Just like an account where one's fiat currencies are kept so also is wallet where digital assets or cryptocurrencies of crypto lovers are kept. Can the wallet be vulnerable to hacking and if possible how can that happen? If you have experienced it before, I want to learn from your experience.
Are accounts online even banks are vulnerable to hacking, that is why, our secret keys, passphrase, seed keys, etc and we are advised since the beginning to keep it safe in a secured place, in order that nobody can have accessed to our accounts, some people never understand the importance of privacy that is why, they experienced hacking, i have a friend, who is not securing his login details, and his wallet was hacked and he never retrieved his money, so i learned a lesson from him, that is why, i keep it secured all my transactions online. |

I personally do not believe this statistics that 99% of ICOs are scam, because some ICOs fail do not mean they are all scam. I usually tell people that starting an ICO is like starting a new business, it might succeed immediately, it might fail presently but have a great future and it might fail totally beyond redemption. So because a project is failing to perform presently or fail totally do not mean it is a scam. Don't get me wrong here, I never said there are no scam projects but the rate is not as high as alleged. Judging a project based on its first few years is wrong, give it time to realize its potentials.
Not all ICO are scam, but ones the developer is a scammer and ended up all his project could be a scam, its always different, meanwhile talking about an ICO, yes it is not scam after all if its failed in ICO, remember that the life of the ICO depends on the token sale performance, many projects successfully done their ICO but ended up being scam, but also many ICO failed in their token sale, but continue to do their projects, ended up being the best coin in the CMC, i remember one time, where i participated a bounty but only half of the tokens were sold, and they continued their projects, but now, the price of their token is much more higher than the rest., so we cannot judge the book by its cover. |

RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN A BOUNTY CAMPAIGN = HIGHER PAYOUTS
The limitations can be done in two ways:
1)Quantative — when a max number of participants is set and no one is allowed to join after that.
Example: Max 1000 entrants in a facebook campaign
2)Qualitative — when the requirements are raised up by the bounty managers.
Example: Minimum 500 followers to participate in an article/blogging campaign.
I agree on this one, but its very rare for some bounty projects to limit their participants from participating in the projects, because the rule, is to scatter the awareness to the community, thats why, the higher the number of participants, the better to the projects, compared to a few number of participants promoting the projects. |

Predicting too much numbers may dissapoint us somehow, we just need to watch the market and be updated. There will be corrections due to recent pump of price, that may forlong the climb of price even in 5 digits. However, we see now that many still waiting and holding for bitcoins next ATH.
We could not still say, its high because if we see the history of BTC prices, 2018 was so low, hitting 3000usd above or something, but to think that the price almost hit 9000usd this year, we could still say, its far okay compared to last year, i still get your point, but the main thing is that, we should learn to play the game, rather than watching the price movements in the market, we should learn to apply our strategy in order to make profits. |

I ve seen many threads asking whether we are entering into a bull run or market will crash again. To me, the bull run is already here but it takes only experience to identify it. One key characteristic of the bull run is that, every drop is an opportunity to buy. During this period, the probability of earning profit from your investment (whenever there is a drop) is far higher than the probability to lose. Don't sit down and wait till Bitcoin hits 20k again before you realize we are in the bull run. Try and make enough profits now that the market is booming before its too late.
Market is gaining more price increase lately, this is the time to manage well our strategy, one thing to understand is that, its our time to think whether we could sell it or hold, remember that the market has recently having a huge increase, so think it wisely before its too late for you sell, depending on your strategy, market is not favorable sometimes, and i believe we are silently moving high, as far as i understand on the market situation, just play while the iron is hot, otherwise you could lose the chance of having profits. |

I'm still wondering why developers will organize airdrops and distribute an amount of tokens which is far lesser than the minimum amount of the tokens that can be deposited on an exchange for trading. If you don't want the users to cash out the money, why do you let them waste their time?
Airdrops is a part of marketing idea in order to gain more supporters, in this case, the reason why it is lesser and its a small value is that, it will drive the emotion of the holder to buy more, when its listed on the exchange so that he could sell it, and when he see that the project is gaining more popularity, this is the time that he will buy more on the tokens and might be able to invite more users on the project, actually airdrops is much advantage compared to bounties, it has lots of advantages, but after all its a marketing technique and strategy. |

It is no news that rewards of bounty campaigns are getting lesser by each passing day. Many still feel that the reward will increase when bull run come but i doubt if there will be any changes to the reward because developers and teams have now adopt the less reward as a strategy to protect the price of their token. Many bounty hunters are crying everyday for a better reward which will not likely come. I see bounty rewards more as a privilege than a right. Many at times if the token has been listed before the reward was given out,there may even be a reduction especially when the token is doing well in the market. The question to my fellow hunters is that, why cry over spill milk? when you can actually produce as much as you want. Do you know you can make much more than your bounty rewards trading some of those token you have promoted. I have made nothing less than 300% of my bounty rewards trading some of the tokens i have promoted,one of such token is Vanta (VNT). I made 500% of the money i invested participating in vanta trading competition on Allbit for 34 days which is 2000% of the bounty reward that i was given,why many were complaining of the bounty rewards,i was smiling to my portfolio. Why limit yourself to bounty rewards when there are other areas you can explore. The more you waste your time crying over bounty rewards the more you will be blind to other opportunities around the project. As bounty hunter my advice is
1).Take time to monitor closely the progress of the project you are promoting to see other opportunity apart from the bounty reward
2).Be ready to invest when opportunity present itself.
With the number of bounty hunters increasing by the day,the reward is more likely to reduce than to increase. The earlier will accept that and move on the better for everyone of us. We should understand that, crying for unrealistic rewards can make developers and teams to promised unrealistic rewards.
Reward will still depend on the number of allocated tokens and the number of participants in its project, yeah its normal to think that rewards could better, because we work on it day by day of promoting a lots of project, and i hope that together with the rewards, the value of the tokens itself could also be better, because thats the most important thing, but if the project is good, and with the lesser number of rewards, it could be better because, the lower the rewards the higher the value. |

I woke up this morning and just wondering how i can be of assistance in this race of making the ICO clean, because ICO is not what is bad, the scam being done is what is making ICO bad.
So let us pick it from this point, a scammer draft a whitepaper to get people's attention, innocent investors pays money to the scammers through Ethereum address, the scammer gets the transfer into his own wallet, he then transfers it to another wallet on a local exchange that will convert it to FIAT and transfer it to the scammer's traditional account.
What if we trace it from here, at least the account was transferred to a wallet, Local exchanges should be able to scan through their database to see the bank the scammer transferred the money to when he requested for withdrawal, at least investors knows the address they transferred the money to, which can be disclosed to exchanges to use for further research.
To make my point clearer, let me use an example, MR JOHH has ETH in is abc123 wallet, i asked MR JOHN to transfer money to my account from his address, the token from MR JOHN abc123 wallet landed in my wallet address abc700, and then i transferred it to the wallet address of my local exchange abc800 which is LUNO to chnage to FIAT and transfer to my account, LUNO should be able to trace my details to my bank since they have my KYC done already and since the receiving bank too has the details. i.e abc123 to abc700 to abc800 to scammer bank, bank to be contacted throug legal means to disclose the scammer information for authority to use.
In my own idea, there is no way we could predict the identity of scammers as they are professional in their field of work, we as a community should be aware of what we are engaging with, its up to us to become a victim.or not, its just a matter of self awareness, thats the most important thing in this field. |

You must be wise in your dealings. Know when to sell when not to, even while being patient.
Also know this, you are not here to promote and sell alone, you can also buy and make good profit from the coin you have bought.
Being a bounty hunter is always an opportunity for you to be able to recognise good coin and understand such coin so well than any other person.
Apply what you know to get what you want and what is best for you.
4. Spirit of perseverance
As a bounty hunter, you should not allow yourself to get tired or go weary, because of the present situation of things. Always look beyond the present time. Look into what the future hold.

Let's start with the fact that just after almost a year and a half not many can earn money on bounty, and this is a very ungrateful job. I think this year the situation will not change, and it will be still difficult to make money on bounty.
What to do? Is there a way out?
Yes, there is one single way out, this is work on yourself for free, spend all the time that goes to the bounty for self-education, the study of new trends, those that require intellectual activity.
For example, out of 1,000 people performing the bounty, 70% will continue to fulfill them in the hope that in the future they will get rich. 25% will simply come out of this whole story and the cryptocurrency for them will only be experience and memory. But only 5% will understand that this niche is only developing, and experts, experts in their field are required here, they will start exploring other ways of making money, it could be programming, marketing. And of these 5% only 5 people will not give up and will work hard to reach their goal.
What I am talking about, people give up very easily, without even trying, losing their chance to gain experience, possible earnings. If you just think about the fact that very low% of people really try to achieve something, then theoretically everyone can achieve anything, you just need to make the effort and time.
Thus, those people who may not even be very capable, but they have motivation, they understand that nothing is impossible, they reach heights.
I did not try to convince anyone or something else, I just wanted to talk, to express my opinion on this matter.

We are now in an era of IEO, where a lot of investors and traders are looking forward to participating in different IEOs in order to make their profit.

Please i want make a quick inquire please. can there be any possible hope a shit coin to come back alive. i participated on an ICO that are responsible for reinventing dead coins. the project is known as coin janitor. they believed that there are tokens that are good but was closed down due some factors like market dump or no finance which lead to the demise of the token.
Could there be any means by which a dead coin can be resurrected again ?
Those coin that you mentioned is already dead, and it cannot be reinvented, its just a waste of time, money and energy. In my own idea, i think it depends on the project or tokens to be normalized, several reasons like the finance is the most important part on the team and developers itself, and community support on the project as well. Some dead tokens is impossible to retrieve in its positions, and we need to move on. |
