2621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does inflation affects bitcoin? on: February 23, 2023, 09:48:06 PM
I don't see the connection between having high price goods and consumables with bitcoin's price. Bitcoin is a deflationary asset and the more the price of these goods is being ticked in by inflation then that means that bitcoin's going to be higher than theirs.
The higher the price of everything goes the lower the value of fiat will be, so if you want to buy bitcoin now you have to pay higher price against US dollars. Not everyone here is from USA so the exchange rate of USD is taking a part here.
Right and that's why those that think that bitcoin's price is getting any lower in the future, think of how inflation will affect bitcoin's price. So as things mostly go up and the value of fiat gets lower, there will be more fiat that's needed for every purchase that we'll do in the future.
And the same goes for bitcoin, it has got only one way in the future and that's to go up based on factors that we know like inflation, halving, mass adoption and other more.
2622  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: February 23, 2023, 09:15:51 PM
People seem to think that being your own boss and not having to work for someone else is being financially free. These people would decline an attractive job that has potential future benefits in the long run.
I can say having your own business and being your own boss is not as rosy and easy as people may think.

People also can be their own obstacles to financial freedom. We need to study our environment, examine our options and decide on a realistic goal that could be actually accomplished.
Honestly, it's true. When someone talks about being their own boss, they think that people would really work for them and their money will work for them.
But the fact is that these people are the most hardworking people just to build what they are up to and it didn't come easy if ever it becomes successful. So, the effort is at the beginning up to the middle process of what they've been doing like for their business and then they'll do what it takes together with the failure that they may meet in between but then will just push and continue for what they desire and what they vision entailed to what they do.
2623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos and Tech Devices on: February 23, 2023, 08:43:10 PM
Which device do you find most convenient when accessing an online casino: a laptop or desktop, a smartphone, or an iPad?
Desktop for sure, I'm comfortable doing things on my desktop and not on tablets or smartphones. I feel that I'm more comfortable gambling and doing my stuff in there.

Secondly, which do you find more convenient: playing a casino game through their app or through their website?
Either of the two but since I've mentioned about how comfortable I was doing things on a desktop then it's gonna be the website.
2624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy BNB now? on: February 23, 2023, 08:10:07 PM
Hi guys, Is it too late now to buy BNB? Or can we expect huge price drop in this year?
I hold it and bought some in addition to my future holdings of it. Every time we see some drop or pump, we don't know what's next to it. A huge price drop is expected when it just came from a huge pump. I think we're done and pass that moment so, it's now time for it to see some pump in the next months to come when we go near to the halving. If you want to buy, buy it with all accountability and you have based your decision solely on yourself and not with anyone else.
2625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and investing, and still very broke.why? Is it spiritual? on: February 23, 2023, 12:43:22 PM
The desire to learn in my opinion will also greatly affect the results of what is done, in this case trading or investing. Because how could people be successful while they are lazy to learn to know what they don't know. It will be very strange when they are lazy to learn and they want to have a decent knowledge of trading and investing.
If someone is eager to learn something such as trading, they'll try hard and won't be giving up quickly when they fail at the beginning.
The eagerness to learn and make a profit is what will push them to their best whatever it takes for them to reach that very moment. Failure is part of the process and the same goes for learning as it will require them a lot of time in doing so, because many do fail and stop learning at the same time when they don't feel it anymore.
2626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad feeling like a bomb is gonna go off on: February 23, 2023, 11:08:56 AM
But maybe other people don't have an idea when they will buy or sell because many of them only follow the advice of people who they think are experts. And now we should still try to pile up Bitcoin before half of the coming. So if there is a feeling about how the market will move, we follow that feeling while preparing everything. Thus, we will not be confused if the market's direction is completely changed.
That's a sad thing, there are new investors that only rely on others for their decisions. They're the ones that are floating whatever the situation of the market because they don't have their own decisions. But soon, they'll learn their lessons and will realize that it's best for them to rely on themselves only.

if we talk about bitcoin then there is no need to panic about the mistakes of our feelings. because after buying we are only waiting for the long term goal, of course if our analysis is wrong, we are given the opportunity to collect even more bitcoins, considering that this is an opportunity. but if this is on a new altcoin or altcoin that is at the bottom then only luck can save us. therefore invest in coins that can be for the long term, so that our time waiting is not in vain
The situation is different for each of us, there have been holders that have sold at a lower price than the ATH and didn't manage to accumulate again.
It's harder to get some and buy back again since selling is the quickest and easiest thing to do. But in terms of accumulating again, trust me, many of us do struggle in doing it again when we've seen different prices whether it's high or low.
2627  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: February 23, 2023, 10:08:49 AM
I've checked my Maya account and only used to buy there with their giveaways and converted it into a few alt. They still don't have deposit features so it's like numbers and projections only that we buy whether we buy bitcoin or any alt there.

Ah, OK so no one can deposit, that makes me feel slightly better because maybe when they enable it I can use it too.
Yes, it's the same with gcash but I'm more optimistic with gcash/gcrypto since they're partnered with pdax. Honestly, it's easier to play with their app if you want to trade with little amounts and play it around.

That's good to hear that coins.ph did manage to fix your account. How much is that custom limit that they've given to you? I hope it's not the same as mine that they've lowered it instead of increasing.

Hmm I don't know, I should probably find out. It just says "Custom Limit."
Since it's already through their mobile application, you can check it by hovering in the Account > Limits and Verification, and from there it will appear how much you've got limit for cash in and cash out, daily, monthly, and annually. You can scroll on it up and down.
2628  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: February 23, 2023, 12:56:05 AM
Mas matindi pa kung pwede na tayo mag deposit/withdrawal kay Maya at Gcash pero si gcash naman PDAX ang partnered kaya pwedeng direkta nalang sa PDAX.

Gcash is great except they don't natively support crypto. Just for the record Maya does not allow crypto deposits from non-Filipino citizens...
I've checked my Maya account and only used to buy there with their giveaways and converted it into a few alt. They still don't have deposit features so it's like numbers and projections only that we buy whether we buy bitcoin or any alt there.

Also for the record I was able to resolve my issues with coins.ph. No longer have a monthly cashout limit and annual is "custom," whatever that means, seems to be good enough until next year.
That's good to hear that coins.ph did manage to fix your account. How much is that custom limit that they've given to you? I hope it's not the same as mine that they've lowered it instead of increasing.
2629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad feeling like a bomb is gonna go off on: February 22, 2023, 11:55:48 PM
It's fine if @OP says the market is bad at the moment but only temporarily because it will start moving up again. We can use it as a moment to buy the bitcoin or altcoin we want. We can only be prepared with all the possibilities that can occur, including the current correction and we are still lucky to be given time to buy more bitcoins now. We will not know when the bitcoin price will increase again so it can make us too late to increase our bitcoin amount. Even though market conditions will be as they are for the next week, that's also okay because everything will return to normal.
We do have an idea when the price of bitcoin might increase and that's after the halving. And as we approach to the next halving by 2024, that's giving the idea of what everyone must do and that's the usual thought we say for everyone is to accumulate.
Sometimes our feelings are invalid but many times if you think that it's valid, follow the idea and thoughts that you might encounter as you decide whether to just watch the market, buy or even sell.
2630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there age limits to Bitcoin investment? on: February 22, 2023, 11:25:53 PM
I guess the thread has served its purpose by seeing the majority say no and even I would also say no. There's no limit or age requirement for someone who wants to invest in bitcoin.
The government can ban its usage of it but everyone can still look after it and have their own investments by buying it even if there's a restriction from the government. But if there's even a ban, the restriction would only lead for it being decentralized and not having an age-related matter to stop people from buying it.
2631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to run a bounty campaign? on: February 22, 2023, 10:58:09 PM
There's a stickied thread on the Services that's giving the idea on how to become a participant and how to run a campaign, this also includes the bounty campaigns.
Reading the entire thread will give you an idea about the do's and dont's upon starting for both.
2632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Ways to Make Big Money at the Casino — Without Gambling on: February 22, 2023, 10:27:36 PM
#1
As if it's easy to just rob the entire casino and get away easily from the securities and authorities that will surely come to the place in a quick glance.

Kidnapping the owner's daughter is something that I can immediately think about because when we kidnap the owner's daughter and can take her heart to love us, there is a possibility that we will be the son-in-law of the casino owner hahaha.
LOL!  Grin
This is like a kidnap-romance idea that only happens in movies.
2633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Discussing the upcoming market on: February 22, 2023, 09:59:04 PM
ANYTHING ELSE ?
Bitcoin halving.
Do not forget about it because that's the major update that will come to the market. It's going to happen within the next year and that's the factor that everyone is waiting for.
Unlike the upgrades that you've listed OP, bitcoin halving is an update that will affect the entire market which we know will result and impact it positively.
2634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does inflation affects bitcoin? on: February 22, 2023, 09:22:07 PM
Because I believed where people are facing high price over fewer goods makes it difficult for people to trade bitcoin with little or no capital!
I don't see the connection between having high price goods and consumables with bitcoin's price. Bitcoin is a deflationary asset and the more the price of these goods is being ticked in by inflation then that means that bitcoin's going to be higher than theirs.
Regardless of the situation of an individual, whatever the price will be for bitcoin, they'll allocate funds to it to buy or trade it as much as they want. Then the obvious is for those that have no capital, there's really no way for them to buy anything.
2635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where Do Lost Assets or Coins Go? on: February 22, 2023, 08:58:03 PM
I've seen those problems wrongly sent to the other network and they were recovered when some users approached the exchange they used. The exchange helped them in recovering them and I think it's on them and they have ways of recovering it since I've seen not just one or two stories about it.
I remembered my friend that send the tokens to a different coin ticker. The exchange didnt help them to recover the tokens and said to her that they cant do anything. Theres a possibility but the cost is far greater than the amount of the tokens mistakenly sent. I believe this is an alibi, cause what if the amount send is like million worth, I doubt they will just say to someone its loss, but will definitely find a way to recover it.
I agree, there's really a cost to the recovery process and if the exchange can do something with it, they have to do it but with a cost. Since you've mentioned about the cost, I also remember those cases that they have to pay a certain fee for the process and if it's not that going to take the whole cost since it's a mistake, it's better to pay that cost and to recover some than to lose everything.
2636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino games plebs like us must play on: February 22, 2023, 08:27:57 PM
Many like to play crash and it's enjoyable. Every gambling game is risky but as long as it is entertaining you and you're able to control your gambling habit then you know what's in it to come.
We as plebs, know what's best for us and how much we should let go, and willing to lose when we gamble. That's how we, plebs, are good at, whether it's dice, slots, crash, or any other game.
To gain a gambling habit is very easy that is why we need to be very conscious of the way we gamble even though we are fortunate gamblers. Everything that is too much is bad and we need to understand the fact that what ever is giving us joy or entertainment is good but too much of it is not good. It can lead to addiction that might become hard to leave.

I could remember when I always playing card games, I love the game and I never new that it could be so easy for me to become addicted to it until when I find out that I was almost gotten eaten with it. If I do not play it for a day, my body will be doing me like I've lost something.
Yes, too much of everything is bad. That's why if you're a gambler, you need to remember that you don't have to be wholly attached to the games you play.
You win and lose and that's it. If you win, take the money and go away and go back sometime again in the future and if you lose, just accept it and leave the casino so that you won't lose further.
2637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino games plebs like us must play on: February 22, 2023, 07:59:02 PM
When I play I don't bet much, because I know I'll lose it, when I play it's not much, I really like it when I'm bored and I like having some money in the casinos, when I say some money I mean 10usd 7usd, because with that It's enough for me, there is a game that I really like and it's called crash, it's a somewhat risky game but it entertains me a lot, I also like to play dice because I put few satoshis and that makes me have more control, I don't play slots Because they have a lot of risk and I spend money fast and I don't have experience.

Maraming salamat ulit, kabayan.

2640  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: February 22, 2023, 12:05:18 AM
