"UpBit Exchange Phishing Email Scam Came From North Korea, Source Claims"Hackers from North Korea were behind a phishing scam targeting users of South Korean cryptocurrency exchange UpBit, Korean-language cryptocurrency news outlet CoinDesk Korea reported on May 29.
According to findings by local cybersecurity firm East Security, the scam came in the form of an email sent to UpBit users requesting account information.
The pretence was a fake giveaway, with the emails also containing a file called “Event Winner Personal Information Collection and Usage Agreement.hwp,” which would run malicious code when opened. https://cointelegraph.com/news/upbit-exchange-phishing-email-scam-came-from-north-korea-source-claimsThis will never end, every day more phishing, scams, thefts ... and with Bitcoin increasing the price, more exposed. - Check the web address of the exchange before entering your data. - Update passwords regularly. - Do not open suspicious mail. Good luck,

It's an idiot chart. No market trades like an endlessly repeating fractal going upwards to infinity, but assuming it did, time span of the market cycle increases and flattens as market cap rises, so assuming this pattern repeated forever (not likely), it would look more like the picture below (red lines are mine). In other words, he created a fake chart espousing the value of fractals and then falsified what the fractal or regression pattern would look like to try and trick people. And you wonder why I can't stand most shitcoiners? 99.9% are just flat out liars and scammers. https://twitter.com/ChartsBtc/status/1134465700796469248Do not punish yourself anymore, enjoy the moment.

CoinJoin: Bitcoin privacy for the real world > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=279249.msg51275314#msg51275314edit: y con apoyo en donación BTC,s incluido: -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512
Hello all,
this is to announce that we're awarding: * 10 BTC to JoinMarket, for the first practical CoinJoin solution, and continued research into progressing this domain. * 10 BTC to Wasabi, for building a more end-user accessible solution and larger adoption.
The remainder of the funds is left for future solutions with more ubiquitous impact on the ecosystem.
For those watching, 822f559df14894bd57bdd1ef0ab983228b7816a69d035cc1c5d18fb569ee5e94 is the payout transaction, crediting several individual contributors directly as requested by the winning projects, and aggregating the remaining bounty funds into a single UTXO. It is (obviously) a joined transaction, mixed with other transfers.
Congratulations! -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE-----

Oof... extra glad I got into an exchange sig campaign. There's gonna be a lot of sig campaigners out of work when/if ChipMixer shuts down. Better try to up my post quality from now on as there might be some hungry competition out there. Wasabi wallet and one's like it will fill the void
CoinJoin really is a smart way to combine transaction outputs.. Its a meaningful way to take advantage of bitcoin's relatively long block times to mix coins together. Even if something like Wasabi wallet is some day considered a "money laundering service", there will eventually be decentralized applications not owned by anyone that can achieve the same effect. Yesterday I was reading a bit about this: CoinJoin: Bitcoin privacy for the real world > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=279249.msg51275314#msg51275314edit, another interesting link: [Guide] Decent mixing methods > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5146241.0
