2681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: March 27, 2022, 01:15:01 AM

That's right! Murata is still a threat on GGG's career even though there's a much more anticipated fight ahead of him which is the trilogy, even so he still needs to face Murata first and defeat him in-order to retain the hype of the fight that he is been calling for years now.

About Murata, I know that he is been really preparing for this fight because these are the fights that he has probably waited for years to have that one fight that will change his career and defeating GGG will be a good stepping stone for his career as it would really give him more opportunities in this industry.

What interests me on this fight is not how Murata will perform or his motivation but how GGG will handle himself going to this fight and the fight day, old age is catching up with him although I have not seen him slowing down on his last fight, every boxer's dilemma is their age and the body's reaction, the mind is still there but the body does not react to what the mind wants, it's not on Murata but if GGG still has it, if he still has it GGG can win this easily.

That's why this is going to be a very competitive fight as Murata is going to test GGG in this fight in every round. It will be obvious if age will catch up on GGG in this fight, he will be slow and then Murata winning the fight to someone thwart the possible trilogy with Canelo. So everything rest on the hands of GGG now, he better perform in this fight and show that he still has it and then set the fight with Canelo.
2682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which sports are you placing bets on? on: March 27, 2022, 12:39:26 AM
There are a lot of players around the world. Not every games are favorite in all region. Some likes soccer, some maybe esports or some cricket or others.
Which one are you mostly placing your bets on? Besides, do you think gambler don't care which sport it is. I have seen gambler who don't have any fucking idea about cricket but he used to bet on cricket.

LOL, I used to do that 2x, betting on a sports that I didn't know or at least not sure how the bets are being put into place and obviously, I lost that bets. So I didn't go back and try those sports.

Mostly bet on tennis games, seldom used to bet on other games maybe except basketball. But soccer or cricket is not for me though.
2683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 27, 2022, 12:13:30 AM
I hope this will push through this fight is already plan before the invasion, they have to sanction this fight and then decide for all coming fights that involve Russian fighter, it's depriving both fighters and the boxing community a well deserve fight, so many efforts and money will be wasted if this fight will not push through, I have respect for the Klitschko brothers but not on this one, we can boycott Russian boxers after this fight

We have good news already that the fight will push as it is supposed to be.

No change of plans or getting a sanctioned that it will be a non-title bout. Let's be positive on that and hope that the situation between Russia and Ukraine will be solved thru diplomacy as we don't other industries like sports to be affected by the ongoing conflict. Not all Russians, especially athletes, want the war in the first place that's why it seems unfair that they are dealing with the consequences that their President is doing.

Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol will take place on May 7 without a problem. They should let the fight just push without a problem.

Yeah, I think majority of us here saw that this fight is going to push through as per schedule despite the noises around regarding Bivol as a Russian.

Bivol went on record  that he is against the war itself and it's good that the WBA didn't heed the call of certain boxers and allowed this fight to proceed in US soil. So just like what? 7-8 weeks from the fight? For sure they have started their trainings already and for sure this will be a great fight.
2684  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Russia goes full Bitcoin adoption on: March 26, 2022, 08:04:22 AM
Russia will accept Bitcoin for energy exports apparently and also likely gold too - https://twitter.com/disclosetv/status/1507016592722259985

This isnt full adoption but a bit of a reversal as they did not favor BTC otherwise normally.   I think BTC is moderately bullish but also challenged for this year rather then expecting any breakout near term.   We are just about at the yearly average so its relatively neutral in the larger perspective at this time.   Later it might develop further and we can guess BTC becomes a breakout scenario but imo its not occurring immediately as there is not going to be any full adoption only in parallel to a variety of trades done and since China is the largest entity and has dismissed BTC it will be largely other currency imo.

I guess their back is against the wall now, and they think that in order to survived, they will have to used and accept Bitcoin.

And it will be good for those who wanted to buy, at least the West won't know in the beginning as to who is secretly buying because they have to issue warnings on India if I'm not mistaken for buying oil in Russia at a discount because their is a embargo against Russia. So Russia can't do anything but to change their narrative against Bitcoin for now and readily accept it to have some money flowing for them.
2685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 26, 2022, 07:24:37 AM
^^ Very very important for Casimero to not have any issues with this fight. And I agree that he has sort it out with hiring a nutritionist that will overlook everything he eat and should be making good meals for him.

So everything is set for him against Butler, only the outcome of the fight is an unknown variables. But for us, Casimero is the favorite and chances are very high that he will win this fight.

MP Promotions and Team Casimero has already sorted that out for Casimero so that he can be healthy and at his edge at the day of the fight. Overall, Casimero has prepared enough for this fight and as for his physical abilities and mental health, it's already good. The only thing left to do is to maintain his health like eating the right food that can boost his immune system more.

Few more weeks to go, hold tight people!

So are you saying that Casimero is still working with MP promotion? I read some news before that he shifts to another promoter, the same promoter whom Donaire is working with, I just want to clarify this news to know which is true.

As far as I know, he bolted out of MP and joined Probellum promotions and this will be his first fight under the banner.

So MP and Sean Gibbons are out, and that's why Sean has been attacking the Donaire's because they are intrumental on Casimero joining them on the other side. And we can all suspect as to who is behind the sudden sexual harassment filed by some lady in the Philippines against Casimero. And it's obvious that they wanted to distract Casimero in this fight and maybe hoping that he will lose.
2686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 26, 2022, 04:01:17 AM
He needs to think fast while inside the ring, and have alternatives with the techniques.
If one doesn't work, he should easily switch to another one. Otherwise, Spence Jr will win easily.
Being the underdog here, he should be more aggressive to show what he's got.
KO or not, he should think strategically to get ahead of the game, otherwise, those 3 belts are gone.

Too many strategies will just ruin Ugas' fighting style. Why not just enhanced his specialty? No need to switch.

The goal is to get the most points per round. KO should not be the target as Spence is a big wall that I think no way to be KO even against Terence Crawford.

These boxers already know what to do once they fight each other. We should have to watch.

Yeah, I don't think that Ugas will tailor fit his style and adjust for this fight, he will remain a counter puncher and will play defense. He could score points per round, and if there is a KO (that I doubt), then he might go for it. If not, try to make the fight very close to the judges eye and maybe he can sway 1 or 2 in his favor per round and then build his score and points. The fight is getting nearer, and we will see them more often in the media now to promote their upcoming fight and maybe we will hear what are their strategies.
2687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 26, 2022, 01:46:46 AM
^^ I think both has pressure to win their fights, so that this mega fight will happen eventually. So if either one of them losses, as you and the other posters have said, the hype will go down a bit.

So its very important to hurdle their fight first, GGG against Murata in Japan, and then Canelo against the reigning LHW champion on Bivol.

And I agree that Canelo will be the A-side in this fight, maybe 70-30 in favor of him.

As far as I can see, even Canelo and GGG will lose their upcoming fight, the impact and excitement is still there when they faced for a third time. It's a fight that everyone anticipated to happen for a long. To settle everything and it seems it's now likely happening, a third match is necessary to negotiate.

Just seems concerned to GGG here how he can deal with the prime Canelo if he will lose to Murata that is not even in his league.

About the split, 70-30 split is too much. Canelo is too overrated if that will be the final split.

I think a 60-40 split will be fair for GGG, in the Saunders fight, that was the split and we all know that GGG still carry a lot of followers.

So it's better for GGG to win against Murata and it should be very reassuring so that there will be no doubt that he can still fight Canelo at this point of his career. Otherwise if he loses or just win in a close fight. Many might view that GGG is no longer in his prime and that it will be an easy fight for Canelo with that kind of version of GGG.
2688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comparing the previous bear run of Market on: March 26, 2022, 01:12:06 AM
I would like to follow the market trends with great interest and compare the current market price movements after the end of 2021 with previous bearish trends such as the 2018 bear market. I think the cryptocurrency bearish trend may have changed the pattern and took another dimension. . If you've been following the market trends, you've probably noticed that what's happening in the market right now is different from the 2018 downtrend, but yet another sign of a bearish move. What is your opinion

Well there is belief that maybe Bitcoin will have 2 super cycles so we might not see a bear market similar to 2018. Or if we are indeed in the bear market, the price will not go down hard as the last time.

So there's are a lot of factors to look at the current trend, as the data is fairly young, we can't say that we will have the same down turn as 2018 or we will have a new cycle because the so called narrative has changed, i.e. Government and countries investing on it, whales continue to buy, even huge projects are willing to invest billions upon billions on the market.
2689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 25, 2022, 03:27:46 AM

If Ugas can do it again on Spence, it's good. But Spence won't make it happen. Odds just tell us the gap between these two. It's the same odds when Ugas becomes the replacement of Spence to fight Pacquiao.

With the same strategy, I don't think it would work on Spence.

Spence is taller and with a longer reach, so in order for Ugas to hurt Spence, he should be aggressive and look for a good counter punch as Spence is very aggressive as hell.  Maybe there are lots of doubts regarding Spence health, but we can still not deny that he remains undefeated despite of that.

Right, just one factor to look at Spence in the beginning, ring rust plus the eye injury, if this two issues are not there in the fight then he has a good chance to win against Ugas.

But if he is bother by both, specially like very conscious in protecting his eye, then maybe Ugas can fine an opening and make it a good fight for Spence. So it's very important for Ugas early to try and keep the fight to Spence and really test if he is worry about this health specially that eye of his.
2690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TIPS how to manage from losing when investing new projects. on: March 25, 2022, 02:52:15 AM
It is really overwhelming to see the growing number of new projects but unfortunately, most of them are indeed worthless and have no use case to provide. Many had suffer losses because of some mistakes but we can avoid them if we have to do these things.

1. We buy coins not only because the price is low - many had thought that buying them in bulk gives them a good profit later.

2. We have to stop thinking about hypes - maybe some but not all of the new projects

3. Stop falling to scam projects - usually, people got tricked when seeing projects offer high rewards (good to be true) and most of them are just a lie.

4. Doing Research - we have to take this seriously as nobody had ever succeeded without this.

Yeah, specially about the hype thingy, I think this is prevalent in crypto market only, of course, there is hype on certain stocks, but crypto? it's very different. You can find a certain projects being hype everything and then later it will just die down a natural death.

Too good to be true projects are already a red flag, no need to take the risk and invest on them.

DYOR - the old adage but still very effective method specially if you are a beginner in crypto investments. Not everything that shine here is diamond or gold.
2691  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor on: March 25, 2022, 02:21:33 AM
This match may possible to happen if both parties agrees with the terms, we know McGregor will fight even if this is not his forte as long as he get paid well here, same thing with Jake Paul.

I think Jake Paul's camp are the one who offered the money for Connor, therefore the approval should only come from Connor and we will see this fight happening if he approves. The offer based on the previous post is very huge, we are talking of $50 million USD here, so I think that amount is hard to resist knowing Connor doesn't make that much in his previous MMA fight.

Indeed that is huge for a exhibition fight like this, but who knows, maybe he will demand more because Conor knows that he can still bring sits in any stadium and the PPV numbers are going to be very big as well.

So it boils down as to how the money will be split, it could be in favor of Conor here as he will be the A-side and he is well known around the world as compare to Jake Paul who just rises up in popularity because of him being a Youtube sensation and then moving to exhibition fights.
2692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: March 25, 2022, 01:58:46 AM
But on the other hand Murata is also not an ordinary boxer and he definitely wants to make something that people who see him definitely don't want to forget. even though he is the favorite but on the other hand this match will not be easy for GGG.

I agree on that, he is not just an ordinary fighter because he is also a champion, it's just that GGG is more popular as a boxer but of course, Murata has a chance of winning the fight. The popularity of GGG makes him the favorite to win the fight, and if we look at the betting odds, Murata here is a heavy underdog which IMO a good chance for the backers to take advantage of the odds if they'll like to put a bet on this fight.

Quote
Boxing Odds: Gennady Golovkin -650 favorite, Ryota Murata +410 underdog.
https://bettinginsiderjournal.com/boxing/gennady-golovkin-vs-ryota-murata-odds-predictions/

A champion? But he didn't fight for it. Just to inform you guys that Murata's WBA (Super) middleweight champion is a vacant title by Canelo Alvarez because he now moves up and has an upcoming fight with Bivol. Murata didn't gain it thru defeating or stealing it in a title match.

The fight with Gennady Golovkin is Murata's first fight since getting the WBA Title.

I don't see what kind of strategy he can used to defeat a much experience and stronger GGG that only has 1 loss in his entire boxing career.

He was a WBA champion in 2019: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-72YL1Z_PG4

Maybe what you meant is that he was relegated by the WBA to their regular champion at Middleweight (too much belt for boxing governing body).

In any case, we can't take anything away from Murata, he has worked his ass off and now it will be a big test against GGG but hopefully he won't derail the much anticipated GGG vs Canelo Alvarez 3rd fight.

So he is really a champion after all.

Well, Murata really has a nice future looking at his previous fights, however, the quality of opponents matters and we have here GGG who some may think is old already but this guy is a battle tested, so it's just normal that people think he would beat the ass of Murata easily.

Yeah, he has been campaigning in the 160 lbs for years now. That's a big factor as far as their opposition is, Murata seems to be just hanging in Japan and mostly fight confident in his hometown. GGG has started in his native town and then move to the US to fight and faces more tough opposition as compare to Murata.

But Murata has punching power, so this fight will be interesting as how GGG style will match against the Japanese. Both are ring rusty though, so that's another factor that we have to look early and then who will still be fresh on their legs as the fight goes on.
2693  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stay above $40000? on: March 25, 2022, 01:25:33 AM
Yeah, once again that proves that the market is totally unpredictable because no matter how much negative speculations that we saw, the flow of the price is still going in the opposite direction.
I don't think Bitcoin price move in the opposite direction. There should be some reasons why Bitcoin price can increase or decrease. The current increase (BTC hits $44k) is probably the impact of good news about crypto from Ukraine and USA. People are interested to buy more Bitcoin because they view the potential for an improvement on Bitcoin in the near future. It was very different from the situation when BTC price dropped around $35k several weeks ago, people were afraid to buy Bitcoin because of the issue of the world's economic status. The demand was decreasing much, people are worried the war may bring negative impacts to crypto market. So, basically, BTC price moves according to the current situation in crypto, and it can be a bit predictable. IMO

I was a little bit skeptic with the current run, specially when it hits $43,000 again, but seeing the price going as high as $44,000 right now, hard not to think that this could be a bull run or just a bull trap. So we still need to be very cautious in our trading strategy right now, it's better to wait for the price to at least go down to buy and get inside. Of course, there is always the FOMO, but then again, with the war in Europe, we don't know if this the reason behind or it's just that Bitcoin narrative has change, cycles has evolved as well. There were even a call that we might be seeing super cycles, so we will see how it goes.
2694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc and usdt people trust on: March 24, 2022, 02:59:19 AM
Traders and alot rich traders investors are in 2 things.
Btc and usdt as USDT is safe place to hold funds but how the exchangers protect this ?
Imagine if something happens with usdt many people will lose so much that they never cant deal with crypto anymore so what is the exvhangers security plan to fully protect customers ?
As myself fully depend on usdt thats how much i trust usdt and usdc also.

People want to be in crypto if they can funds in stable coins to give them safety but if usdt not safe as there is rumours about usdt then all the crypto game will be over.
I can never sleep well if i know my money will be in volatile coins so USDT is now very important and gives confidence for investors and crypto lovers such us myself

I think this is not new, since the advent of stable coins, they have been accused of running on fractional reserves, they are even been charge of bringing bearish trend on the market and can really put a dent on the price.

I guess the only way to protect yourself and not to fully store your bitcoin into these stable coins. Just learn to hold even if the price is going down and just continue buying and be a long term holder.
2695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 24, 2022, 02:21:50 AM
Sorry mate, I think Spence will win this fight if this will end in KO.

No way, Ugas would beat Spence by KO if he will play safe all the time, if he was not able to KO Pacman who is a smaller fighter and had a problem in the fight, how much more a bigger and a prime Spence, so NO.

Knockout = Spence
Decision = Ugas 30% Spence 70% lol

Ugas has no way to win but to show he's the clear winner of the fight. Although we are just are guessing here, looks like everything is on Spence's side. Poor Ugas, he really needs to work a hard way since, in the first place, that was the necessary thing to do.

No need for a Knock Out win but if he can do it, much better. That's a big upset to Spence if he will won this match.

It's a big hill for Ugas to climb here, he really needs to have a satisfying win if this goes to 12 round. A knock out maybe be out of the picture, but who knows, maybe he can dig and find a way to hit Spence on the right spot and knock him down for good.

So yeah, Ugas should be perfect in this match, his mindset, his body in order to pull an upset and then calls for Crawford for the unification.
2696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 24, 2022, 01:21:52 AM

Proper diet and exercise, I think from head to toe, Casimero's camp is doing their very best to make their fights healthy and fit. I don't see any videos of hard training meaning they are really focusing on his diet as his medical condition is related to the food he intakes.

Smooth and light training while maintaining a balanced diet is already good. Casimero just has to remain fit until the fight.

Paul Butler on the other hand won't waste the opportunity to take that as an advantage. Can't wait for the strategy he will use to take down Casimero.

Yeah, I think its' more of diet on Casimero's side, it should be balance and couple it with good training, he can make the weight easy, no problem.

As compare to Butler wherein he is a career bantamweight so there will be no problem on his side. But he will be taking one of the most dangerous fighter in the division so it will be very difficult for him.
2697  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor on: March 24, 2022, 12:50:11 AM
I used to like McGregor back when he wasn't trying to prove that he can box. He was not only great talker but a great walker (and hitter). Both fights with Diaz and the way these two talked to each other - pure gold. Now I feel like the old confident McGregor is gone. He also changed his way of fighting and for the worse. He's less active, slower, less cocky.
That said, I'd like him to win and beat Jake. This guy is nasty, both Paul brothers are, can't stand them. Actually, he shouldn't take the fight. It's not worth it, I'd focus on UFC not on a sport you're not 100% sure you want to be in.

Age might have caught on Conor already, he is not getting any younger and it's better if he continue his semi-retirement. I don't think he has much to proved in the UFC anymore, he has brought lot of money business wise, inside and outside the ring.

This is an exhibition if he decided to push for it, so I don't think you can call it sports per se, it's all for the money. And I guess this is just the reason why he is allowing this fight to be in his table.
2698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto wealth can only be built in bear market on: March 23, 2022, 11:21:29 AM
Wealth is created during the bear market not in bull market, the question now is are we still in bull market or bear market? We can't expect crypto market to crash instantly if bear is going to happen it will be a gradual process so what is your take on this? Should newbies wait or buy coins right now?

I will be leaning towards the bear market right now.

Of course, it might be slow but methodical downturn in the next couple of months. But still, it's a bear market at what angle you look at it

Not just newbies, but everyone should wait for the perfect time to buy, specially if there is a blood shed  maybe in three months time.
2699  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expect Bullrun this year again! on: March 23, 2022, 10:34:42 AM
This week the price of Bitcoin has risen more than 8%, I will be increasingly optimistic that Bull Run will soon occur, and soon the FIFA World Cup will soon be a lot of Cryptocurrencies into an official sponsor and currently there is Crypto.com which will soon be followed by Cryptocurrencies other. Maybe Bull Run happens in August or 4 months again.

It is not an assurance that there will be a bull run at least because of the FIFA. Of course, bitcoin an crypto will be exposed because of the sponsorship, but it doesn't mean that the fans around the world will suddenly buy bitcoin.  So it's really hard to believed if there will be bull run this year because the price seems to be having a lot of hard time getting an maintaining a price levels because of what is happening around the world, the war in Europe and other factors that might affect investors mentality on crypto and any other assets.
2700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 23, 2022, 10:07:47 AM
GGG vs Canelo would happen if the rumors are true, but they have to defeat their opponent first in their coming fight. As a fan, all I wish is to see a fight between the best of the best, and GGG vs Canelo is surely one of the best fights to see

Actually, that rumor is already not a rumor since likely it will really happen. But first, GGG and Canelo should win in their respective matches against Murata and Bivol. It's a big money fight that even Canelo is not interested anymore in a trilogy, he will accept the offer. It's also a big opportunity for him to silence the doubts that he won the 1st and 2nd matches. Canelo will now be able to seal who's the winner by defeating GGG for the last time.

But GG also has the same goal, to win. Although he's already 40 years at the time of the fight, let's hope that he will still give a difficult fight to Canelo who is currently in his prime.

Yup, the rumors have miraculously turned into a reality now because Canelo has been offered and signed a deal with Bivol and of course GGG is included in that deal, now he have no other choice now because he also needs to defeat Bivol. And yes, even if Canelo doesn't want the trilogy, he have the chance now to shut those critics for good and prove it for the 3rd time.

Yeah, when we thought that Canelo will not give any 3rd fight with GGG as he moves to conquer different weight classes, and we have heard that he will go as high as Light HW, comes this surprising news that he will fight Bivol first in May and then will have Canelo in September this year. Perhaps it was all about the money or he just simply wanted to silence his critics for good with a good and very compelling win in the third fight.
