It would be good if you can give me a link to a trustworthy android emulated that I can be able to use on Windows, if there are, it would be the best way to go for me.

I know that Android Studio - Google's development tool for Android - contains emulator for Android. Imho it cannot be any more trusted.
But that (installing a full dev tool only for the emulator) may be a bit of overkill.

I've lost contact with those tools many years ago, so I expect you can get better answers (tools, configuration) from others. I've just suggested a new direction for your actions.

Note:

2685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are all Hodlonaut on: August 29, 2022, 08:59:24 AM
which side are you on again?
are you pro
core/LN/blockstrema(segwit,UASF)

or are you anti
coinbase, chain analysisblocq(xt segwit2x)

because they are all funded by the same team

In all the countries you'll find businessmen funding politicians from all the parties (and maybe all the parties too). This ensures them a spot on the winning side, no matters who wins, but doesn't mean they believe in all of those (it would be absurd). They may not even care, as long as it's a good business and the invested money gets returned plus some extra (in a way or another).

I think that it may also be the case here, hence bringing DCG into discussion may not be actually relevant.

however if DCG got its many dozens of businesses to file many dozens of claims against CSW, then its then CSW that has to do the running around

Would this be a good business for them? Would it pay off?
2686  Other / Off-topic / Re: Recommended 2FA app for Windows on: August 29, 2022, 08:45:45 AM
Presently, I only have the backups of my 2FA secret codes of the exchanges, I am looking for a Windows 2FA app that I can import it. I was using Aegis before because it is open source and highly recommended on this forum, but not on Windows, I searched Window's app store, I was only familiar with winOTP, but I do not know if it is recommended too? I checked https://getaegis.app/, they only have Android and F-Driod apps, no app for Windows.

I will go for another direction. It may worth at least a quick thinking.

Since Aegis works only on Android and F-Droid and you have your data in there (and can be exported from Aegis and imported to another Aegis), maybe the direction you could take is to install on your Windows an Android Emulator and install Aegis there. It may be less hassle...
2687  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance announced investing on DID, is it safe? on: August 29, 2022, 08:34:34 AM
But the company is in control of the data

This is a problem and a central point of failure too. Binance was hacked in the past, isn't it?
Even more, with so nice bunch of buzz words - private key, cryptography, blockchain, decentralized (identifier) - one will think it's as secure and decentralized as bitcoin, and it's not. It's centralized.
And I also don't think that only the user can access that identity; I think that Binance and that user can access the identity. And maybe the hackers too. And maybe also those buying this info from Binance...

So for now I'd be very wary about all this. It looks to me as a nicely wrapped... trap.
2688  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why full time to crypto why not to Skills on: August 29, 2022, 08:28:05 AM
Dear community I have researched almost % of people's stepping towards crypto without any proper training and attention and losing their money for greedy mind...

Bitcoin means investment or trading, but it means technology too. People can learn valuable things from this forum if they want to... and they do, if they're not overly lazy and overly greedy.
And if they are lazy/greedy, they will not care about skills anyway...

So, unfortunately, I think that you're barking up the wrong tree, unless you know a cure for greediness...
2689  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BTC2FIAT.me: a lightweight Bitcoin to Fiat converter on: August 29, 2022, 08:16:37 AM
I'm also not in love with the domain url (.me), but the nicer alternatives are either taken or too expensive. preev is a great catchy name and it works amazing.

You haven't look around well enough and you've messed the chance for getting preev.net
However, your code is live on preev.net (I don't know for how long); you can see here and (better) a whole discussion here.
2690  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: preev.net - what it should have and how it should look? on: August 29, 2022, 07:57:50 AM
it was my mistake, because I am so used to typing my own urls... I typed www.preev.net and it should be https://preev.net/

I don't see it as a mistake, I see it as a (good!) test.

I think that nowadays every website can and should make both www. and simple urls work.
And probably this can help OP fix that.
2691  Local / Altcoins (Monede Alternative) / Re: Posta Romana lanseaza o colectie de 160 NFT on: August 27, 2022, 08:06:44 PM

Am dat acum o noua cautare si acum apare informatia si pe site-ul Postei Romane:
https://www.posta-romana.ro/a1601/stiri/cumpara-un-nft-al-postei-romane-si-sustii-ingrijirea-unui-pacient-cu-o-boala-incurabila.html

2692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin switches to post quantum algo - which one will it take? on: August 27, 2022, 07:26:08 PM
When Bitcoin switches to post quantum algo - which one will it take?

The first question is whether Bitcoin needs a change for this yet. And I think that the answer is still no.

And if so, sorry, but your question makes no sense (and I'm being nice). From what I've read some of those submissions may be a bad joke. So we will need to see which of those is/are good enough and pass the test of time. May be some options, may be none(!), however, we simply don't know that now. So, again, your question doesn't make sense because it cannot get a proper answer.
2693  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Error Analysis in Bitcointalk Forum on: August 27, 2022, 07:00:27 PM
2. It's unfortunate that sometimes even honest errors here, especially newbie errors, are not properly corrected but rather insulted, ridiculed, or even rebuked angrily. Rather than feeling mentored, guided, and corrected, there are probably newbies here who instead felt discouraged and unwelcome, thereby losing interest, curiosity, and the desire to ask questions, learn, and perhaps contribute.

With so many cases people make accounts because they've heard here and there that they can make easy money on Bitcointalk, then they start shitposting, sometimes it's difficult to differentiate the honest newbies who want to learn from those who don't care and only want an extra buck.
And then such mistakes (i.e. wrong attitude against honest newbies) do happen, indeed and, indeed, it's sad they happen. But maybe we have to also take into account that this is a free forum (as in free speech). People may have better days and worse days, with better attitude (and answers) and worse. Of course, this won't help the newbies who get too easily disappointed. I know that. Still I feel like this had to be mentioned.
2694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Interested in finding the real owner of a btc address - 40$ XMR on: August 26, 2022, 09:14:56 PM
Keep in mind that there's probably a huge difference between what chain analysis shows freely/publicly and what can they do as paid service. It was often said that the free service is more a honeypot than something useful.

I have the expert account done through a collaboration with them so all good here.

Then, unfortunately, I don't think that there is anybody on the forum that will be able to really help you get that information.
But I have a feeling that this is not actually a bad news for you.
2695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this the Extreme of Gambling Addiction? on: August 26, 2022, 09:03:32 PM
So I was surfing the gamblingnews.com website to get the latest information in the gambling world. I found this interesting story which I kept pondering on to understand whether this is the extreme or a new dimension of gambling addiction or not. I am tempted to think that it is because the gang according to the news, targets only businesses that have video poker and video gaming machines. And so far they have stolen a total of $400K from gambling machines. The logic behind my conclusion is that, if people who are addicted to gambling would do anything at all costs to win money and for this group they have gone the extreme of breaking and stealing the monies in these gaming machines. This behaviour should be on the far end of the continuum of gambling addiction.

My take is that it may not be at all related to gambling.
My take is that - in a way or another - they've found out some ways to easily (or at least very fast!) break into those machines and steal their content. I would not be surprised only certain makers (of the machines) were targeted.
2696  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: in debt but want to invest. on: August 26, 2022, 08:55:46 PM
Yes it can be risky but it also depends on a few other details which the OP has
not mentioned.

You made a pretty good list, but there's also something we both forgot about:
it's expected that all the prices will grow. So OP will have to also have some backup funds for the winter.
So yeah, not a great time to have debts. I recommend him be overly cautious.
2697  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Samsung Investing on Crypto (Bitcoin) in South Korea on: August 26, 2022, 08:51:47 PM
Some of Samsung models have built-in blockchain wallet in their smartphones, so they probably have plans to connect that to their new centralized exchange.
They already have secure element chip inside devices that can act similar like hardware wallet, but it's closed source

I would not be overly happy about those things in Samsung phones, nor advertise them.
As you said, it's closed source, and we don't know what surprises they bring.

I find these more a marketing stunt than actually useful features, Samsung trying hard to stay on top of the game. It's, for some years now, no longer an Apple vs Samsung game, there are other makers (especially Chinese) with huge sales eroding the giants' positions.

Also, as I said, Samsung is investing in a lot of directions. Having their own exchange.. is just another business.
2698  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Wallet Label Export Format: A Proposal by Craig Raw on: August 26, 2022, 08:23:50 PM
But i question the decision where first field (called "Reference" on test vector) may contain multiple types of data. If i'm going to use Excel, i'd rather see additional field which tell type of the data so i could filter/sort it with less effort.

That's what I've been also thinking: without more info that "one field that can contain anything" can become overly confusing.
Then I've seen he uses/proposes different formatting for different types of data.
But.. why not different field for each of those types?? Instead of having pretty much a syntax, we could just have the tx on the tx column and the input on the input column, for example (and leaving the not needed columns empty).

Then something more: I've learned that best is that a file contains - in a way or another - the version of the protocol/documentation, to allow in the future, if anything is changed/added, still handle everything correctly or know from start it's not a supported version. Of course, then the use-in-excel may no longer work. On the other hand, I would suggest enforcing (or "strongly suggesting") the use of a password when exporting those files, for the sake of one's privacy...
2699  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: in debt but want to invest. on: August 26, 2022, 08:09:18 PM
right now i’m in debt for $6k but i want to keep DCA. should i focus more on pay my debt down or investing?

This is an overly risky situation. We cannot tell if bitcoin will grow tomorrow or fall more. If you buy BTC and still can pay your debt as scheduled, you may be fine investing, but otherwise I'd go with focusing to pay the debt first. Else, in case of emergency, you will have to sell your bitcoins at a price you may not like.
2700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is possible, see BCH before hard fork on: August 26, 2022, 08:03:41 PM
Hello everybody,

I have a noob doubt, if the hard fork of the BTC and the BCH was on Aug 1 of 2017, how is possible to see transaction in BCH currency before this date Huh?

I don't undertand nothing

Since BCH is forked from bitcoin, before the forking date they were sharing the same blockchain hence the same transactions.
Obviously, that blockchain is actually called bitcoin, but, with BCH trying to alter reality and lie newbies they are the bitcoin, of course can easily pretend anything they want and write BCH wherever they want.

I would not be surprised the block explorer you're looking at would show the genesis block contain the famous "The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks." and still lie it's BCH  Cheesy

My suggestion is to leave those delusional altcoiners and go for bitcoin.
