281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much it is possible to earn on bounty? on: November 11, 2018, 09:40:16 PM
Hey guys, what do you think? How much is it possibly to earn in bounty? How much did you earn this year? I heard in 2018 situation with bounty is bad ;(

This year was a bad year for crypto bounty participants, last year was the best, almost all of the bounty last year was valuable and can be traded on exchangers, usually last year you can earn up to 800$ per bounty, but this year you are lucky if you can have 50$ per bounty, but it depends on the campaign you are participated in, if you got signature campaign, i think its more 50usd per campaign, if its tradable.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: November 11, 2018, 03:46:28 PM
They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

Sometimes, ICO rating sites are manipulative, this is the reason why some other ICO succeeded in their required capitalization because of the high rating from the ICO rating sites, but for me, it doesnt matter anyway because i  always look on the probablity that the project could perform well, if we just based on the product that they could promote, second thing is that the community support from their social media, thats the important thing for me, ICO rating is useless for me, because of the reason that i stated above.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are lazy on: November 11, 2018, 02:46:31 PM
I just wonder sometimes why hackers would not want to use their time and effort they spend to scam others on doing something meaningful and legit, to earn something worthwhile for themselves, except to rip others of their hard earned money.
Most times, what they even take illegally from others at the end is not used for anything meaningful.
Scammers should desist from this act, because karma is real.
Work and don't be lazy.

Thats is why they called scammers and hackers because they dont want to exert full effort on the legit jobs, they are sometimes called the brainy guys. The only thing do for that case is to avoid them, there are certain moves in order not to be victimized to this types of guys, scattered all over the web, the only point here is they exist because we are exist too being a possible victim. Lets be more cautious in everything we online.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters are not beggars on: November 11, 2018, 02:03:14 PM
I hate to see bounty hunters beg for tokens, after working to promote a project.

Some people would say that bounty participants are given free tokens and so they feel they should not be treated well and perhaps not be paid.
Even if you do not invest your money directly into a project, you have indirectly invested money.

- The time you spend in promoting a project is much more precious than money, because time spent or wasted cannot be regained, while money can still be regained even if wasted.

- You have spent your energy and effort. As a matter of fact, there are people that sleep so late at night, just because they are trying to promote a project. Except you feel you are not honest enough.

- The electricity used, internet facilities used and other amenities used are paid for.   For instance, in my country, there is no free internet facility and i spend so much on browsing data.

All of these if looked into sometimes and the cost implication made, might be much more than the money anyone might have invested directly into a project.

Therefore, you are not to beg for tokens, you are also like any other investor, who has invested his/her money.

If your services are not needed as bounty hunters, there would not have been any token allocated for that.

The right word is claim and not beg.

You are on point, the case is some people called us beggars because we beg the management in exchange for the effort done, but we could not change that, the point is, we have the right to claim whatever remuneration we had in exchange for the work we've done in the course of time, i think people should understand that there are no more free at this time, everything is paid in money or in any other type, as long as you do your job as a bounty hunter.
285  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why did you have faith in btc? on: November 11, 2018, 07:50:45 AM
Seeing btc going down for quite some time now, I thought people will be withdrawing their investment to shares and others business. But it amaze that btc is gaining more popularity and people are still rushing btc. What is the secret behind btc?

BTC is in placed as the number crypto currency, there is no point that it could not recover from the depreciation of value, the only that i can provide exact reason is that, the number of users hoping and using that currency this time, we are millions of users trading on it, so i think that reason could give me hopes that btc still be the most liquidated crypto assets during this time, in the near future BTC is more precious than the others.

287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency is your future? on: November 10, 2018, 11:05:29 PM
Hi guys. I am in the world of crypto-currency for about a year, actively began to develop in this area a month ago. Blockchain and cryptocurrecy I was dragged out and I'm now very interested in learning something new. I want to hear your opinions.
What place does crypto have in your life?

At some reason, crypto helps me a lot, honestly i dont have a fulltime work, i am just doing bounties and do some trading online for crypto, crypto really gives me a means of living, and i could say that in the future i hope it could give me a permanent source of time, and i think all members of this community do hope that somebody their invested coin would give them more profits as well, as i do.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When I received the token, should I sell it immediately, or what? How do I judge on: November 10, 2018, 09:33:03 PM
When I received the token, should I sell it immediately, or what? How do I judge its value?
help me !
guys!

The time i receive the token, i just monitor the prices in the exchange market, if its good to sell then i do, but it depends on the token we are holding, if its a good project, i would definitely hold half the portion of my token, i bet all of the participants have the same strategy as well, they hold some portion of the token to their MEW wallets, and as long as its a good project, it takes some months to year to build the project, also it takes months to hold the token as well.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your problem in the bounty? on: November 10, 2018, 02:01:52 PM
what's your problem when you undergo a bounty? or can you say what obstacles do you sometimes feel lazy to do or work on a bounty? perhaps all of you have some obstacles which you can share here and might be useful for others. please share your experience Smiley

The sad thing about doing bounty is that sometimes project really dont pay, from the days, and months of working to a certain project, it came out that after the campaign, it takes months to claim the token, and some of the managers as well never care the participants. One time, we have project called CAVIAR, and until now, we never received the token, its really frustrating because everyday we do the work to promote it in the social media.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake ico and bounty on: November 10, 2018, 12:37:15 PM
Pls what are the best way to detect fake ico and fake project... We can't continue working to promote them and later discovered that it is bounch of fake... We really need tools to detect fake ico

Its really hard to detect those ICO's and bounty because this scammers are professional, they way do their job., as a bounty hunter, all you need to do is to go on the feedbacks from other participants, we cant really prevent this to happen, it will happen without your knowledge, just be cautious and study well before you engage in a certain project you wanted to part.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you make money from ICO? on: November 10, 2018, 01:40:23 AM
An initial coin offering is similar in concept to an initial public offering (IPO), both a process in which companies raise capital, while an ICO is an investment that gives the investor a cryptocoin, more commonly known as a coin or a token in return for investment, which is quite different to the issuance of securities as is the case in an IPO investment. Do you invest in ICO? and has you make money from it?

Based on experienced yes, of course in the sense that ICO offered the low price per token, but talking how much is just a little portion of my profits in daily trading, ICO's nowadays are not that best compared to last year, this year was the worst year for ICO industry, scams are everywhere, so i am not investing so much on it. I would still suggest on daily trading rather than investing in ICO's and then barking for the wrong hope that you could earn big profits.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable Coins Necessary? on: November 09, 2018, 10:15:33 AM

Currently seems every project or crypto company wanna create a stable coin now, except USDT, currently we have GUSD, TUSD, PAX.

But do you think it's really necessary to have so many stable coins?

Stable coin could help the crypto community from possible bad market condition and also from their investments in other alts, the good thing about this stable coin is that, it allows the community to invest more of it, as long as the price of this coin is constantly stabilized, it drives more users to use and invest in it.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people/users are afraid to invest in Crypto? on: November 08, 2018, 11:18:09 PM
There are many things most likely to consider whenever you're investing money in crypto..

These are:
1. Volatility of the Market.
2. They don't have the knowledge about crypto.
3. Negative news that they see or hear in social media/TV Media.
4. They were scammed and afraid to invest again.
5. Threats of hackers in the internet.

But users can also protect their computer from hackers by using:
1. Virtual Private Network for Internet Protocol
2. MetaMask Wallet
3. Not saving any private keys in your PC.

All statements are correct, community are not yet well informed, about what crypto could bring in our life, there are lots of factors also to consider in investing crypto, but im gonna like about some universities is they are offering education when it comes to blockchain technology, the more it educated, the more knowledge be shared into the community.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stopped trading. 3 reasons why. on: November 08, 2018, 10:45:15 PM
1) Too much stress.

Yes, I believe you understand me. My mood depended on one or another token value. I couldn't work sleep and eat. I was checking value for 15-20 times per day. I could not live like that any more.

2) Too much time.

Again, when you are checking value for 10-15 times per day it takes a lot of time. I was always tired and exchausted.

3) I started playing blockchain games (not gambling).

It could be called another addiction but I don’t care. I do like it much more. It interesting and funny. It seems like blockchain games take too much time and money. However, it’s not! Trading and bounty take waaaayyyyyy more!

UPD #1

I've noticed a lot of questions about blockchain games. Here is my games list on product hunt https://www.producthunt.com/@house_lama/collections/blockchain-games

UPD #2

There is a good blockchain shooter War Field. it’s 100% not scam so I can send it here. you can read details about this game here (I don’t send direct link to their website not to make them advertisement) https://gameunculus.io/blog/96

It depends on how you employ the strategy in trading, but it also a good move that you are out of the stress now, taking a break does not mean quitting the whole thing, you deserve something better, and plan for the next strategy.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins are dying on: November 08, 2018, 12:03:54 AM
what do you think about altcoin,do you think is the time to buy? am afraid because all my money is heading to zero.. Angry Angry

If you believe on the project you are investing then nothing should be worry, whether it turns to 0 or depreciating in its value, but if you are doing short term investing, then you should be worry by this time. Altcoins in the market performs not the best as we expected, but intelligent ones, taking the advantage of it, by buying below the price, and selling in the high price in due time, so better take your moves differently and take the rides.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto legal in your country? on: November 07, 2018, 10:48:12 PM
KYC are done to prevent members of some countries from participating in ICO because it is illegal over there. Does your country permit you to participate in ICO?

My country Philippines allow us to participate in any of the ICO, because participating in any form of investments online, is not yet regulated, so people are free from participating in any of it, as long as we are aware of the possible outcome, a loss or a profit, it depends on how you study  in any type.

298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategy on This market on: November 04, 2018, 04:03:01 PM
Like most of the longtime holder, I also have lost a huge amount of my portfolio. Now I am thinking of day trading so that I can recover my loss. hat is the strategy you are following nowadays. Holding or Day trading? How can I be successful in day trading? ANy tips?

We are the same too, being a long time holders, gives us a worries for value depreciation, lately i am involved in day to day trading of my assets, as long as it gives me even a little portion of profit, i would sell it. Small profits can be bigger if it employs a good trading strategy, i always have this strategy, reading the graphs will help us understand whether when to sell and when to buy, there is no overnight success in trading, some part, we loss, but some trades we win. Small amounts of profits can recover the losses.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your future plans with altcoins? on: November 04, 2018, 03:48:49 PM
Hello there,
For the bear market, everyone's portfolio has decreased significantly! Many people are still holding and some started trading! My question for holders, What are your future plans with your altcoins? Will you start trading or you will be waiting? But remember one thing, a lot of coins price won't be the same like before ever! Many coins are scamming or dying! So, now what is your plan?

Been holding a lot of altcoins since i started bounties, but one thing for sure, if it reaches the target price i would definitely sell my tokens, a lot of projects nowadays are now becoming dead and abandoned, which makes me worry this time. There is no good future for projects that are not sticking to it roadmaps, so better sell, whenever it gives us even a small profit.
