2641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big Wins of 2021 ($550,000+) on: January 19, 2022, 08:37:18 PM
well, OP is anon so he/she could have many reasons to share it here
from building reputation to making connections... maybe?

here is a good place to find like-minded people in terms of gambling.

I wonder if you are able to win hundreds of thousands of dollars, then why do you need a reputation anywhere and any connections? Why do you even need publicity? If I was capable of making that kind of money betting I wouldn't brag about it either in real life or on the forum, I can't think of any reason why I would want to do it.

It seems to me that at a certain level of income, anonymity and confidentiality is more of a minus than a plus.

If you have won a lot of money in an online casino and paid taxes on the winnings, then legalization is what you need.  You won't live in a poor neighborhood, will you?

You can be robbed by criminals there.  And in order to live in a respectable area, you need to not hide the history of your wealth.  Otherwise, you will be suspicious people and outcasts.

In addition, a person who has won a large amount of money in a casino will probably want to invest in a real business.  It is possible to open a restaurant.

So did the Georgian actor Gomiashvili, who won three times at roulette.
Investment decision would be entirely different on certain individuals but most of the time those winnings would be spent out again on a casino or most likely it would really be just
given back into the site via losses which is indeed or fact or reality that we do have today. Each does have different mindset when it comes to future plans.
What if this guy had already some business or do able to earning sufficient which for most people been aiming on the first place.
We should exclude out this topic because this doesnt suit out on the current arguments.
2642  Economy / Economics / Re: PEOPLE DURING THE PANDEMIC. on: January 19, 2022, 06:33:48 PM
The online jobs are honestly only working for the nations which are involved with the whole system of digitalization. For the people who don't really know a thing about digital space, computers or laptops they are facing probelms for the time being. I do think that pandemic is only beneficial for the people who do know how to use this opportunity, the government is dead set on carrying out the rules and implementing them but at the same time I see no improvement in the situation. I also tried doing some online work but at the end it was not really paying much for Ukraine, for countries like US they are outsourcing the workforce, they are paying the native people 1000-2000 and they are trying to find cheaper workers for 200-300 which is honestly ridiculous. The situation I not the same everywhere.

It is true that pandemic open up the idea to many people that earning online is possible and that it could give an income that is much higher the wages that we earn in corporate world. Actually, I've just known last year that having a client, working online is already working out for a how many years. But I would agree with you mate that online jobs are honestly working to those who have the ability to provide or buy a gadget that they can use to apply for a work, it only apply to those who have a knowledge already what this job is required like skill set that you can offer. At the end of the day it boils down on the only one problem, to the capability of a person to adopt this system especially if financial aspect is involve.
Lets accept that reality and this is how this world works on which you do need to adapt out on what you are currently facing on considering that this would be a competition and just like the rest who is aiming for earning

income or money specially into these hard times of pandemic situation.Capability is something that differs on each person and you wouldnt able to progress out if you dont know on how to handle up yourself
into various situations and of course we do differ in intellect which it is understandable that you do need to put effort when you are trying to achieve something.
2643  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitVest, The worst casino I have ever seen on: January 18, 2022, 11:59:32 PM

Bitvest has still the good reputation and it is still a creditable casino to play with.
It's not anymore. It was reputed until lightlord was having done his duty perfectly. But these days, he is just getting late in his every duty. Have you noticed that? He has started a new project earlier namely ElonCoin but he isn't active anymore there, left all the investors without any plan, any words on what will happen.
Anything could turn out to be bad no matter how reputable it is from years of existence and this is the risks involved in dealing with things where anything couldnt really be an assurance to remain like forever.

If lightlord wouldnt really give any clarifications of this issue then it would really be the end of this business as it would messed up the reputation
that they have built up for years.
2644  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A Newbie Needs some help :D on: January 18, 2022, 10:31:27 PM
Starting from this forum is a good start for you mate, try reading the senior posts of each sub and I'm sure you will find what you are looking for. But isn't this your way of endangering yourself and your own assets ?
You open yourself up to strangers to interact with you, so be careful or your curiosity will kill you anytime, just giving you advice, don't be offended.
Dont rely too much on what you do hear off around but its not bad to make out to filter some good advices and hints which could really be helpful for you.Im actually self learn trader/investor
and this is indeed the best place on starting up basing on hearing real users experience and apply it to yours but the one that could help you out is to have real
experience for yourself because you wouldnt able to sustain yourself if you dont have that actual experience with the market.
2645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: January 18, 2022, 08:59:11 PM
If in case there's a chance for them the advantage still favoring Canelo, it's been mentioned that age is the big factor, Alvarez still on his prime

And if we think about the timeline for the possibility of Alvarez vs GGG III, it will take about a couple of years early since Canelo has already more lineup on his plan. GGG during that time will be on his 41st or 42nd which is now considered as too veteran fighting against the prime.

The only thing I can think about if we will say we really have to see the third bout between these two is, if Canelo will lose on all his next scheduled fights.

Maybe yes, if Canelo wants to have good exposure, he can bite this call from GGG camp and let his name be back on track.

Not sure though if that's part of his plan since he already moves up and he is really eager to create another hype with his name.

Still on his prime and he still has a lot of options. If ever he loses his upcoming fight, it's all going to depend on his camp and

those interested promoters to offer him a decent amount for the next upcoming fight. Wink
I dont see any interest from Canelo on having Trilogy from GGG even though it is really that on demand and he could make out some good money on this one but still i dont see the probabilities.
He is still on his prime and he could able to hype up his name without fighting GGG again and would go into other track.
As for GGG then beating off  Murata would be looks to easy, well its just my own opinion but this is what im seeing basing in difference with their experience alone.
2646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin User Loses Record $1.1M on: January 18, 2022, 07:59:04 PM
Another ironic story. For me, it looks exactly like this. A person who owns 26 BTC falls for the bait of scammers who, allegedly on behalf of Michael Saylor, promise to double his capital. Maybe I'm too skeptical. Having a decent capital in bitcoins, it would be worth checking the information on several channels than throwing away bitcoins, counting on increasing your capital. While those 26 BTC may not have been the last in his portfolio, and for the owner is not a big loss. Huh
Not a big loss for him but we do all know that it is in most people here on this market and we could definitely say that person is just too dumb on not to know about those fake giveaway
or something like that.

Scammers could really masked out themselves anyone which is popular or something like that to take advantage out of those noobs that could potentially able to
be fooled easily.
It is really just odd that someone who do have big capital isnt aware of these things.
This do really proves out that not every whales would really be that having kind of knowledge when it comes to scams but same as you said that it is odd on someone who does have big funds dont know on how fake giveaways do existed and its been on this market for a while now and it doesnt really need up some knowledge but rather only needing up that kind of common sense on which you would able to avoid it
out if you do able to make use of it on the right way.Very feel sorry for the man who had lost that million just believing that he could really double up his capital.
Well, its a lesson learn.
2647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: January 17, 2022, 11:59:27 PM
We will never know until we will see them fight again. What if the case of GGG is different compared to Pacman? we know that Pacman was not 100% focus in boxing because he is also active in politics, and maybe that was the reason why he lose in his fight with Ugas, but GGG I think is only focus with boxing, and that is the difference.

I got your point. GGG doesn't have any activities that will ruin his mind during the preparations, unlike Manny Pacquiao that thinks he can handle multiple and various tasks at the same time and the result is, he is being upset by a challenger that is already out of the topic and competition until that boxer won a fight against Manny.

But since the chance of a third fight between GGG and Canelo has a low chance to happen, what we are ended up with is sharing speculations.
Those reasons are unacceptable yet you lost which is total lost and there would be no reasoning after that telling about those tasks and work involved externally. When you are still a boxer
you would really need to maintain out your body shape and being ready at all cost.

Trilogy against Canelo is impossible and it would be better if GGG would focus out on winning fights as he do gets older and retire on having a good record.
2648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me thinking about this NFT craze this way? on: January 17, 2022, 11:19:40 PM
I think today's NFT hype is so different from the usual.
at the start of the hype there was a lot of art in it and indeed it had artistic content which was very nice to look at.
but for now I see a lot of NFT which is just for fun and does display pictures that incidentally don't really care about the art where the important thing is that their pictures are for sale.
I guess to say manipulation is indeed very possible for now

We can't avoid this thing to happen as this new craze is now proliferated with scammers. So the likelihood that you will see crap NFT items that are up for sale will always be here.  It is up to the buyer how he will do his own due diligence to avoid being screwed. Or better yet, invest your funds to established alts or btc, rather than putting your money at this very high risk investment. I am certain a lot of these NFT collectibles will be worthless in the future.
Just like into those ICO days on which there are lots of scam or fraud projects floating around and even up to this day on which it hadnt changed up yet scammers would really be make
use of the current trends that we do have and thats why you should really be that aware and be wise on taking up things around.Dont make yourself get Fomoed and been hyped
into that certain extent on which it  would cause for you to lose money.
2649  Economy / Gambling / Re: Show Your Victory on: January 17, 2022, 10:13:07 PM
Guys, I would share my big winnings with you if I had them Grin But still the biggest one was about AU$1,000 (during two weeks or around), but I lost way more money in online casinos. This is normal for me. I know that I will lose and have no illusion about great winnings at all.
Some time I just felt like asking if someone has lost lots of money on a casino and eventually had a big win which can not be compared to what they have lost, any need to showing result? Just like the same thing you are trying to pass to us. Many of us had lost big funds in different gambling just like myself, but may decide to focus on winning more before disclosing it to anyone.
In gambling its normal to have more losses than winning. If you happen to win huge amount that can surpassed your losses then you're lucky. But we have a choice to keep it to ourselves and not to disclose it since we also dont know if someone will believe us without showing a proof, so I think its not necessary. What matter is we enjoy what we do and can cope up with losses.
RTP is there, in the best case you can only get 99% of what you have bet due to a 1% house edge. It is impossible to beat the house in long term, odds are in favor of the casino from the first date. Focusing on small winnings and never chasing loss is the key. I have also got 5mlnx hit once on house game but never ever tried to hit the same multiplier for obvious reasons. Losses will eat profit in the long term and I have seen 34 times no hit on 2x dice, imagine doing martingale on this loss series and you have to bet an insane amount to get the double prize of the initial bet.
34 lose streak on 2x odds on dice is something that is really the worst and its true that as long house edge is there then house do always win in the end.It is true that profits would really
be slowly or gradually be eaten up by loss no matter how big your winnings would be but it would really be still ending up on the same fate if you wont tend to
stop it midway or be aware on taking up profits. Showing off victory isnt bad as long you wouldnt make yourself exposed in terms of real identity then
i dont see for it to be a problem.
2650  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want your happiness. on: January 17, 2022, 09:08:18 PM
Failure is not the end of everything, learn from the failures that have been passed so that you can learn from previous mistakes. A trader must experience failure too because not everything goes as desired. That means we have to train our skills and also our mentality in trading in order to make a profit. yes, that's right, trading is not that easy and requires good skills and knowledge in it. Not a few fail and finally give up. We are all in the same situation where markets go up and down and it is our job to manage our assets well, so each has its own constraints on the assets owned.
Every or each one of us did really come into this point or experience that we are almost able to give up just because of those noob mistakes but to think about reality that mistakes cant really be avoided no matter how good or skillful you are because this market is really that unpredictable and there's no way that you could able to get rid of it but with due experience and skills you would able to lessen out the risk which people should
really focus on at least and stopping isnt something a solution for you to have because mistakes are learning stones for you to take and you shouldnt really stress out yourself
and make directly decision on quitting.
2651  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the best ways to choose a casino on: January 17, 2022, 07:59:32 PM
I think the best way is to really inquire here in the community. Users are constantly sharing their experiences here so you would definitely have an idea in every casino you are eyeing to try, also you can do cross referencing with different review sites. But, I must say that even with all these available information, you must know and learn how to discern and screen such information so you could also make up your own stand regarding each sites.
The OP created the thread here indicating that he's asking the community a question. Not everyone can really filter very valid information. There will be a lot of confusing information. Doing his research isn't entirely sure what he's looking for either. The problem is in the decision to bet in the casino. If he only asked but in the end, no decision was made and he was prepared to take the risk, then it would be futile. The OP needs to decide and try to bet as little as possible to avoid scams. In my opinion, if you don't try, what can be concluded?
I guess by now the user who started this thread would have decided on the best casino to. place a bet on reading the several suggestions and advice from other users and have done some extra research, to me personally I will advise op to flow some of the reputable gambling sites suggested by the members of this forum and also try to do a google search to know what the review says about the site before making a decision.
Searching only via on this forum should  suffice but if op isnt excluding those fiat casinos out there then its up to his choice but speaking with crypto casinos then this would
be the best place for searching up and no other place on net that will really be having those real time and honest reviews from the community but this place alone.
2652  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 15, 2022, 09:32:34 PM
In Roobet's post we only see big multiplier wins, let's imagine how much he lost to get big profits?
Of course people will hide it and it can be more than a big multiplier or even more.
What is clear is that when we win with a multiplier the feeling of emotion will be slightly cured.

It is not only happening in roobet but almost in all casino, it is simply a common marketing strategy.
I would not even dare to imagine how much is lost by other player especially a whale because.
As someone who also like to gamble, I would prefer to see big wins instead of big loses by player because it is more fun to see big wins especially if the big wins are recorded.
This is why gambling business is profitable on which most gamblers do suffer losses and on the time that they had won significant amounts then those anxiety and rage/upsets would really
be eradicated and would continue to play.It is true that it is somewhat give out some boost into those times on where they do show up winnings into other people specially
if they are get noticed or in headline or something like that then those losing emotions woudl be wiped away and would continue to play no matter what.
2653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Changing my Thoughts And Behaviors. on: January 15, 2022, 07:49:14 PM
~
You're kind of putting too much thought into Bitcoin, OP. Maybe take a step back and take a break from any crypto-related activities that you've been doing.  I would love to talk to someone about Bitcoin and all, but I never once thought of not being interested in non-crypto stuffs. You never want Bitcoin to be the next "skynet", lol.
Though this isn't change to my financial behavior, knowledge and everything you mentioned at the last line, I got more sleep as I never bothered to go out to my remittance center to just send money to some of my money-begging relatives overseas.

Take everything should be in balance on which you dont really let other things been affected through your current state of being too obsess with Bitcoin.I know it isnt bad but be sure on everything be in control.
Dont let it would change up your behavior and you should mind off on dealing on a normal way.
If you do notice that there is something that isnt right then your common sense and will will surely make you aware that it does need to be cut-off.
Make everything  balanced and deal off things according to interest but not on crossing out borders.
2654  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks will die crypto will take over in 5-10 years on: January 14, 2022, 11:39:19 PM
I am sure that banks will not be destroyed, because banks play a big role in a country and even in the world, so it is impossible for banks to be eliminated even in the decades to come. in China alone crypto is eliminated how crypto can take over banks.
The most probable and reasonable thing is that crypto will be bigger than it is now, but it cannot replace the role of banks in the world.

Of course. It was never about "beating" banks, but rather becoming an alternative to the existing banking system. Crypto/Blockchain tech is decentralized, so governments won't allow something they can't control to take over the entire mainstream economy. Fiat will continue to decline, but that won't mean the end of banks. On the contrary, banks will become more powerful as they manipulate the economy to their own will. This will happen after the introduction of CBDCs (digital Fiat currencies to be exact). Set yourself forward 5-10 years from now, and everything else will probably look the same as it is right now. Crypto will be bigger and stronger for sure, but that's it. As long as decentralization prevails, nothing else matters. Just my opinion Smiley
It is just people do really go into those certain extent on having impressions that crypto could really beat up banks which is really a very wrong mindset to have because
no matter crypto would progress on but still it would really remain no matter what which is fiat.Government wouldnt really let these things to happen and this centralized
system would remain for a while and wouldnt tend out to be replaced by something which cant be controlled. Both would co-exist
even if we do talk about forever.  Grin
2655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting or casino? on: January 14, 2022, 10:57:38 PM
I also tried gambling in casinos and sports betting, both is interesting in its own way. For me personally casino games are a bit more fun and I tend to be luckier here than with betting. In really big tournaments I still like to wager a bit but with relatively small amounts. In the casino I spend much more money. Compared to you however this are just peanuts. Losing 7k USD in minutes is a lot for me. I don't really know your financial situation so maybe it's not hurting you that much. After such big swings it might be better to lower your gambling budget a bit. Casino games are still fun when gambling with less.
It does have different market thats why it would really be ending up on different approach because we know that casinos are luck based games and sports betting is for strategic
which means that you would really be having options on which one you would tend to engage on and tend to stay up on what you do prefer the most.
Since we do have these options then its serving out different types of gamblers. Why would need to choose if you could deal both things
according to your likings?
2656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want your happiness. on: January 14, 2022, 10:26:50 PM
I started trading crypto from a small capital. enter the stock exchange and then run out because continues to decrease in value. it happened almost a year. maybe almost the same as your experience.
but after I learned, I was wrong in determining the asset for day trading or short term. as well as feelings of panic easily when market movements are very volatile. I decided to stop for half a year. then return with a larger capital.
I tried to fix my mistake. learned about short trades from several communities and I'm making continued profits.
I think you should find the weakness of the trade that you have been doing. find the solution and you can return to the market for your profit.
Finding our weakness and trying to provide solutions can help us in determining how we can be able to gain profit. Trading may not be for everyone but if we keep trying to study and learn it somehow we will be able to win on it maybe in short or long term. Before I was so scared in trading and just wanted to hold my investment longer but once I started trading it will make you feel too curious and will find ways to make your moves or decisions right.
That's right, even though trading is very risky if we have a strong desire and keep trying to learn it's not impossible that we can be successful in trading,
everything needs a process and trading is the same so it's better to keep learning
But the problem here is that majority of us doesnt really like to wait up for that long which simply means that most of them do really rush up and this is where mistakes do happen.
Dont rush up specially in trading but instead you should mind on learning up things along the way. This isnt how thing works and you wanted to be and once you do realize
on how things needed to be treated up then you will surely able to handle up yourself well into this very unpredictable market.
2657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 14, 2022, 09:39:20 PM

They even have a replacement in Joseph Agbeko which Butler did not approved though.

I understand the decision, Butler won't be wasting his time and effort to fight a fighter that does not hold the belt, Casimero is his target as he wants to be a champion, so a replacement is bad for him as he also cannot guarantee himself that he can beat Agbeko. As both are patient for this fight to happen, we just have to be patiently waiting as well.
There should be no more excuse for Casimero, he have to fight Butler if he wants to fight Casimero, he should be more healthy this time which is very important for a boxer. Let’s wait patiently for their future plans and hope that Casimero will still fight Butler, this is actually a good match so let’s also wait for the decision of WBO.

If he has the same excuse then most likely he won't be lucky that time, the belt will be stripped and will be given to a new champion. If they'll give that to Butler then we might see a Butler vs Inoue/Donaire afterward for a unification fight.
Casimero is pretty much aware of that and i dont believe that there would be further excuse after this one but well if there's something happens on that time then it cant really be avoided or having
no choice of getting stripped which it would be a bit of a shame if he lost his belt on that particular manner but im pretty much sure that it wont happen next time.
For Butler then he wouldnt have choice but to fight against that replacement and then face on Casimero later on.Yes, this sounds sucks but he have to deal with it.
2658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do hide satoshi Nakamoto himself? on: January 14, 2022, 08:59:31 PM
Satoshi Nakamoto the founder of Bitcoin is the famous name in this century. His revolutionary invention facilitate world's economic currency system. He is our pride. But why do he hide himself? Reputation is supposed to roll at his feet. Many people come to the campaign claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto.
There are lots of Faketoshis around trying to claim out that theyre Satoshi but still failed to give out some solid proofs.Okay lets talk about Satoshi itself why he hid himself into the shadows.
First of all we dont even know if hes still alive or not but to mind off on how revolutionary the creation that he had made then it would be still putting his life in danger considering
that he made out something which is totally opposing centralazation which simply means or shows off that government would be the main enemy and we know on whats
next with that.
2659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: January 13, 2022, 11:48:49 PM
Just curious, what was response by Stake Bitcointalk representatives aka Steve, Stunna?  Didn't find the proper response by OP, hope all mentioned issues are fixed. Btw, he can post in Stake forum too..
Yep, he could post up on these places.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2072589.0
https://stakecommunity.com/

We didnt really able to see those admins/owners responses when it comes to this yet it cant really be denied
that they do really have some mistakes on here.
Probably he has been banned on regular stake forum, sometimes moderators keep banning "annoying" threads there to avoid clear mixed official content. Anyways let's wait for proper response by official Stake representatives.
So far we havent seen any response from Stake them in regards to this issue whether they do make out some private negotiations about the issue or had been settled out quietly without
let the community do know on such contact but it would be good to look at if they would really be making out some clarifications or clearing up the issue and tell on what really
happen because if they dont then this would really leave out some bad impressions but in most case this is actually a users fault.
Unfortunately Stake still has not made any contact with me regarding my complaint. They also failed to respond twice to the third party complaint service who tried their best to get in contact with Stake, sadly without any success.
Have you contact Stunna? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=81292

or made out some post on here: https://stakecommunity.com/

Stake should have at least be attentive on handling out complaints and issues.
2660  Economy / Economics / Re: Can civilization revert to a barter system on: January 13, 2022, 11:30:21 PM
Come to think alone that technology advancement do really flies fast and everything is gradually turns out to be digitalized already which means that we cant really turn into those times on where barter system is on the

works because talking about precision and accessibility and time of execution times is much more faster or way more better then it is just dumb that we would go back into a system where it is done manually.

I dont get the point on considering that we would really be going into those old system which most people been thinking off on how to make things way more faster and better.
The problem is that rapid and even very fast technological advances are not accompanied by the readiness of some people who still want to be in the old system so they don't want to move from their place even though the demands should be seen that they inevitably have to follow civilization in order to not left behind, and this is what causes some people to lack interest in seeing the future because they are comfortable in the past
This is true on which there are still people who are stuck in the past and wont tend to improve out themselves on trying out to adapt on whats the current system the world is in.
They do tend to stick on whats on the past and wont welcome on  any changes or advancement that is really currently happening and thats the hardest part in talks of full adoption
or integration of things and we couldnt  really just let ourselves get stuck with the old system which it is not really that worth nor sensible on continuing if there is
something which is more better and more faster and secure.
