2661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto = Shiba Inu on: August 24, 2022, 08:09:58 AM
So you are making this as appreciation to shiba Inu a memecoin but gonna use Satoshi Nakamoto as also a memecoin?  For sure he will be hurt a lot since youll gonana put his name( although nickname) to shame. Bitcoin is Satoshi's creation and that is an innovative project compared to a lot of sprung new ones like shiba inu. Also you need to put liquidity and valuation to your project to make it work. Shiba did put some to make it go alive its not simple as what you think it is.
2662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra Luna Updates on: August 24, 2022, 06:53:07 AM
When i see terra luna i feel very very angry in my mind 😡😡😡 but this is my bad luck why i am invested in terra luna. My portfolio totally gone after terra crash.
Probably one of the worst investment too I made.  I get hyped by Luna crash knowing it could somehow recovered but instead got a loss.  But I let it be a learning experience for everyone that even a top notch project arr all safe.  Well,  it shows that Do Kwon still trying to revive his luna project but surely it will be hard for him with such mess it create for sure investors arent blind and stupid to throw a lot of money into it.
2663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best portfolio for a $30k fund? on: August 24, 2022, 05:19:36 AM
Hey guys, just wanna ask, what do you think is the best crypto portfolio for a $30k fund?

Cheers!
Thats a high value budget. I think you need to disperse it to a lot of allocation like put some on btc and different altcoins preferably major coins and tokens.

For me if Im gonna budget that I'll allocate $10k to btc then the remaining $15k to major alts and $5k to new spring projects like early bird tokens to new ones. Its up to you how to allocate but this is my just suggestion distribution.
2664  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Education about Bitcoin at Bitcointalk on: August 24, 2022, 03:33:27 AM
A big advantage of MEW is it can be used also for Altcoins like Binance Coin or Avalanche Coin because of same technology. Right now, I have only 70$ but MEW offline seemed to be a good sulution.
Yes myetherwallet is designed for altcoins.  Can I know what tokens those worth 70$,  cause you might interpret that or seen the value based on etherscan or somewhere showing its value.  But you need to check on the exchange itself the current value of the tokens.  It could be worth more or less.  Some value shows but its fake so better really look into exchange.
2665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it profitable to invest in ApeCoin(APE)?? on: August 23, 2022, 09:57:00 AM
Even thought ApeCoin exists on the Ethereum blockchain, is it profitable? Huh Huh
Apecoin is the same with other altcoins.  Not sure what is the utility of apecoin aside from can be used to buy their land and nft on ape ecosystem but probably youll only get to earn from it with its value which is quite low for now since the market crash happened.  So waiting together with other altcoins is the best thing to do.  Or if there are staking program for apecoin,  do staking while holding at least you earn something.
2666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Solana be the next Ethereum??? on: August 23, 2022, 08:27:57 AM
Solana quickly became a favorite among many investors, Does it became the next Ethereum Huh Huh Huh
It doenst go down because the cut of the pie of their tokens are mostly hold by big whales and Sam. Even a lot of retailers have sold solana,  the price wouldnt plummeted easily,  since of the bigger holders just chilling and let their shares double and increase with thr dumped.

If talking about product or network,  I assume you see solana gad multiple break down or crash network reason to halt it for long time which isnt good if I am an investors.  Showing how centralized it is and can be control by someone.
2667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years ago mined 50 Bitcoin just moved on: August 23, 2022, 06:30:24 AM
Wow maybe the owner didnt realize that he has a bitcoin that mined before and only think of it when he saw news on bitcoin and its price now.  He is now a millionaire instantly.

I wonder why they're still using an older address(the ones that start with 1 or 3), and not a new one (the ones that start with bc1).
Thats legacy supported or segwit I think.  I think its fine,  even a lot of users still using some of those btc type of wallets.  Even exchange still has legacy supported deposit address.
2668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decision time on: August 22, 2022, 12:47:17 PM
I have a plan to buy 10,000 Doge coin but at the same time I cant take my eye of Fantom, if you are in my shoe which one would you go for and why? Also has anyone heard about doge chain project? A friend talked about this and I want to ask.
For me you either pick fantom instead of dogecoin.  It is an L1 with a lot of potentials and currently down a lot plus there are things a lot to do on fantom than simply holding a non utility dogecoin memecoin.  Aside from trading,  you can only used that as store of value,  if you are a fun blockchain user then youll find a project that can heavily attached to a lot of use cases and environment such as gaming,  finance,  defi, and many more.
2669  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be wary of crypto/blockchain bridges! on: August 22, 2022, 10:16:09 AM
I wouldn't go that far, but I would also not rule out this possibility. One example can be N.Korea's state hackers, for which all of us are enemies.
And even if it's not them, do you really expect the hackers be nice people who care about their victims?! Then they would notify the team, not steal people's money!
Some hackers are indeed doing that for the sake of finding loopholes on security. There are some cases,  such as some funds or corresponding money have been returned to the project in exchange of bounty.  Like on Optimism and nomad.  Not sure to others,  maybe it depends on the hacker's goal.

But I believe some didnt only doing that for money cause if its then they are reallt brutal people.
2670  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Change Bitcointalk Account Email and Password? on: August 22, 2022, 09:41:32 AM
Staked Bitcoin address is what will be used to prove ownership of the said account and if you edited your staked bitcoin address with another staked bitcoin address but you also proved that you have access/verified that you own the previous stake bitcoin address then yes it is possible to edit it or add both of it.
Oh I see. Maybe thats the only thing to prove ownership.  Hence we can also stake eth message is that also applicable aside from bitcoin sign message? As back up in any case of incident to loss access to your btc wallet or been compromise as well?
2671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How should i diversify my crypto portfolio? on: August 22, 2022, 09:07:40 AM
How should i diversify my crypto portfolio?

I feel like im gambling by going all in one crypto like ETH and the drops are hitting me very hard with its high volatility compared to BTC
Then pick other coins and tokens with also have a good stance and potential.  Always diversifying your portfolio is good way to expand your asset in a much classic manner.  Well like the old saying dont put your money on one basket. Put it on others,  theres plenty of fish there and not just eth alone.  If I were you I'll look into low cap top 100 projects. Youll find a good ome there for sure.
2672  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be wary of crypto/blockchain bridges! on: August 22, 2022, 06:09:59 AM
There are some really overlook how the security of their bridge set up. Its not bad to have a bridge but projects should always and prioritize security to the highest level.  Cause lying down money on bridges are probably huge and must be protected.  Its sad that $1.4b falls on the hand of exploiters alone.  I wonder if the suspects are the same on all those incident.  If yes,  then he must be really an asshole for taking up people's money just like that.
2673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on Ethereum Classic (ETC) with the upcoming ETH merge? on: August 21, 2022, 12:09:12 PM
However, ETC is good if you add it to your portfolio for hodling, not for speculation. Don't forget ETC is available for leverage trading on many exchanges and there is risk of liquidation if you are gambling and have bad management.
Holding yes.  But Im looking for a sweet gains if ever, so Id think if there will be a good news before entering to it.  Yes I know and saw some gains in the recent weeks due to the speculation and hype and thats all things happening actually.  Ive seen this happened on other projects when there are news on upcoming event on it.
2674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on Ethereum Classic (ETC) with the upcoming ETH merge? on: August 21, 2022, 10:53:01 AM
It seems like a low price and low development. But with the merger, the ETH miners are going to move to ETC. This will give it more hashpower and protect it from double spend 51% attacks that have happened in the past. It's an interesting token for me and could be a fertile playground for the next bull market or a dumpster fire like BCH. I am curious what others think of Ethereum Classic. I don't hear it talked about much, anymore.
Maybe it is but like you said theres not much development within the network.  The sudden rise on etc and breaking its 200ma is really something we should speculate as hype since the eth are gonna do a migration and people are skeptical about whats about to happen.  Like miners should support eth pow or totally shifted to etc instead.  Its a matter of choice and were still close to that event and people are still clueless which path to take on.  Considering technicalities and possible outcome of eth pos,  there will be massive speculations on this matter.
2675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin becomes generally adopted, will 21million btc be enough for everyone? on: August 21, 2022, 09:55:23 AM
I think the quantity isnt matter even 20billion people or more shares it.  The important is its value in thr future even a 0.01 could be a 10k usd each and there would still be enough divisible by the users.  Supply and demand affects the price and utility so a fraction of btc could be worth alot even not 1 whole piece of btc.
2676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any good quality M2e project we can earn free tokens for before it star on: August 21, 2022, 08:12:28 AM
As Title:
Is there any good quality M2e project we can earn free tokens for before it starts to launch?
If anyone knows, please let me know
Thank you
As much as there are a lot of list of m2e or move to earn.  For sure there will be catch on those projects. The very first nft generated a good stance but later on depleted due to some reasons of legality or big issues.  The following projects did the same too,  hype then go down or fall later on.  So I dont recommend any p2e or m2e type of projects cause cant sustain it for so long especially when the users are increasing.
2677  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Change Bitcoin Account Email and Password? on: August 21, 2022, 07:38:54 AM
In addition, user should sign a message too. How to sign a message? and Stake your Bitcoin address here. You can use it to recover your account.
In any case,  that a user changed email and password does the staked bitcoin address should be edited also?  What if a sudden hack occur and the hacker change even the email and can access the email of the victim.  Does changing email,  have some verification on that email saved?  Or the only way to prove authenticity is the bitcoin signed message.  I just read a lot of posts that they are hacked so the only remedy here is that process.
2678  Other / Meta / Re: The forum needs 2FA on: August 20, 2022, 09:12:41 AM
I would be love to be getting the 2FA option here on the Forum and i guess others also would be like the idea of it.
Means maybe less Account hacking would be going on then and it would be harder to get Accounts from Malwares and Phishing.
Also i think the Account recovery would be more easier , but i dont know .

Just my 2 cents
Me too.  Exchange has 2fa for the sole purpose of security hence having 2fa wouldnt not be an issue here if theymos really wanted to implement it.  It has certain advantage such as avoiding being hacked that easily since they will be needing such code before accessing such account that happened due to malware and phishing links.

Some wouldnt wanted this or not necessary but an additional layer of security wouldnt hurt at all.
2679  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Taking the awareness of crypto and Btt forum to the youths on: August 20, 2022, 08:19:39 AM
You are doing a great job OP. Even though sharing some knowledge could lead also to rejection and non believers.  I am sharing too on my friends whom dont have knowledge with it and so far only some of them believes me until now.  Well they only get attentive when the hype on axie infinity roam around the globe.  Thats where they saw that cryptocurrency has a nice application to real world.  I am looking forward to blockchain dominance and how it can help us even more than simply a financial alternative without much restriction.
2680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of pancake telegram account on: August 20, 2022, 07:50:09 AM
Ok i am not sure it is official pancake telegram being hacked or it was fake account from the beginning. I mean it has almost 238k followers. Now telegram showing scam along with it. And it's latest message asks for synchronizing your wallet for fixing issue which is clearly scam. So whatever the case beware of it.
Thats the best thing telegram did actually.  The group is surely a fake account whose an older group for other project or such group which changed their name into pancakeswap official telegram.  Well,  they could change and imitate the format but the record or the tagged as scam will be there for community sake. So dont ever try to deal or negotiate when you already saw the tagged.
