281  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Plagiarist, Ban Appeal and the Forum on: September 18, 2020, 11:47:18 AM
Plagiarism is one of the punishable crime in this forum. Many users have been banned because of plagiarism and yet, there are always user who commit this violation over and over again. But why?

It is because they want to make their reply more smarter than other users or they just want to fill up their weekly signature post by copying someone`s post. It is the result of being lazy in creating own good post and depending upon the article they have been read.

Actually, we can avoid being plagiarist by just citing the link or reference of the quotes or even article we have post. In fact, it may add some credibility regarding to the point that we want to emphasis. As long as we have our own opinion, using someone reference and citing the author will not make us plagiarist anymore.

The scenario of bounty campaigns in BTT.

1. They are creating an attractive bounty thread which have large amount of bounty pool and many exchanges listed after the sale. They also accommodating the bounty hunters which want to join and promote their campaign.
2. At the middle of the campaign, there are few changes to the campaign and some additional tasks.
3. When the bounty ends (the part which I hate the most), why? because this is the time where the campaign changes a lot. They modify the percentage of allocation, date of listing and distribution. They always saying that hunters dump the project, wherein fact only 1% of the pool is in the hands of hunters.

They keep on promising as until the time where we don`t follow the project and they will announce a new wallet etc. Which in the end, if you did not pass your new wallet, you won`t receive the payment. Bounty is really a hell to hunters. I don`t know why we are dedicating ourselves and effort in promoting those shit bounties.

I already disappointed to the system of bounty campaigns, they are really fraudulent jobs in the world. I don`t say all bounties but only 1% are really genuine and caring to the hunters.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [SXP] Swipe Speculation on: September 17, 2020, 04:34:09 AM
Finally, I found a thread regarding with swipe speculation. I hold this coin for more than few weeks, I bought swipe at 1.5 dollars and sold the half of my swipe at 4.2 usd. This coin has a good future. Imagine, if it will be listed at coinbase and successfully launch its mainnet. Probably, it just need a momentum before its price move up. The number of their partnerships and development is a good sign that swipe can be in long term hold. There are just many fudders around the telegram group specially when it goes down.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My 0.1 BTC Journey on: September 16, 2020, 11:33:03 PM
So it took you six months to accumulate $1,200 worth of BTC? I'm not sure what's so impressive about that.

I personally dollar-cost-average (DCA) my way into Bitcoin each month through Coinbase. I've been doing it for around 4 years now, I find it's much more simple that way.

For anybody who is considering doing something similar. I sincerely suggest simply using DCA to buy into Bitcoin, don't wait for crypto payments...
Whether it is small or big, we have to see how OP managed to do his plan. We should not believe the money or btc he did but how he dedicated to follow his investment strategy. Who knows how big his capital?

My suggestion to everyone out there is to invest as much as you can in bitcoin. Since we are in very uncertain situatoon and Bitcoin may be our new savior.

That is what most users here suggests. Better to invest as much as we can in bitcoin over time. In the future, its value is something that we will never expect. But it would much better if we invest in other popular cryptos too. It is best not to invest in just one crypto and try to divide our investment into different crypto.
Invest as much as we can but we should be ready to lose that funds. It is really risky in investing cryptocurrency because no can predict it directly. Therefore, we can`t really decide on when it gonna be pump and withdraw our investment. But I am pretty sure that BTC will reach and overpass its ATH soon.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 16, 2020, 02:05:36 PM

Or Denver at 6? That would be a bigger surprise. Isn't it?

would be quite a surprise, but i do not expect it
Lakers a bit better than Clippers, and certainly have more experience to calmly bring the game to the end, Clippers found out that securing a win after +15 is not that easy as it look like when you speak about it
Don`t underestimate the Clippers. They have Kawhi which grabbed the MVP in spurs and made a champion in Raptors. They can smash Lakers throughout the series and may won the 2020 NBA season just like what happened to GSW last championship. I do not doubt in lakers but they should not be more confident because celtics and clippers are really working good. I want to see a series which is more intense and exciting. We can`t say it already that Lakers will win the series because the ball is round.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEFI begin new trending or end soon? on: September 14, 2020, 11:31:11 PM
Hello everyone!
At this moment, i think Defi is a hot word. Do you think this is beginning a new trend or will be end soon?.
I am a trader, but i have earn a lot of money from Defi coin by ICO, i do not  think Defi trend can go long time.
As we all know, changes in cryptocurrency is inevitable. Once there is a hype, investors and traders are supporting it. Take a look back during 2017 where ICO was hyped and 2018 where IEO began also. They are all faded right now because of the new defi hype. Maybe, this is year is for decentralized finance projects but there is always an end. Hopefully, all of us can ride this hype and take profits from the coin that we bought in the market.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Laws of Bitcoin on: September 14, 2020, 09:23:48 AM
Even though I did not yet read this on reddit. I followed some rules written on that. Just like having a double up to quadruple check in the address where I will send my bitcoins. I am proudly to say that in my 3 years of existence in this industry, I did not yet become a victim of wrong sent address. I always check the address before I going to send. In addition, I do not give my private keys since from the start even to my relatives because I know that if i will give the keys then that wallet is not already mine. Because they have an access already.

These rules should be followed and it should be spread so that newbies will have knowledge on how to avoid loss of funds.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: fortunejack withdarwal delay on: September 13, 2020, 11:55:31 PM
deposited 1 btc wagered it and won 2.4btc and i made withdarwal for 1.4 btc and i havent got it yet waiting for it since few hours

i have been playing fortunejaack since 3 years  am bit worried since its 1.4btc request if they will scam me or not....

Don`t worry fortunejack is running for couple of years and probably they won`t let their reputation goes down because of few btc. I have withdrawn also btc before when I won in fortunejack the dice game, I think it was around 0.005 BTC and there was a delayed for couple of hours. It was due to BTC networking clogging and it needs some confirmation before the transaction proceed. It is normal and you have no worries about that. Once it has confirmations, you will receive your withdrawal funds.
290  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't use your bitcointalk account password on other websites on: September 13, 2020, 04:10:40 PM
Actually, having an identical passwords in different websites will put you in a risk. Because hackers can easily access your account in any websites you may attended. This is the reason why I want to generate different passwords with strong security so that I can avoid loss of my accounts. My password in BTT is different in my password at binance or any social media app. There are many people have been victim because of their similar passwords and it should be a lesson for all of us that putting a strong password and different in any websites will put as away in harm.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it getting late to buy crypto again? on: September 13, 2020, 03:37:24 PM
Actually there are no specific time to Invest In crypto as long as you know what you are entering and you are ready in all possibilities because if not?then surely you will end up crying inside this market.

You can Buy now and wait till the end of the year,or buy now and go with the Flow of grow and fall of market now.

Specially those Defi projects look at LInk the price goes up so fast but fell down after a while.
Seems like your thoughts are contradicting. You said there is no specific time yet you said that as long as you know when OP will enter. It means that there is a specific time where we could buy coins in market. That is when almost all the coins are in sale. If you bought for the last few week, you have already 30% gains in BNB or other coins such us YF and ELf right now. Don`t worry OP the show will just starting and after this month, bull run will approach the market.
292  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without setting stop loss (Risky or Not)? on: September 13, 2020, 02:18:39 PM
Back when my noob days in trading, I thought that holding coins are better than selling it in your loss. But when I saw that the market crashed hardly, I realized that I need to have stop loss in order to prevent a massive damage to my funds. Yes, it could be more risky when you don`t have stop loss strategy in trading because the market crash instantly and recovers for a couple of time. However, if you are long term trader having an average down is the best strategy that fits to you.

294  Other / Archival / Re: What will happen to bitcoin on a world war? on: September 13, 2020, 06:22:49 AM
In my opinion, a world war is literally the worst thing that can happen to humanity, with or without bitcoin.

Wars happen because countries can't pay up their debts, so they "pay up" this way. (Again, in my opinion, no misunderstandings)
In a war, the fiat loses its value. I had a discussion with a friend about what could happen to bitcoin in a war. He said that it will surely collapse. I am not so sure about it.

Although, think about it for a while. In a world war, the last thing someone has is access to the internet. Would bitcoins lose their value?

History has shown that gold is the money that "reborns" fiat. At least after a war. I would like to read some thoughts.

We don't actually know what could happen to the bitcoin when World War happened but for sure it will have a huge effect on the market and on bitcoin.

In my opinion, at times of war transactions are important since it would be needed to purchase firepower, but not actually sure since there are so many currencies that could be used at this point aside from bitcoin. Money is important if you want to be protected. Or in the times of war bitcoin could easily be useless since most of the time it is all about surviving and it might affect bitcoin market price making it useless in some countries. But I guess it depends on what situation the war would make to the world.
I don`t think it would an advantage for bitcoin when there is a world war. It might be used in purchasing or transacting but probably, economy will fall. As a result, most of the companies will not be able to run. Many businesses will shutdown and cryptocurrency as well as stocks will be affected. In the end, there is no good that world war brings to the world aside from depopulating and fighting the individual rights and wants. Bitcoin will probably fall because investors are fear to trap in a falling world economy.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SushiSwap - THE FULL STORY?! How this Uniswap clone is WINNING!? on: September 12, 2020, 05:21:29 AM
lately there have been a lot of people fomo about Sushi farming system on uniswap and it has created a big movement. After that, the volume on Uniswap seems to focus only on Sushi / ETH because the farming system is too good with extremely high interest rates (more than 5%) per day. But after separating, do you think they have enough finance to pay interest to investors in the long run? Sooner or later, this farming system will also collapse and Chef Nomi wants to gather a larger amount of money to escape. Be careful, this farming system is really unstable and very risky.
Definitely, it is harmful to put money without proper knowledge in farming system. It might end you up in loss specially when these coins move down. I only bought uniswap for an hour then sold it out because I don`t want to lose just like what happened in 2017. I also heard some news about sushi in telegram that the developer of this coin sold his coins when it moved up. In addition, the sushi developer is anonymous meaning we don`t know their real reason for hyping the coin. This is really risky and if I were you, do some research in investing in farming coins.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: European Crypto Exchange Hacked For 5 million dollars 😱😰😢😢 on: September 11, 2020, 11:59:40 PM
Another correction will come to the market.
It is really now normal that exchanges were hacked and stolen by large funds of hackers. We should be more careful in selecting exchanges and importing our funds in our wallet is the best thing to do in order to prevent losses of funds. This is the reason why I want top exchanges because they give an importance not just in liquidity but in security of our funds as well.
297  Economy / Economics / Re: 2020 Money is king Again Good news on: September 11, 2020, 11:28:43 PM
Money is king Again!

skills, Work ethicks... And Values is Going Down and Money will rise Up school education becomes also pointless.

Only Thing what will matter is Money!!

Your health is what matters right now I guess because of pandemic and of course your money can’t help you on that so don’t think too much about the money and stay healthy for now. If you have a lot of investments then the money will work for you. Money is not the king but its one of the basic necessities to stay alive nowadays, but never treat this as above anything else.
I agree with you! Health is wealth. Money is useless if everyone in your home is at hospital. Definitely even you have lots of bills, it will disappear because of the hospital bills. Besides, you can`t bring it when you died in this world. Health right now is a gem. If you don`t have sickness, you can work and you can gain money. We should not make the money as our God because someday it might disappear. But the health, family, values and happiness should be emphasized because we only live once in earth.

299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hacked Exchanges since 2011 on: September 11, 2020, 07:50:21 AM
Great information you have there, I was a victim of cryptopia hack, I lost 278 usd in several coins including btc, eth, ripple and a few erc20 tokens.
Its rather unfortunate that this things have to happen, i dream of running a big crypto exchange company in the future, but when i look at all this hacks and all the money all this exchanges have lost, I get scared and discouraged  Sad
What a miserable experience. I was also a victim of scam exchange before but I only lose few coins in cryptopia. Well, it just a lesson for us that we have to move our coins in our wallet once we buy in exchange. Many exchanges were already lose traders because of hacking and poor security. However, this is not the reason why should we stop in trading or even discourages. Because part of the game is to lose. It just a matter of selecting better exchange that has security and liquidity.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Ways to Hack Bitcoin on: September 10, 2020, 03:42:35 PM
There are 2 proper ways to steal (not hack) bitcoin:
1. Fool people to either send you their coins either give you their credentials/private key/seed. (Or make an ICO, heh).
2. Force people to give you that (see the 5$ wrench security issue: https://xkcd.com/538/ )
of the 2 ways that you mentioned about the right way to steal but not hack are the most common and widely used ways today. especially those related to ICO, IEO or the like. We know that ICOs, IEOs are ways to raise funds quickly. There are more and more fake ICOs and IEOs with scam projects that can trap everyone. making ICO or IEO is very easy, when you get a lot of money, they scammers will run away with a lot of money.
This is the most easiest way to scam people using crypto. I remembered the time when ICO and IEO ran in this industry. Almost all projects were hyped and many of them were sold out. But as the time passed by, scammers made a way to earn using fundraising. Until the time that investors quit in crypto because their capital was gone. Right now, it brought a damage to the entire ecosystem of crypto. Genuine projects were failed because no on wants to risk anymore. If there is, they only give few allocation for their investments.
