1721  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: March 12, 2020, 06:40:27 AM
Are we going to connect the Coronavirus to pretty much anything now?

But just to answer your question: In terms of stock trading, potentially[1]; but we can only speculate for now. As with bitcoin and cryptocurrency trading, I'm guessing that it will have little to no effect unless certain exchanges suddenly need to temporarily close down due to a bug and it probably wouldn't be fixed immediately assuming less people are going to be working in offices.

[1] https://edition.cnn.com/2020/03/10/business/wall-street-coronavirus-shutdown/index.html

Yes, I think when it comes to crypto trading, it is more on the exchanges itself, support or technical staff that can't attend to work. But most of these issues can be resolved online already. But maybe, if it is related to server or other equipment that needs physical attention, then that's a different story.
1722  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Italy quarantines 16 million people due to Coronavirus on: March 11, 2020, 10:22:59 PM
it's becoming a serious situation, the death toll is still rising. lockdown measures don't seem like they're working effectively

Because the spread started since Dec last year. And many Chinese traveled on that month across the globe. So a lot of people will really get infected by this virus. The lockdown will somehow help the spread of the virus but I don't think it will be contained anytime soon. Pharma should get going and release the vaccine very soon.
1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: March 10, 2020, 10:37:35 PM
Limiting doesn't really help at all because they could just cheat on their own.
Limiting funds may not bring effects to addicted gamblers, but it can be one of the ways to prevent addiction. Moreover, this way can avoid us from playing excessively in gambling and also prevent debt/loan.

The best way is to seek help from family and friends
I agree that family or close friends who can help an addicted gambler. Those people know more than others. They have a higher chance to make the gambler to recover from addiction. But sometimes, they also need experts or professionals of mental health as the OP said.

Wanting to recover from gambling addiction truly needs sheer determination and will power from the gambler. In the end, it is him that will determine the total withdrawal from this game. But yes, support groups are needed to help him not to go back again to his habit. They will serve as the reminder why he is doing such change of lifestyle and be on track to his goals.
1724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DAMMIT, I missed another profit opportunity!!! on: March 10, 2020, 01:15:44 PM
Dear this is called trading, Sometime you will win and other times you will lose so be patient, always try to sell your token at reasonable profit don't wait for the bull run.

If you will wait for the so-called bull run to come, you might never get your profit but instead you will lose your investments. No one can truly predict if we are in the bear season or bull run, it is just a matter of perspectives. That experience of the OP, it will happen again and again if he is into trading. Sometimes he will win, sometimes he will lose. But as much as possible, one should cut his losses as soon as possible and don't be so greedy that one day you will hit the jackpot.
1725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reason behind recent drops in crypto haven on: March 09, 2020, 11:22:42 PM
This theory might correct but it might be wrong too, I guess with a massive sell off amounting $210 Million anything can go down temporarily but it is starting to recover. But I am thinking that was the combination of all the bad news happening right now but I am not saying crypto is a news dependent.

We don't know the real truth about this possible cause of price drop. We already experienced a lot of ups and downs movement and whenever there is a sudden change in price, people will speculate about the sources of it. And yet we are still here, believing that bitcoin will recover anytime soon.
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 08, 2020, 07:51:26 AM
COVID-19 only affects the casino or offline gamblings since people would rather stay at home than to risk their health just to gamble.
But I don't think it would affect us or the online gamblers and even the online gambling industry.
This is one of the positive side of online gambling.

That is why global economy will take dive as business are struggling to operate in countries that are highly affected by this dreadful virus. China's economy will take a big hit this year.

Online casinos will operate as usual, I do not think there will be a big impact to their business.

The reason why  Macau casinos are losing huge amount of money this year. Though they said that they re-opened, but I don't think players have the serenity to go to these casinos. Maybe, this situation will push others to opt for online gambling and discover crypto online gambling sites along the way.
1727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: March 07, 2020, 11:17:30 PM
The last time number of Gold tokens was announced here, that was 11,000 tokens which was equivalent to 11,000 gram of real gold.
I just checked BullionStar account of Digital Gold. Seems that more physical gold have been bought. Now 19,200 gram of gold is stored in BullionStar vault.
That can be verified through the following link.

https://www.bullionstar.com/myaccount/audit
(Account number: 17081)

Indeed this is one of the few projects that are really backed by gold. I remember the Xaurum project that they have real gold possessions also but I haven't followed their developments. This one maintains its active presence in the forum. And the gold holdings are not huge so it is really affordable for the team. And with the audit in place, you know that you are dealing with legit numbers.
1728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another successful Bitcoin seminar! on: March 07, 2020, 09:59:19 PM
OP, are you endorsing Pepsi as well? Just kidding.  Tongue Anyway, small or big contribution in terms of spreading what bitcoin is, is highly appreciated. Many people really have no idea where to start in understanding what is crypto, blockchain, bitcoin and other related to this concept. They don't know who to talk to or if they are talking to the right person. There are so many articles and references that you can read via net. But discussion with real person with crypto experience is still different. So what the OP doing is really nice for these people who really want to know bitcoin.
1729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: CoronaCash token official announcement 💉💉💉 on: March 07, 2020, 08:56:26 PM
Shit token, no purpose, no usability no platform, website is not properly configure no whitepaper no team, this is a newbie stuff and he is doing it for a more scam in the future, this is how big scammers evolve, they want to test how they create token and how people look at the  token he created.

For sure, another crap token. People are taking advantage of this current virus epidemic. After one project coronacoin - https://coronatoken.org/. Now this coronacash. And looking at his website (powered by WordPress  Roll Eyes ) you can't see anything useful. Just made in a hurry to maybe catch naive users.  What is wrong with these people?
1730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡MARQUISE $MUSEUM - Waves token backed by Viking M1 Cryptobook 1% dividend/month on: March 07, 2020, 11:41:33 AM
Honestly speaking, I think you need to park this project as I noticed that no one is interested in the forum to invest on this as maybe it is a waves token. Investment in waves asset is very hard. Maybe, try another network like eth or stellar. The numbers that you are offering are good to see, but I don't think it will work in the actual scenario. Like how much the reward would be in the market?
1731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bad Exchanges on: March 07, 2020, 09:58:13 AM
4 This exchange is indeed bad. Many people have been trapped in this exchange. A lot of funds are stuck and it is difficult to return their services. It is also very bad, so it is worth the exchange to have a bad reputation.

If it's like this I will never use this exchange again afraid of being affected when I trade my account funds.

The OP might be referring to Sistemkoin exchange. Sometimes the spelling matters as there are a lot of exchanges imitating and copying the names of exchanges.

https://sistemkoin.com/

Also, I encountered this recently with allegations on sistemkoin. So please be careful in using that exchange or if possible, don't use it at all.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230892.new#new

And all the other exchanges mentioned by the OP are really shady ones. I haven't had the chance to use them because I already avoided them because of countless complaints so I can't really attest about their shady dealings. But if you can avoid them, I think it is better that way to avoid losses.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GOVM] High scalability, theoretical TPS can exceed 2 ^ 64, already online on: March 07, 2020, 06:21:27 AM
But it is not yet in exchanges right? Even Chinese exchanges? What industries do you think will be attracted with this multi-chain parallelism concept? Because the more companies using your network, the more valuable it will be in the market? Do you have companies that you are in talk with to deploy your network?
1733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BuySell (BULL) POS/MN on CREX 24 ★★★SISTEMCOIN★★★ exchange coming soon on: March 07, 2020, 01:57:07 AM

Crex 24 is a good exchange, but we need a second larger exchange.
There is no second exchange yet, at Coinmarketcap, Delta not shown Market Cap
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/buysell/
https://delta.app/en/crypto/bull/buysell

Yes, delta is not yet included in CMC. Finding another larger exchange would be good for the coin but I think, you should look into your developments as well. Very few projects can have about $10 in price, so take advantage about this great opportunity of your market. Actual usage of the coin will cement your presence in the crypto market and falling its value may be prevented.
1734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's End Game on: March 06, 2020, 11:50:11 PM
In my opinion, we are still very far from bitcoin's end. It is true, that someday, in the future, bitcoin may be obsolete because of maybe another advanced technology that will be invented. But for now, I don't see it coming for the next 10 years.

I don't see it coming in the future. The fact that there are countriew that openly accepted cryptocurrencies like in Europe is enough to get a strong foundation. And just recently India and South Korea uplifted its ban, so I don't really see it coming for now.

This is the reason why the acceptance of crypto is growing. More and more countries are being friendly with crypto. So it's like we are still in the beginning phase and not in the end phase of bitcoin. Let us enjoy the moment.
1735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: March 06, 2020, 11:25:42 PM
Bounty hunters don't necessarily have what it takes to fish out scam projects, they only become obvious if at the end they refuse to pay hunters for their work.

But what the OP listed are already red flags that you can check and look for. Though there were good projects that I encountered before that they haven't paid their bounty participants maybe because their project was not pushed thru. You can't really say what the fate of a good project will be even if you did your research. But what the OP suggested is a good start to achieve the decline of scam projects launched in the forum.
1736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling or Casino gambling? on: March 06, 2020, 10:47:03 PM
For convenience sake , majority will prefer online gambling. It's keeps the identity of the gambler without anyone knowing. But you won't mix with people, make new friends , learn new things from experts , enjoy the casino fun.

Yes, same here. When I started to learn about online gambling, I think I never went to physical casino again. Since I am not a high roller, I prefer online as the other things to be considered when you visit offline casino, like your food, transpo, your get up will be gone when you are playing at your home on your computer. But ok, consider that you still need to buy food, but it is not as expensive as when you are in a real casino, right? All in all, I do prefer online gambling because of the long list of advantages on my end.
1737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Rent A Car With Bitcoin? on: March 06, 2020, 10:02:20 PM
For me it is a good idea to rent a car with a bitcoin payment. Because I am really looking for a travel agency provides payment features
with cryptocurrency. That way makes it easier for me when vacationing abroad do not need to use fiat currency. I only need to use a mobile
phone to make bitcoin transactions. Hopefully there will be more travel agencies who accept payments with bitcoin, that way will make
the development of bitcoin also more rapidly.

This feature is actually good for travellers who don't want to bring a large amount of cash as there is a certain limit that you can carry in and out of the country. So if you can convert your money into bitcoin or other alts that will be accepted in that country where you are travelling, that would be your advantage. Anyway, you still need to convert your money to the local fiat of where you travel so it is like you are also converting your money to crypto, and this might incur lesser fees.
1738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BuySell (BULL) POS/MN on CREX 24 ★★★SISTEMCOIN★★★ exchange coming soon on: March 06, 2020, 04:32:59 PM
You started like in the 150k sats level and now after almost 3 months in trading, you managed to keep it at about 100k sats. I don't know your secret here but I have seen so many alts in crex that after few months, they really do fall hard like 1sat. What are the known applications of this coin aside from trading?

1739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Tipcoin (TIP) - The First Anonymous Social Media Tipping Platform on: March 06, 2020, 11:46:40 AM
You can tip btc, bat, xrp, or any crypto-currency on twitter, reddit or any website.
There are a lot of solutions for that need, why the hell do we need a new token which has only one utility : tip.
Seriously...
Completely different use cases. Yes, there are similar solutions but they are not what you mentioned. When I finish the app, you will see the difference. Best.

And when that would be? I've seen that I commented on your thread last year and up until now you have only 1 page so far. That is the real disadvantage of being solo. The development may come slow as well as your marketing for this project. And once you fully develop your app, the trouble of getting users is your next dilemma.
1740  Economy / Gambling / Re: New online casino - GreenSpin.Bet! on: March 06, 2020, 03:03:03 AM
You have a lot of choices in terms of payment method. Players have the luxury to choose from your long list of payment method. Seems that everything is in place with your casino site but was looking if you have gaming license but couldn't find it. Do you have one or planning to acquire the gambling license later on? This will make you a legit casino site even if you get the Curacao gaming license.
