2621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please DON'T pay any taxes on your crypto! on: January 27, 2019, 07:23:24 PM
I think that ignorancy and lack of information are the main problems here, as always, and not cryptocurrency taxation.
As far as I'm aware tax is paid on transactions, which is quite all right if you ask me and not on holding Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies itself. Besides to pay tax on coins in your wallet authorities would first need to have insight in your wallet and that is not the case. So don't spread fake news.
2622  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of Bitcoin hit 12 to 13k end of this year? on: January 27, 2019, 01:22:53 PM
Everyone is expecting for Bitcoin price to rise and cross this boundary of 10000$. But market is still kind of standing still and not moving forward and speculating with any value is not very clever because it's hard to predict how the price will go in the upcoming period. Don't set some concrete values as your goals you might end disappointed.
2623  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Without Using Indicators on: January 27, 2019, 11:54:23 AM
Even as a beginner with no experience in trading,i would not still advice one to trade using trading signals, such signals could really be deceptive and misleading atimes, and could lead to huge losses
Instead of trading indicators, its best one learns the various trading strategies and analysis closely and put them into practice, and with time you'll learn the ropes and be able to trade without them.
Trading is very delicate, closely checking the pros and cons of every technique uses is vital

I agree with that. People just rely too much on trading indicators, preductions, charts and analysis and sometimes even follow them without any thinking. And that often don't bring you profit but losses..
The only way you will come successful trader is your own experience. I'm not saying that you don't need any knowledge and basic information, strategy and plan, but time spent on the market and learning on your own experience and results will give you the best guidelines how to behave as a trader.
2624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is still the most popular? on: January 27, 2019, 10:09:59 AM
Bitcoin is still not the most popular but also the most successful coin despite the price fall. And that is because it's still the most reliable, the most valuable and the most applicable in real world. So, despite all issues that Bitcoin has gone through and it will be going in the future I don't see how any oother coin could take it's place. There are prosperous coins at the market but they can only take the positions behind Bitcoin and try only to be the second best.
2625  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: January 27, 2019, 08:38:18 AM
Yes, we need blockchain. It's revolutionary technology that could be used in many different areas, it's not related only to cryptocurrencies. I think that many businesses have already realised the good sides of it amd think the ways how it could be implemented. Blockchain technology largley contributes to transparency and you can always follow the data from the begininig to the very end which is a huge advantage. With time it will be more and more adopted not only by private but also by government institutions as a best option.
2626  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predictions if Bitcoin ETFs are approved on: January 26, 2019, 07:09:07 PM
Many scenarios with ETF are possible and what it's even worse this situation with waiting to be approved or not could last almost forever.
Anyway, if it will be approved to my opinion it will cause positive movements and bigger demand on Bitcoin market but only temporary, I don't expect that to last too long. So, don't expect too much, ETF is not some kind of miracle that will make Bitcoin market to instantly recover.
2627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung S10 Embedded with Cryptocurrency wallet on: January 26, 2019, 04:54:02 PM
If the cryptocurrency wallet will be in the standard installed applications on the smartphone, this will help to make the cryptocurrency even more famous. In the future, smartphones should have a high degree of protection, since all money is stored on a smartphone

I'm sure that with time wallets will become standard applucations. Smartphones companies closely watch the market and the trends and they don't want to stay behind. They are very well aware that many of their customers are involved in cryptocurrencies and they want high end service.
It's true that this is also security issue but I think mobile phone protection is developing very fast because it's necessary to achieve certain standards. We are having our lives stored on mobile phones, not just crypto wallets, and that requires extremely high level of protection embeded in phones but also very high level of user awareness and self protection.
2628  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time To Exit Trading on: January 26, 2019, 12:55:59 PM
If you ask me the best time to quit trading is when you still making profit. Many stop only at the moment when they begin to lose constantly but then it's too late. Of course that moment also depends on your goals and amount of money you have earned, whether this satisfies your needs or not. But important is to be realistic, not greedy and to estimate your real possibilities and opportunities, then you will realise by yourself when it's the best time to exit trading.
2629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is Adopted what happen to ilerate population(stone age people) on: January 26, 2019, 07:54:50 AM
If Bitcoin was formaly adopted by governments in countries that wouldn't mean that ir would be obligatory to use it and that fiat would disappear. But it's not that only older people are technology iliterate and have some reserve towards Bitcoin, there are younger too and besides that you can't force anyone to use Bitcoins, it's the matter of choice. But I agree that is the problem and that education, especialy for modern digital world is very important but not enough efforts are being done to change that.
2630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your most common uses for cryptocurrencies? on: January 25, 2019, 08:07:56 PM
Cryptocurrencies or to be precise has the very practical use for me. I don't use it only as an investment but to cover my everyday expenses. To pay the bills, buy goods in stores or even to pay for traveling. I use Bitcoins on my Bitcoin debit card which makes every payment much easier because card is accepted everywhere and I don't have to worry if the merchants accept Bitcoin or not.
I think that the true value of Bitcoin is use in real life to pay for real things as an alternative to traditional fiat currencies.
2631  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are being settled to explode ? on: January 25, 2019, 05:09:49 PM
I think this is just another wishful thinking. I know everyone is already unpatient and can't wait for market to start moving in positive ways. But to my opinion the price will not jump significantly in some short period of time no matter of ETF expectations and similar. There is some positive vibe that new year and new begininig brings but I don't think this is enough, investors are still very careful.
2632  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: January 25, 2019, 12:22:15 PM
I can say that I'm involved with Bitcoin for a long time so I have learned my lessons long time before but I can agree with your conclusions because I see them by other users. And I would maybe replace "Fear" with panic, I think it's more appropriate to describe the users behaviour.
Greed is another bad thing and unfortunately I think that it's correct to conclude that many Bitcoin users are driven by greed but that can only lead to fast and wrong decisions that at the end could cause you much harm.
2633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Questions to BTC Holders 2011 And Before on: January 25, 2019, 09:05:52 AM
I'm one of those who got involved in Bitcoin back then. It was the very beginning and Bitcoin wasn't nearly so popular and known as it's now. The price was relatively high for my income I had then but I decided to give it a try and didn't regret.
Opportunities for storing Bitcoin were very limited and I remember that I kept mine on blockchain wallet. It was much harder then from my point of view so I think todays' Bitcoin users are spoiled.
2634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's 10 years challenge on: January 24, 2019, 05:04:45 PM
Bitcoin is still rather young technology and in relatively short period of time it has developed a lot and made big success, Bitcoin is kind of phenomenon although some don't think so. Still there is plenty of room for further progress and I have no doubts this will realy happen no matter the obstacles that might appear but it takes time and patience. We are living in a very fast world with constant changes so some can't wait that Bitcoin reach the hights again but like I said, some things take time.
2635  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Continue To Fall In 2019? (Sharing my thoughts) on: January 24, 2019, 08:31:36 AM
There is always possibility for price to go lower, just depends on different factors that will influence the market. Not it looks that market is standing still and there is no "fresh blood" comming so probably the price will stay in current range for a while. It seams that everyone is waiting what will happen next and how the situation will develope before taking any action. I don't expect some further fall at the moment but neither some significant recovery.
2636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: day trading is like having sex on: January 23, 2019, 08:46:27 PM
Funny comparison but kind of true. And just like sex day trading could be very risky so you have to know exactly what you are doing.
Only the bravest and the most skilled get with the profit at the end so day trading is not for everyone. And to my opinion you can do day trading only in limited period of time, the longer the risk is bigger and it's hard to maintain the good performance.
2637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reasons for Satoshi's anonymity? on: January 23, 2019, 07:21:32 PM
I think that reason is rather simpt, probably he likes privacy and doesn't want to be exposed to publicity. Probably he also owes a significant wealth in Bitcoin and we are aware this might bring certain risk if disclosed to public. Maybe there are some other reasons behind the decision to stay anonimous, like personal security, protection from politics and certain interest gropus. Reasons could be numerous and we should respect that and not speculate so much about his identity, it's really not so important.
2638  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese New Year 2019 on: January 23, 2019, 01:34:05 PM
We now have the luxury of not giving the slightest fuck about China. May it continue for ever and ever and ever.

Exchanges are now borderline impossible for Chinese folk to access. It's all P2P and OTC.

i dunno about that. p2p trading is required to cash in and out of the ecosystem, yes. but that just means chinese traders are on bitmex, okex, binance, and elsewhere now instead of the old mainland okcoin, huobi, and btcc.

when china banned ICO fundraising in 2017, it triggered the dip from $5k to $3k. so i wouldn't say they have no effect on the market. china still controls most of the mining hardware manufacturing market and chinese miners are probably a big chunk of the hash rate. they're still pretty relevant, i'd say. the government just can't meddle with exchanges like back in the day.

I can agree that China has certain influence on the market but still it's not so big as is considered to be, it has gone weeker with time. From my point of view China is not Bitcoin superpower anymore. Banning ICOs made instant but short term effect I would say. Personaly I don't think that Chinese new year will make some significant impact on Bitcoin price but I do allow to get positive surprised.
2639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should countries accept coins at governmental level? on: January 23, 2019, 08:44:51 AM
To accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on a governmental level would give some other dimension to them. That would mean they are formaly recgonized and regulated and thus introduced into economy system. That would give people more confidence and security to deal with cryptocurrencies. Still in practice that will not be so easy to performe and every government has its own attitude towards Bitcoin.
Some see only bad sides of government recognition, like taxation, but this you have now already because Bitcoin transactions are taxed in majority of countries. But we mustn't forget that formal adoption would bring many good sides and further progress for all cryptocurrencies and some obligations should be accepted, that is inevitable.
2640  Economy / Economics / Re: More than USD 1.5 bln has been stolen from exchanges. Here’s a recap on: January 22, 2019, 05:53:41 PM
some say that the exchange is still vulnerable to theft. but after a lot of theft happened, I also thought that this was a conspiracy, namely whales that took a lot to dump and to the public it was said to be theft. What is your opinion?

This is just another conspiracy theory that has nothing to do with reality. Sometimes I think that whales been given some superpowers.
Exchanges are vulnerable and we are all aware of that. They are perfect target for hackers and there is no conspiracy behind it. It's true that exchanges should do much more on security to protect the funds of their users. And please be aware that hacking exchanges has absolutely nothing to do with blockchain which is a technology. So maybe you should get some information first before setting up theories.
