2721  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: December 28, 2021, 09:32:40 PM
It depends on what coin they are hodling.

There are some coins that are good be to hodl in long term and there are coins that are not. I've hold my ATL token since 2017 and decided to sell it way back 2020 because I already accepted that their project was already a trash. Yes, that's a very wrong move to hold something like that, but since I didn't use any money on that, I still made money out of it.
The right step when you have to sell the altcoins you hold at a high enough price. because some altcoins do not have a clear future and are eventually abandoned. Unlike the altcoins that are at the top of the CMC. It is very important to do research before deciding to hold a coin long term, because it will determine the profits and losses. Don't let altcoins that are held long-term end in losses and cannot be sold.
Always set goals because this is on where you do really base up on your actions whether you do sell or would tend to hold further and this is very situational or does depend with someones mindset or goal in mind.
We do know that not all coins would be pumping out on a specific time because everything is really random and when price spikes do happen then its not really avoidable that you would really be having that
boggle in mind whether you do release and sell or would hold up even more for more profits but actually having this kind of act does signify of being greedy.
Its not bad on being optimistic but once profits is there then you do only need to realized it.
2722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔻 List of Casinos and Sportbooks to Avoid on: December 27, 2021, 11:55:45 PM
This is great thread for a compilation of all scams or maybe have open accusation casino I think it's much better if you would also include sports betting sites as well I think some of the sports betting sites lately have some open accusations, scams and more.
You could already see that its been included.

1xbit
Adkinsbet
444sport

If you do look at these sites then these are bookies.
They are including all sites doesnt matter if its a casino or bookies.
2723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Pi Coins on: December 27, 2021, 10:59:49 PM
Hey guys! Does anyone here on the forum have an idea or knowledge about PI MiNING?

-Is Pi Mining legit or is it a scam?

-Will all the active miners of the Pi Network be worth the wait eventually?

-Will all the mined Pi Coins have any value in the future?

-Can it be exchanged like other listed tokens or coins in cryptocurrency?

People are divided when it comes to pi coins because of their upcoming launch, many believe that PI coins are real but others say they are scams or fake due to speculation on its value that the exchange rate is too high when it is formally released... What can you say about it?
Its a scam! Ive seen lots of Pi coin shills on Facebook which people who are involved did really make out those $1 price on December? Then what happened now?
For sure they are still having those high hopes for this coin without even minding that they might be dealing with some another shitcoin which are really just
trying out to hook up people to invest and then make out some rugpull later on. Those mobile mining or something like that
is just really some show off that it is a legit one but i dont see any significant usage of this one.
2724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: December 27, 2021, 10:29:53 PM

Exactly, but I'm trusting Thurman here, he know the drill as he is in his division for a while, losing to Pacman does not make him a bad fighter, in fact, he got a lot of recognition for being a sport as he accepted his defeat and it was a very close fight. Thurman now is a stronger fighter as he is not anymore an undefeated fighter, he does not have to protect his record but all he can do is to win and aim for a chance to fight against Spence or Crawford, or Ugas.

he have that kind of advantage Thurman is more likely familiar with this division even he's been away for a while, he already fought big names and champion from this weight, while Barrios still new and trying to make his run from this new weight, though with trainings and scouting the chance for Barrios still possible.

This sport already have many upset and we can't really conclude until the fight was declared and a name has been announces as winner.
As long the fight isnt still concluded then there would be still lots of things that could happen and yes there are lots of situations on where upsets do really happen and i could still see some glimpse or chance on where Barrios could possibly pull it off but it wouldnt really be simple as it sounds.Yes, its true that Thurman does have that experience yet fighting out big names like Pacquiao and others does prove out that even he's
away but doesnt mean that he would just simply forget those. Experience does count but everything could still happen until that final bell rings.
2725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ruined my account through multiple mistakes on: December 27, 2021, 10:03:36 PM
Have you guys ever ruined your account when you were still a beginner? And by ruined I mean losing everything or a very big part of it. I started trading like 3 months ago and made my first deposit 2 months ago. After 150+ trades through the course of 1 month I managed to get my 4000$ initial investment to 7000$. Needless to say I was over the moon and I got overconfident. I invested more than usual thinking I have a great opportunity right there and even though I had a fixed plan with certain stop losses in place for every trade, after the price went against my prediction I still hold onto it thinking it will rebound and even added a little more to average down. In the end the price got my stoploss and I was down 3000$ (I don't know how I managed to lose so much in 1 trade). I was very frustrated with my idiocy and I started chasing losses (again like an idiot). Throughout the next 2 weeks I managed to lose another 2400$ by trading while mad (lost most of it when bitcoin went up from 6700 to 8000 at the beginning of the year, shorting it). Now I have only 1600$ left in my account, deeply depressed and afraid to lose even more. I'm afraid that I won't ever make it back and even if I do this is the worst timing possible with the halving rally in sight. I get more depressed even thinking of all the profit those money would have generated if the rally begins. I came here to ask for some advice since I don't trust my decisions anymore and maybe you could give me some insight.
Been a long time and I believe that by now, you must have gotten over your loss.

To other persons reading, this is one of the effects of lack of patience, if only this dude was a bit patient, maybe, just maybe he would have been able to steer his investment to a better direction even after encountering the first accident, I hope alot of us will learn from life stories like this, never allow yourself to become over confident, it is very dangerous, I've personally made this mistake before and it caused me to loose a good amount of money.
Any excess of things doesnt matter on what it is would really always be giving out that kind of disadvantage or totally wrekt you out if you dont make yourself aware.
Mistakes are the best teachers thats why when we do able to commit it then its really regretable but also be thankful  on which you do know on what you gonna do next.
Even though not all or wont really be directly makes you better but you are going their gradually. You are aware on things along the way on which means
you do lessen out at least the risk involved.
2726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitstarz Need help getting my deposit back/credited on: December 26, 2021, 11:56:54 PM
@OP despite the transaction having been successfully reflected and confirmed by many blocks. But you've probably read the feedback of most people about that casino.
You must have the idea now on what has happened and it's better to just accept the fact that you've made a mistake on choosing that casino to deposit.
Sometimes that is the only thing that is left to do, there are some casinos that despite having a policy of a minimum deposit they are still willing to cooperate with the player and then just warn them that if this happens again then they will keep the deposit and then recommend the customer to read their TOS, doing something like that shows that the casino really cares about their customers and it is willing to let somethings go in order to keep the client, unfortunately this does not seem to be the case with this casino in particular.
Lucky you if they would consider on making such step considering that its your own fault then they dont have any obligation on giving it back since its your fault but showing off some ethical ways on dealing with players
then they might really be reconsidering it out but this one tends not to care at all or doesnt really paying up such attention and also making out some research isnt really that time consuming or does
need for you to exert lots of effort.A simple and few clicks away wont really hurt you honestly.
2727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest issue with Bitcoin wallets? on: December 26, 2021, 10:59:18 PM
The lack of LN integration is by far my biggest gripe with most bitcoin wallets.

Luckily, this is something being addressed by many popular wallets. I just think having LN capabilities will be the difference between popular and unpopular wallets in the future.
Those changes specially in related with LN would really make a big change and would totally resolved out that issue that we do have with Bitcoin that had been always criticized.
So far aside from security then i dont see any major problems or issues with bitcoin wallets even upto todays time. For now ive been using Electrum
which does really suits out my needs most of the time. You could modify the fees and you could push up transactions when it gets stucked which does
really give out convenience.
2728  Economy / Gambling / Re: Self-exclusion/ban who to be blame on: December 26, 2021, 10:17:39 PM
Lots of users from this forum have come up with one complaint or the other on how their deposits were withheld by gambling sites after going on self-exclusions, but I confusion why should a user go ahead to make deposits or request for withdrawal after accounts are banned or are its part of the rules of gambling sites to allow for withdrawal from ban account.
In this situation who is to blame the gambling site or the player?
The player should be the one to be blamed when it comes to this on which if they do make out those self exclusion decision then they shouldnt really make out any deposits after wards because it isnt on casinos fault

on why you had made out some deposits even if you do know that account was self excluded or banned? For sure they wouldnt really be considering on making some refund or giving it back since its your
will to made out such action.

As a person who do make out those self exclusion decision then you should really be at least be responsible on what you had taken such action.
2729  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always take profit on: December 26, 2021, 09:21:10 PM
I try take profit as soon possible although 5% from my fund and I think is better than become long term holder or investment called by some on group  Grin, right now I try with $7000 in my fund to trade and always consistent after success filled buy order I use limit sell order with price above 5% as my profit, I don't really care later price can pump more than 20% but I think keep consistent although with little profit is enough during we can take profit almost every day or few days without become long term holder.
A great idea especially if you have good capital, consistently making 5% is possible because of the market volatility, but then you have to be smart enough with how to handle your short-term trading or your day trading in order to end up profitable. You can also evaluate your total profit on a yearly basis and make a comparison to the previous year to see your consistency rate.
Actually a self preference because not all does have that kind or level of patience when holding up for too long thats why whenever they do see some % gains on their investor or into their port then they do tend to sell
without any doubts and hesitance because profit is always a profit and that what matters the most which i could say that it would really be normal on having this kind of set up or trading ways
even myself i do have that kind of behavior on doing trades. Secure profits while you still can and try to buyback when theres some price correction
or dips which repeat on the same process and make yourself sustainable
2730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling rating 2021 on: December 26, 2021, 07:56:16 PM
This is just my opinion and not an official rating so don't take it as advice, the year 2021 was filled with lots of exciting games and tournaments most of the gambling platforms on the forum use that opportunity to build the reputation and presence in the forum so I thought we could gather here to discuss them. Give your rating of the site of your choice and point out reasons why you giving such a rating. I may decide to make this a poll in the future.
Better do some poll now yet it is easy to make one and this cant really be that known on what the community is been preferring into if we dont have this poll. Its true that this year had lots of interesting promotions plus having new casinos that do pop out into the market and make themselves popular in a short span of time. Rating isnt much needed because this would really still ending up on users preference
and there would be no precise numbers that you would really be expecting to look at but if you are really that interested on knowing it at least then better create a poll.
2731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play2earn games on: December 25, 2021, 09:53:15 PM
How good will Play2earn games be that someone can rely on them for daily weekly or monthly income? Axie infinity was a blast but now it's no more a easier option for people that are struggling because the requirements to play the game is highly costly, are there free to play crypto games available?

A bad idea if you are relying on them for income in my opinion.

You may be able to get P2E income here and there based on current popular network activity, but this is definitely not something that you can possibly do long term in my opinion.

You essentially have to bet on your labour going to the right places, and early. Otherwise, the rewards would have already been reaped by others before you and you're just wasting your time.
This is true and its better to find up other source of income but having it on online or an easy way isnt something that could be sustainable for long term or simply couldnt really be reliable in long term process
and as mentioned when a project or game doesnt have that good economy then sooner or later it would really fall into demise which you would really be fucked up if you did really rely
your living on this one.One theyre down then what you gonna do? This is why if its still earning or still there then find another source of possible income you would be having.
2732  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pragmatic play slots not available in my region on: December 25, 2021, 08:58:40 PM
^ I will disagree with this opinion, it seems quite risky if you will buy KYC documents from other countries just because your country has been banned from gambling. It is possible that you may face trouble in the future for example upon withdrawing your fund it may ask for another KYC procedure because you have a problem with the IP which is the KYC documents and the IP address did not match. Just accept the fact if your country prohibits gambling, or much better there are too many gambling online casinos that did not require KYC that you can gamble.

Not worth it whatsoever.

Look, just play on another provider. It's not necessary for you to risk your entire capital just to play a single, specific game.

You are here to have fun, but you are also here to protect your capital in case you do win big. If you fake KYC docs to get around Pragmatic Play's restrictions, they could easily use their ToS breach as a reason to ban your account without paying you.
Not really worth it indeed but surprisingly there are people who do really deal with this and proceed on doing it despite of the risk just for them to play.Just like you mentioned
on which there are lots of providers around on where you could choose from and its not really in par in terms of game design and overall theme or gameplay if you do say
which pragmatic slots arent really that too far off to be better compared on other providers.
2733  Economy / Economics / Re: Tonga will probably be the next country to make Bitcoin legal tender on: December 25, 2021, 08:16:32 PM
Quote
"Given bitcoin’s high price volatility, its use as a legal tender entails significant risks to consumer protection, financial integrity, and financial stability. Its use also gives rise to fiscal contingent liabilities. Because of those risks, bitcoin should not be used as a legal tender."

Utter bullshit.

The arguments are completely nonsensical. How does volatility have to do with BTC's ability to be legal tender?

It's all a matter of what the mainstream perception of BTC is. If a lot of people denominate their purchases in BTC as a native asset, then there will be no issues with volatility.
In addition of that on which if this one had become the main issue then why we are seeing that El Salvador doesnt really care that all when it comes to volatility?
It cant really be denied that this one is really a big problem when it comes to or do talks about overall acceptance because it will surely be part of it
and a certain country would consider out first before making such decision in the end.If there are other countries who had been eyeing for this
one then so be it and thats an another good news.
2734  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: December 25, 2021, 01:56:29 PM
Wow still in christmas celebration we got additional RLB token in the account about 500 RLB this is the only bonus i get here during christmas celebration
Thank you for being generous but please let us play it on the site so it can be doubled  Cheesy hope rollbit team plans it next year
Congratulations mate. I think it only applies to bonuses and they have rules on that. I think they still have more surprises to offer and not gonna doubt they might came up with something special in the future. They've been generous lately and I'm hoping this will continue as they are expanding more and more.
They are at current also offering good variety of bonuses to all the players and you could see it from their Twitter handle easily and i regularly see how much the people and on site players are gaining from these giveaways. If we say about future then surely they would be having so many plans set in accordance with their latest developments of sportsbook and Rollbot 2.0 so waiting to see what they come up with next.
Rollbot 2.0 is on where ive been eyeing for yet its just a regret that i had missed out that first one and this upcoming one wouldnt or shouldnt be missed out.It is been said that it would go along on the launch of sportsbook
which is really great to hear at. Honestly this had been a good year for Rollbit yet lots of events and upgrades and perks that they do given out into its players on where it did
really make out some advantage or being beneficial but well always take consideration that we are dealing with gambling on here.
2735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: December 24, 2021, 11:00:08 PM
There’s is nothing wrong in holding and we cannot blame them for having a diamond hands to hold, they just really want to do this because they believe on the future on their holdings. Even if they are not taking profit yet I believe once they are satisfied with the profit they will sell eventually. I’m still holding with my BTC and I’m not taking profit yet, I will hold even in the next 10 years since I know its real value.
Perhaps, that was their choice, and that is your choice as well, and we can do everything that we want. I have no diamond hand to hold long, that is what I see on myself but have never been in panic selling and week hand to sell once seeing the market is down.

If we hold 10 years, 20 years, that is probably for some reason and I think we can do it if we are committed to doing it. But I have the reason also for not doing it long as I just took for the opportunity to make a profit in every bullish to come. Coz I think that holding long doesn't give me security and might possible to miss many opportunities.
Missing out lots of opportunities is something the main reason on why i dont really tend to hold for too long and to mind that nothing is assured when it comes to future talks
or the future itself of a particular coins you've been holding on which you wouldnt know if that peak or pump price would be its last and the next one would take out for
another years in counting which do really sucks if you do really wait up for that long period of time which do have a profit which is lesser compared when you do make
short trades but somehow dealing with volatility in short term is more risky rather or compared with holding.
2736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting to Risk Free Fights on: December 24, 2021, 10:21:01 PM
^

You are right, but the chance that the team with high odds wins is much smaller and such wins do not happen as often as we would like, so this kind of betting is even more risky. I personally choose the lower risk so I bet on favourites.
As a bettor then you do know about the basics and arrangement between odds which is understandable that favorites would be having higher chances of winning but just
like on what others been saying is that there are people who do make out underdog bets because they are hoping into those upsets that do really happen even though
its not on high probability but at least they are waiting for some good multiplier of their best via underdog betting but it wont be a good idea
if you dont be having any basis or research on why you do bet the least favorite.
2737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: has bitcoin achieved its goal? on: December 24, 2021, 09:33:54 PM
Bitcoin has accomplished a lot over the last few years and deserves a lot of credit for it but has not achieved its goal yet.  Bitcoin is set to achieve global protection whereby everyone will accept its use in terms of payment methods and apply it to their business and transactions.
Adoption is something that dont have that specific timeframe or exact moment on where we do consider that it is already on its full extent and dont anticipate that we would
really be going into that point on which we do see that Bitcoin would become main payment method and every merchants and businesses would apply on this one.
Knowing that it would really be in personal choice
2738  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino context on: December 23, 2021, 11:59:26 PM
What casinos context got your attention this season as many gambling sites offer various contexts I will like to see a list of top mouthwatering contexts of the moment. I know of stake.com Christmas context.

Your contest turned to context has become a discussion, I'm sure you will correct the type error the most watering contest so far is what Duelbits is offering right now over $450k this Christmas season alone if you have an account on Duelbits I'm sure you've received that contest invitation, Stake and Fortunejack launches their contest giveaways but I'm more on promoting Duelbits Christmas giveaway.
It's the time of the year where top casino in the community offer the best contest and giveaways so better check these three casinos especially Duelbits
Normal for people do have such reaction but its already understandable that he had mistakenly put up context rather than on contest basing up on the sentences that he had made or simply with the question.
Just to said again or mentioned by other users that each gambling site now does have their own offerings for his holiday season and its up to a gambler which one he would choose up on what
do interest him.
2739  Economy / Economics / Re: Dont just borrow money but for the right reason on: December 23, 2021, 10:38:06 PM
Not every rich people made returns from their every investments, I read somewhere the best ever and most successful investor of all time who is Warren Buffett even have the success rate of 6 or 7 out of 10 means you can still lose no matter how good your investment plan is. Never borrow money to invest, just make money and start investing. Life is simple but don't complicate it with things which you can't actually control.
Borrowing money to invest I think it's like gambling and it's really not recommended,
need really mature consideration to make that decision and it's not easy for sure,
investing still has risks so if we borrow money for it I think it only makes the risk bigger
Borrowing with a high interest rate will certainly make us very quickly debilitated physically and mentally when the profit has not yet come, but the interest from the loan has jammed our mind and lost the mood to work every day, therefore, to avoid such mental terror, it is better to borrow at low or almost zero interest rates. And there is no need to be averse to borrowing money, investing is also one of the purposes of making the future promising, the purpose is not to borrow money to play, equating with gambling is too much subjective judgment.
Cant imagine on the stress that it would give out when you are trying to seek out for money to repay those interest and you are just depending on one source on which you do wait for your crypto investment to have profits? You would really be fucked up if you do have those kind of method because its never been suggested to take up some loan or borrow money just because you do love to invest
although its not a bad option to take as long you do know on how to repay those without really putting yourself into much trouble. Borrow on the amount which you could see that
you would able to pay without any problems.
This is the reason why borrowing money is never advisable because you are investing in crypto with no guarantees when to make profits. Or might give you losses in the long run when you don't expect it. So its never a good idea to borrow particularly if you have no other sources of income that can help you pay even its interest. Borrowing will only be good only if you have other businesses already that keeps generating an income.

Always look for something which you could able to pay if due date comes and this is where most people do fail to do so because they arent thinking ahead on what they should gonna do but instead they do take up some loan even though the interest is high because they are expecting ahead that they could make profits out of their investment and talking about crypto that you cant really tell if the market would be good or bad
on next seconds or minutes which would possibly result neither on profits or total loss which would highly affect your situation whether you can repay or not.
2740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: December 23, 2021, 09:41:56 PM
Did you apply for voluntary self-exclusion?

If yes, then they certainly should not have sent all of these marketing emails to you and they could get into trouble with authorities if they were regulated.

I don't think that they would take responsibility, though, just because that is the industry standard right now. Though I would hope that these things will change.
Would really be bad looking for Stake if they do continue out on having that kind of behavior.I dont know if this would involved legal actions with this kind of act
but if OP would push up some actions against them then it could really be but still a hassle thing to do and op should just let this one pass and
better not to access that email anymore if hes really serious on quitting gambling for good.
