261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this year be favourable to you? on: February 09, 2019, 06:16:20 PM
Unfortunately, I never counted how much money I used in gambling and how much total loss / win I got. However, I could pass 2018 without leaving a bad trace in my finances caused by gambling. That is a good achievement for me. At the very least, gambling doesn't destroy me in 2018 and hopefully it will always be so for the following years.
No doubt that you are a lucky person in this regard but I think that it is too much important that you must have a good financial planning for your gambling activities. Without having good planning and strategies I think it can create serious financial issues for you. In fact history is full of such stories where people have made big lost in gambling only because of their greediness and lack of planning.

This new year will not bring any changes on its own but we alone should try to bring changes by putting efforts for controlling our emotions.
But, if you change your approaches then you may see this year will be bringing you diffident results. Yes, changes should start from ourselves like we must learn when to risk and where to skip gambling and more importantly, we must know how much to spend for gambling.

I feel you have a valid point as the house edge always works in favour of the casino, also you’re right as there’s no strategy that works for the long term it’s only your luck that helps you survive. Once in a while however a gambler comes along, and wins big so that does hurts the casino if he cashes out. The casinos in Las Vegas need those shows to keep people locked in, only then will they be making real money, and I feel it’s a fair strategy from casinos point of view.
That's how business works, they need to attract people and make them feel that they can beat the house in some ways or if they are truly lucky, this advertising and promotions are part of their strategy to gather gamblers to play inside and feel the comfort of their casino while enjoying with the
scenery, though it's mostly correct that each casino house have their own ways to take advantage they won't let that be felt by the gamblers, they will
bring sets of ideas and some cases where some lucky gamblers wins really big ones from the house.

Changing the mindsets of gamblers making them enjoy while chasing the big wins, these is where greediness needs to be controlled, gamblers need
to be more responsible to avoid getting too much attached.
But that "once in a while" is not a strategy. Like there is no strategy that can prepare you for a big win, its just pure luck. You can go to a casino and play on roulette and bet small by small all night gambling on red no matter which way you want and if you play long enough you will lose, doesn't matter the system.

Or you can just sit down, put all your money in and go all in on red, which means you can either walk out with double the money you have or with nothing. In the first slow part you still walk out with nothing because on long term casinos win thanks to house edge, at least on the second system you have a chance of walking out with double. Hence, the "strategy" or "system" never works in your favor, if you want to win money then you have to go all in once and leave. That is not entertaining or fun so you stay there knowingly lose your money because of the entertainment value given.a
263  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold exist 1000+ years. while bitcoins exist 10 years. on: February 08, 2019, 04:22:28 PM
Technology makes everything a lot quicker in our life. Just 30 years ago telephones were a tough thing and not even every single house had them, look at us today with our mobile phones that are "more advance than the technology used in nasa to send spaceship to moon" (which is idiotic considering who uses it is more important).

So, gold could be compared to bitcoin some manner (even though dollar and euro is more comparable to bitcoin than gold is since bitcoin suppose to be money and not a commodity) but the technology is adoptable in our lives much quicker in recent years than the old days where everything was taking so long for people to actually get their hands on. When first cars were made it was the local places that got it first, now when a new innovation happens all world gets it. Bitcoin has that super advantage over gold.
264  Economy / Economics / Re: QuadrigaCX Owes Customers $190 Million, Court Filing Shows on: February 08, 2019, 03:52:53 PM
Seriously its both incredibly sad and also upsetting. First of all when you are running a company at that size then the cold storage should be under just one persons name, there is no possibility of anything going right in that scenario and I understand the need to keep them all safe however when you over do the security portion of something like this that much in the end when one person dies everything goes to waste as we can see.

However, at the same time we are talking about a person who lost their husband and instead of allowed to mourn her husbands death we see them getting as much as death threats because husband died without a chance to even say goodbye. What should do widow do ? Unless this is some plan to get all money to themselves and he is actually not dead (very slim chance) she is not responsible for the actions of her husband.

One interesting observation from just concluded Ind vs NZ match:
Four Indian batsmen scored 20, 30, 40 and 50 runs individually and I am not sure this might have happened previously in any other formats too.

Now this series is leveled and 3rd match will be the decider. I am going to bet on India as India have not lost their last 10 T20 series. This may be a surprises for may gambler here as I am simply ignoring the chances for hosts to clinch the series to lift the cup but I am taking this option after seeing the batting and bowling depth of India.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the house always win???? on: February 08, 2019, 06:26:03 AM
Neither house can always win nor gambler can always win. Actually there is nothing which can always win. Sometimes gambler willwin and sometimes house will win that's why it is gambling. Always winning of one party cant be gambling.
I agree with you but 99% of gamblers from this community is sharing like they do face only losses whereas they are supposed to be having both profits and losses mixed through out their gambling life. I mean at least 50% of gamblers should be into profits if not they do not be neither into profits nor into losses, like they do make profits and losses at same levels and same frequency.

But in reality we are having something different scenarios and this is the reason we are having this discussion of "houses always win". It might be meaning like this is not the actual gambling that we are all assuming so far.
267  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS : poster book discussion on: February 07, 2019, 03:06:35 PM
Let's look at their answers. One is basically answered by saying "yes we do not give good odds and if you are a whale you can get boosts that might close the gap but otherwise odds are crap", the second one basically says "we have no idea how self exclusion works but we have someone who does so we are not going to answer this question at all?" like that makes any sense at all, that is not even an answer, just stating they have an employee about that matter but no answer to it at all.

Third one was answered "we would like to not talk about it in detail because it might make us look bad", if they had any information to clear their name, they would give it, they do not have any info that would make them look the rightful part so they are not even attempting to show it since they don't have any right to do what they did. I can continue for the rest but you get it, they are slimy and even D- is a lot to them.
Slimy is a good way to describe them.
Lol slimy is perfect. They are not really "scamming" anyone openly but they are also not making any friends here neither. They are both legit and not at the same time which is an achievement to be fair. Have they taken out the bet from someone for no reason? No, they took it out because he wanted to be self excluded, however did they banned him? No his account is not banned forever yet his bet is gone. Dudes figured out a way to hide behind some technical stuff to manage to get out of a bet and at the same time ruin their reputation.

I wonder what the amount for the bet and the win was, if it is nothing major they are literally throwing away their reputation for just one bet and I would rather let the gambler have it instead of ruining my reputation for something like this.
268  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun - PROVABLY FAIR Blackjack Accepts Dash/Bitcoin/Litecoin on: February 07, 2019, 07:41:25 AM
Thank you all for kind words!
I can develop anything. So interactive chat with emojis and gifts? I can do that.

Is here anyone who could help to find players for this game?

Interactive is the one thing that sets apart gambling sites that have players keep coming back, that is my experience anyway. so yeah, nothing like chat to start things of. You will also find that the same players generally play at all the casinos, so if you see the same names, then you know you've done a good job with the regulars.

No need to spend too much time promoting, I think forum ads are very quick and reliable for immediate players, but signature campaigns long term do well. Both show your willingness to invest time and money.

Yeah, a good signature campaign should definitely be in the pipeline

Regarding chats (aka trollboxes) specifically, they are a required feature as most people like sharing their wins with others and look for support when they lose. But please don't fetishize it, i.e. don't make a fetish of it (as some casinos as well as exchanges often do) as trollboxes can be annoying as fuck, especially if you can't switch them off for good (in the very least, hide them)
You can't just have a signature campaign out of the door. I mean it wouldn't bring in THAT many people right away, when you are just starting out you are not making that much money neither so it wouldn't really be productive.

When you have thousands of players gambling on your website most of the time you can just use your profits to get bigger, so lets assume you make 1 btc a day and then you go out there and spend that 1 btc a day on marketing and then get more players and now you are making 1.2 btc a day, that is the profit from the marketing so you get bigger.

However if you are not making a lot of profit then spending 1 btc while earning 0.05 is not a good idea, first this website should get much more bigger and get the owner a lot of money before he can decide to do signature campaign. Just give out promotions and bonuses for now is fine.
269  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | ETH & LTC Accepted! 👽 on: February 06, 2019, 07:10:55 PM
I m face cheat on this site my 6200 doge was stolen there site customer representative tell me about 2fa but my question is how to anyone now my username and password on that particular sites I have all screenshot of deposit and withdrawal I can't make withdraw request but my fund was gone don't play there before time he was stand good site but now scammer don't play there your fund also gone also block me in chat without send any .
Do you have any appropriate proof for this? it's easy to say that you have screenshots and you deposited to stake but it's just your words. Before accusing you should have a strong basis for this or else you're just trolling around and wants to say that you've lost your money. The good thing for you to do is to contact their support and complain your problem there, they'll give you the help that you need just explain things and provide valid proof.

For $11 worth of doge, I think they will not scam you.

This site is reputable, people are gambling for thousand of dollars with no issue, so probably this is just a little problem that will be solve soon.
Since he does not make any withdrawal and his account was gone, perhaps it's just an internal control, which he might break some rules, but all these are just my opinion, only the representative can answer you since they can check your account.
That's what I'm saying, it's not that much too handle for Stake and for any amount even let's say $1, they won't bother to waste any of their time to scam someone. They are building their reputation and has been built properly so any amount that has been said "scam" from the management, address it to the support and provide all of those necessary proofs. It's just a simple problem for them to handle and it won't take long if it really happened.

Lol for 6200 doge Cheesy I mean I understand there are new people to both crypto and also crypto gambling so they may not know who stake is but seriously 6200 doge is nothing to stake, literally nothing. They probably give out 10x of that amount on faucet giveaways everyday, considering the faucet and how much it is abused by people and how many people play here I can say that is a lot less than the faucet they give for FREE.

However, you gotta also think why would anyone lie about 11 dollars being stolen from them, I understand that could be a decent amount for someone living in a very poor third world country, however it makes no sense for them to lie about it. So, I honestly think stake didn't scam anyone, that is obvious but that dude probably got either hacked or something else and he thinks he is telling the truth.

FortuneJack, why I did not receive a bonus for the first deposit?

Hey, did you speak with supports team?

Hello FortuneJack, thank you for the answer. My problem was solved in full Grin

Oh my God you are so brave to take the deposit bonus with such amount, wish you luck with the bonus because it wont be easy to complete the wagering requirement. Dont forget to bet not higher than the allowed amount as well because your winning might be forfeited. Hope the bonus give you big win and you can fulfil the requirement before you bust it all. Smiley
Jesus Christ wagering x40 of 0.5 means wagering 20 bitcoins. That is an insane number, I hope he wins as well, it is really a lot. Even if you play on high win games for a long time with small amount there is a chance of losing once in a while and it would take a lot of time to reach there and if you gamble for a long time the longer you play the higher chance of losing your money.

However, if he manages to hit that x40 that is a lot of free money to take out when the requirement is met, bonuses are like that, its hard to reach there and it requires a lot of wagering however if you hit the requirement and not lose too much than you have yourself a free money. He can consider the free money he is getting like its his and gamble accordingly so even if he loses a bit than when he gets the free bonus he will still be in profit.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the *easiest* profitable betting strategy? on: February 05, 2019, 03:31:03 PM
I am very sad about seeing people who still think there is a profitable strategy. Best profitable strategy you can have is to deposit a certain amount of bitcoin to a casino that you wouldn't mind losing (I prefer $50, it all depends according to peoples budget but I always said 5 packs of cigarettes is a good logic to wherever you live) and then pouring some favorite drink you have (I prefer wine but beer works too) and opening a music list (spotify works best) and while doing automated bets also talking on the chat with people and get to know them and befriend them and talk with them for weeks and chatting there.

This will result with you having a great and entertaining night which will not be profitable in money but you will profit from having a good night in your life, it helps to ease your stress and enjoy life which gives you bigger profits than just money.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Distribution of tokens in installments on: February 05, 2019, 02:35:10 PM
Unless tokens want to get funded in installments it makes no sense. There are two ways people get tokens, either they give the ICO money and get the token or they do some bounty type thing to get the name heard by everyone. In both cases people deserve the money right away.

When a bounty hunter goes out and talks about you to everyone in everywhere they know they get your name heard and they deserved to be paid, with that in mind if they get paid in installments then they should work in installments as well. When people pay you money (fund you) then they should get the money right away, if they are going to get paid in installments then they should just pay you in installments as well. It makes no sense to do something now but get paid later with smaller amounts. It is definitely a senseless idea.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can New Projects compete with the established ones? on: February 05, 2019, 02:04:00 PM
Can newer projects make big enough waves to usurp their much older larger brethren?
Depends on the project and the size really. If you can build a product that is wanted by everyone, then it will sell.

If you build a coin that is really good and idea is loved by everyone, execution is great, team behind it is great, they have funds to market it vastly and everywhere, then they will get the funding they deserve from the ICO and afterwards with their good idea and good execution and good team and good marketing, well you understand where I am going. Established also depends on what the rank you are talking about.

There are coins that is 5+ years old which is beneath a thousand coins, dead and burred however there are coins that are top ranked like btc, eth, xrp as well. So, if you mean if a new coin can get into top 20, yes it can, if you mean a new coin can get into top 10? it could, a bit harder, but if you mean a coin going into top 3 ? That's really hard to achieve.

275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Unforgettable Gambling Stories... on: January 17, 2019, 05:33:32 PM
My unforgettable story was when I managed to turn 17 dollars into 8 bitcoins. It was one of the greatest feelings ever, bitcoin wasn't this high at the time, it was 900 dollars like 2 years ago or so.

At the time I had 17 dollars left in some casino and I thought what the hell not like 17 dollars will change anything in my life so I started gambling with it, turned it into couple hundred dollars with double or nothing type deals at first and than I started doing small amounts but big odds on dice and managed to turn it into 1 bitcoin thanks to 2 great hits at great odds.

After that it was just pure luck of couple different games, played dice, played poker, played plinko and so forth and managed to get lucky and in the end it was 8 bitcoins. Withdrew 5 of it to my account and cashed it out immediately (dunno why but all my profits from gambling I cash out to fiat right away for some reason) and kept 3 bitcoin in the casino, eventually lost that 3 bitcoins but at least I had a 5 bitcoin profit. Best day of my life ever (don't tell my wife that).

277  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto debit card for FIAT payments - would you use one? on: December 15, 2018, 10:48:10 AM
Hello,
I'm here to explore the demand for crypto debit card.

The basics behind it is actually very simple:
1. You own some crypto funds on your account on an exchange (crypto/FIAT markets) that has partnered with a debit card provider. You'd have to identify yourself (pass KYC).
2. You get the card. It is a basic mastercard  debit card for FIAT payments. No magic.
3. When you use it, it automatically exchanges your crypto to FIAT based on the amount you're spending. You would even be able prioritize the order in which your crypto is to be exchanged the first, the second, etc.

So, would you use one?
If yes, would such service motivate you enough to open an account on the exchange that is not (yet) one of the TOP ones?

Disclaimer: I'm a business owner in a position to offer such service. Knowing your opinion would help me a lot. So, thanks in advance!
I have a debit card that I can load with crypto anytime I want and use and it is not a really good one I am afraid. I am using coinsbanks card and they required too many things from me to be able to use it and even though I gave away too much information that I wasn't really thrilled about they are still charging a lot of money for me to spend it as well.

If I want to withdraw cash, I am paying them a lot of money and they have the information on who withdrew the amount, if I want to spend money they charge me a lot and have information who bought what with it. Basically a way to charge me for giving them all the info they can dream of. It is not a great system and I would prefer not to do it this way. Maybe less charges and less information would have been better.
278  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to predict whales manipulation on: December 13, 2018, 05:01:08 PM
You can't predict a manipulation, that is not how manipulation works. If whales are doing predictable stuff than you can position yourself accordingly and if you position yourself accordingly than they can't manipulate which means you positioned yourself for something that didn't happen. Hence, manipulations needs to manipulate in order to succeed and if they are successful that means you failed to predict it.

The idea behind manipulation and what it is disallows others to predict manipulations, at least not on a big number, couple people may guess correctly but it can't be a big number of people or it will fail and won't be a manipulation to begin with. Hence there is no way of knowing when a manipulation will happen, it is theoretically impossible to do something like that.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: December 13, 2018, 02:53:25 PM
Wade is really one of the best to play the game, I know he will never rank in the top 10 in any discussion ever but a player is not great because of his rankings but what he brought to the game.

Dude won one ring with Shaq when Shaq was not at his best and basically lead that team to the ring, he won with Lebron too and we all know what Lebron does to his teammates, he either makes them or breaks them, Kevin Love was one of the best Power Fowards in the league and than became a role player, Kyrie is one of the best point guards in the league and went head to head against Curry and he ran away from Cavs, Bosh became another role player.

Not Wade, wade stood his ground and earned the respect of his peers and managed to toe to toe Lebron on leadership and that created a great friendship. Doing what Wade did in this league is rare and he will be missed when he retires.
280  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you ever thought of bringing back the Middleman - but decentralized? on: December 13, 2018, 12:59:07 PM
I don't know. I mean placong a middle man through all this just makes decentralization pointless. If the problen is conflict resolution then I'd guess we can have a sort of judiciary system , which is supposedly the SEC. This entity shouldn't have a hand over crypto currency at all. It just makes them unbiased and all that.
I believe SEC is not a kind of judiciary system but it is kind of regulatory authority for investors and investment-instruments and its providers. Definitely SEC will not handle basic transactions related disputes. I agree with you that a middleman entity should not have any influence into crypto space. Yes, a middleman authority must have limited power like controlling to only the transaction related things not into the entire system.

We always must need some judiciary system and dispute governing system so that the transaction related disputes will find its solution. When no one will be controlling both the parties(buyer and seller) then the chances of scams will be highly and also no one will be ready to initiate the transaction progress at first.
