2761  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos is it true that you forced OG to remove Laudas tagg ? on: May 06, 2019, 12:34:33 PM
Just to finally nailed it >

Taken from one of CH's countless threads...
My opinion is that I'm not going to waste time reading your huge, rambly, low-content posts which you post everywhere.

Skimming:
 - Dash is a shitcoin, like the vast majority of altcoins, but I've heard absolutely nothing which makes me think that it's a scam on the whole.
 - Lauda has engaged in some behavior which I consider unethical or sub-optimal, but she's also done several good things. It's not for me to decide how her actions weigh out on net.
 - Suchmoon is an excellent forum member.

This now should be enough as an answer.
2762  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos is it true that you forced OG to remove Laudas tagg ? on: May 06, 2019, 11:16:38 AM
Well, this should be enough or not?

If theymos really forced OG to remove Laudas tagg

He did not.
2763  Economy / Securities / Re: LoyceV's Legendary 10 Month 10 Person 10 Altcoin Investment Roller Coaster #2 on: May 06, 2019, 09:19:12 AM
Chart update after the last update:
Data from August 13 2018 til May 03 2019 (some dates are missing due to LoyceV missed to record the data)

We are going down.. Sad

Edit> Updated a bit the chart Smiley
2764  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Announcing BPIP - The Bitcointalk Public Information Project! on: May 05, 2019, 08:58:29 PM
I do not know if you have finished updating your website or not... I thought it was important to let you know that "List of most merited posts for a certain time frame" does not work.

I also came across the same error a few times now, but as I understand from ibminer the changes are not over yet. Vod also mention that there are more changes coming soon i guess this is a side effect of the new implementations.
2765  Other / Meta / Re: Cryptios on: May 05, 2019, 06:48:05 PM
BTW If Cryptios are planning to do a local moderation too and you guys need someone with Bulgarian, I'm always availabe Smiley
I can give a hand with Norwegian too, but often Norwegian comes together with Danish and Sweedish ( Scandinavian in general) and there i a bit of a fuss for me.
2766  Other / Meta / Re: How forum detect automated translation? on: May 05, 2019, 06:28:44 AM
I think the easiest way is if the native speaker who reported the fake translation describes those words/sentences that are weird/wrong and why he/she thinks that the translation has been automated.

I've reported such translations before, here is an example:
The translation to Bulgarian, but many words were in Russian.
~snip~

2767  Other / Meta / Re: Users who Created or Wiped their Trust list - weekly data on: May 04, 2019, 08:24:21 PM
I start thinking that you need your own subsection in meta soon. Theymos should consider this possibility.
Something like LoyceV's AI Research Center.
You have already enough data to fill a subsection Smiley

Damn, I'm out of smerit again. I'll come back when I get some more.

P.S. don't merit me because of ^, I'm no beggar.
2768  Other / Meta / Re: Need some clarification on last edited message on: May 04, 2019, 08:18:42 PM
I think this comes implemented from the SMF developers by default. I'm not sure that theymos would use time on this because I don't see the benefit of it. It doesn't harm me if I see my name after the last edit Smiley
2769  Other / Meta / Re: This altcoin is trying to trade merits ? Will theymos allow this ? on: May 04, 2019, 07:50:13 PM
Lol, a coin to push the quality of the posts in the forum.
No way. If you connect merit to money, the thing will go way too wrong. People already selling merit underground and it's not good.
2770  Economy / Speculation / Re: *Q2-BTC-PRCE PREDICTION-GAME* Q2 LIST GAME on: May 04, 2019, 10:43:44 AM
6370$ should be a realistic guess. It was the end of June 2017 when the crazy bull run started so why not repeat it again this year Smiley

But by June 30? Be generous, make it $10,000. FOMO has not started yet, but if it does start, $10,000 will be easy in my opinion.

I after every bull run comes a correction and this will be the correction after the 10 000 $. People still remember the last crazy one (bull run) and they will be a bit more careful... I guess Smiley

Edit:just saw that the competition is closed..Sad anyway we'll see who is closer.

2772  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Announcing BPIP - The Bitcointalk Public Information Project! on: May 03, 2019, 12:52:56 PM
No apologies necessary. I realized I was only 10 posts away, then I degraded myself to back-to-back posting just to try and catch up with my merit, embarrassing.. Embarrassed lol  so close!!  Grin

After the cool change, I wonder where can I find the mod/sec log history? Any indications that someone is banned  or changed his email/password recently?
I see the new stats for post deleted by mod, that's cool Smiley

2774  Other / Meta / Re: Using symbols/special characters in the subject that make it unclicable؟ on: May 03, 2019, 09:27:27 AM
It happens only on Chrome. Tried already Firefox, Edge, IE. If you refresh a few times you can actually click it. It happens only if it is the unread.
It's a fresh new PC almost two weeks old, no sh!t installed on it, with the last version of Chrome.
2775  Other / Meta / Re: Using symbols/special characters in the subject that make it unclicable؟ on: May 03, 2019, 09:07:41 AM
Interesting, I tried it in this topic, I put ؟ but it's working good. It may be some combination of characters or the number of posts like page 1,2 etc. I refresh the page and it was OK but it was already open, then I marked it as Unread and tried it again, it what then I made the video of the error.

Weird.

You can see on the pic below the displacement of the pages and the position of the question mark, btw the question mark itself is clickable..

I came across this topic in Off-topic section >What is your favorite food؟ Note the question mark in the subject.
Tried to click to link but.. surprise, no link Cheesy

2777  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: May 03, 2019, 08:30:28 AM
I can speak as an average user as I'm not a merit source even that I've given more than 400 merits .
I always try to keep like 2-3 smerit if I suddenly find a extraordinary post. It happened a few times til now but on the regular basis If I get some merit, I send away most of them.
Even in the merit page is written that "There is no point in hoarding sMerit; keeping it yourself does not benefit you, and we reserve the right to decay unused sMerit in the future". So at the moment I'm on 0 and I feel the relief.
2778  Other / Meta / Re: Ice bucket challange ... meh ... Rank up challenge ! on: May 03, 2019, 08:22:15 AM
@ tbct_mt2 did you find someone interesting to become challange-taker? Of course, you can give up with nominating next person but it would be great if you will do so.
I have not found anyone so far. Maybe, the challenge has to wait for self-nominee like me weeks ago.  Cheesy
Have you check this thread >  ⭐ Forum chronicle - UP Rank List - Congratulations! (BPIP Merit stat, Trust) ⭐ there is a list in the OP of all those account reached the activity but missing just some merit to rank up. This can be helpful for future reference as well. Smiley
2779  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't read it if you get offended easily. on: May 03, 2019, 07:42:28 AM
The spammers are not the only one to blame.
Bounty managers have also part in turning the regular users into spammers/shitposters.
You can't have minimum post requirement like 20/30 posts per week. This rule just push you to post any kind of shit to get your stake for the week, if you have nothing to post about. C'mon this does more damage than to make a good expose to a project.
I love DarkStar_'s rules in our campaign that you can have even 0 posts, it's freedom, you just have a natural life in the forum without being pushed (of course if you are not greedy) to post and the income from the campaign is just a side effect, not the main purpose to be here.
2780  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Any ancient history & lost civilizations' fans here? Lost knowledge seekers on: May 02, 2019, 11:57:29 AM
I am a fan of lost civilization and gnostic knowledge, if there's any link to more books I'll be very grateful guys.
You can find great deal of resources on ATS as well as some personal experience of the members posting there, it can be interesting for you.
