2741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best tips for who will invest in BTC for first time? on: June 20, 2019, 09:25:03 PM
My 2 cents.

- Invest an amount you are comfortable with. Let it rest (well if you purely don't want to trade them).

- Don't panic when the price falls.

Thanks

A lot are already saying this - don't panic when the price falls. I for one, is also guilty on this matter sometimes. So if you want peace of mind and not really bothered by the price movement 24/7, invest what you can afford to lose. At least, you know that your investment is not for short-term profit but rather you're looking for long-term investments. Checking the price in the market will make you crazy. So you need to set and plan diligently when it comes to your investments.
2742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ➡️ GOSSIP Blockchain Project (GOSS) | MN+PoS | KYD Verified ⬅️ on: June 20, 2019, 07:43:27 PM
During this week I will get ready the new website and a advertising banner for Masternodes.Online. After that I will setup a monitoring system for the GOSSIP infrastructure and after that start with the white paper. During this time our team members are working on the GOSSIP home server, on the next wallet update and on the web wallet.

I can see that you are continuously providing progress of your project. However, is there any marketing strategy that you are planning of to increase the value of your coin in exchanges? The buy order at crex for example is about 13 sat. Though you are more active than most of the coins listed there valued at less than 1 sat, yet, I believe you need to step up and be ahead of the game.
2743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]⚡OSMIUM INVESTMENT COIN⚡ Presale Just Started! on: June 19, 2019, 08:41:59 PM
I see that ICO has entered round 3, so has the soft cap been reached? When will it end ICO?

Monopoly? That means you are the only company capable of managing osmium into a valuable item, but you say that osmium is the rarest precious metal and what if the material has run out, then where do you turn to your business?

No relevant information regarding the status of their ICO. As it is ending by next month, where can we see the ongoing collection of money?

Many projects have claimed to deal with precious metals or rarest metals on earth, but have you seen at least one of them succeed with their objectives? Just for you to think about.
2744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VOID TOKEN - A new Crypto hyper-deflation experiment (Supply gets Destroyed!) on: June 19, 2019, 08:37:55 PM
basic rule of this forum
posting addresses will get this thread shut down
dummy up

The dev should create a new thread in the bounty section for this airdrop or freebies. Your ANN thread should talk about specifics of your project and not be cluttered by airdrop addresses. And as he said, this thread will be shut down or deleted if your hunters will continue to post their addys.
2745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So it is happening..facebook coin Libra on: June 18, 2019, 10:37:29 PM
This is like a two edged sword, it can cut both ways, first it will likely increase cryptoadoption generally, on the other hand, it can be a starting point for competition with bitcoin, facebook already has 8 billion users,so it will not be too difficult to have a widespread use and acceptance, albeit it is a centralized coin

I don't think it will be a competitor of bitcoin. But it might really aid in crypto adoption. If fb team will design their coin to be user-friendly, fb users might adopt this coin very easily. And this will help in understanding cryptocurrencies by ordinary people who are still hesitant to deal with crypto.
2746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-SALE]★ISKRA(CCOH)★Children&Diamonds💎 on: June 18, 2019, 08:23:58 PM
1. KYC (know your customer).
Bounty participants do not need to pass KYC, because participants != customers.

2. Thank you. The team will do everything possible and impossible so that the project don't stop!
I am very happy that bounty hunters are not wearing KYC and I will participate in the ISKRA campaign and hopefully there will be no change in the rules in the middle.
You should read the rules in the bounty and maybe they will make a new rule at the end of the bounty on KYC that must be completed because many projects need KYC at this time to avoid duplicates. But it looks like your question was not submitted in the ANN thread because you should make it in the BOUNTY thread.
There will be no kyc for bounty participants, also payments gonna be done every 2 weeks, first one will be in the following days, currently I checking week 2 reports, after that team will do first bounty payment.

Yes I am happy to hear that especially with the payment of 2 weeks so it doesn't have to wait long or wait for the sale to finish.

Many more surprises await you, we have come to change the world and business relationships.  Wink

Yes, I would say give more surprises to the community. Because as I have seen this thread, it was created last year but the activity is not that much. You need to entice users to your project. And as of now, the trading in tokenjar is not so active. Maybe those bounty programs will help you create a buzz in the community.
2747  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betonline Review : Find a Quick Way to Betonline Sportsbook on: June 16, 2019, 10:52:29 PM
What are you trying to share here op?. Base on your post stated that
Back in 2006, Casino City Press stated, BetOnline.com was one among the top 60 online sportsbooks, racebook, and betting exchanges, by overall traffic received.
is you mention the site which is in "BOLD FONT" in the quote above in which you state that it's BetOnline.com which I check and look at the website's design but the website link provided in the review site is not betonline.combut the website provided in there is actually betonline.ag. I did checked both betonline.com which I think it's not the right to look or check and betonline.ag is what you can see in the review site.

From the initial OP's post, she's referring to betonline.ag. It is just a review page on that betting site. You can always read positive reviews because most of them are just paid ones. betonline.com is another betting site. From the looks of it, someone is a clone as they have similar interface. Just do further research for both sites before thinking of signing up. And don't rely on the reviews, they might be misleading the true nature of the betting site.
2748  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 Dice on BTC in Telegram on: June 16, 2019, 10:36:25 PM
Just curious why someone would play bitcoin dice in telegram? There are lots of well known and popular casino out there but why would someone choose this? What kind of benefit would someone get from playing here? How will you convince people that you are not going to scam them with their money? How would someone know that the bot is not rigged at all?
How do you know all this on other "popular casino" ?  Wink

For starters most o the casino websites that I'd personally choose would have some source proving their fairness and legitimacy. Dice over Telegram in my opinion is another easy way to make money off the back of people that do not do their background checks properly. Hence, its targetable hacking
Even if this is legit, I'd rather go on sites I trust and other people value that way I know for sure I only get the experience I'm looking for without getting robbed off my money

This is the main problem of building games under the telegram channel. Trust factor does not come easy. And to be honest, they can disappear anytime whenever they please, if they have the money from the players already. How can you run after if the channel is totally deleted? So I think playing in telegram is not for high rollers. But still, their min withdrawal and deposit is quite high for small time players. I doubt, they are getting enough players on that channel.
2749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QwartzNetwork - PoW[MN] Governance - X11 - Large Airdrops and Bounties on: June 16, 2019, 10:23:57 PM
Awww...he actually apologized. Dude must have learnt his lesson...though the hard way. Can we try give him another opportunity to prove himself and his intentions for the project? We all deserve second chances 🙏

but why -3 Trust, all 3 for the same issue? Should not be punished 3 times in a row by 3 different people. Anyone who look into his current trust will say project is likely dead, because developer cheated many times...

The trust factor may mean something, but it is up to the user how to assess the reasons why he got those negative trusts. And in his case, it is plagiarizing white paper, where most projects are already doing such kind of activity. They are not alone in this kind of issue. So it is up to him how he will revive the project and make its presence worthwhile in crypto. If he is not strong enough, this project would be a failure soon but if he believes he has something to offer to community, he will continue working on his project...
2750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to beat the household? on: June 16, 2019, 10:09:04 PM
Tell me hoestly, have you ever think about beat the household?
I first, YES, i did think about it. But never work!!

It is house edge if I am not wrong here?
I tried to beat it with a strategy I had, and I was able to beat it for longer. That said, I did it with regular intervals and it is also based on luck for me to fetch something out of what I was betting with (this is about dice). But let me tell you something, house edge is impossible to be beaten because that's the only edge that makes money to casinos and if they lose, how will they manage to run their business?
I don't think you could actually defeat it in the long run since the more you play the more you lose some percentage of the house edge while you are winning and losing. It's always a win-win on the house no matter what we do because it is designed to get some profit for the services that they've made. So, therefore, no one could not defeat the house in the long run.

Having house edge is the main reason why they can keep their business in survival mode. If everyone wants to beat the house and is successful of doing so, then, I would say they will close down their site in no time. So house edge is designed to make the gambling site be always in operations. But of course, gamblers will really try their best to beat the house at one point.
2751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH owns the key on: June 16, 2019, 09:56:28 PM
not all altcoins experience a surge when ethereum experiences price increases, and when ethereum has very cheap prices as now some altcoins actually have price increases so ethereum doesn't have the key to all this and the most influential to all coins is bitcoin

Yes, eth has significant impact in the world of crypto, but they are not the only one with great influence in the crypto market. Let us not forget bitcoin, it is still the basis of many other altcoins. When you talk about crypto, the first thing that someone asks is the current price of bitcoin. Have you ever met someone who first asks for the price of eth?
2752  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happen to bitcoin in india on: June 16, 2019, 07:42:44 AM
even the government officially forbid bitcoin, ppl will find their way to buy it.
for now there are still many countries that forbid crypto and bitcoin currencies especially because maybe the country's government is afraid of negative results to be obtained but I am sure that one day it will be needed along with the times and technology
It has been over a year now that my country forbids crypto currency too, but here we are now, me and my friends still using it without any form of harassment by government because they do not even know that we are using crypto. There are so many things that cryptocurrency is useful for than what meets the eyes of the government.

I have been trading in cryptocurrency now for over a year even amidst the ban, and I am doing very fine. SO even if their government forbids, cryptocurrency, the smart ones amongst them will still find a way out into creating a bright future for themselves through cryptocurrency.

This is actually the benefit of cryptocurrency. The government will not know your crypto dealings. Just be careful in using your internet as telecom companies might turnover their clients' data history in case your government become totally strict with crypto business. They might be addressing one problem here, the proliferation of scams but I hope they can see also the benefit of blockchain technology. It will hinder some of their advancement in terms of technology.
2753  Economy / Speculation / Re: June 2019 - Bitcoin hits 10K, where next on: June 16, 2019, 07:27:13 AM
As of today Bitcoin gained sharply in price reaching two years high crossing the barrier of $10 K. What price do you think Bitcoin would achieve in this bull run? Would it be over 20K or below?

Your topic isn't correct, it never reached $10K at least yet. On some of the Bitmex futures it hit $9600 or so however the spot markets or the perp swaps the high was $9400 or so.

I think $10K will be a tough barrier, if we break-thru it then there will be many FOMO thinking since $10K broke that $20K is next. So we should quickly go to $12-$13K.

If $20K is broken then easily go to $25K or $30K. I highly doubt we will see $100K.

Of course, $100k has a long long way to go. We should be conservative in our expectations so as not to get disappointed. Even at $20k level, this value is still hard to achieve at the moment. But I think, gradual increase is better than drastic change in prices. The market is not scary if the increase is moderate. Sharp increases have the chance of going down tremendously.
2754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao Stands as Underdog vs Thurman — Sportsbooks on: June 16, 2019, 03:07:39 AM
i think the OP meant older not younger in this phrase - "10 years younger than his opponent".

we will see how far pacquiao is prepared for this yet another fight of his career. he has nothing to prove anymore. he is already a legend in boxing. what is there to gain for this fight anyway? more money? proof that he can still fight at his age?  in any case, still interesting to watch this coming july...
Even if he younger than on his opponent Pacquiao was a great boxer all over the world. This coming fight we will see if who will win in their fight. We see it already in the past fight of Pacquiao that he has already many proven for the boxing.
You're when you said Pacman have improved in his previous fight with Broner but don't forget he won the fight with an eye injury which was said to be severe but his camp never said anything about it and having an opponent like Thurman which was among the hardest punchers things might get worse for Pacman which was the reason why online sportsbook chooses Thurman.

I really hope he will not be hit hard that he will regret of getting this fight. What is his main motive of having this fight at the dawn of his boxing career? He has everything already, yet he feels that he's still in his primetime years.
2755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Reign is nowhere near its end! on: June 15, 2019, 11:57:55 PM
I completely agree with what you are saying, that's why they are loved by the community and even the big hacked that happened seems like it does not affect the people's trust in Binance. Pretty decent project with big development, I would not be surprise if BNB token will continue rising as more and more investors are putting their money on that token.
They have a good marketing way to get over those bad incident that happened to their business, investors and traders wanted to have some securities while dealing with their trading activities and binance have that, reason why the exchange is making more traders to use the exchange.

I think what they are doing right now is like hitting while the iron is hot. Since their popularity is in good boost nowadays, they keep on feeding the crypto community with news after news even after their hacking incident. This is a good marketing strategy from their end. That incident will be forgotten and only the good things that are happening at the moment will be the talk of the town.
2756  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless Economy: Is Society ready for transformation? on: June 15, 2019, 11:01:34 PM
Reading the OP's statement contradicts the current status of bitcoin in India. If they want to have a cashless society, then integration of cryptocurrencies is one of the steps that they can look at. However, they are drafting laws to ban the usage of bitcoin in their country. So are they really ready for cashless society or are they not willing to accept the fact that cryptocurrencies are on the rise and they just have to regulate the usage but not to the point of banning it?
2757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: facebook bullshit stable coin, spread this as hard as you can... on: June 15, 2019, 10:39:38 PM
I think I need a fucking drink after trying to read this thread, and I don't drink.

Why?  Grin So much negativity or speculations? Just chill out and don't be too serious what you are reading. They are only opinion of individuals and just treat them as reading an entertainment section of this forum. People will always give their sentiments towards current issues but it doesn't mean that such sentiments will affect what is going to happen in the future.
2758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Crypto with a use case on: June 15, 2019, 09:13:30 PM
I'll like to inform you that there are some cryptocurrencies with good use cases, I don't really know much about the HST you mentioned anyway, not disputing your point. Do you know VECHAIN , WABI, NPXS and other coins have really good applications? Well the truth remains that none has gone mainstream, it's a general issue with crypto right now. Example WABI  for anti-counterfeit , VECHAIN in IOT and NPXS  for POS payments.

Most of the useful projects didn't achieve the mainstream audience because not all people know their existence in the market. They should tap right institutions to begin the exposure of their project. If they will start from a known company in the implementation of their app or product, then, it is easy to market now to other similar companies because they have a successful guinea pig to be referenced at.
2759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge rewards, less value or Less reward, big value on: June 15, 2019, 08:45:24 PM
Of course the important is the big value like this will grow by it's potential like we can easily predict that base in the team of campaign

Still if you point about ICO i think this is unpredictable like the team can spread good plan here in forum and in crypto world but this can turn bad like this can't grow or unfortunately this will scam you so better to use trusted already for investment like btc, eth, bch abd xrp

But you can't assure that those less rewards have big value in the future. How can you predict that they will do good in exchanges? Even strong projects are deemed to decline their price after couple of months of trading. And sometimes, they will credit your tokens to your account so many months after the trading has begun. So when you finally get a hold of your tokens or coins, that big value might have depreciated already. So one way or another, still difficult to join token-paying campaigns because the future is cloudy.
2760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be junk/trash after ban in 2 big countries on: June 14, 2019, 11:28:14 PM
Banning crypto in India and China will not have much effect on the price of Bitcoin because I understand that India for instance has only a little number of crypto owners compared to Western countries. Even if they decide to dump their bitcoin, it won't have much effect in the long run.
Yes. Banning bitcoin with these two countries is not enough to make bitcoin dump again and experience a very low price. There are still big countries around the globe that have legalized bitcoin and has made it into a real currency. So India and China are not really a threat to bitcoin knowing that bitcoin can still perform its task without the involvement of these two countries.

I totally agree with that. They are not our loss but it is their loss for banning the use of bitcoin. Do they really ban the usage of it or some aspects of it only? In actuality, there are still a lot of Indians or Chinese who are into bitcoin. The government can't fully implement their laws because the use of bitcoin and other crypto is not easily tracked down.
