281  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-11]Market Survey: 41% of Americans Not Interested in Investing in Crypt on: August 15, 2018, 02:30:26 AM
So it is near 50/50, not that bad. These people that completely said no must be old people aged between 40 and above while the people who consider investing in crypto are below and then the rest of millenials said yes. But of course, they would only choose bitcoin and not the other hundreds of thousands of shitcoins out there.
282  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-14]Unhackable’ Wallet Reportedly Breached, Hackers Claim to Meet Bounty on: August 15, 2018, 02:17:18 AM
I don't believe in the word 'unhackable' or 'secured' because there's is always a way for a talented hacker to access it. Putting a bounty on that wallet just makes them more motivated and excited to crack the wallet as soon as possible. I think they need to shift the access codes or passwords to a chain of infinite algorithm.
283  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-14] Binance Denies 400 BTC Listing Quote on: August 15, 2018, 01:56:59 AM
@1Referee. What were the ICOs that were known to pay the 400 bitcoin fee on Binance? I reckon they were asking for 20 bitcoins when someone from the Aeon community inquired about cryptocoin listings.

Also, 400 - 1000 bitcoins might be an exaggeration. It would be impossible for Binance to list anything if that was their asking price hehehe.

Maybe the co-founder was just harassing CZ because they could not not get list their token in the exchange. Maybe this Franco guy threatened Binance to let them in or else and then this happened. Binance don't need 400 btc because they can easily get that with their daily volume of traders.
284  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-13]Study Finds Google Search can Forecast Bitcoin Price Rises on: August 15, 2018, 01:36:33 AM
Traditional financial markets like Forex cannot be easily penetrated by people who wanted to invest in it whenever they feel to so that's why the interest don't affect its market. While on bitcoin, when the interest rises again, people will go crazy buying at any exchange they want and anytime they want.
285  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-06]Don't Expect New Bitcoin Highs in 2018 on: August 08, 2018, 03:11:00 AM
It is totally obvious when you base on the chart. We can't create a FOMO again because those noobs have already bought bitcoin last year and they treat is as their greatest mistake so no more new money coming in this time. Stop dreaming about $50k guys because even there's a lot of good news that has came, it did not increase the price of bitcoin past $10k.
286  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-05] The truth about Starbucks bitcoin payments on: August 08, 2018, 02:58:36 AM
Well, too bad that we still need to wait a few more years to see it happen. Starbucks has a lot of customers so I hope bitcoin is just a split second when you do your transactions on them because customers don't want to stay less than an hours just for their orders to get confirmed and get what they have ordered.
287  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-07] Bitcoin Price Back Over $7,000 on Growing Support From Wall Street on: August 08, 2018, 02:38:30 AM
Complete nonsense article.

Bitcoin will continue to grow with or without wall street & it's useless etf, as it has done since day one.

Utter cr*p.

That's true but I do think however that with wall street the growth will be stronger.
There would be always an add up when institutional money would really be pour in into crypto but i fully agree that even with or without wall street.
Bitcoin can able to grow no matter what and just to add up there no price increase as of this writing yet the price is heading backwards once again.  Cheesy

We still need it to happen. It's a very good publicity to convince more investors quickly. And also we need allies and we are greatful to have them on our side to defend us from people like Warren. Just imagine having a stronger force to keep bitcoin from dropping instead of rising.
288  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-07] Bitcoin Speculators, Not Drug Dealers, Dominate Crypto Use Now on: August 08, 2018, 02:21:51 AM
I agree, criminals before has a lot of room to work using bitcoin but now different agencies find ways to track those criminals through blockchain analysis. And we all know that bitcoin is not really anonymous and criminals recognized this the hard way. Maybe some of them are still using crypto to hide their illegal activity, but sooner or later the full hands of the law will be knocking at their doors.

Criminals have moved on to privacy coins like Monero, although if you take extortion schemes like ransomware, Bitcoin is still used because it's more likely that the victims will pay with it rather than some privacy coin, because it's harder to buy the latter. This has contributed to decrease of the percentage of criminal transactions, but the biggest factor is that other uses cases have increased. What would be actually interesting is the absolute values of illegal transactions per day in early days and today.

Criminals shifting from bitcoin to monero still means that the whole cryptocurrency still dominates the means of transactions especially in the darkweb. Privacy coins should not be encouraged and should be removed in the blockchain system.
289  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [06-08-2018] Crypto or No Relationship? New Survey Reveals 75% of Millennials.. on: August 08, 2018, 02:05:14 AM
There is no way this survey is real. Even the members and traders here in our forum does not really have enough knowledge in crypto. And also nobody would want their partner to be so much focused in cryptocurrencies because it will definitely kill their realtionship.
290  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Not Declaring Bitcoin Income on: August 01, 2018, 03:18:32 AM
I also did not declare any of my bitcoin income. I will wait first for an official law that states that all of our profits from bitcoin and also in altcoins are subject to tax. But I don't even hear any plans at this moment so I'm free to encash all of it without any deductions.
291  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-15] ICO is still booming: what we need to understand on: August 01, 2018, 03:09:25 AM
Yes, new projects are still coming. But I know that their numbers decreased compared than last year where every ICO that is hyped just goes crazy in terms of investments. Some top pick ICOs by many critics only managed to reach just half of their hardcap.
292  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-31] Millennials 5 times more likely than adults to save BTCs for future on: August 01, 2018, 03:00:08 AM
I'm a millenial and I really see bitcoin more valuable and the best option for saving money. I think it is because of the mindset of this young generation which is to hustle as early as your age and grab every opportunity that is available to us. I'm sure that that term YOLO that we always say explains why.
293  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-31]BTC Plunges Below $8k Amid Unexpected Sell-Off On the Last Day of Ju on: August 01, 2018, 02:46:38 AM
Bitcoin Plunges Below $8k Amid Unexpected Sell-Off on the Last Day of July

NYT Columnist Paul Krugman Tries to Justify his Skepticism Towards Cryptocurrencies, Claims Bitcoin Represents a 300-year economic regression

Read Here: https://news.bitzamp.com/cryptocurrency-market-loses-16-billion-as-bitcoin-falls-below-8000-again/

As far as Krugman goes, he doesn't like it because his authoritarian masters can't control it.  He loves fiat because he wants power, and his socialist/communist/fascist allies are all on board to anything that gives them power and money while controlling people.

"Unexpected".  Of course it is unexpected.  If anyone knew, where it was going, they'd short it or buy it.  :-)

What's it trying to say is people is expecting more of a positive result than what happened. Everyone seems so hopeful because they remember that the bull run started in the last months of last year.
294  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-28] Giant Bitcoin Merchant Bank Posts Losses Over $130 Million on: August 01, 2018, 02:36:52 AM
It's part of any business. And they should not really be afraid because they can make more than what they lost in the next few years. Every company goes through ups and downs and they are not an exception. Bitcoins investors is still very limited so it's another challenge that they struggle.
295  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-27] Google Play Officially Bans Cryptocurrency Miners on: July 29, 2018, 03:30:39 AM
That's right because they don't get much money on those apps. They want gaming apps that will force kids to steal their parents' credit card just to level up their account quickly. Google Play don't want you to make money through mining , they want us to make money for them through their offers.
296  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-27] Only 33% of Bitcoin Payments Used to Purchase Goods, Economic Value on: July 29, 2018, 02:49:24 AM
No idea whether that figure is accurate. To me at least it seems ridiculously high. I wouldn't have expected more than 5-10% as a pure guess. Most people are parking for the long term or playing shitcoins.

Actually buying stuff looks low down the order unless you want to get rid of some free profit. And merchant options are contracting. If you take payment processors into account Coinbase have basically told merchants to sod off by making them handle their own keys and Bitpay wants to turn everyone onto shitcash.

Looks unbelievable for me too. What kind of goods are they referring to? People still hate the fees that are deducted to them everytime they use bitcoin to buy or transfer their funds. Bitcoin users prefer making a transactions once every few months or a year so I'm really curious.
297  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-25] India’s Supreme Court Postpones Verdict on Cryptocurrency Ban Again on: July 29, 2018, 02:40:41 AM
India already admitted it created many jobs so its clear to see that they are going to approve crypto. Jobs are going to be replaced by the cryptocurrency industry by majority so I guess that is the reason for the delay. They are arguing about the future that is inevatable but they also don't like.
298  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: July 29, 2018, 02:23:40 AM
The problem with KYC is you can't tell if the team behind the ICO that will conduct the KYC process is trustworthy. Why I said that is because even they hire a third-party to verify documents, participants told in this forum that they are just sending fake documents but they are still approved so that is why I am afraid of KYC.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How profitable are doing bounties? on: July 02, 2018, 04:21:11 AM
It is profitable when you find one that is hyped so much thanks to its marketing effort. It could be profitable in that way and you could earn $1k to $10k in a 4-6 months on working for the ICO like social media and signature. Translations and blogs can be made once but it's hard to get chosen but it is an easier task that is more profitable.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have received the token and I am confused to sell it? What do you think on: July 02, 2018, 03:46:52 AM
How much is it? And did the ICO hit their hardcap? If the ICO did not even hit their softcap then I would sell it right away. I would also sell it is $300 and below in value. And also considering the factor of the market's condition, I would also sell it before it drops more.
