1741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this situations connected to the altcoin seasons that can coming anytime? on: May 14, 2023, 02:42:17 PM
I have to check the fee on mempool and good news, the highest priority is now down to $0.98 and that means that we've got cheaper fees as of now. Hopefully that this is going to keep going and the fees will be stable at cents and everyone can enjoy again these transactions coming in and out from bitcoin. This is the pride of bitcoin that we're all having even if the price won't be a lot as expected by many but it shall come there soon and probably after the halving.

@op, the images that you've used aren't visible and I'm sure that you can see it as well. You might want to reupload that using talkimg.
1742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: USDT sent to inactivated address! on: May 13, 2023, 09:39:19 PM
How did it happen that it was automatically sent to that address? Whether active or nonactive, it's still not going to happen if someone didn't have access to your USDT. To answer if you can still recover it, sorry to say but that's a no. You can no longer take it back unless the perpetrator sends it back to you. Transactions in crypto are irreversible and that's why even if you badly want that to happen, no can do.
Review your activity, maybe you've input your private keys on some sort of form or you did approve a contract from your wallet or so.

I am waiting for Casimero and Nghitumbwa's fight. While waiting, I happen to see a live stream and there's the underdog fighting.
I just happen to talk with my cousin this day and he said Casimero's fight is bound to happen tomorrow. Not looking for some odds but will likely to root for my fellow countryman, hoping he win this and watch that rematch against Inoue.
Thanks for that mate, I thought that it is on this day but I happen to be that advance as I got confused with the timezone. We have to support our man this time.
It's not just all about boasting but giving him the support that he needs even if we bet or not and we'll just want to watch his match. I really thought that it was today.
1744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PEPE time to buy NOW? on: May 13, 2023, 10:31:53 AM
If you people think that catching falling knives is going to give you something good, I guess you all got an idea of how it looks like catching those. And that's the same for buying this token and waiting for long term achievements. You can have your movements with it and buy it as you know that this is the typical pump and dump token that you may don't want to have. But as you know its basics and fundamentals are that there's really no use case at all and it's just a token that's certainly for trading and eventually will be left behind by most of its traders then that shall depict the future results of your trade holding this token. And as you can see, it's past with its ATH and many knows that it won't be back there anymore.

Another Filipino Boxer, Weljon Mindoro versus a Japanese fighter Takeshi Inoue. The round is currently at 10/12 and about to close the match soon. I guess this will end with a unanimous decision. Both are tough fighters and this is a good appetizer before watching the main event.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 13, 2023, 06:23:17 AM
Goodbye to the Golden State Warriors until the next season again and come back stronger. While we congratulate the Lakers as they proceed to the next bracket which is the conference finals(semi-finals) against the Nuggets. Another great match-up that we're going to watch. As Miami advances and just waiting for the winner of the Phila and Celtics as they go for game 7.
The Lakers coming from the lowest on this season and going this far while Nuggets. I guess this is one of their first appearances on the semis IIRC, CMIIW.
1748  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Sobrang Taas na Gas Fee today? on: May 13, 2023, 01:27:08 AM
Check this[1], this time lang naging ganito, mabuti nga yung pag send ko last time naagapan pa ng free accelerator kung hindi baka di pa confirm yun. At sa dun mag sasabi ng maghintay na humupa muna i dont think mangyayari yan within few weeks, mapapasabak ka talaga mag send with higher fees sa kakahintay na bumamaba unconfirmed txs and fee

[1] https://ycharts.com/indicators/bitcoin_transactions_per_day
1749  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is Poses a Great Challenge for Delayed Gratification on: May 12, 2023, 11:22:59 PM
Inflation can erode the value of money stored in traditional savings accounts as the purchasing power of that money diminishes over time. So investing your savings in assets that generate real returns can be a strategy to combat the effects of inflation and potentially increase your wealth. For example, holding assets such as foreign currency, gold, or long-term investments can help preserve assets and provide a hedge against currency devaluation.
Don't forget about investing in Bitcoin is one of the best hedges against inflation and many people do forget about it. It's already in front of them but they choose to ignore it.

As long as you understand the nature and potential benefits that go hand in hand and make smarter decisions, this is just a gentle test of this stressful life.
Can't agree more. It truly is one of the challenges that we have to deal with in this stressful life. You'll have to think of necessary things like investing and having a delayed gratification approach for your monetary decisions because with inflation, everything is going up but most of the salaries don't go up.
1750  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I don't know if am right or wrong about this. on: May 12, 2023, 10:52:15 PM
-snip-
Let him learn his trades and experiences until he's the one to open up to you that he's going to continue or he's already given up. Don't make yourself accountable for that as you've just shared and never encouraged and convinced him to trade. Whatever the result will be, it's his fault.
Learning trading with his own experience will be better, it will make him more independent and know what to do.
Be sure to warn about the risks of trading that will occur so that no one is blamed when getting losses.
True.
That's why we don't dictate what one must do with their finances and how they're going to trade. We all have our own instincts and what we think is going to be the best for us.
It's not going to be easy for the beginners but it's best for them to explore and discover the ins and outs of trading and let them assess if they'll stay or not based on the experienced that they've gained.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: May 12, 2023, 10:27:21 PM
Casinos don't promise you easy money or any money at all, casinos themselves warn the gamblers and say that they should only gamble the money they afford to lose and it's the consent of the gamblers that they gamble their money in a casino and hope to get a lot of money in return which is not what gambling is for.
And we know that casinos are a business that they earn from their customer's money and losses. It's true that they don't promise money for their gamblers but they need to win it over their system and choose games that gamblers want to gamble with.

You can have some fun, spend some money by spinning some slots or play a hand or two at a Poker table, but don't expect that you are going to get money out of it, if you get something, consider it a bonus for the time and money you've spent.
Just as what we mostly say about gambling that it's intended to have fun and people win for sometimes but not at most times. You choose what you want to argue with and people might have that misconception about gambling and investing. Those that are not yet educated yet, gambling isn't investing because I get that a lot of time and saw people say that it has no difference.
1752  Economy / Economics / Re: Without government job we can survive on: May 12, 2023, 10:04:55 PM
There are so many jobs available in the street but most are for skilled workers and educated ones. We have to a degree or better still get a skill that will make us to earn and create our own businesses for a better society.
Degree is like having another chance but being skilled is what most employers preferred. Here in my country, most employers require a degree but the salary is minimum so that doesn't change much with the reality these days. While the ones that haven't finished a degree but are skilled, they're earning more than those white-collar jobs. I am not discouraging people to stop their studies and just start working on. It's still good to have a degree but those that can't finish their degrees, they can learn skills and focus on it and that's what they have to offer for their employers and can earn better salaries.
1753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: May 12, 2023, 09:31:05 PM
Can't you go for both? I mean you can list btc and altcoin together in your portfolio. I think that will be best combination. Cause if you can go for btc,  then you have less possibility to multiple your fund within short time, while that's quite easy with altcoins.
Both Bitcoin and altcoins?
What are the altcoins that you suggest, the top tens? As you've said there are too many of them in the market and there are also stable coins. There's nothing wrong with stable coins as it can also be your choice when you take profits and keep them there.

Although i would only recommended altcoins with top ten except usdt, usdc. Those are stable coin IMHO.  But my recommendation is, already invest in btc with more than 60% of your total fund. That would never make you disappointed
I do agree with your recommendation of having more allocation to Bitcoin than any altcoin. And that should be the priority of someone who knows what's coming to the market, soon.
1754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good governance is a key to crypto growth on: May 12, 2023, 08:55:06 PM
I thought that this is a good discussion about governance and its actual growth. But then, at mid of reading, there goes this uncommon project that you've mentioned and you even misspelled it. Anyway, if we're going to the actual topic of the role of good governance in the growth of crypto for that specific country or area. It really plays an important part in how that growth must be. Starting from the rules and regulations and its openness for adopting crypto payments and being not so strict with the rules they set especially for the taxation of crypto profits. A government that understands how crypto works is also a big deal.
This is the altcoin board, it's filled with people who shill their projects all the time and it is such a shame but I have stopped caring about what newbie accounts are saying because of this reason.

I mean exactly this is the main reason why this forum is getting worse everyday but also bigger at the same time, we are getting to become headquarters for people to shill their projects and since this website is high DA on google SEO as well, that means if you could write something and if possible then link it as well, that means you are going to get your project to be ranking higher on google, if nothing else from people who would be interested from here as well, even if everyone here is against it, just the SEO work is enough to spam this place for sure.
You're right but there are some rules and I think that it's okay not until a mod sees that it's no allowed and removes the thread. But then, I want to spread positivity about the topic that he's brought up. I know for some reasons, we don't like really those that shills but then, that's them and if there's some legitimate topics brought, I'll just avoid that part and will focus on what's being asked but not about the project but the topic that might make good conversation.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: May 12, 2023, 08:27:55 PM
We're aware of the term. "It's always the house that wins". And that's true, no matter how hard you try to beat the casinos or maintain that amount of aiming each day, you'll never get lucky most of the time.
It's hard to set amounts that you must meet every day because instead of meeting them, you'll meet the opposite which is losing. Thus, if you're gambling every day, don't set high expectations or any amounts, and if you want to earn that amount daily, find a job or side hustle or make a business that can generate that amount safely. With that, you'll be assured that you can make $100 daily but then if you're persistent and you only to do that with casinos then try other sources that you can do with regards to casinos like adding some affiliate marketing.
Gambling every day will require a very high focus because we can imagine how high the stress level we will experience, especially if we don't win that day, especially if we experience loss again in the following days. Of course, that will also reduce our capital.
It is like making gambling a day job but the twist with that is that there's a chance that you bag nothing for some days or most days. Yes, the stress level is high especially when you win nothing and just keep on losing. The thought that we're having by that time is hard because you're unsure if you want to proceed or not because you just can't take your gain.

Apart from that, we also have to calculate how much capital we have to use for gambling. Of course, it's not a small amount, and if we lose in a few days, the amount that should increase will decrease because of the loss. This is why we cannot rely on gambling to make money because of loss which can come at any time.
For those that expect to win as much as $100, the capital that's needed to have isn't a joke and that should be quite high because the little you've got in gambling, the quickest you'll be out. Well, our experiences will speak for themselves and everyone can run their test on how long they'll be in depending on the capital they'll start with.
1756  Economy / Economics / Re: What to do with all guy who loss money to stock market on: May 12, 2023, 07:56:29 PM
The most important thing when you lose money whether in the stock market or crypto or any other financial products is to learn from it and use the lessons to your advantage but greed will not make people use these lessons to their advantage. I lost a lot in the stock market before I found Crypto and later decide that it is not for me, the reason is that the ease of getting in and out of trade in Crypto is swift, I don't need any broker to buy or sell or help fund my account all these steps I can do it myself. Since all market moves in Cycle, the best thing to do is wait for the pendulum to swing in your direction and flow with the tide until everything stops again
But the frustrating side here is that those owners of money that have been invested, didn't lose it with their bare hands but with someone's hands. There goes the potential mismanagement of the fund and this is what people must avoid if they can't take the result of it because you'll never know how it's going to be. Yes, there are cycles and whatnot and if I'm reading it correctly with the response of the guy, that's not acceptable. Upon telling that everybody makes shady business, that's something that he shouldn't say because the thought of people that have lost money is upon him that probably did actual shady thing with their money.
1757  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Gcash at ibang app nhack nga ba or ayaw lang aminin ng users ang pagkakamali? on: May 12, 2023, 07:25:40 PM
Gcash is already compromised I think, kase inaccept den naman nila na fault nila kaya we cannot blame the users kase ang security ng gcash ay sobrang hina talaga.

Imagine, doing your transaction without having any OTP, natalo pa ng mga crypto exchanges na sobrang higpit when it comes to OTP.

1758  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Sobrang Taas na Gas Fee today? on: May 12, 2023, 06:52:47 PM
Yes, until now sobrang taas paren ng fees even with Bitcoin, antay-antay lang talaga maging ok ang network and bumalik sa dati ang mga fees.
We might see more of this lalo na sa next bull run, sana may solution na dito ang mga congested network though marami naman option pero if top coins ang gagamitin mo, most probably you will have to deal with the higher fees, no choice talaga ang karamihan.
1759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lets Brain storm on how to limit losses... on: May 11, 2023, 10:22:24 PM
Staying too long is the same as being greedy. And that is because you're waiting for better profits and that's why you stay. I guess everyone has this problem when we can't control ourselves thinking that there's something better is about to happen. We tend not to leave the market and will just wait a moment or two until we see that opportunity flies away and we're out of it. But with that experience, it teaches us to secure our profits while we can because the market is so fast in movement and with some split seconds, anything can happen and it can compromise our profits that are visible as of the moment. So if someone don't want to experience that, learn to be grateful whenever you see profits on your dash.
1760  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you consider moving abroad? on: May 11, 2023, 09:54:45 PM
Honestly, sometimes this is my dilemma and that's to work abroad and find a better career that I think suits the likes of my passion and at the same time can help me grow in the future with my family and have a better life. But with the fast-paced motion of the world today, we can see a lot of remote opportunities can be found and we don't have to be on the actual site just to work. However, the thing is that wages will differ if you're from a developing or third-world country. This is what most employers are considering because the lifestyle and cost of living are different from where the company is based. I'm thinking of those benefits that a citizen can enjoy and have a toxic-free environment. But then, I guess I'm not yet ready for it and I'm still good with what I've got and some livelihood that I've managed to come up with my profits through Bitcoin.
