You mean prime Canelo? Yes, you have a point. Well, if that happens then it's quite clear that GGG doesn't stand a chance to defeat the current Canelo as he don't got what it takes anymore. So a trilogy will be nonsense to even bother make it happen.

Canelo is just 31 years old so we can take that factor that he's on prime. It's an advantage over a 40-year-old GGG. If Murata will defeat GGG, non-sense to fight now with Canelo if he can't handle the types of Murata, how can he defeat Canelo which is currently powerful at this stage?

GGG will be tested by Murata. It can also be considered as his training before facing the stronger Canelo.

We all like to see the trilogy. GGG has to pass Murata if he really likes the third fight with Canelo.

Agreed. It is also head shaking that boxing fans want to witness a trilogy for Canelo and GGG. This Canelo of today would knockout the GGG of today in 7 rounds that everyone might say that it was unfair for the promoters to give GGG to Canelo hehehe. Compare the improvements of each boxer and decide. I reckon it is Canelo who has been challenging himself for his legacy.
He has accomplished a lot already and could surpassed Julio Cezar Chaver Sr as the greatest Mexican boxers of all time. He already set the bar high, with his 5 belt and the first Mexican to do so. And then he has a tons of followers as well. For his legacy, this will be the ultimate, to close the book on GGG and win in this trilogy.

Brooklyn Nets still have some chance to grab a secure seat on the playoffs without the need of playing more games in the play-in, they still have some few more games left and they needed it to win.

The sure seat on the playoffs is from 1st to 6th seed. They are behind 3 win games on the 6th and 2 games on the 7th. They might have a chance but it's hard to think that teams on the 6th r 7th won't be able to win some of their remaining games. Because of that, it's now safe to conclude and assume that Brooklyn Nets will play at the play-in tournament.

Not a problem at all as Irving is now there. It's just that, Brooklyn Nets need an extra step to be in the playoffs due to the absences of their superstars this season and not playing by 100% of their lineup. I'm sure they can get a slot in the playoffs.

They could have a higher chance to grab that seat but today they lost again against the hot Hornets and they're back in the 9th seed again. Irving only contributed 16 points while playing 40+ minutes in the game while Ball and Bridges made a combined 57 points, that's already more than the half of total score of the Nets. Looks like they will be in the play-in after all.
It's a horrible shooting night for Irving and Durant as well. Not sure what happened to Irving but his shots are not falling while the Hornets are very hot and even though the Nets did mount a good comeback to cut the lead, that is the best thing that they can do as Ball and Bridges made a good run in the last 4 minutes of the game so secured a huge win.
2603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next U.S. Crypto Center? on: March 28, 2022, 08:22:12 AM
What will be the next city to adopt this initiative? What do you think?
I'm actually pretty surprised that it looks like California is not doing anything about bitcoin, with the Silicon Valley and all the big companies headquarters I was expecting something and instead I don't recall any news about cryptos in Los Angeles, San Francisco, etc.

It will be interesting to see what's gonna happen especially in Miami.
If I'm not mistaken there is a bill introduced to make bitcoin a legal tender in California, authored by R-Jordan Cunningham:

Quote
Existing law generally prohibits a person from engaging in the business of money transmission without a license from the Commissioner of Business Oversight. Existing law defines money transmission as selling or issuing payment instruments, selling or issuing stored value, and receiving money for transmission. Existing law, the Uniform Commercial Code, among other things, regulates the issuance and transfer of securities and prescribes rules pursuant to which entitlements for securities held by a securities intermediary are to be determined. Existing law prohibits a corporation, social purpose corporation, association, or individual from issuing or putting in circulation, as money, anything but the lawful money of the United States.
This bill would authorize a private or public entity in the state to accept virtual currency, as defined, as a method of payment for the provision of any good or service, including any governmental service. The bill would define public entity for these purposes to include the state and every state entity, including the Legislature, the judicial branch, the University of California, and the California State University, and a political subdivision of the state, including a city, county, city and county, charter city, charter county, school district, community college district, joint powers authority, joint powers agency, and any public agency, authority, board, commission, or district.

https://fastdemocracy.com/bill-search/ca/20212022/bills/CAB00025753/

They don't want to be late, as there could be states around them making bitcoin and crypto more friendly. But we will have to see how this bill will go though, or will there be some objectives regarding this bill.

2604  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expect Bullrun this year again! on: March 26, 2022, 08:44:17 AM
I'm not going to say he is wrong, speculations can be right, and besides, talking back while Bitcoin is $1 long years ago, nobody believes this will reach $10k, but somehow, we even reach $60k in the right time.

While saying Bitcoin will reach $350k, almost everyone reacted it was impossible, it was unrealistic but I'd never find it wrong nor make a conclusion. What went wrong with this is He mentioned a year that makes it unrealistic.

Of course, he is bullish, anyone can be like that. It sounds unbelievable, however, we can't ignore any possibilities.
Everything is possible, but let's just be realistic that this year, it won't be possible, it might take more than that. And as the price grew stronger every 4 years, the more it's harder to make the price goes up. Even last year we have a prediction to $100k at least December 2021 and everyone was jumping or joy in November as we hit all time high.

And so the narrative continues, unfortunately, December was the opposite, the price did go down hard and the dream of hitting 6 digits didn't happen. So the same here, we might put numbers out there, but if it is not realistic then the prediction might not happen.
2605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 26, 2022, 08:12:28 AM
I hope there coach will not force Lebron to play the game if he is still not ok to play because there playoffs spot will be useless if his injury will gonna worsen later on.

Lakers Coach Vogel needs to wake up and learn something from that previous game against the Sixers. He should already see by now who's players are likely to build up a good performance if he will utilize their respective playing time. It's just happened that why just now he understands that using those role players are a big help. If only Lebron does have that kind of teammates who are playing at the same level last game, the Lakers might be in good hands.
I think it's too late for him to wake up. I mean we already saw that the line up that he put up in the 4th quarter are not going to give him victories. Specially with that kind of short lineup. They will be abuse in the middle as they opted to sit out Dwight Howard.

I'm expecting more minutes, especially to Dwight Howard, next game. Even without Anthony Davis as long as Howard keeps up on his good performance, they won't notice the absence of AD. Vogel needs to do the same setup he did last game. That loss to Sixers is something, not a shy loss since they were able to keep up until the dying seconds.

Grew tired of him sitting Dwight in the crucial minutes of the game, there is no Anthony Davis, so he should insert Dwight to help in the middle. Guys like Ayton, Jokic and even KP take advantage of that small line up of them.
2606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Danger awaits Metaverse coins on: March 25, 2022, 05:14:25 PM
Come to think of it, there is no metaverse project that's completed yet, they are all hanging on to their BETA self, if the bear market comes hard this time around I think metaverse coins will dip so much that the hype won't be no more until a project finally have a complete metaverse tech in action.
50/50 in my opinion, if they will have a working model completed, even in a bear market, I think it's going to explode. Investors are looking for the next big hype and for sure a lot of them are waiting for the Metaverse projects to roll out. So regardless of a bear market, money is going to flow. It's just the question if the project is going to sustain it's run or not. Because if a bear market, wise investors are looking for a quick money and will squeeze everything. Maybe if they get what they want they will get out and move to the next hype in the Metaverse. Unlike if this is in a bull market, the price is going to be parabolic until it burst.
2607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 25, 2022, 04:38:23 PM

Well, at least the Heat have now improved as a team. They have Lowry, if Butler cannot carry the team in his shoulder, there's always one veteran would make the team still competitive at a high level. That's the reason why they signed Lowry, it's because of his playoff experience and he is also a one time champion.

Lowry can guide those young core of Miami, if Butler has an issue carrying the team Lowry can help.

Bam and the rest of the team were still there. They can all help each other to move forward. No need to limit the rotation, I know Coach Spoelstra will have a good strategy in case help or adjustment needs to be done inside the team.

They are the number now, they just need to work things out again and not to allow any possible issue to affect their performance.
They are on a 2 game losing streak now, the Bucks, the Sixers and Celtics are chasing them and it's going to be close as to who will be the top seed in the East also if I'm not mistaken they have the numbers against those team so they may have to end as the number 1 seed.

Nevertheless, it's not good to end the regular season with a losing skid, they have to find a way to win again. I think this is still Jimmy Butler's team, he can lead the team together with the experience of Lowry. They just have to be consistent, and they have the Sixth man of the year in Tyler Hero so this time is still solid in my opinion, perhaps they are on a struggle and just needed to win in order to bring back their confidence.
2608  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto ads targeted NBA? on: March 25, 2022, 04:10:55 PM
Yeah, Crypto.com is the biggest, as they now have the rights to Staples center, now renamed to Crypto.com arena, worth $700 million.

So everyone involved with bitcoin and crypto are targeting NBA because it's one of the biggest sporting events. So don't be surprised if you see advertisement around NBA because this is the new era of promotion now.

And if I'm not mistaken, even online betting sites that accepts fiat and crypto is also doing some marketing around NBA.
2609  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expect Bullrun this year again! on: March 24, 2022, 12:06:57 PM
As much as I want to believe that this analysis is true but the question is how realistic is this? If you are going to look at the chart you will see that the line for the next bull run will be in the next halving cycle and what we get this year and in another year is just the bear market. Although, it doesn't quite fit as a bear though but this might lead to bear run soon. Try to draw a line from two years ago up until now and you will see and I think if another FUD would come out maybe that would be the start.

If we look at the analysis from the graph, 2022 will enter a 4-year trend, namely the market will be red, but if you look at the facts that are happening in the market, I'm optimistic that the 2022 market will not repeat the previous period, I'm optimistic that the current conditions are certainly stronger than before, so there are opportunities for a bull run in 2022 will be soon .

Chances that those unfortunate things after the 4 year cycle happen from the past will not happen by this year or even in 2023 since as of now many great things happen, bitcoin already gaining good momentum in the mainstream as well it got a good usage upon this war happening on Ukraine - Russia which many think as the government in other parts of the world that bitcoin is really good alternative currency to them. So for seeing red days on it I think it will only happen in short time period which is normal happening in bitcoin for over the past years.
Hard to judge, there is 'history repeats itself' in crypto, but then again bitcoin narrative has evolved since the last bull run of 2017. So it's really hard to see where the price is going, specially with the geo-political thingy that is going around the world, and then the war Ukraine vs Russia. There is this thought that both countries will go on bitcoin to survived and this might push the price or start a bull run. So far we have seen the price touching $43k again, but we have seen this before and so far it can't sustain the ran.
2610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 24, 2022, 11:12:19 AM
~
Can Morant will able to do it soon?
We don't know if it will happen but I think that it will happen or at least Lebron will let it happen.

How about that for the Warriors team? It amazed me with how they took over the game even though Klay and Green were sitting on the sidelines.
They played defense and make it to offense at high success rates. Jordan Poole got the hot hands early game while Wiggins made sure it will end with a bang.
Took a peek at the total stats and surprised it was not far of a difference. They just won with rebounds and freethrows. Good game.

This is what's good with this Warriors team. They have no Steph, no Klay and no Green but can still get some wins against a top seeded team like Heat.
This also shows that anybody can step up with the team when their all star players aren't playing for some reasons. We've seen 4 players scored 20+ or more in the Warriors showing that they can still be a deadly team without their core players.
I do agree, it was really impressive that they have jump on the Miami Heat in their home court and beat them. A lot has step up in this game, Poole, Kuminga, Lee and Wiggins. And this time, they did shoot very well in the 3 points and that's what bring this win. Wiggins hit a crucial 3 in the corner and then Poole also made one and that is enough. Hopefully when Curry and Thompson goes back again, they will still be the same deadly team because it seems their chemistry has been interrupted or inconsistent.
2611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto.com as Sponsor's for FIFA World Cup on: March 24, 2022, 10:16:22 AM
This ain't the first time they're dealing with stuff's like this, they already dealing with Australian football League, Formula 1.
Joining/ Sponsoring the biggest event/game in football history is a great thing to see as they have been on a rapid increase ever since 2016 having over   10 million customers and over 4000 employees.
They're are also in support of teaching kids about Crypto technology, which i fancy very well!

https://blockworks.co/crypto-com-adds-fifa-world-cup-sponsorship-to-sports-marketing-strategy/
Yeah, they are all-in, you can see their logo on almost all other sports right now. They are really betting high that the exposure will give them customers for the future. And also since they have deep pockets, so why not used the biggest sporting event to market their product? Win-win for them, they are really setting the trend right with this whole new sponsorship.
2612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 24, 2022, 09:31:41 AM
I feel that’s she’s justified in retiring because if you’ll read her statement then you’ll notice that she said that she had lost her passion for the sport, and the efforts it takes to be on the top were taxing her hence those are reasonable reasons for her retiring quiet early. Furthermore I feel that she will yet be remembered as a legendary player of this sport, and I hope that she find success in her next venture.

Well, I lost my passion for my job 10 years ago and I still need to work Grin

I think what she did was really brave, it's a shame because she was one of the rare women tennis players I liked to watch. Professional sport is both physically and mentally excruciating and to be where she's at - it took 20 years of playing tennis day after day.

After winning Wimbledon and fulfilling her dreams, she has the rest of her life to enjoy the money she's made. Well done.
Lol, everyone needs to work in order to bring food to the table. But maybe she has a lot of money from playing, invested it right and that's why she lost her passion for the sport. But as we have said, she is very young, she can still win GS in the next 2-5 years and compete high level. Maybe she did lost it, but I speculate that there could be more compelling reasons behind. Maybe she doesn't want to damage her body and his mental well being.
2613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: has anyone heard about tokenswap.net ? on: March 24, 2022, 08:54:18 AM
I guess majority has spoken their piece, Lol, I don't know how and where you heard this exchange, but it is very bad to say the least.

Although someone has pointed out that they have tokens, but it's already dead so another indication that the project and the exchange itself will not be successful, sad to say.
2614  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $40000 resistance on: March 23, 2022, 12:02:57 PM
Not totally full of shit but there are people who are really that confident with their analysis thats why they do really make out some claims on something they are really very sure to happen.
Who are those? We even know that analysts are either correct or wrong. There has been time analysts would say the market will be bullish but bearish will be the market. Even analysts will always give conditions which will be confusing as they will say if the price decreases to a point, it will be bearish, but if it increases to a point, it will be bullish.
I can only speculate that those who are confident of their predictions are heavily on the bitcoin side, meaning they have invested so much money that they want to predict it that it will be bullish so that their money will continue to grow. But when the market shows bearish, then continue to preach otherwise, for obvious reasons that they have some narrative behind, so they are biased on their predictions and analyst.
2615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto wealth can only be built in bear market on: March 23, 2022, 10:49:06 AM
Wealth is created during the bear market not in bull market, the question now is are we still in bull market or bear market? We can't expect crypto market to crash instantly if bear is going to happen it will be a gradual process so what is your take on this? Should newbies wait or buy coins right now?
This is a hard lesson for anyone here, I myself have the wrong mentally before, but when I learned to save and accumulate during bear market and then sold during peak at bull run, I understand how part of the market works.

For newbies it will be hard to have this kind of mindset, but as I have said, experience is the best teacher so better go through it and have first hand knowledge.
2616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 23, 2022, 10:17:07 AM
How about a monster dunk from Zion Williamson this morning? he seems to like doing fine and might gonna return next season for sure.
He was a prodigy and basketball fans have lots of expectations for him, he even got his personalized shoes because they've really expected to see him dominating the league.

https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=299414015666947
Though he needs to work out on those fats he got. Doubt if he's still that Zion that was overrated from high school and up to this day. The NBA league is different than that, maybe he can work on his post moves a little bit and more on the shooting as well. He may got some good amount of foul on the paint since he dominate that area.
And maybe that's the same reason why he got that injury in the first place. When he thought that he can can go and barrel on everyone inside to score, but there were times that he was check by defensive players so he try even harder. So it's hard to dominate right now with so many good big men that can guard him inside. So he needs to focus on how to get really strong if he wanted to have a chance against guy like Rudy Gobert.
2617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: March 23, 2022, 09:50:53 AM

If GGG loses his fight against Murata, for sure even promoters will not be eyeing for the possible fight against Canelo.

Not unless a huge amount of money that will pressure Canelos camp to proceed and deal in fighting GGG, a possible exhibition
fight, though, it's also very popular nowadays.

This is a must win for GGG and I have a confidence that he'll win this one, and that the trilogy with Canelo must be done.
That 2nd fight was a bit unconvincing especially when the fight were so close and 1 judge has a wide score card gap.
I don't know but I would love to see a 3rd and convincing fight.
And one thing is for sure, most of us doesn't want it to end in an exhibition match.
Exhibition matches are a joke, it's purely for the money.
No way either one of them will want a trilogy that will be in a exhibition match. They have a lot of things to settled inside the ring and Canelo even says that a 3rd fight will be personal for him.

And I do agree that the 3rd fight should be convincing, at least in our eyes there should be no robbery whatsoever. There should be a clear winner or better yet if the winner can get a KO, that will be good so that there will be no questions or suspicious, the judges will not decide who is going to win.
2618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 23, 2022, 09:27:18 AM
If he has problem making weight then he should go on and move on the next weight class after this one, otherwise, if he either fight Inoue or Donaire, he might not be 100% because of the difficulty of making the required weight.

If Casimero will lose the belt because he didn't make it to the weigh-in, for sure Inoue would have an easy way to become an undisputed champion because Casimero is not in the bantamweight anymore and he doesn't have to fight him.

This scenario is not good, so hopefully it will not happen and Casimero will focus on his goal and will remain discipline all the time.
As much as we don't what that to happen to Casimero, who knows, there are a lot of boxers who loses their belt in the weighing scale.

Yes, this scenario is not really good for Casimero, he needs to be focus on training and his team will have to work 100% on him to make the weight. And also the mental aspects of it, sometimes it could also affect athletes, specially when there is a lot at stakes in a fight.
2619  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need more more to invest on crypto. on: March 22, 2022, 11:08:37 PM
The most important thing when we invest cryptocurrencies is to always use leftover money or we are already in a safe zone, this will make us calm and not panic when prices drop so I never recommend selling assets to invest in crypto, as long as we are not financially disturbed then we can focus on the goal that is big profit.
agree with you, selling personal assets that are really needed just for investing in crypto is not really recommended...
Of course, it is not recommended to sell your other assets and then spend the cash flow to crypto, wise investors will not do that.

but that doesn't mean you shouldn't do it, if you are really ready with all the risks that occur then you can just take the risk of selling personal assets to invest in crypto because I have a friend who sells his private car just to buy bitcoin when the price is high was at $10k, then he sold the bitcoins he bought at a price of $55k/BTC. this was a huge profit he got from selling his personal car for bitcoin investment at that time.
For me you can only sell assets if that asset is non-performing, but it if a good asset like property or precious metal, not good to sell. There could be money that will flow to crypto that we really know it existed, when bitcoin reaches all time high last November, you can see the whole crypto market shoots up to trillions, so I'm sure in the next bull run it can multiple and grow even higher.
2620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you spend crypto? If yes, for what? on: March 22, 2022, 10:44:20 PM
Here's a question to the audience. Do you actually buy stuff with crypto, like services or goods? If yes, what kind?

I've recently got a Binance card to play around with and use it to pay for everyday expenses. Works pretty well.
I haven't purchase any stuff with my crypto, but I have been using it for years to pay my some of my bills like:

(a) internet connection
(b) credit card
(c) electric consumption

So that's a lot of thing for me, just glad that we have services in our local crypto exchanges that support this and many more like phone load and other stuff. But I will glad to spend my crypto if there is some local merchants that will accept it.
