1881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where Do Lost Assets or Coins Go? on: February 21, 2023, 07:58:59 AM
Where do lost assets or coins go? Whenever I try to make cryptocurrency transactions on any of the platforms, there is always a prompt before and even after I have imputed the address to double-check and ensure that the network matches the withdrawal or deposit address and that the platform supports it, as failure to do so may result in the loss of your coin.
Where do lost assets or coins go? And can they ever be recovered? Has anyone had an experience with this?
Since they have the an option of network to choose from even though evm addresses are the same. Probably they are coded to get lost or proceed to somewhere default storage. Obviously they put the network options to have a consistent and systematic transaction. Maybe a wrong specified network is detected or isnt on their program means you are wrong.

Same like on metamask. They are a lot of evm L1 that you need to change network first before using it to another dapp which is compatible with it. You cant proceed with the said dapp, so maybe if you made a network error here on Binance it wont proceed, if yes maybe a punishment for human error and that statement of loss would be a penalty.

Not sure though, but very good question, maybe we can try that using small amount and see what would happen.
1882  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is your profit taking strategy? on: February 20, 2023, 03:27:52 PM
Just wondering what everyone else does when it comes to taking profits?
Ive failed on taking much profit last bull run so my goal now is typically hold my major alts and btc and stake some of my stakeable asset while waiting for target price to sell. Its really a hard discipline if you are a long term holder, but I am sometimes cashing out my asset if I need some extra funds for my leisure and trips. Or if needed emergency money.
1883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Convert USDC to USD and Withdraw Monies on: February 20, 2023, 09:25:08 AM
I looked up Binance but they have loads of bad reviews with people saying they can access their monies for withdrawal.
Im not sure if via transfer to USD cause Ive never tried that one and only using p2p transactions and directly to my own account in bank. Why not tried that, and instead of usd use your own malaysian bank or remittance supported. Usually if you did your kyc it will be a smooth deal always on p2p as long as you pick those legit buyers and sellers.
1884  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Common Mistakes Made by New Crypto Investors on: February 20, 2023, 08:42:39 AM
Never share any personal information and never connect your crypto wallet to any untrusted applications.
Most crimes happened online and it will occur in the least you expect it. Ive been hearing a lot of hacks and scam everywhere where their asset was transferred or stolen. Yeah this is happening on non custodial wallet so its kinda bit scary. It does mean that someone connect to a malicious link or application resulting to his compromise wallet. This should be wary by all the categories above since it could really happen at you. So avoid these links that you arent familiar and always check the site 3x or more cause you could be deceive by just a letter error or typo.
1885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becoming a Bounty Manager on: February 20, 2023, 07:44:46 AM
What caught my attention is the presence of managers with new memberships or low membership ranks without having prior experience in running campaigns or having a positive history of trust in any way.
Thats probably either the account is made by the company itself or known contact to a member of this forum. Usually some active member here could make their ways to finding some project that are indeed needed someone here which that someone isnt familiar of the reputation and ranking here.

Some of them are managing more than one campaign at the same time, and I wondered how these newcomers to the forum were able to enjoy the provision of campaign managing services, and if they were veteran members using new accounts, why do they not disclose this or how entrepreneurs can find them and Trust them on this same basis?
They are probably active outside the forum and if you arent aware, there are more ways to do campaign and much modern using social platforms. Ive been noticing them increasing btw. I doubt that they are veterans member creating account cause that would be a hard task and retaining his position as an old member, someone would noticed if ever.

1886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Core vs Ethereum on: February 19, 2023, 10:58:32 AM
Before the recent lunch of core it was speculated that its value would be half of that of Bitcoin which is potentially greater than Ethereum although cores value after lunch was very low compared to their speculation some mining sources say that its value will be greater than that of Ethereum of Which is not promising with the present market cap
Ofcourse that would be an initial dream of those influencers who got probably free drops from promoting it. They would shill hard for this when this comes out. Also there are too many airdropper of this coin so expect a lot of dump from it. When my friend show me its value, of course with that kind of supply Ive already knew it would not be the real valuation since more of its circulated supply came from free mining on their app. Thats a far competition versus eth.
1887  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ego and too much confidence are dangerous in investing. on: February 19, 2023, 10:32:43 AM
2021 I started my journey here in crypto, I was lucky because I was able to invest in other cryptos before it went all the way up. NFTs, P2E games, airdrops and hyped shitcoins lol. Of course I earned a lot and since it's my first time I became very confident thinking I'm so smart lol Grin. I have more money to spare, so I end up investing left and right carelessly thinking i will earn more but the truth is majority of those i have invested are lost money because of bear market, scam projects and rugpulled shitcoins. I think I am not for crypto Sad.
Maybe had the same effect. It sucks that greed really came out of us when we wanted more. But time cant be swayed so better accept that and move on. But of course when given an opportunity again I would boy hesitate to take profits all those I have loss in the bull market. We just need to be wise and not so greedy this time afterall the market is just going up and down.
1888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: want To participate in bounties management: on: February 19, 2023, 08:12:54 AM
Hello everyone this is Realking. i need your opinion it has been more than 1 year I am working in different bounties campaigns. everyone wants to learn something new and grows up and with the passage of time and I wants it too. so, I  decided to start my work with bounties management teams. Please you people guide me is this is even possible? if yes then how can i start it?
Thats gonna be tough for you but who knows. Everyone must start at the bottom. You could improve your marketing strategy to get clients. Chances are those who are long time bounty managers will have an edge here since they are already got experience and the clients probably are looking for those who have and got experience already. Maybe there are some who will but be careful as well cause it might be scammers.
1889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becoming a Bounty Manager on: February 19, 2023, 07:58:03 AM
hello
I have some questions about being a Bounty Manager Where can I find Project Winners?
How to contact them If anyone knows, please provide the link
Project winners? You mean great projects for bounty? Usually its a myth. Only few projects are solid when it comes to bounty and majority of them are scam or low budget project.

If you are looking for great bounty managers, just visit service section almost all of the quality one are there. Like Hhampuz, Royse777, Yahoo, and many experience ones.
1890  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advantage and disadvantage of cryptocurrency on: February 19, 2023, 07:29:58 AM
I can see the advantage of cryptocurrency as less hassle and very convenient to do some transactions. Not on everything but probably makes the hard process easier.

Also you could learn some ways on how to earn online, and manage your skills on doing trading. Many ways on how to benefit on cryptocurrency like savings or foing staking that gives you higher % than banks.

What I dont like are the growing pain the in ass of scammers which literally abusing the wonderful effect on blockchain just to earn money.
1891  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My Experience with bitcoin on: February 18, 2023, 05:31:17 PM
In every story there will always be a bad side of it but there are some good news or will happened to us. You lucky to surpass those nightmares and experience youve gained among the way. Bitcoin is just started to bloom. Maybe some say its too late now, but as future progress in terms of technology, there will be times that mass community will turn into blockchain and thats gonna be sooner or later especially in the current era.
1892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where Can I Get NFT Breaking News App? on: February 18, 2023, 11:12:08 AM
Does anyone know a good app that publishes breaking NFT news? I'd appreciate knowing about them. Thanks.
Icodrops. They had a telegram news, or site that updating their recent finding on crypto and even coindesk. Yes they are active both of these platforms. Usually they are sharing these news sometimes sponsored and sometimes on their own accord but they are literally updated.

But why not be active on Twitter cause usually they are active on sharing, most of my updated news are there firsthand tweets.
1893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AVAX discussion on: February 18, 2023, 09:48:22 AM
Despite believing that Altcoins are mostly high-risk investments, I think AVAX is a pretty solid one. Looking at this project I can see that it's evolving and growing so I feel like it's a good coin to buy.
But it's still an altcoin that can go to sh*t at any moment like Luna. So I want to hear your opinion crypto bros, what do you think about investing in AVAX?
They have a different approach comparing avax and luna. Plus the devs of avalanche are pretty serious on building ad they have continuously working on development of their platform. Most projects are there to display how succesful they are but seeing the works and codes done, we will see whose doing more for a project. Ive been an avalanche holder since then and I will continue to hold my shares (stake/delegate) for the betterment of this project.
1894  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be calm and let things flow. on: February 17, 2023, 09:30:57 AM
Or we could just enjoy and relax while we are learning here. Some people make it so serious to be here, that even the concept of patience have been forgotten. Most newbies questions nowadays are about getting into higher rank and merits, since they are excited or curious what does it feel like to be on these levels. Lets just instinct take over, the moment we let it flow naturally they could even sense potential merits along the way without even realizing thay they improving slowly.
1895  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you manage risk in crypto currency on: February 17, 2023, 09:10:46 AM
Please I want to know the risk management in cryptocurrency an how to calculate them for both investor and trader.
Im not sure if this can be specifically quantified for risk assesment it will always depend on your budget. If you are a trader whose fund for example is $100, and you dont want to get burn a lot. Then use that to buy a particular stock. Now if its value goes down beyond your  loss assumption let say 20% only then at $80 just sold it. If thats your allowable money to risk with. Depends on your apetite actually and time for this kind of loss. But if you are an investor, you should not look into prices like traders do cause you are doing long term. Even it goes down more than 50% just leave it. You are investing for long term goal and dont mind the drop.
1896  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If it was you on: February 17, 2023, 07:59:32 AM
Between future and spot trading which will you opt in for.
No questions spot trading. The only direction or concept youll think is youll gain if the market goes up and youll lose if the market goes down. Its easy, and the only parameter youll think is how good your token being watch here. While on future you can gain in both directions but predicting the market is somehow bit different and risky. Some might be good at profiting on this but required a lot of skills and knowledge. Not really sure if those parameters they are using work on their end cause market is unpredictable anyways. To be safe spot trading especially for newbies out there.
1897  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Identification of scammers? on: February 17, 2023, 07:18:10 AM
Am a beginner and I was telling a friend about this forum and it's beneficiaries, but it all turns that he said it all a scam so I want to know how to identify scammers and if there is any how can we know them as a beginner.
The forum isnt a scam but some of the projects basically in altcoins that launches or being introduced here are scams. Not generalizing it, but typically you could determine if a project is a scam based on their presentation ans moreover on your deep research about it. From ground roots like website, team profiles, and etc.

You could also see some scams being busted herr if you go to this particular thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0
1898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any successful ICOs or NFTs lately that ran bounty marketing here? on: February 17, 2023, 06:37:48 AM
I am trying to determine if it still makes sense to use Bounty for promotion of crypto projects - has there been any successful projects that actually used Bounty and then awarded bounty participants? In any niche, DNFs , Gaming, ICOs any type of fundraising campaigns
Maybe but not here anymore on forum. I believe most good bounty or promotions are outside of it now. Maybe before crypto started to bloom, forum is the best placr to market the project but now there are plenty of social platform that effectively use to earn from rewards or community promotions. Like coingecko, they have now marketing promotions and give airdrops to users on doing task. Recently acs protocol given good rewards to participants.
1899  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It feels good to learn something new about Bitcoin almost every day on the forum on: February 16, 2023, 02:24:45 PM
I thought this forum is all about learning and sharing information? How will others know this same thing?
Yes it is. But there are certain things that dont need to be posted as new topic. Let say you learn some new things, you could keep it to yourself since we are here to learn and also if you wanted to share its fine too as long as you use search engine to check whether the topic youve learn has been posted already by someone or not. Cause it may cause a redundancy of same topic threads.
1900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth staking stablecoins? on: February 16, 2023, 12:28:12 PM
Do you know the safest way to stake stablecoins without breaking the bank? Also, do you think it's worth it? Or should I consider other options? Any suggestions and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
Curve for decentralized though Im seeing some stablecoin pools on bsc network but I am yet to know if these platforms are trusted though. Its also the rate of return, of course calculate the rate of inflation on your country and find one that is higher on those platform, of course secure also which is safest. Binance have a 6% on their busd pool. Thats not bad if you want your stable to move while holding, but do this only if you can trust any cex out there. If gonna risk on a cex Id choose binance.  But decentralized platform is better without any ties.
