2721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Comments on deposit bonuses on: June 25, 2019, 09:43:15 PM

Many gambling sites have deposit bonuses.
However, if you receive the deposit bonus, there is a condition for withdrawal.
For example, 10 times the deposit amount, etc.
What is the reasonable condition you think?

When a company gives you deposit bonus, it certainly comes with a binding terms and conditions. Otherwise, anyone would deposit 1 bitcoin to that website and onec the bonus is paid, they would withdraw the total amount. Will it help the website in any way? That's why there are many types of terms and conditions attached with such bonuses.

The most reasonable one is, that you have to play a certain number of games before you become eligible to withdraw the amount. However, based on their business situations, additional conditions are applied.

Also such deposit bonuses are not applicable for gambling only. There are many forex trading websites offer such bonuses. Where you get $50 in bonus but the minimum to withdraw is $100. Otherwise it will become an endless circle of deposits and withdrawals, ain't it??

Yes, to be fair with gambling sites, they need to implement such rules before anyone can withdraw their deposit bonus. Otherwise, as you said, they can withdraw it once it's credited in their account. If the site will allow it, I don't think they will stay in business for long. Remember, they need to afloat in the business that's the reason why they have gambling business and not a charity one.
2722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Xiropht (XIRO): Fast, Lightweight and Portable Centralized Cryptocurrency. on: June 25, 2019, 08:52:52 PM
Fast and effective coin. Wallet is the best I have ever used. Easiest to set up for a new user. Miner is easy to use and doesn't take much time to get it up and running. The transaction speed is super fast. And the security of the coin is superb. At least 12, maybe as high as 20 layers of encryption on all levels total. From wallet, to transfer, to receiving. Best to come out in a long time.
Lot of new users in a short period of time. That is a good sign.

The features might be great, but they might struggle with adoption. Though you are mentioning a lot of new users already, yet, we will know in time if this will really hit in the market. Right now, you can't tell its real performance because users just got onboard. We will see if the enthusiasm of those users will not fade as the project goes on.
2723  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Facebook's privacy invasion is INSANE on: June 24, 2019, 11:44:41 PM
That's effing scary--and I remember how crazy Shazam was when it came out.  I was absolutely blown away by the technology, but this is frightening.

I deleted my FB account back in 2010 and never looked back, but doubtless that doesn't mean anything as far as them still having all the pics I uploaded.  Ugh.

Same here. Not an FB user anymore for so long already. But for some, it is a means of displaying their whereabouts. Where is the privacy and security that fb is boasting to its consumers? It seems that if you are an ardent fb user and posting your pics all the time, your privacy is already gone.
2724  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBet.pro - Advanced P2P cryptocurrency price movement betting platform | Bonus on: June 24, 2019, 10:28:56 PM

You mention a small fee is taken as part of the service, is this a set percentage or is it a percentage that depends on the earnings?

Basing on their FAQ.

Quote
Is there a service fee?

Yes, we collect a 2% fee to keep our service running. We only take a fee on actual winnings. There are no Deposit fees, though we charge a little fee on Withdrawals.
@OP, a little charge up for withdrawals?

2% Deduction is good but you shouldnt imply more fees when making withdrawals.

I think you can use their LN option for withdrawal so you will incur very small fee upon withdrawal. This is one advantage of having lightning network within the system, a user has the option to use that service to save satoshis.
2725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Governments decline libra but main payments accept it on: June 24, 2019, 10:04:02 PM
Wht Libra project is supported by VIsa, PayPal, WesternUnion but rejected with governments? do they see it as a danger?

Because big companies want to bet in their future, and if they see a big business like facebook working on a big project like this they will put their money on it too. Govs don't like this because it has a lot of consequences if they agree with libra they have no option than agreeing with bitcoin too. So, it's a complex game.

A lot of big companies are joining the new racket of fb because they know it might hit big because of its influence in social media. Whereas, governments are still hesitant because of the complexities involved in cryptocurrencies. They don't have the full grasp of the nature of crypto, hence, their hesitations.
2726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low marketcap gems with huge potential? on: June 24, 2019, 07:54:45 PM
I think that it is really best to pay attention to the highest-rated cryptocurrencies and buy coins, which are a percentage of the increase in your money spent.  If we take into account the price level in the spring of 2018, then Bitcoin has almost reached this level, and for ETH you still need to increase your price almost 3 times, in order to reach the level of spring 2018.  Based on this, I believe that in the near future the ETH should increase threefold. And therefore this is a clear contender for profitable investments.

If he is totally new in crypto, I would suggest do a short-term trading first for bitcoin or eth. At least he can't go wrong with this two as they are already established in the market and get the feel of crypto trading. And then, study the market trend of some of the altcoins suggested. Most of them can easily decline their value even if they have strong backing of the dev team. Traders move on from one project to another so fast. After all, it is the profit they are after for not the use case of the platform.
2727  Economy / Gambling / Re: GambleRock.com - Online Gambling Forums - Official Thread on: June 23, 2019, 10:52:22 PM

Hi! I think it's a great initiative! Bitcointalk is very popular, of course, but it's mainly focused on discussions of cryptocurrencies. It's nice to see that now there's a more specialized forum, dedicated to gambling. Are you sponsored by any casinos, though, or is this forum not related to any specific companies. I am asking, because I want to know whether you're biased when you write, say, a list of 5 best Bitcoin casinos (here), 4 of which I've never heard of. And the list clearly misses the mentions of some of the most well-known casinos, such as Fortunejack, Primedice, Bustabit, Sportsbet etc. At the same time, though, this is what forum's for - discussing and arguing. So I guess it's not a big deal. Good luck!

We will know in time if this site is sponsored by some of the online gambling sites. If the OP is familiar with the forum, all those mentioned well-known casinos should be included in his site. But for the benefit of the doubt, let us give him the chance to know more of these known online casinos and provide his unbiased reviews and feedbacks.
2728  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 10 Online Casino with review on: June 23, 2019, 10:40:45 PM
I give you link below where you can find so many casinos with reviews. If you bored with your present casino or think you need something new then you can visit this link & chose for your best one. Here you find so many different types of casino, you can easily find the best one. These casinos also give bonus money, these all casinos are top rated & best casinos.

https://www.onlinecasinobluebook.com/top-10-casinos/
Another bias list again. If you are looking for a casino that is 100% trustworthy 100% fair 100% fast in deposits and withdrawals you should be trying to sign up now in stake.com. It has variety of games you can play.
Everyone's list is biased. I agree that the op made a rather weird list that lacks a lot of well-known and very reputable casinos out there, but you mention stake.com probably because you got to know it better since you are in their signature campaign, and I will mention sportsbet.io because I got to know this one better. And I see that it was mentioned a couple of times in this thread already, but IMO it's important to state the reasons why the casino deserves a place among the best ones. For instance, Sportsbet has recently signed a very solid deal and is now going to be in partnership with Watford FC (which is in Premier League!), and I think that partnerships like that make casinos more reputable.

Agreed, because of they make a signature campaign means that they want to expand their site bigger, so they will not make something that will ruin their site. So most of these sites that players mentioned should be fully trusted, since I believe many of experience players will give their thoughts because they play there and experience on their own

The OP should update his post and include the links provided by the posters here. And it is only up to the user how he will check every single site and evaluate for himself. Everyone can endorse their favoured online casino site but the real deal might be different for every player.
2729  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is a fake bit coin bull run don't fall for it on: June 23, 2019, 09:17:57 PM
As many have said, not all altcoins become more expensive when bitcoin becomes more expensive. This is logical because everyone is trying to have time in the new run of bulls.

Because most altcoins are crap in the first place. How can a particular altcoin without no reason to exist will rise its value? Even if bitcoin is in the upward trend, most altcoins will not follow because most of them were created for dev's profits. So if people will see the emptiness of that platform, they will not be interested in trading them. So going back, I don't think the price movement of btc is fake bull run. The bitcoin's time is already ripe for this. And not driven by the hype but showing the real value in the market.
2730  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🎲MyDogeDice.com🔥🎲 | Free Dogecoin💰 | Dice Game🎲 on: June 23, 2019, 03:11:03 PM
I won't try your site but if you can ever fix and add those features and information that has been given and suggested on your trust feedback. Maybe it will change our mind.
Your site is also new so it's hard for someone to trust your site with any amount of deposit even small, be it in btc, doge, eth or etc.
Feedback was just right yet this site isn't really fair at all.Poor design and when I tried out some rolls and surprisingly all of them
are losing bets even on double payout. So theres no doubt that there's no reason for people to trust this one.
Did you take free coins? Did you make a deposit? Huh

I think whatever he used to play, free coins or not, the provably fair should be exercised at all times. Now, if I may suggest, you need to resolve the feedback given to you, else, no one will patiently play on your site. Also, please improve the site.
2731  Economy / Gambling / Re: Luckyblock - The biggest and fair blockchain lottery ever! on: June 23, 2019, 02:30:42 AM
It's under the gambling section and it would be good. Good project fair seed, more profits to come. Great job Dev and team.

I am wondering if you really know this project and if this gambling site is really working for me. Because upon checking their site, it is not operational. Now, it makes me wonder if you really read previous posts before saying something.  Tongue

2732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All you can do is hold your ALTs for a few years on: June 22, 2019, 10:14:37 PM
No, I prefer to buy alts and sell within month, then select another coin and get profit again. long term isn't for me anymore.
Only top 10 crypto is appropriate for a long term, but not shitcoins

Crap coins are not really for long-term investments. If you will hold onto it like a prized possession, you will end up broke and distress in life. Short-term trading with most of the alts will give you good returns if you know the strategies in trading.

I think the OP's mindset have changed by now because most alts without purpose have been dead already. Very few keep on struggling even with great developers.
2733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is slow in price? on: June 22, 2019, 09:57:01 PM
Maybe a few days ago, the movement of ethereum prices was quite slow to go up, but should this very fast ethereum movement be proud of exceeding $ 300 and the possibility will continue to increase because altcoin changes will also be able to help change ethereum prices.  head off to fly away

If the OP will revisit his post, his asking price for eth has been answered already. We are now hitting more than $300 and still going. Considering that his post is just couple of days ago. So I'd say, that change is not so slow. Extreme changes in price is not good anyway. It is better to have a gradual increase with substance or reason rather than steep climb with empty promises.
2734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Now I know why eSports prize pools go over millions of dollars! on: June 22, 2019, 08:54:38 PM
If you think about it, there seem to be more interaction with the "audience" when it comes to e-sports, at least where funding is involved. This is something I haven't heard with traditional sports.

If you think about it, it does allow the publisher to use less of their "own" money to fill the pool.

This is one of the reasons why esports industry is really going to hit big. I think they are already in the category of multi-billion industry??? But I know, they are already in the multi-million sector. And with the continuous advancement of technology and the young generation who are now into digital tech, no wonder this industry is like a cash cow for so many businesses.

When will submit your respective docs to get the license of your exchange? Everybody wants to set-up their exchange but getting a license is a big factor to attract traders and crypto users. With this license, they have peace of mind that they are dealing with legit exchange at the very least.
2736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers needs to control their emotion! on: June 22, 2019, 07:46:23 PM
As much as possible we must be able to control emotions when gambling because in gambling controlling emotions is very important to regulate so that the pattern of the game that we do more regularly. besides, having control when playing is certainly more able to manage the finances we spend in gambling and can avoid the risk of addiction that can be detrimental
The world is rather moving to the smarter version with businesses making use of AI and super-fast and intelligent computers to make things happen to maximize profits and minimize losses. In a world of technology, you just could not afford to be emotional and this is something that will not help you with your win but of course you will lose. Better be wise and quick in the market.

And now the rise of online casinos are very massive that gamblers have long list of options to play with. The emotions involved when playing in casino is I believe quite different in physical casinos. If you are playing online and you are pissed, more than likely you will hurt only yourself but if actual casino, you might hurt other people within the reach of your vicinity. So I think online casinos are more contained and bring less trouble. That's one advantage of digital technology that I'm seeing here.  Wink
2737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra May kill all stable coins and may be best trading pair for bitcoin on: June 22, 2019, 07:04:31 PM
Libra May kill all stable coins and may be best trading pair for bitcoin

it's a possibility. but with partners like paypal and coinbase I think they will make much easier for new users start buying crypto.
They target a much larger user base compared to the number of crypto traders.
If paypal can fully support or maybe partner with crypto, maybe it will be something that really good. Until now, from what i see is people compare bitcoin/crypto and paypal and not see yet if 2 of that kind of currency support each other.

They have large fan base already when you talk fb alone. So what they can do is how to attract those users to use their coin. There will be hesitations at first because most of them have no idea how to use crypto. But later on, once everybody is using it within their platform, adoption will come easy. But we are all speculating things here. And Libra is not even listed in the market.  Tongue
2738  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Breaks $10K Barrier – Where is all the Pump Coming From? on: June 22, 2019, 06:42:27 PM
there is no pump since it is bitcoin not some altcoin to get pumped.
this rise however is the same bull run that started months ago when we broke out of $3k range and started this whole rally. and main reason for it like always is the increase of adoption.

I want to invest in bitcoin, it is too late?

no you don't, you just want to advertise your website, I bet you won't even read any of the replies Cheesy

The best reply so far. lol  If the OP sincerely wants to invest, no need to ask the community here. He will buy on his own decision. You will find all kinds of promoters and advertisers of various crypto-related platforms because the price of bitcoin is starting again to increase in good amounts and everybody wants to be in it.
2739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: June 20, 2019, 11:56:03 PM
There are some casinos which legitimately request KYC and people accept it. I'll ask you one good question to answer yourself: Will you show your ID to random person which meets in you street? Of course no, but will you show your ID to a person that works in Bank and needs it for you? Of course yes. That's all. There are a lot of casinos and most of them are like random persons in street and there are some ones that are like official people in banks and etc. That's the whole idea and answer of this question.
KYC is not really a problem. If its the rule so every gambler should abide in it. But the question is can they give a perfect assurance that our real identities won't be revealed even in the years to come. I doubt if they can perfectly do that so as much as possible,i still go with gambling sites that still not requiring KYC.
It is a problem for the crypto world in general and not just crypto gambling. Why does anyone need to see what I look like and where I live when they don't consider revealing what' their team like and where they're located? They want to be safe from the governments but think it's okay to take player's data? That's hypocritical.

No player should be okay with the gambling sites asking for identities. Who knows what happens to your data? That sort of data is not needed for anything related to gambling in any case.

This is the most common issue of those players who don't want the KYC. The other end is seeing your private info but you can't see who's behind it. It all boils down to trust, I guess. And your preferences in gambling websites.. If you do not agree with their terms, don't play with them. Pretty simple, right?
2740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA to launch virtual sports betting game on: June 20, 2019, 11:20:17 PM
Its a little too late because most of the sportsbetting are already available on betting sites but this is still a good adoption at least we can bet directly to their site. NBA is a good league for sure many bettor will use the platform to bet on the next season.

That's true. But it's never too late in this business. Since they are carrying the official site, the trust of the bettors will always be there. So getting their players will not be hard. And integrating crypto in the near future might very likely to happen also.
