1721  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Dating Pastor nag launch ng sariling Crypto! on: May 16, 2023, 10:22:53 AM
1722  Economy / Economics / Re: it's so risky! on: May 15, 2023, 10:29:19 PM
I think 80% is too risky, but it depends on currency which is used to keep savings. Nowadays there are a lot of inflation risks for fiat currencies, which makes savings a risky investment too, if money is kept in fiat. And also it's important what the investment program is, since it can be small but stable profit, and it can be something of a gambling type. If its "gambling-type", I'd never invest more than 40% of the savings (this is actually a bet, not an investment in this case)...
Right, if money is kept on fiat then you have to combat the inflation as well. So, you must do something for you to have it retain its value through investing. Well, 80% of your total savings that will be into investment is a lot but real investors understand the risk and this isn't really a problem to them. Instead of doing nothing about it and seeing its purchase power goes down thanks to inflation, they'll choose to take a risk and that's through investing in those investments and assets they know will be of greater value someday. And to give an idea, we all know it that Bitcoin is making a huge difference and it has proven that it's one of the best assets that we can have to fight inflation.
1723  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin is not rising soon!. on: May 15, 2023, 09:51:58 PM
To begin with, I totally disagree with what you said, Bitcoin’s price has increased remarkably in the beginning of this year, it went from $16K in January to $24K in February and then it reached $30K in previous month. To be honest, it was a solid growth despite the global inflation and government’s attempts to break the market. Additionally , I truly admit the Bitcoin’s current condition of Bitcoin and broadly the market is rough and we have not seen a strong bull market for long time. However, we must adapt ourselves in every new situation and deal with it smartly. Plus, Bitcoin will obviously rise significantly in the near future. Unfortunately, we are not able to speculate the price accurately but it will definitely be achieved during this year.
They will not realize and recognize that. All they think is that the highest that we've seen for Bitcoin for this quarter is $29k and everything that goes under that is low.
That's the standard that they're setting and they don't think that the movement Bitcoin has made is still in good terms because all they want is a higher price.
When Bitcoin has come from its lowest and now is plummeting after reaching in close to $30k, that's not really a plummet that people should be wary about. It's retest and that's basically a normal thing to be seen when Bitcoin goes like that.
1724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BEST TIMEZONE FOR SPORTsBETTING on: May 15, 2023, 09:02:34 PM
Like the Subject of the topic says. For you what time zone its the best for Sportsbetting?.

For example i dont think european zone its the best, its one of the best but not the better of alls.

For me to see the events, having a life and also betting in life without having to wake up in the early morning its......

-3 or -4 time zone.

I have never thought of this.
If the concern is just all about betting freely, we're all free to do that in our respective time zones. This is a subjective concern and if you're good with your preferred time zone and that makes you feel better as you bet, follow that routine otherwise you can bet any moment you wish to be.

Bet whenever you like. The best time to bet is when you have done your research and you have a clear head.
I agree and I get this a lot and on the latter part, it's very important to have it so you won't be betting based on your emotion and you've done enough and gives you a reason on what you should bet with based on that time zone you'll like to depend on.
1725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Internet is one limitation of bitcoin on: May 15, 2023, 08:02:37 PM
I already saw how people are sending it from phone to phone wihtout internet
How? Through Bluetooth, GPS, or a satellite connection? I wonder how it happens because the last time that I read something related to this is about the usage of radio waves if there's no internet connection.

Internet services now resumed in the country but social media services are still down in the country. But there is a fix to that we are using vpn to sccess Social media.
As long as you've got access now to the web and you're able to visit social media websites and other types of websites then you can now have access to transact Bitcoin. If using a VPN is going to make you accessible for doing other things and will make you productive, that's not a secret anymore as even in the corporate world, there have been tasks that do requires the usage of VPN.
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 15, 2023, 07:27:16 PM
Hopefully the Lakers can beat Denver and repeat what happened in the bubble.
And this has brought up that the bubble doesn't really count for the Lakers champ title. I do hope that this is going to clear all of those doubters against the bubble and even against the Lakers.

History has been made for both Western and Eastern Conference because they both have teams that are still alive since play-in tournament up until now. If this is a rematch from the bubble then maybe we will see another rematch when it comes to the Finals, what do you think folks? Is it possible?
Everything is possible as of now and we just have to wait until the games are all started. For now, everything is going to be a speculation and this is a nice coincidence that we've never thought of.
1727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs XRP? on: May 15, 2023, 06:57:40 PM
Take Bitcoin, it's the one that's driving the market and making the price of altcoins higher too. If it's not for Bitcoin, alts like XRP won't go up, and even if Bitcoin goes up, a huge tendency that these alts won't go up as well. We've seen on the 2021 bull run, Bitcoin went high but then XRP didn't move to another ATH and that's because there's something that stops it and that's all about its SEC case.
If you think that's okay as an investor then push what you think and what you want to see to your portfolio. But, if you'll listen to the suggestions of people here then you'll start to buy Bitcoin regardless of the situation and then comes next XRP for which is what you really want to have.

Not quick, but next bull run is possible in 2025. That will not happen if most of my portfolio is in Bitcoin.

Nothing against Bitcoin , I just plan to make profits with my alts and then put majority of the profits I make into Bitcoin for the long run.
If that is so and you want to take chances with XRP so, push what you think will make your portfolio flourish and will make you profitable.
1728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does it take to become a Bitcoin investor on: May 15, 2023, 06:12:40 PM
If you already have Bitcoin assets at this time, of course you are already one of the Bitcoin investors, and currently there are very many Bitcoin investors who have studied Bitcoin so that they can get greater profits when investing,
And there go the lucky ones that have invested the right one and those that aren't who have invested at the wrong time.

because when we become investors we must know how the movement of Bitcoin occurs and the risks we must face because not all Bitcoin investors can always be profitable and this has indeed become the nature and risk of the  Investors, whatever happens you have to face especially in the crypto world.
It takes time to become profitable and you're right that it's not all that becomes profitable. Such experiences that we get from the market being an investor/holder, teach us on how to approach the market in our own ways. Some do just nothing at all while some, accumulate if the market favors and it's not that high at all.

My advice is first to educate yourself about Bitcoin. Learn everything you need to know about Bitcoin and what it entails, the risk involve. After getting the required knowledge, create an account and choose a good Bitcoin exchange platform like Binance, there are several bitcoin
 exchange platforms.
After this, fund your account, after funding your account with fiat currency USD, Once you have funded your account, you can use the exchange trading platform to buy bitcoin.
Everything will be learned accordingly if you invest in Bitcoin. You'll be exploring all of those things even going in the exchange and trying your ownself doing all of those trades.

1729  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Determinant of good society on: May 15, 2023, 11:43:42 AM
For a failed society I would call a society who is built on violence and killings going to invade other countries, corruption and treating different class of people differently where the rich are treated differently compared to the poor and everywhere you see there is corruption from the lowest instance to the greatest one,I will not name that country here but I believe anyone has already understood who that is.
It's like those hoods that we'll see typically in those documentaries where even their government can't control the chaos on those areas. And that's all due to corruption and no political will of controlling such so, it has come worse and that's no longer containable. While those societies that you've mentioned, the Nordic ones. It's true that they've got the successful ones not mentioning the others from other continents but they do really click to be said as one of the good if not the best societies where people are enjoying all of those perks and peaceful living, thanks to its people's cooperation and their government.
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 15, 2023, 09:53:00 AM
I think Dennis Schroder is the best for a long time this is for the future of Lakers
Yeah, that was a good acquisition back for them and good decision for Dennis. Well, if he has just taken the old contract offered to him that's giving him lots of money, he should have some other extended contract now but let's see if there will be a better compensation to him after this season.
Well, I just hope that he will not demand more money again like what he did in the past where he demanded 100M$ to the Lakers.
I'm sure that he has learned his lesson the hard way and that won't happen again. Whatever will be given to him, let's just guess that he's going to be grateful to remain on the team.

If I'm the GM, I'd rather spend more on Reaves than Schroder because he's the new star player in town.
Yeah, that's much more making sense if they'll going to give more compensation for Reaves to stay. But before with all of that, they should win against the Nuggets and aim to get into the finals first.
1731  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Spot trading or future trading which trading is best for beginers? on: May 15, 2023, 08:03:57 AM
Both spot buying and selling and futures trading have their personal benefits and downsides, and it ultimately depends at the individual trader's desires, threat tolerance, and trading style.
While the most experienced ones, they can take the risk tolerance for the futures. It's the quickest way to gain but also the risk is too high compared to the spot trading. For newbies, it's recommended to just stay in the spot, and if you want to test out futures then be prepared for the potential losses that you'll get. It's just easy to have it heard from others that futures are profitable. But you test and see if it's an easy for your own experience because the reality will make you regret that those overheard statements are overrated and far from the reality.
While those spot traders that have been confident already, they're the ones that will try to go in futures but it has no restriction, anyone can try it and if you want to get eaten by the whales and market, be aware of that.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Flokipepe #FPP on: May 15, 2023, 07:23:42 AM
Just another meme coin that's made maybe for just around 5 minutes through a dev that's selling a service about how they're quick in making altcoin of yours.

Another shitcoin that took the name of famous and expensive projects and is trying to make money on this nothing. I recently encountered a post on a forum that such memcoins can be created in less than a minute. No wonder that such coins grow like mushrooms after the rain. Their creators are so lazy that they pick up names for their projects from already existing ones Cheesy
Yes, that's true that these shit/meme coins can be made within a few minutes. Those are being offered by some devs that are looking for quick money. I've seen those offers and that's why every time I see a post like this, that's the first thing that I've been thinking of. Like that, they've just bought it from a dev that offers this type of service. As we can see, it's all about everything and even the names are just barely named after those projects that have been successful. Well, this is just one from the many that we're going to see so we should brace ourselves as many of them coming.
1733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep hodling your Bitcoin on: May 15, 2023, 05:57:56 AM
Holders, believers, speculators, and a short-term trader, everyone has a different mentality, just do your own thing well, and I am relatively rational and objective when it comes to investment strategies.
Right on, we've got our own goals while we stay in this market.

The pie thing. I don't have the energy and time to watch the market every day, just because I believe, because time gives me the best answer.
That's okay if you don't have time to watch the market. If you're just holding Bitcoin, you don't have to exert a lot of time on it and just set yourself a price and timeframe and you're all good.

There is no doubt that the Bitcoin market will grow again.
Those that think that the market will never be up again even if we're approaching to the next halving, they're are just unbelievers and have missed buying at the bottom so, they're discouraging people from buying.
1734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on potential portfolio on: May 14, 2023, 11:49:36 PM
If that's what you think will suit that $1500 capital you've got and you want to expound it with those altcoins of yours then that shall be good.

Eth $300
Atom  $200
Matic $200
Fantom $200
Dot $200
Injective $200
Ada $100
Quant $100
Hbar $50
Near $50

My concern on this one is that it's just too diversified. You can choose to have at least 2-3 altcoins and so you will have a solid portfolio with that. I'd rather have a few altcoins that I invest with greater sums than to diversify it with small amounts to many of them. But if this is your approach, good luck as you'll never know what will be the future of these altcoins of yours.
1735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can copy trading be profitable on: May 14, 2023, 11:04:37 PM
Is copy trading worth it

Can I make 20$ per day if I have 2000$
Yes, you can make that per day with the amount but do you think that you alone can do that? I haven't done copy trading but based on those that have done it, it's no different from trading alone. You'll get to learn from doing it on your own rather than relying on someone's trade.
You may also regret that you've done copy trading when the trader you've copied isn't doing well and those stats that have been shown are just for the glance upon you've seen it. So, to answer if it's worth it or not. It's worth it if you've done it actually and you've made a decent amount of money from there. But for the majority, you'll hear us say that you better trade on your own and not do copy trading as if you're just letting your money have its results through the hands of other people.
1736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good bitcoin investors! on: May 14, 2023, 10:27:15 PM
It's like for being the entire description of being a good investor and it's not just all about being a bitcoin investor.

* they're risk managers
I think this, although it's right but there's more to it like calculating and mitigating the risk that they're taking. Investors knew that investments are all risky, small, or high. But by their experiences, they tend to have the idea of the investment they're taking.
Like what we're seeing in most of the big investors of Bitcoin. We see people that have been taking risks and they don't mind it because they've done their research well. They've checked the history and even the historical charts. Many attributes do convinces them that Bitcoin is the actual investment that everyone should take and yes, I'm part of those people that would say the same them over and over again.
1737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 14, 2023, 09:52:39 PM
They’re saying Chris Paul is done in Phoenix. Vegas currently has the odds on Chris Paul being with the Lakers next season. This wouldn’t surprise me at all as LeBron has always wanted to play with Chris Paul. I’m not sure having an injury prone Chris Paul on the roster with Anthony Davis will be great for the postseason. They’ll probably talk about it during tonight’s game.

That is not a good combination, right now Anthony Davis is hanging like a thread whether he will be injured or Questionable just like Lebron James, but I think it is not a good idea in acquiring Chris Paul for the Lakers
Well, having "superstars" that are injury prone is a gamble and a high risk - high reward type of team. We saw it from the Phoenix although they're close to it but wasn't good enough. And after all the firing of these head coaches from teams that have got eliminated. That only shows that the team's management's weren't really happy with the result that they've invested heavily for their contracts. But say that Lebron will still play for Lakers for the next season, it is for sure that he's involved with the decision making into making the team greater and stronger.

Just another meme coin that's made maybe for just around 5 minutes through a dev that's selling a service about how they're quick in making altcoin of yours.

I don,t know about flokipepe because i seen at first time from here and i have previously seen floki one coin and pepe another one coin 2 coins both are different but now you told about flokipepe what is new opportunity waiting for us?
You don't have to know about it. It's an obvious meme coin and the name of it was taken through floki and pepe coin. They thought that they cannot come up with another name so they just name it with the combined names of those mentioned meme coins.

Move this to announcements, and while you are on it it's under token announcements as this is not a coin but a token.

Also you have a contract and not even a web page or discord. I can create 10 of these kinds of tokens in a minute. In fact i could use agent gpt to create web sites, social media sites and automate the whole thing for several tokens. And what you are offering is a contract you copied with a copy of a meme? Would it be too much to ask more?
You don't have to get serious with this project, it's all about what it is and we know that this is the typical shitcoin memecoin that just trying their luck in the market to milk money from investors.
1739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What makes Binance stay strong despite all FUD ? on: May 14, 2023, 08:51:43 PM
because Binance is one of the best altcoin at the moment and has popular projects (blockchain, exchange, launchpad/launchpool)
Binance is the exchange, and BNB is the altcoin that they've got. And yes, they've got enticing projects that's making the rounds on their exchange thus, made them one of the most popular exchange out there.

so that's what keeps Binance strong and many people still support Binance (invest in Binance for the long term and make Binance can survive until whenever).
You invest in their coin and not in the exchange itself. You invest in their BNB and that's if you believe that they've got a successful project and exchange running for which it's truly visible that they've got a known exchange and many traders and investors are going there. Their launchpool and other features are getting a lot of liquidity and that's why many chooses to keep their funds there and let it alone work for them. But, that's not an advisable thing if that's the only fund you have. Always remember to only do that with the amount you afford to lose because "not your keys, not your coins".
1740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 14, 2023, 08:09:10 PM
Thanks for that mate, I thought that it is on this day but I happen to be that advance as I got confused with the timezone. We have to support our man this time.
It's not just all about boasting but giving him the support that he needs even if we bet or not and we'll just want to watch his match. I really thought that it was today.

I also thought that this fight is going to happen in 24 hours? Perhaps the time is local to PH that's why it is going to be Saturday on their time zone? So from from I read, Casimero dropped Nghitumbwa in round 6. But he was able to survived but eventually lost on the judges scorecard.

Not the win that we wanted to see for Casimero as we are rooting for a knockout so that he can make a noise again. But as what we have said, a win is a win at least it's not like the same result as Akaho wherein it was very disappointing fight. At least Nghitumbwa makes his promised that he will fight till the end and bring his game against Casimero. So congrats for John Riel and off he go for another belt in this division.
Yeah, he has said and boasted that in the media that he'll give us a spectacular win but still, this is still a win for him. Now, it's going to be his next plan and what it would be. Will he go to the same division where Inoue is also there?
But I guess it's still too early for him to think about this since he just been through a fight or it's already on his books for the next fight that he's gonna take before this year ends.
