prodded by redundancy. They don't scare easily at Bitcoin price fluctuations. They are in the game, and have been, for the long haul. These miners have LIVED the good and bad, the ups and downs, and generally stick to what they know works. Their experience is from learning from the members who laid the foundation of the Bitcoin Mining Community, and some of them, are the ones who laid it. With that, everyone can be willing to be helpful. However, not everyone who asks a question, will like the answer they receive. No matter how many times, or different ways they ask. Just because experienced people stick to their answers, doesn't mean they are puppets, it means, there is no other way to answer questions. Newer miners, sometimes, disagree with that in a redundant nature, thus creating friction with the weathered miners, and the debate begins. Perhaps, when times get tuff, WE should reflect on the times that are good, and focus toward a positive outcome for EVERYONE. There is a wonderfully knowledgeable community here, who are ALL in the same position--Mining Bitcoin!!! Goodluck EVERYONE!!!

I received my order of 2 T9's today. This company is REAL!!! They gave me the tracking information, and were very helpful the whole process. The T9's arrived, in their original packaging, as I was told they would. Inspection of the T9's showed, they were indeed well kept. Everything is as it should be. Big thanx to Keegan!!! I actually think this year there will be a big shift in the game.

I agree. There is something brewing out there. There have been some interesting events already, but a game changer is bound to happen. Moderator's note: This post was edited by frodocooper to trim the quote from philipma1957.

The feeling of hard times can come quickly, when not finding a block "on time". People who expect, or are used to, daily "on line calculator" payouts, have a hard time getting comfortable here. That IS NOT a pool problem, by any means. It's psychological. Everyone would like to see the future in pools, and BITCOIN in general, but we can't. Not knowing when we'll be rewarded can be overwhelming for some. It is what it is.
By judging numbers only after a couple of weeks, we cannot possibly gain enough accurate information, to achieve realistic answers. I fully understand some people have a hard time managing payouts, to make deadlines with utilities and their cost. Also not a Pool problem. There are many a veteran miner here, who have managed many th/s - ph/s worth of gear, and stay moving forward.
This pool is gaining momentum, and soon enough, it will have enough hashrate to overcome some of this "problem" some people have. The pool has grown, and as a result, shares are smaller--ATM. The Hashrate is at an akward point, where it's got momentum, but needs that little bit more to get daily rewards. It's closer than we think. Those of us mining for the long game, will see those results. More frequent rewards=More earnings and better Profitability.

Hard times, without finding a block it's even harder to stay at Kano for me - even when you get much more % share of a block compared to slush for example, if there's no block withing 80 hrs now it might be better to switch back to another pool?
You've got to do what you think is best. You've also got to take the good with the bad, this is the nature of Bitcoin mining. Before you bounce though, look back through the thread and see how many people came back here, regretting how they left during a hard spot. Goodluck!!!

Anyone have any $220 Bitmain coupons they don't plan on using or selling?
This guy, rdalley(link to profile below), had some last week he was going to send me, but he never did. You could try sending him a pm. I already picked up a couple more miners, as I couldn't wait, so I will not need the coupons now. Goodluck!!! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2003638Also, C'mon Block!!!

Good afternoon! I changed the power source, nothing has changed. The cleanliness of 633.636.628 after 17 minutes of operation is automatically rebooted and changes to 612.636.599. After restarting, the fans operate in emergency mode (at high speed), which results in a drop in temperature on the boards by 2 degrees. I wrote in support that I want to send you SMO and SM2 boards for repair.
Hopefully, Pangolinminer, can get you back hashing quickly. Let us know here, what your experience is with their support. Goodluck!!!

Love it! Keep up the great work. 176% block on the wall... Thanx!!! Appreciate the support!!! Take one down....pass it around 179% block on the wall

Note I say this because I was looking to support ck.'s pool and don't mind mining with his pool first and slush second. If you really want pool choice the T1 is limited .
My partner buysolar should be landing in China in 2 hours time to meet up with Avalon/Canaan We will be using some of their gear very soon.
The Avalon 841 could prove to be a little better then any of the three in question.
Phil, you do some really great work for this community!!! Thanks for supporting -ck's Pool like you said you would, by aiming your Dragonmint there. You are literally the first person I've seen, during this release, show support for -ck's Pool. This past week was the first time I saw Hangolin's PR mention -ck. Just a small head nod towards his programming skills, but no mention what-so-ever, about his pool's ability to run the Dragonmint. Goodluck to yours and buysolar's venture with Canaan. The 841's I have are very stable, and actually work as Advertised.

I've been updating some of my graphics for promoting today. Oddly enough, I recently received quite a bit of traffic on Instagram. So we're getting the word out pretty good still. I'll keep at it!!! Thought I'd share this. Before anyone replies, I add the link to the post, directly to this thread and/or kano.is.
