that they do really have some mistakes on here.

The main issues are not on public threads of promoted forum content, so it is quite natural to see this reacting from moderators. Hopefully, top management of the Stake team will consider answering the mentioned questions as soon as possible.

With regards to that, no choice but to change plans and try alternatives. We should not wait for their actions now and you have to move forward.

This is obvious I think you should just mark any email of such as spam for the sake of preventing further news latter from them. I know who hard and painful it might be when you are trying hard on something and something else comes in between to disrupt it. Maybe the Stake team had not gotten the clear view of your complain. Just stay patient and wait for reply from them. Simple!

If you are still aware that it is on spam folder then you would definitely be looking on checking it out as long that addiction is within you then you would definitely be looking after with those emails.

Addiction is something that is really hard to control and if you arent really that serious on quitting or stopping then these simple things would easily poke up your interest once again.

Stake might have some mistake on here but as a personal awareness you are aware that you excluded but still you do make out deposit?

A block won't resolve as OP wants it to come from stake themselves. It won't be solved if he's hard on it despite the suggestions of everyone that he should have the initiative of blocking them to avoid any emails from them any longer.

Yeah, if there's already a suggestion coming from stake and from everyone who's concerned about him. It's understandable the frustration that he has but there's nothing much everyone and him can do with it.

Nice suggestion but did you know that i  used gmail and i mark some messages as spam and even mute them but the problem still insist as i keep receiving the same emails. That is true, there is no perfect in this world because even the best email provider which is google also make a mistake. Props to the op for letting the stake team know the problem and for sure they already fixed it by now because its an important matter.

It wont make sense to exclude yourself and still get promotional emails at the same time but if you are really committed to stop gambling, you wont get tempted no matter what. Being responsible is the only way to enjoy gambling  to the fullest.

Gmail not really the best email service provider in terms of privacy and security, I used to hope protonmail is still the best but Google is letting all their services for free which builds network effect and everyone started to beleive they also need to have one. I don't know stake has unsubscribe features to such kind of mails then we never get them if they don't have they should have it as soon as possible.

It has nothing to do about changing the terms. Stake didn't change or modify it but rather, they found a system problem error or something that's why OP is still receiving emails from them. OP can just move on about this but he wants a clear response from Stake.

Whatever temptations he is encountering like receiving emails from the casino, it should not bother him if he seriously wants to change his lifestyle. He needs strong determination not to be tempted by the things around him. At the end of the day, it is on his decision if he wants to change his path for the betterment of himself.

That's what is called by real responsible gambling where we are as the player who responsible for ourselves. We should try to ignore anything related to gambling once we declare that we want to stop. OP decide to use the self exclusion feature provide by the casino which is a good start. If he is still receiving some promotional emails from the casino, means that there is something wrong with the feature and it is a mistake from the casino. However, OP also made a mistake by creating new account after receiving the promotional email to play again and lost some money then try to ask for a refund. The most questioned thing in this thread is, will OP complain about the promotional email if he win a lot of money?

Let me explain the situation im in with Stake.com,
I am a recovering gambling addict with an account at Stake due to problem gambling.

This account has been closed for a long time and they still kept spamming me with promotional and bonus emails, even though they were fully aware of my problems.

I have contacted live support and the legal department, and they have admitted their was a error in their database allowing to send promotional emails to problem gamblers, they have let me know they have fixed it after my messages.



Unfortunately Stake is not taking any responsibility regarding my issue and will blame me for their mistakes.

I hope there is someone noticing the pain Stake is causing to some of the problem gamblers out there, and I still hope Stake will solve this issue with me.

Block the stake email on the mailbox, seems a simple enough solution though some mailbox designs are just really old and poor functionality.  Does appear to be an oversight to continue or to not remove a name from a mailing list but often the two things are not the same details, some of the list not being account holders or duplicates etc.  I doubt there was any active attempt to lure people on a cease list.

on the other hand you also have to know that stakes are business people and we can't make anything or order anything, promotion is something that is natural and not excessive either.
the most important thing is how the person who gets the email (in this case the OP) reacts to it.
addiction is the personal fault of the gambler as for the gambling house I don't think it has anything to do with it because they are businessmen and their source of income there

Its business but they should have at least followed on what the user had requested on when it comes to those kind of blocking or self exclusion because this is really part of their responsibility

That's not a big deal anyways, you just need to understand with them for now until they fix up everything and when this is done , I believe they won't be spamming you with these anymore
