I may have to get some more coin ready on C-Cex to be ready. i have a little over a node and will more than likely get another one if it carries on. Why wait we can already see the support this coin has even this early on. {happy investor here} I waited because I don't like keeping funds on any exchange to long but now I'm thinking about it and remember C-Cex looks like a decent trusting exchange after the recent ICO refunds and I hear being paid back and a large amount to guys who lost out early on in its creation. I already have 1.4btc on there so what's an extra 1.4btc for another masternode. i see that and the way they handleld it was exactly how a top exchange should. i see they don't have much volume at the moment but will have with customer care like they showed. if i was you i would not worry about a little ove a btc on there mate. my funds on there im not fussed that is safe as i hope this investment is. tech must have been shown to them for them to host ico so looking good to me |

That sure is, lets take the guys examle above. Just encrypt your wallet and all will be good, imo that does nothing the wallet.dat can and will still be stolen from you/your machine and then what? The hacker then will more than likely brute force it and get the funds. Good passwords look like this: B2p!@rW+HK5{N<QF!JD;$5"'*_-!s~b?!PK#DW$U It can't be brute-forced in the lifetime of the universe using all the power of a million suns. #1 99% of the universe would not use a passphrase nowhere near that. #2 {and more improtantly} You still don't have the wallet.dat. |

anothers feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but above and beyond the large staking master nodes ensure a stable and "always on" situation for the network.
This is especially essential in this sort of project, where apparently users will be able to choose to have their outgoing transactions vetted by the network as an extra precaution against hacks. If you are doing that sort of thing, you want a very robust network.
hey that is what i take from the op and the small amount i have learned about masternodes. You have explained it well what the workings of them are. To add sending through the masternodes act as mixer if im not wrong? as well as bringing an all around stability to the network like you say. |

It's good to make money of course but this project if delivers as expected will be huge like that bone on your head like nothing that has been seen, facial recognition and finger scanning, In-cloud exchange CryptBase, each to their own though.... i am looking forward to what they have planned and how they plan on implementing facial recog and fingerprint scanning. There's going to be a lot of sell pressure from people selling off their Masternode proceeds. (Many will be satisfied with their 1 MN and won't want to accumulate more.) So, maybe we'll be able to catch some good deals. Also, when the whales move on, there may be some scraps for us seagulls to gobble up. By that time, we will know for sure if this coin is worth a damn.  i'm not sure your right there about the masternode sell offs causing a lot of sell pressure we are not talking about enough staking coins produced to cause that kind of presure. Quick bit of math, week one there will be around 150,000 coins created at the end of the week give or take, so 112,500 will be node stakes. That is just 10 people want to start a msternode and the coin are off the market assuming every masternode holder wants to sell which they won't. In short there wil not be sell pressure at all our chance to scoop them up is now and hopefully i can get enough for one more masternode. Maybe not in the 1st week, but eventually the incentive to get a masternode is going to wane. With each new masternode, the reward for each masternode decreases slightly. Coupled with the decreasing reward schedule, this will make the incentive to get a new masternode even less. Some will accumulate coins to try and run more masternodes. However; each masternode will require someone to run a separate instance of the wallet. This eats up RAM, CPU usage and disk space. Moreover, each instance will require a little more time for the user to keep an eye on and make sure it is running properly. Eventually, most masternode holders are going to reach their saturation point and start selling off the proceeds. The dev team and the community are going to have to continue to take steps to keep up interest to counteract the inflation. Only time will tell, I guess.. True but we have roughly 36 days of crazy DPOS and then it will be a set amount 5% annually which should control infaltion. Yes i'm sure many will try accumulate coin to get another masternode because i will be. Anothe thing that will chill out the sell pressure is people wanting the security features enabled and if i'm thinking right that will need 0.5btc worth of the coin, so that also eases the pressure. CryptBase from what i've seen will give even more incentive to holdcoin and set up a masternode for your cut of the 20% possible revenue they may create. Like you say time will tell, i'm happy either way being in this for such a small amount of coin. 1+btc to be part of this is all good either way im happy with the risk reward here. |

Lets hope the whales stay away from this one. Be nice with all this interesting tech to have the focus on what the coin can do instead of what people are trying to do with the coin. And to the young pup who keeps whining about why aren't the devs posting every 10 minutes / wiping my butt for me etc Look at the release schedule. They have more important things to do than hold your hand. i'm with you on this one when people hear the whales are jumping in their eyes light up with $ and then decide to get involved in the coin because how much BTC its going to make them. I only joined this coin for the tech and the small amount of extra food i could get from running my masternode now i have to deal with girls crying for the pump to hurry up or scam when we lose a couple of sats and they panic sell. |

There have been many questions concerning the various tech implementations, our block chain structure, and how CryptBit and Cryptbase will be evolving in tandem. We have put together a release schedule that should answer many of these questions. In additon, one of the block chain devs will be checking in periodically over the next days. English is not his first language so there may be some less than fluent phrases - but we belive it will be a good opportunity for some discussion of many of the more technical aspects of CryptBit. I get that the more i read the more it becomes clear. =Winner. Sold some of my alts to have bigger stake in this. That makes sense wanting a bigger stake in this coin. I have not found one with so much potential since being in crypto. Me neither, i've not been around long but in my short time back this is the only coin i'll be getting involved in for now. C-Cex has sold 37btc the last seen, going strong for so early on and lots of interest here on this thread ay? |

I wasn't going to go cold to dig deep but for this i don't think ive got no choice. Masternode already in the bag but i'm thinking big and going for another node. Just hoping i understand how to set up lol |
