1621  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Good way to save guard our relationship/marriage. on: May 26, 2023, 10:14:01 PM
Of cause marriage is fundamentaly ordain by Almight God from the foundation of the world, but this era now, sorry to say marriage has now turned to garmbleing, any side can just wake up and demande for the portion of the asset.partiners should know what they are in to,and meet the criterials as an adult.learn the character of your partiner and understand him or her, even when you are right in a matter you can just be sorry not that doing you are not who you should be,
There are fixed marriages and people who have been there could fall out of love too easily. There's this culture in some countries that they need to fix marriages in order to combine and retain their wealth and businesses. Honestly, the first thing that comes first in guarding a relationship or marriage is communication. That's all, you just have to have a great way of communicating each other and knowing what your flaws are.

but as a man or woman of peac, remember let love lead, also partiners should put away suspecting attitude.
Love should always be there but sometimes it may not be felt and it becomes cold. And that's why you need to spark it up every time any of the two feels like that. It's a responsibility that you have to commit forever but then, there goes the divorces that seemed to become normal in many countries when marriage didn't work.
1622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Litecoin Really Go Parabolic This Summer? on: May 26, 2023, 09:48:32 PM
I still believe its power as it has got a use case for transfers but not too optimistic for the projecting value that speculations is bringing in for it.
Any crypto can be used as transfer gateway. There's no even need to use litecoin anymore. Another coin like tron even stable coins were even offering very cheap and stable value unlike litecoin. it's done for litecoin.
It's different with a few crypto, Litecoin still has a great community and that's why it's still an excellent crypto to be used as a transfer.

It's still having fans due to the bitcoin. Litecoin will not survive without bitcoin.
This is for all crypto, they won't survive if there's no Bitcoin at all. That's why the market is lively and that's all thanks to Bitcoin and stable coins out there. And we do have our choices whether we'll take it from the community or not, if we think that this is no good as an investment that's fine because there are still some that think it is.
1623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Pi mining networks real? on: May 26, 2023, 09:11:01 PM
no one knows because this project is from the end of 2018 I know until the day I don't determine its development in the intended mainet,
And people who are hoping that something might happen to it have complied to its KYC mandatory. That's certain that they've collected a huge number of data from those gullible people that trusts them.

the uneven implementation of KYC makes it doubtful to do kyc if you get an invitation
To make it look like they're legitimate and working on it, that's like a requirement to show people that they're making a progress. But in all reality, nothing really is happening on them but just asked for people's identities.
1624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: May 26, 2023, 04:37:04 PM
Yeah, I remember MVP that likes these sponsorships if it's with the Philippine Basketball especially if it his company's team that will represent the country on EASL.

Here we go again with the EASL thing. I hope they won't forget their performance the last time they played.
I'm sure they don't and I guess they're trying to prove that it won't happen again. I guess they just lack the preparation and this is why they're bringing this up.

I'm sure the sponsors are not happy about spending a lot of money to bring them to the venue country and witnessing them being dominated by the opposing teams. It cannot happen again, because if we still can't compete, it will expose how obsolete our brand of basketball is.
For sure that they are not when they've been sponsoring a team that's already out of the league too early. They want more exposure and I think that they'll think of the roster that they'll send there and it's not just going to consist of 1 team but it can be a combination of other players from other teams as well and that's more desirable.
1625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Promising Crypto Coins Expected to Make It to the Top 100 on CoinMarketCap on: May 26, 2023, 03:19:50 PM
Zksync is what I'm seeing a lot that has a lot of people who are interested but that's just what I think and I don't suggest people invest in it just as people become familiar with it. Everyone will say that such coins are interesting and they've got the potential in the next few years but, do not forget about that these altcoins market are strongly volatile and they might be at hype as of the moment and tomorrow you'll never know if they are still liquid or the devs have already made their exit.

Measure the volume of marketcap on CMC to evaluate the list of those projects, so there is no need to worry too much about technology, solutions, features,...
That's what I'm into before about volumes of projects but when I've got to know that it can also be manipulated by the devs, it's no longer that important.
1626  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: May 26, 2023, 12:52:56 PM

1627  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pinas magkakaroon ng stable coin on: May 26, 2023, 11:52:00 AM

1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoins during the bull run or just hodl? on: May 25, 2023, 08:10:24 PM
Next year will be my first bull run and have just been thinking about what will be best to do when it finally arrives next year.
Take profit or save your profits through stable coins then wait again for the bear market and use a bit from that capital to buy back.

Do you plan on just holding till an amount you are happy with or is it a good idea to try and trade altcoins whilst they are pumping to earn even more?
Your call but if I'm happy, I don't mind taking the shortcut route of taking instant profits. Because I'll never know when the better days are going to be back again. If you've been in this market, you're aware of what I'm saying and have been familiar with the volatility. Choose what you think is effective for you. Because what's effective on me might not be good for you.
1629  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How true on: May 25, 2023, 07:13:45 PM
The road to success is rarely easy, and the hardships we face along the way make the accomplishments all the more satisfying.
This is true and this is the reason why people acknowledge hard work, and even label the earned income of everybody who works hard for it as "hard-earned money". It's because everyone recognizes that everything that's good doesn't come too easy.

However, keep in mind that everyone is experiences and perspectives differ. Some people may have followed alternative life routes in which they encountered more advantageous conditions or opportunities, making their trips easier. Thus, it is understandable that people have different perspectives on this issue.
Yeah, there are people that have easier paths but don't be discouraged if you see some of those in your path. Instead of being jealous or thinking that this life is unfair because it actually is, use that as a motivation and you'll also get there wherever they are now someday.
1630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Litecoin Really Go Parabolic This Summer? on: May 25, 2023, 05:06:31 PM
It probably have became less interesting when Charlie has left the project but bagged a lot of profits and the twist is that he have told it to the public that he has sold most of his holdings and then left it.
Even the creator knew that if his own coin will have no future. It becomes speculation purpose. i don't see any impact from the litecoin halving. Nothing change at all. People needs bitcoin rather than litecoin. even altcoins were dominating the market right now.
That's what likely it is, the halving won't be impacting a lot from its own economy. I guess even if big names will hype the halving of Litecoin, there's a little bit of increase but that's still not enough to retain the impact of it longer.
I like Litecoin as it is because of the cheap fee and I use it for quicker transfers but as an investment, I don't think that I'll lean into it even if we're approaching its halving and even the potential bull run.

Litecoin has lost its power. There's no further development happens.
I still believe its power as it has got a use case for transfers but not too optimistic for the projecting value that speculations is bringing in for it.
1631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New ethical memecoin; PEPA on: May 25, 2023, 04:20:05 PM
Soon we'll see another meme coin named the Peppa Pig coin.

It's funny to see an environment of garbage from meme coins, a lot of things that I think they can use as an idea to exaggerate about it. People who have no knowledge of the field or even those who understand it try to deceive each other with promises of future profits. This is a waste of time and looks like a game that I think is wrong to approach in life, if you are not alert enough, you will also make other mistakes, honestly, stay away from things this trash in the crypto environment, because it simply makes you more and more failed.
A project that's new and then hasn't proved anything yet but promises future profits is already a sign of being a red flag. There can still be newbies that might believe it as they do know not that much about this market. And they've overheard something about meme coins profitability during the bull run but not anymore at this time.
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: May 25, 2023, 01:47:45 PM
I like this when they're adjusting the schedule of PBA in order to give way to the FIBA world cup and other international basketball leagues that will require some of the players from the teams participating the league.
This is essential because if they fail to do so, the league will face criticism. In the FIBA World Cup, it is crucial to bring our best players in order to compete at a high level. It would not be appropriate to send college players who are not yet in the professional league. Therefore, it is obligatory for the PBA to allow their players to represent the country, as we are competing on an international stage.
They've already faced criticism before when they didn't allow some of their players to play for the national team. This is what the basketball nation should be. Giving the adjustment to the teams and players that will contribute to the national team for these important events which is the world cup. I thought that this won't happen based on the past and thought that they've been too selfish and didn't care at all for tournaments like this.

Is it the PBA that's going to shoulder this participation on EASL or it is the SBP/MVP group with the help of PSC? I don't know how things goes there but if this is what's going to happen, this will require a lot of budget for them since games will played on each participating countries.

We should not worry about the expenses because most likely the teams that will participate are own by Pangilinan and Cojuangco, and we know they are 2 of the richest men in the Philippines.
Yeah, I remember MVP that likes these sponsorships if it's with the Philippine Basketball especially if it his company's team that will represent the country on EASL.
1633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: May 25, 2023, 12:49:27 PM
Some of the agendas that will be discussed are:

1) The possible return of Bay Area Dragons

- I like the idea of having foreign teams again in the PBA as that really brings much tougher competition in the league while giving chances to those low to mid-tier teams the good experience of dealing with a foreign team. I hope, if not conflict with the Dragon's schedule, they can get a chance to participate again in PBA.
They really have to allow the Bay Area Dragons to come back. This is also expanding the viewership of PBA and there's more hype if there's a guest team. AFAIK, there was even news before that the Dragons were already willing to allocate a lot of years of budget just to participate in PBA and IIRC which was 5-10 years of budget, CMIIW.

2) The home and away participation in the East Asia Super League (EASL)

- In a simple explanation, this means EASL games will be held in venues in all participating countries. Yes, teams have the chance to play with the support from the home crowd and on the other hand, also playing against an away crowd.
Is it the PBA that's going to shoulder this participation on EASL or it is the SBP/MVP group with the help of PSC? I don't know how things goes there but if this is what's going to happen, this will require a lot of budget for them since games will played on each participating countries.

3) Format of the season's two conferences

- Because of the PBA's adjustment to the World Basketball Events this year for Gilas, only 2 conferences can be pushed this Season 48, All-Filipino Cup, and still undecided for the import conference. I think it was Commissioners Cup when Bay Area Dragons played at the PBA therefore, maybe they can choose that conference again so the same height restrictions for imports will be applied to all teams if ever they will join again.

Please share your views about these, guys. Smiley

1634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins in the next century on: May 25, 2023, 10:26:09 AM
There's no need to be problematic about when Bitcoin becomes a legal tender if you're worried about the altcoins. We did already see this happen to El Salvador and to the Central African Republic and guess what happened? Got nothing for the altcoins. But as a thought of what usually happens to the alts when Bitcoin pumps, then we've already seen that it's making a huge round on what actually happens for many altcoins but not for the most, they also pump.

As long as bitcoin keeps doing halving mechanism and the chance for altcoin to increase will always there.
Well, the direct impact and effect goes to Bitcoin but as a common reaction of many altcoins, they are also benefiting from Bitcoin's halving as the market goes in the bull run so they do as well.
1635  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: May 25, 2023, 08:28:50 AM
^^^

Yes, Gcash is clearly superior at this point. Their spread is only 2% vs. Coins' 3%. Plus they accept coins on their actual blockchains as opposed to ETH or BSC network tokens (MATIC, BCH are the 2 most important to me). They also support LTC which is also awesome. Next step, Dogecoin, I hope.

It is also bad that Coins changed to legacy deposit addresses for BTC. A pretty dumb move given how expensive tx fees for BTC are these days.
I thought at first that this Gcypto is gonna be like PayPal's version of crypto acceptance but it's much better because the coins they support have actual chains and thanks to PDAX as their partner. Although one thing that I've always observed with PDAX is their regular maintenance, I'm not sure if that's actually good or not but it does happen regularly and as Gcash's partner, Gcrypto is also affected whenever it's requiring them.

All signs of mismanagement.
Well, I expected that Wei will apply what he's done with Binance but it seems that it's far from the expectation.
1636  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Presyo ng bitcoin umangat on: May 25, 2023, 06:41:23 AM

1637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigerian Father Rejects Son's Gambling Win on: May 24, 2023, 07:04:08 PM
Maybe the father just don't like that his son is gambling and we all know winning a big amount of prize can also increase the gambler's greed to bet more and spend bigger amount of money.
That's what we can think based on the action of his father. He doesn't want his son to be in-depth with gambling because, with a small amount, he'd won big.

Although if you would look on the positive side, that amount of money can help their family financially.
Yes, that money is already big to help them and can be spent on important things that they can, especially food and other necessities that they need.

Perhaps the father could just guide and remind his son about gambling. He may have won a jackpot, but it doesn't mean he can win again easily.
Maybe he's just a man that honor his words.
1638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 24, 2023, 05:23:22 PM
The main problem of Celtics its they dont have any buffer, they cant lose any of the remaining games, and they cant lose any of their players, they are really bad positioning.

In the other hand the more lenghten the series the better for Denver, they are gonna arrive to the finals much more rest than the other teams.
It's certain that they're going to lose the remaining games. Good that they've won at least one while the Lakers didn't even have a chance to win against the Denver Nuggets. While the Nuggets are waiting, they're able to take a long rest and if Celtics will prolong this series with the Heat then that's also an advantage for the Nuggets. We have the same thought as for Denver, that's favorable to them so if the Heat won't end the game 5 then more time for healing and resting for the Nuggets.
1639  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it true that 80% of the world's wealth in the hands of 20%? on: May 24, 2023, 03:17:25 PM
The issue of wealth being controlled by only a few percent of the world's population, of course, still needs proof and real data,
Even if we don't real data, the visibility of their companies, businesses, and other stuff publicly is already enough to say that they've been controlling the world's wealth. I'm into conspiracy theories but it seems that a few of those stuff are likely for real like that Rothschild and Rockefeller thing.

but if you look at the conditions that exist in my country and have done research, a surprising fact was found, namely that the country's resources are controlled by 5%.
That's a lot if your country has a huge mass. A total of 5% of it will make someone control over all of those resources and will make them oligarchs.
1640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling Altcoins for BTC on: May 24, 2023, 12:43:04 PM
In mid to late 2021, I was new to this space and went thru the altcoin phase. I staked my Ethereum and just now was able to unstake. I have been bitcoin only for at least the past year ( I learned). My first instinct was to unstake the ether and swap for BTC. My issue is that, If I did that right now, I'd sell at a 50% loss. The counter to that is that if im swapping for BTC, the btc price is also down, so..... If I wait till its up, its likely that BTC will be up too. I have this back and forth battle going on mentally of weather I should just sell now or wait. I dont want this J.P. Morgan owned mess, but I dont want to sell at such a loss. I just wanted some opinions.
Don't sell at losses if you're not willing to. What's the sense of selling at a loss if you do know that you'll be selling at a loss? You might just want to wait until you get a break-even or buy more with your spare money so that you don't have to convert and take the loss.
That's the best thing that you can do right now, buy some BTC using cash. 50% loss is too much and you're not going to sacrifice that for the sake of buying bitcoin. Well, I guess that's the easiest choice you can make, no need for any sacrificial sale at losses only if you've got spare.
