Watch the fat man disappear.  Shocked

Ya can't make a fat fuck like that disappear.

Hiding him behind Jupiter wouldn't even work...

maybe vice versa? hiding Jupiter behind him?

Anyway, he can be a puppet/scapegoat for all we care. These cases of bitcoin frauds always center around one person, while there could be a whole ring of shady people involved.

262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Forum now hosting the Bitcoin Wiki on: March 23, 2014, 03:14:20 PM
I got the shits with the wiki years ago.

I'd go to look up something and it would throw a university mathematics textbook at me.

Google did a better job when I wanted to look up something useful...
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gavin's PGP key has an impostor twin? on: March 23, 2014, 03:09:12 PM
There was an experiment done involving kittens, the details of which I am not at liberty to disclose, but I did confirm it, Gavin has an imposing impostor.

No kittens were hurt during the experiment (as far as I know).

264  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Can coins be destroyed in a more 'polite' way? on: March 21, 2014, 02:47:38 PM
I know that none of the 50 coins generated in The Genesis Block can be spent, but what about other coins sent to that address? can they ever be spent?

267  Other / Meta / Re: The cancer that is Ponzi on: March 19, 2014, 03:46:56 PM
Ponzis are only allowed here because theymos makes a fortunes off these guys.

Greed has paved the way for more human suffering. It's totally disgusting and gives bitcoin a bad name.

Apparently putting the fine print "Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction. Advertise here." allows theymos to sleep at night.  He's more than happy to neglect his responsibility so he can make more BTCBTC.

I'm bitterly disappointed in you theymos. Shame on you.

Shame shame shame.

I'm Derryn Hinch.

269  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: What the hell? on: March 14, 2014, 08:00:01 AM
it doesn't use the bitcoins in your bitcoinqt wallet.

send them to your new armory wallet (after you close amory, close bitcoinqt then reopen it)

What if you encode a timestamp, then use that as another point of entropy?

271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: transaction disappeared from block chain?? on: March 14, 2014, 06:41:15 AM
You may have to do a rescan on bitcoinqt
272  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining Profitability on: March 11, 2014, 02:27:11 PM
What generally happens when mining becomes unproffitable is the miners themselves refuse to sell bitcoins at a loss.

This drives up the price of bitcoin.

Then more miners come in when profitability increases.

So on and so forth.

There is generally a 3 month delay in the shifting of the bitcoin price,

It happened when the reward halved. It happened when difficulty increased when ASICs arrived on there scene.

Believe me guys, it'll happen again.  SO INVEST ALL YOUR SPARE CASH IN BITCOINS! NOW!!  Grin
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a white/asian thing? on: March 09, 2014, 04:36:27 PM
We must apply the U.S. Affirmative Action law to this GREAT INJUSTICE!

Quick, someone go to Detroit and hand out Casascius coins!

I'll go distribute flyers on how to use SilkRoad in South Central.

He worked it out with a pencil.

Just received! It took 1 month, but they are very nice!

Hey buddy!  Just read the thread Smiley  Ya should have PM'd me, I would have gotten right back to you.

Out of curiosity, which country are you?  I wonder if it got stuck in your customs for a little bit or something?

You'd be my first late package that a customer has received  Shocked
277  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Backing Up Armoury Wallet on: March 07, 2014, 09:16:52 AM
The question still remains.  How do I back it up?

Also (again) I'd love a backup option in the armoury menu. For those times I create a new wallet.

I also import quite a few private keys (Vanity addresses & such) which aren't part of the deterministic algorithm of the wallet seed.

Can we have that option put into the next release?  Pretty please  Grin
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Look on the bright side... on: March 07, 2014, 09:09:26 AM
There is the possibility of him being kidnapped by a trained paramilitary group that will torture him for his billion dollar private keys.

Thats what I'd do if I were a rich douche looking to get richer.  Undecided

Good thing you're just a poor douche.

[Insert Mum joke here]
