281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dangerous insights on bitcoin Investor on: March 23, 2024, 03:24:56 PM
What stupidity. I feel sorry for this guy. He was very, very unlucky with his parents. And probably precisely because he did not have a relationship with his mother, he did not tell, or maybe it was his parents who did not allow him to gradually tell everything about his occupation.
You know, real parents, especially mothers, will always be on the side of their children. Bad or good. This must be done despite everything. And just because the parents, due to their lack of education, were ready to send their son to prison by calling the police, this guy should be well offended by them and start living separately.
In the end, firstly, we parents are responsible for how we raise our children, and it is our fault if the children cannot trust us.
282  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bunny Loader ver 3.0 - most crypto wallets are being targeted on: March 23, 2024, 02:01:11 PM
Who most often becomes a victim of such clippers? And now is precisely the time when these software programs will be successful, in the bad sense of the word. Bounty hunters, fans of those companies that require you to enter your email, fans of giveaways, are ready to give up their documents and reveal their identity for a few cents, not realizing that all their data will either be sold or simply leaked onto the network.
Everything stems from computer security illiteracy. Therefore, regular viewing of news sites that highlight new inventions by scammers will be a good way to stay unharmed.
283  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you feel when you earn merits in your post or replies. on: March 23, 2024, 01:37:52 PM
Look how the newbies rejoice at their first merit. Surely many were similar in feeling. However, someone who strives for a very long time and works hard to achieve his first merits, wondering why they are given to him with such difficulty, is very different from someone who does not think about the number of merits. And this behavior relieves tension and doubts, as well as uncertainty, but in a strange way makes it very easy to obtain merit. Don’t demand much from people; if someone doesn’t appreciate your post, it doesn’t mean it’s bad. Accept the fact that you are being read, and this is much better, since you may be helping someone who is just learning to understand the forum.
284  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and it's holders in our society on: March 21, 2024, 04:33:45 PM
It is precisely because there is such chaos in the country that Nigerians, more than anyone else, need to adapt to harsh conditions, namely, to always be on alert. I know that there are problems with the Internet, with additional gadgets, and with work in general. People are forced to feed their families by earning cryptocurrency, and at the same time, they fear the actions of the authorities. Madness.
But, as they say, what doesn't kill us should make us stronger. Therefore, always remove all the little things that can compromise you. If you have laptops, use TrueCrypt to encrypt your work drive and disguise the rest of the space as a gamer's drive. If you work on the phone, there was a great offer to create a second space.
Don't tell everyone about the forum. Instead, make up a different story. We often see different types of presentations about someone teaching in school about Bitcoin. Is this always necessary? And won't this play against you?
If the police think they are cunning, you must always be three steps smarter.
285  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: March 21, 2024, 12:00:07 PM

286  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AZORult stealer targets crypto wallets with a sophisticated HTML smuggling on: March 21, 2024, 11:23:47 AM

Well done, this is exactly one of these ways that smart people get scammmed, it turned out that no one is ever smart after all, when it comes to PC i don't want to know how strong and smart you are, its easier to get compromised, one thing will lead to another and you will be left to start asking yourself a question about how you did something wrong..

Even if you are using Linux you can still make a mistake, we are not AI or machines, we are human and making some mistakes will always be a part of us, the only way to stay safe from scams like this is keeping your crypto off your computers.

Using a smartphone for everyday internet surfing is even more safer than using a PC, I take me one time to format my smartphone in two years after purchase but it took me 13 times to format my PC in two years, this is having antivirus installed.

Malware attacks, trojan and spyware's, everywhere, you can't always be safe from all, but this is less or even way lesser on smartphones, now back to crypto, its better to keep your coins in a hardware wallet that don't need a PC to function, make sure its offline type.

I don't agree. It probably all depends on human interests. I don’t communicate on social networks, I don’t download anything from the Internet, I don’t use personal email everywhere, but only where I confidently know the sources that can send me a letter.
If you use Linux, you basically don't need an antivirus. But again, it all depends on the user. Games travel to porn sites, of course, will populate your computer with various viruses, but separating browsers, namely the use of sandboxes, and of course, separating financial life and simple surfing, the meaningfulness of what you want to see from the link offered to you will remove the fear of receiving malicious software.
There are several computers and several gadgets in my house; I don’t remember when and what I formatted, causing harm to hard drives, especially mobile devices (this looks like paranoia). Grin
But I don’t argue or dissuade you from loving Windows, although I will very much disagree with the conclusion that viruses are everywhere. But I always give permission for updates that are required for security
I always remember the expression: “A monkey with a grenade is always dangerous!”
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How old would you be by 2140? on: March 21, 2024, 08:03:30 AM
Every single one of us on this forum right now are millionaires. The amount of Bitcoins we own right now is worth millions by 2140. The truth is that none of us would be able to spend the money on goods and services since 2140 is outside our life expectancy.

Well, we all have the opportunity to leave a good memory for our great-grandchildren. Just as with inheritances, which are considered family heirlooms passed down from generation to generation, we can help our next generations become better people or live better lives. Leaving just a certain part in a separate place will make a great gift, right? By no means am I turning into a madman who never spends something for himself, but it is quite possible to keep a small part for a long time. For memory. It's sad, but I think we would all be happy with such a gift.
288  Other / Meta / Re: Poll: Colored Text Usage in Forum Posts on: March 21, 2024, 06:55:37 AM
The way you behave OP only shows your age as a teenager, from which you cannot get out. From post to post, proving to everyone that you don’t care about opinions is also an indicator that you won’t be able to prove yourself better than responding with rudeness and disrespect for society. The desire to stand out and be different from everyone else can be a good quality, but not where it causes inconvenience. I don't want to offend you; however, you should also treat people with respect online; otherwise, many will ignore you, which will ultimately lead to self-talk.

You asked for an opinion, and you saw it, so accept it and find better things to express your “I”

And yes, I am also against it. While you see that the majority vote is against using the color of the fashion community, why don't you switch to normal orientation in your posts? Grin

The payment for week 218 was sent: https://www.blockchain.com/ru/explorer/transactions/btc/edf53b70565290fa8366ebca4b5221d198eb85d34026608053a45636b7428aad

The bonus went to:

  • GreatArkansas
  • The Cryptovator
  • Upgrade00
  • lovesmayfamilis
  • KingsDen

Thank you, every one!

It seems to me that there was an error with the payments, and instead of 30 dollars as a bonus, you sent 60. Thank you, of course, but if this is an error, I would like to return next week's payments.
Thank you. Smiley
290  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Develop to maintain your bitcoin holding anonymously to the core. on: March 20, 2024, 03:34:24 PM
In a case scenario where friends are gather they normally talk about different things which lead to arguing and bragging (crypto currency & Bitcoin) who has more asset they do this to lure you out and spill the bean how much is in your possession. People who are wise understand the scheme going on but most people just want to get along the flow eventually spilling the bean.
Now if something happens to that person's Bitcoin/Altcoin who is solely is responsible?

That's right. Boasting happens to people who are not self-actualized enough in life, and by talking about their investments, probably even increasing the number, they try to seem successful and businesslike. But the mistake is that people can hear everything differently, and someone who is too talkative may be in danger, even, one might say, threatening the life of that person. There are very few people in our social circle whom we can trust the most; everyone else will only rejoice at failure, no matter how harshly it is said.
I often say that modesty is a good quality; you shouldn’t be something you’re not; on the contrary, you need to be simpler so that people don’t have to envy you.
291  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Success is a meaningless word without failure. on: March 20, 2024, 02:17:05 PM
You can imagine it a little differently. A smart person will learn more from the mistakes of others, figuring out the right steps to avoid making their own mistakes. A stupid and self-confident person will go through lessons every time until he draws conclusions and takes a closer look at what others are doing. Therefore, it is true to say that success will not come without losses, but the number of losses is different for everyone. Many people write that confidence is needed, but it is not as terrible as self-confidence, which forces a person to commit rash acts.
292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Contest: Predict the exact possible bitcoin price for 22-3-24 and win merits on: March 20, 2024, 10:05:28 AM

same what I thought and I am asking why the Mod didn't close down this Merit giveaway? if it is allowed as it looks like why to give OP a neutral tag?

Such a tag will be very useful for the OP, just for inattention. He was online but didn’t bother to check what people were writing about in his created thread.
However, if you look at the history, he has some ambitions to present himself as a source of merit, as well as personally sell space for signatures, which can be seen in his reviews and inventing that his account was once hacked.
Based on all of this, I think the OP knows something we don't if he's living in the past tense and isn't going to think about reality. Grin
293  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AZORult stealer targets crypto wallets with a sophisticated HTML smuggling on: March 20, 2024, 08:53:05 AM
As far as I understand, the stealer hunts for Windows users by installing a shortcut in the form of a PDF file. But we must already remember that the files themselves have the PDF and DOCX extensions often carry the danger of viruses, and it is always not recommended to open them unless you know who could have sent them to you.
One thing I can recommend is to be attentive to your clicks on links so as not to end up on a phishing site. Use a virtual machine if the file is very interesting and necessary, but it’s better to start learning Linux.
294  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seeking Community Insights: Building a Community Around a Blockchain Project on: March 20, 2024, 08:34:55 AM
How are you going to find a community to support you if you don't advertise your project? Are there people on your team who have previously had successful projects in their history so that investors can rely on their reputation? Your website, your roadmap, and your white paper also need to be very informative, without resorting to plagiarism or corny AI phrases, to get people interested in what you have to offer.
In addition, the community often appears on social networks, but these should not be fake bots with the same advertising posts.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is investment a necessity or a want? on: March 19, 2024, 02:38:42 PM
Investing should be a choice for those who care about the future, but if your money is spent to the detriment of your health, you will soon pay twice. You shouldn't sacrifice your health by buying coins, especially if we think that the OP created a thread in the section about alternative coins. When buying alts, you must understand that they can fall in price at any time. You can worry about buying Bitcoin instead, but that expense should also be money you might not think about for a while. If we talk about the emergence of new coins during this period and the decision to purchase these coins, then it is safe to say that most of the new projects appearing during the bull market and the upcoming halving will be scams. Fraudsters do not sleep; they will create dozens of scams to extract money from naive investors.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ~~~When did you first heard about bitcoin 2024 Halving edition~~ on: March 19, 2024, 12:15:56 PM
A frequently encountered topic, especially pressing before big events. I learned about Bitcoin early, almost after various kinds of faucets appeared, or payment in Bitcoin on sites where it was possible to receive payment in digital currency.
But not having the desire to understand the many zeros that seemed large, I did not pay any attention to Bitcoin. But as happens to everyone, we come to Bitcoin along different roads and at different times. Even now, seeing the regrets of some people for wasted time, there is still room to experience the feeling that you own what is limited in quantity.
297  Economy / Reputation / Re: Anonymity of Bitcointalk forum members on: March 19, 2024, 11:32:34 AM
To remain completely anonymous on the Internet, you need a good understanding of each action. But here on the forum, if you don’t want to talk about yourself, which sometimes happens, you may be recognized by other coincidences that you may not even suspect. In particular, your social networks or your telegram address. Did you know that it is possible to find out your IP address by clicking on a link sent to you by email or social network? According to your identical nicknames, which people out of habit can use on the Internet, doing something stupid and posting their photos and data. Therefore, if you want not to be associated with any part of life in your real life offline, always understand that once you leave information or photos here, the archives will remember everything, and perhaps those who need it will be able to track you.

298  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: platform verification request m.bitmartst.com on: March 18, 2024, 10:31:50 AM
A site that was created three months ago but claims to be the real name of the Bitmart exchange. OP, you own a rather impressive amount and know how to trade, but you don’t see the errors in the interfaces. In fact, there are many scam sites on the Internet that pretend to be other exchanges, and it is very imprudent to simply trust the opinion or words of a stranger on the Internet.
It was quite an expensive lesson. I regret. Every time, I am convinced that trading is not for everyone.

299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop paying money to learn trading when you can learn it yourself on: March 18, 2024, 09:50:46 AM
I’m not sure that your third piece of advice in our time will be considered volunteer work, but, that is, I won’t find a single person, especially on the Internet, who is willing to spend time on me for free to teach me what you think is a successful strategy. This is a utopia. The days of free promotions are long gone. Today on YouTube, people create videos only to promote their channel, which means you won’t find any secrets there either.
But I agree that with careful and patient training, you can comprehend the science of trading, but you must have a good nervous system and an analytical mind to draw conclusions from your mistakes and build your strategies.
300  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Quickest way to earn merit? on: March 18, 2024, 09:24:08 AM
I'm new here. What's all about this merit count? How is it earned? I'm assuming it's linked to the quality/usefulness of your posts/replies? Their originality maybe? What are usually the subjects you'd get the more merit for posting about?

As a newbie it doesn't matter how quickest you want to earn merit, you want to say you just here to earn merit without understanding the forums or getting to get More knowledge about what this board forum says, you're a newbie but you have earn much merits so far Isn't interesting for you , take a look at my I haven't gained a single merits yet with my fellow senior members but still it doesn't stop me from trying My best I won't give up is just a matter of time merit will come when it's time I believe in, better late than never just keep doing good work it will come on expected.

I'm new here. What's all about this merit count? How is it earned? I'm assuming it's linked to the quality/usefulness of your posts/replies? Their originality maybe? What are usually the subjects you'd get the more merit for posting about?

You're a newbie has I am but you have earned a lot of merits so far and I think you're happy I know you work hard and take a lot of effort to earn your merit I'm sure with my hard work and dedication with quality post and replies I believe I will earn merit someday it doesn't matter if I don't have it now but I will keep on making quality post to ensure I don't give up so that people will see my hard work and be able to give me merit I believe in that.

Merit is needed to rank up and it can be given by anyone who has it to give. As far as the quickest way to earn it, don't worry about trying to earn it. Just post normally and be helpful on the forum and participate in conversations where you are knowledgeable. Merit will come when it comes.

I am so much impressed with your words, it gives me motives and courage,I know it's not  easy to earn merit as we newbie but we can't just be complaining on getting merits when we don't get to understand much more about this forum to gain knowledge about the forums, he's a newbie but he as earn much merits so far tho I don't know how good his posts are but merit don't matter I will also be happy if any of our senior high ranked members can give me merits ,but is just a matter of time merit will come when it's time we just keep making good posts I believe I will gain merits someday.

Buddy, you've flooded this thread with regular replies to OP Grin. But look, the topic was created last year, but you bring it up every time. Is it worth it? Maybe you need to move on.
Try to learn about Bitcoin, read and communicate in other sections, and do not get hung up on one issue with merit.
But today, yes, as you said, you will get one merit as motivation. Don't make people feel sorry for you. Move. Move and learn.
In addition, there are forum rules. Read 32. Posting multiple posts.
