1661  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A few random questions on: April 17, 2023, 08:15:18 AM
2) Binance is currently under attack by governments through lawsuits. Are they legally required to hand out our personal details to the government? If this is not the case at the moment, it must be the case soon. And when the government knows which cryptos we own, it is only a matter of time before they tax us and basically confiscate our wealth.
There is a process of that. Plus government have their rights to ask that but in due process. Binance knew how to handle them and we all knew that politics doesnt play well with the likes of crypto but they dont have any rights to comfiscate our wealth since its decentralized unless they knew and have evidences that its been acquired through illegal processes.
1662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins in the next century on: April 16, 2023, 04:11:48 PM
Thats a lot of question but primarily bitcoin will never got like a centralized entity to be stable with. Even it become legal tender, the movement would might still affect altcoins in the long run. Plus not all altcoins are not meant to hold since we knew some or majority of them are premine with an end game approach when VC start selling their loads. Its proven so better pick wise your altcoins.
1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is SUI a SCAM project or LEGIT? on: April 16, 2023, 10:24:31 AM
SUI conducted a TestNet program which lasted for almost a year and eventually they refused to airdrop their community who spend time and efforts to ensure the success of their project. instead of airdropping their communities they lured some few members of their community to participate in their presales. so, what is your opinion on this.? Is SUI a SCAM project or LEGIT?
The retroactive airdrops are always unsure. Some opt to give back to the community and some arent. Lets just move on if we participate on their testnet since every project has the right not to give and these are just speculations. Who knows they might give some on suprise or anything. Ive seen a lot who got dissapointed but thats fine. Maybe participating on their community sale is also a bonus since its quite low.
1664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommend me altcoin to DCA till halving on: April 16, 2023, 10:18:59 AM
I don't want coins above $100, so that it will be possible to run on good profits if the investment works.
First tryout some altcoins that are useful for you. In that sense you knocked out some that might interest you when bull run arrived. If you are a risky guy then go for low cap altcoins that are indeed have potential based on your research or experience. If you are aiming for multiplier than check the low cap mid altcoins. No risk no gain. But if you want a safe one then go for doing bitcoin or eth dca. These two are the safest and might have unfold secure earnings but not same with a risky altcoins that could give you 100x to 500x.
1665  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How true is this statement? on: April 14, 2023, 06:56:23 AM
How true is this statement? I thought bitcoin wallet is best for storing long term investment, since no physical companies are to be trusted 100%, people uses bitcoin wallet to established good investment plans but seeing lead to ask questions of why and how true, which means no where is safe for life investment.
Yes provided you only store bitcoin with that since its only supported bitcoin and not other tokens and coins. It is also safe if you protect it from possible danger or hack. Cause even some might get compromise if not secured properly or been affected by virus.
1666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum's Shapella Upgrade now live: Price Increased rather than Fell on: April 14, 2023, 06:07:09 AM
Besides the launch of Shanghai and Capella upgrades of ethereum. Consensys release a free nft mint to celebrate its launch.

https://twitter.com/ConsenSys/status/1646679833605226498?t=84uGPwDUXyouFTmY6vDH-w&s=19

48hrs from the post it would end. I believe this is worth a go considering nft possible hype might be also a criteria for possible airdrop that might occur. Who knows. Since its free anyone could just mint it. No harm in doing, like what Aptos airdrop to some of the holder of their free nft mint as well.
1667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: April 14, 2023, 05:42:41 AM
For me based on your list. It could be matic. This project has a strong fundamental and has been one of the best contender among the L1 out there. But obviously the top 2 still the best one bitcoin and ethereum since both of these two are very strong but these are already too high in valuation. Maybe better if to divide your budget into 3 to 4 assets and pick a mid tier project that still in low cap if you are after the multiplier on the next bull run season.
1668  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How did you get familiar with threads? on: April 14, 2023, 05:18:43 AM
At some point I wonder what I can do to mingle deeply in the discussion and contributions of this hard terms but one can not said something where you have no ideas. That's why I want to know how you get much familiar with all bitcoin technologies? What should I do?
Its not like everyone here at expert with that but when you continuously hearing and reading some terms and understand how does it work, slowly it become a knowledge to you and you already familiarize with it. If you arent aware on the topic, dont force yourself to engage but instead ask questions which is quite normal I guess.
1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JASMY - worth investing? on: April 13, 2023, 02:25:12 PM
Any more thoughts on this? ~snipped
In any case the project still is on mid tier level and has a lot of room for improvement. Im not sure how long it will take to fly but when bull season arrived. Surely this could be a multiplier of 10x, 20x and 50x. But you need to take a deep review if the project has several plans for their platform or any form of development been working on to make sure you have been supporting a great team of course.
1670  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to be more useful in this forum on: April 13, 2023, 07:32:46 AM
I am determined to do a contribution in here but no matter how hard I try I failing to execute my determination.
How come it will fail if you are fully determin what you want to contribute. If you are talking about merited post, then you should make more improvement by dealing with your content. Its okay if theres no merit popping in, it doesnt mean you arent a good poster, you just continue it and dont mind if its appreciated or not but as long as you did help or contirbute something thats fine.

Also dont be too hard on yourself or pressuring to do more than what you need to share. Topics here can be discuss naturally and no need to make every threads just to meant you are contributing. A simple replied might be helpful already if you suggested or recomended something in a topic. Anyway you are doing great. Ive seen some seriously wanted to change their routine and thats already a big step.
1671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop gains tracker on: April 13, 2023, 06:19:21 AM
Any idea? Like website/platform that got information like these?
Hey mate, try to check on this website:

https://earndrop.io

Actually it is paid but you could monitor potential wallet for an airdrop you miss or didnt claimed. Ive seen thus from an influencer and really did a good job with updating the airdrop details. Maybe if I liquidated already few of arb drops Id probably subscribed for an update. But you could check its feature, its really helpful especially if you are busy checking whats up or new today for those valuable drops.
1672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ZkSync Air Drop Noobie issues on: April 13, 2023, 05:15:26 AM
The team behind the project doesn't seem like it has any plans to do an airdrop
These projects always said that there are no plans of airdrop same like what arbitrum has said before, no plan for airdrop then boom.

So as the mainnet is already on, it is "too late" for qualifying to the "possible" airdrop?
Werent sure about this. No one confirm the possible criteria and having mainnet with more ecosystem dapps. I think ita good to have some transaction there or interactions. With the release of arbitrum these people tend to knock out some potential activity though arent sure but its a ballsy move since you need to spend gas fee. Anyway, these are all speculations anyway.
1673  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why did you chose bitcoin? on: April 13, 2023, 04:41:03 AM
Why do we have this so much trust on bitcoin that it not die easily? That bitcoin is a long term investment with confidentiality. Why do you chose to trust bitcoin over any other investment?
Among other things we could say bitcoin pass the description of decentralization whereas it really shows how it is being described. Some consider bitcoin as investment some arent. But thats how we can say it gains its value. If you compare it to altcoins, youll see a big difference, apparently altcoins are advance in terms of innovation and tech used than bitcoin now, but being stable in concept? Well bitcoin really did well.
1674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin holders hang on until the bull run comes ? on: April 12, 2023, 02:48:23 PM
Thats the thing about fomo. Its not really good for people who are just swayed by news or hype. Elon do that frequently so its like you caught the big wave and now caught it by suprise. Of course some will take profit from that those who are like a second of the news who liyerally bought a lot and when many have realize the pump. There they can unload their bags on the late comers. But its okay if you hold it for long term maybe youll experience the same pump when Elon drop another cheap trick on socials.
1675  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's a crypto/bitcoin scam that most people and newbies simply don't notice? on: April 12, 2023, 10:52:25 AM
they should never use their main wallet so that if they spot a wrong one which is planted by scammers they can avoid to drain up their balances earned.
Yes connecting their main wallet is a bad idea unless how sure they are of the platform. Using a dummy one for airdrops is always a good thing to do especially if you are a guy who always fond of testnet. Cause whatever legit or legal things they say, we can always be sure that they will follow it in the right way. Some codes can be bugged or modified in their favor as always.
1676  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's a crypto/bitcoin scam that most people and newbies simply don't notice? on: April 12, 2023, 06:32:11 AM
There are so many crypto/bitcoin scams that have been discussed on this forum. As a matter of fact there is a whole thread dedicated to it but then again we still see people falling for new, sophisticated scams which at first may not look like the regular scams we all have become used to.
What I wanted to add on the common scams. Are the one related on airdrop thru retroactive transactions which is requiring the use of smart contract interaction on dapps which isnt all the time safe since some of these airdrop pages might have some malicious and prospect scams. Imagine if you could connect on those and your wallet got compromise? Instead of airdrop, might have some problems on your own wallet and got sweep by these people.
1677  Other / Meta / Re: AI-generated post discussion thread: how to identify & report on: April 12, 2023, 05:28:03 AM
What if these AIs get modified in a way that they deny what they have already said? for example, someone posted a reply that was created by AI, and you really want to find out if it was AI-generated, so you decide to run an AI word search, and the AI tells you a different thing and denies it really said the first statement? This can be possible if these AIs keep getting better.
Thats a bit hard or if ever it is. Its gonna be a chaos I think. Since even AI can now detect a content written by an AI. Honestly an advance tech could be good but so advance can also not beneficial either. See OP needed to have a standard method for these users using AI which technically cheating the idea of a healthy forum discussion, since instead of creating their own thought and putting here some relying already on AI to finish the job.
1678  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning] Crypto users' data is stolen in the name of Ledger IPO's whitelist.. on: April 12, 2023, 03:23:41 AM
So facebook ads really need to step up and do a conprehensive screening to whoever wanted to do an ads. Since its a popular social sites, ads there tend to be legit for others but it seems scammers can easily do a business or promotions simply like this. Maybe they follow the standard and no harm done but collecting information especially personal one might lead to a more potential scam later on. Since there is no official announcement from Ledger then how come marketing it already? Obviously one reason, to bait some or many for a wide scam.

Nice share OP. This is very helpful.
1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Cardano get so much hate? on: April 12, 2023, 02:55:55 AM
Even its negative publicity its still a news and people talk baout it still show its exposure to community. Some may throw some tantrums about this project or the things they cant see on the outside but thats only people talking about it. Why not ignore those and just continue your support. Everyone has their own bet coin and tokens and thats normal that they tend to say something bad aside from their own holding to see the other side right? Anyway data and figure speaks for itself about it. Ada is on top list, so ignore potential fud cause it wont change a position for their token that simply.
1680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Step by step in " DOING YOUR OWN RESEARCH" on: April 11, 2023, 11:49:54 AM
These are nice and correct reviewing the project. But to do an initial scanning, its not necessarily to over review it. For me browsing the website alone can help you identify many things. Focus on their development and check if they have some github or any open source record. Social value too, and team working on it. Sometimes by seeing the people behind it make us become confident that they are indeed a good project. Portfolio of those and some partners too.
