I understand there are issues, and a relaunch makes sense, but will you honor the already mined coins?

That's not how relaunches work. Previously mined coins are useless.

I know, wishful thinking but seems like dev is honoring. Issue is my coins are still stuck in pool without payment..

Yes, I was wrong, though it was unexpected.

Right now, at what stage is your project?

It's in the scamming people stage out of the scamming people stage.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ROI Coin | CPU Only Solo/Pool Mining | Staking & Term Deposit on: November 10, 2017, 04:41:06 PM
Fuck no!

This coin is a nice breath of fresh air, it's really awesome... or so I thought until I've seen the premine.

60,000,000 coins or 500,000 blocks of premine is unacceptable in 2017. That's the equivalent of 694 DAYS OF MINING EVERY SINGLE BLOCK. The coin would only have to reach 23 satoshis/ROI for the "investor" to break even - that's how stupidly high the premine is.

Disregarding the staking/locking potential of the premine, the amount alone is just waaaay too much centralization. The investor can make or break the coin anytime he wants.

Why not go with a staggered reward/fee? For example, every 720th block that's found a fixed reward would have been automatically sent a reward/fee/return to the "investor" for a few years?

It's just so dumb to cripple such an interesting coin with a retardedly huge premine. This coin will never live that off.

The dev is basically not in touch with reality; defending the almost unheard quantities of premine, deleting highly critical comments and he's a proud Bitconnect advocate so his scammy mentality is deeply rooted.

I think anyone who isn't dismissing the coin after seeing the amount of premine shouldn't be in crypto at all because this is pure cancer.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin Cash going up like hell? on: November 10, 2017, 01:27:56 PM
What is happening to Bitcoin Cash at the moment?

It's already on 850$ and seems to be increasing more and more. Anyone knows the reason for that?

Segwit2x suspension / cancellation is driving people/traders/miners who really do want a larger blocksize and lower fees
towards Bitcoin Cash (which has 8mb blocksize and lower fees).

I think some cash will also flow to Dash now, which will soon have 2mb blocksize and pretty much the lowest fees of them all.
This is a battle of value of store (Bitcoin) versus value of usability (Bitcoin Cash / Dash)

It's absolutely pointless for Dash to have 2MB blocks, their current blocks are empty as it is:

Or: https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/dash-size.html

Based on eyeballing, the avarage blocksize seems to be roughly around 12 KB which is only 1.17% of the full capacity.

So it's kind of just a marketing ploy than anything else.

Otherwise I agree with your assesment.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WTF is going on with BitcoinGold??? on: November 10, 2017, 10:31:57 AM
It's a very amateur project which supposedly will launch its mainnet today at 19:00 UTC: https://bitcoingold.org/bitcoin-gold-launch/

I'm confident that it will have issues though.

288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 08, 2017, 11:27:05 PM
A GTX 750TI GETS 13+ SOLS/WATT--

I get 75h/s with 38 watt. How do you get 13sol/s? Best algo on the 750ti is monero with the sp-mod. 300h/s on windows 7...

And which coin is using the script algo scrypter? Smiley

I HAVE NOT MINED SCRYPT SINCE 2014---

But, CBuchner and his code earned my first LiteCoin on my 750ti cards in Spring, 2014.  It took a few weeks, and it was worth about $20.  Currently, my EVGA 750ti SC cards (single fan, no 6-pin connector) are mining Monero at 11-12W each, 180H/s, with tpruvot's CCminer v2.2.2.  My EVGA 750ti FTW cards (dual fan, single 6-pin connector) are mining Monero at 15-17W each, 250H/s.  I am able to push a pair of 3GB EVGA 1060 SSC cards (dual fan, 1 8-pin connector) to 295Sols/s each mining Equihash at 115W per card.   They are in a closed tower case with an 8" side fan.  That rig is Win 7, and uses Excavator .  Excavator allows for nVidia core and memory clock control, and there is no fee.  I am getting 20-30Sols/s per card better hash than with EWBF.

If you saved the few donations that I sent your way, they'd be worth $1-2 thousand dollars today.  Right now, I can't afford your fee.  --scryptr

EDIT:  Edited for "sp_" elling.       --scryptr

750 Ti's are still 60w cards, not 38W - as I have always said it in this thread more times than I can remember.

If nvidia-smi reports 12 watts out of 38, that's actually 19-20 watts (out if 60) because the figures are percentage based depending on the built in maximum (60w). Also, at 77% power limit (which is the lowest for some flavors of cards) it will use up to 47 watts. So ~236 H/s at 15 watts is actually using 24 watts. Not much of a difference alone but with scaling it does add up and hash per watts are not that amazing (understandibly so for 28nm fab process).

Check at the wall to confirm.

63 days mining worth of premine... That's big, (but not 694 days worth of mining like retardROIcoin)

Why do new crypto coins moving backwards?  Even two years ago such premines were unaccepted.

Will there be an ETA announced or will it be more like a ninja launch?

Bounties for a New Windows, Linux and Raspberry wallets 1000 HEL each.

That's a good way to distribute a malware ridden wallet and also paints the project in an unprofessional tone.

The name Helium is already taken by a Spreadcoin fork and there's also Helium 3 - both with the ticker HLM.

New York Agreement Agreement.
294  Other / Meta / Re: two subforum for annuncementes on: November 08, 2017, 11:13:28 AM
I would. Or even just separating coins and tokens.

But that's the problem, where do you draw the line on what categories should be made and how many?

Which is why I'm pretty sure it won't happen. Otherwise we'd already have separate categories for premined/non-premined, PoW/PoS, etc because they also used to be suggested to be separated into different subforums.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sewgit2x for better or for worse? on: November 08, 2017, 10:16:45 AM
Forks might cause confusion and uncertainty but Bitcoin Silver for example is to make Bitcoin mining Decentralized again. And this was the original vision. I'm sure this can't be bad imo. Bitcoin Silver will provide an opportunity for countless new people around the world to participate in the mining process with widely.
Isn't this what the crypto community wants?

But it's pointless, Bitcoin Silver, Gold, etc. won't ever be even comparable to Bitcoin. They're just riding the coattail of Bitcoin.

Nobody wants to switch over to a new project which only differs from one small thing from what works and established.

Forks like these aren't different from the hundreds of altcoins that were all created to take over Bitcoin except these are that much dishonest, opportunistic and even lazy because their blockchains aren't new but copied from Bitcoin.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitconnect on: November 07, 2017, 10:43:21 PM
Did its price really went up? Or is it just a made up number coming from their exchange and broadcasted to coinmarketcap?

Their exchange is new and only deals with BCC and so they can report any number they want for the price and volume through their API and that's enough for coinmarketcap to get listed and the numbers accepted.

By the numbers ~95% of the volume is done there, they're likely also change the price to their liking which nobody will ever know.

I was getting crazy trying to sweep wallets, only now I can see the mainnet is not online Smiley

Strange that you say that btg was added since a couple days, I checked multiple times a day and I got an update only a few minutes before I posted, I hoped the coin was finally launched

It was based on this tweet: https://twitter.com/CoinomiWallet/status/926272318942466048
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sewgit2x for better or for worse? on: November 06, 2017, 06:43:35 PM
Will sewgit2x play a positive or negative role for Bitcoin?

What are your thoughts on this matter?

IMO any hardfork is positive for the whole market. They are like quantitative easing at macroeconomics.

Wtf are you yapping about?  How can a hard fork like Segwit2x, that's as contentious as they come, be 'positive' for the whole market?

And I don't quite get the comparison with 'quantitative easing' part.  But please do explain more and enlighten us.

This. How could these snapshot forks could possibly help?

All they do is cause disruption, confusion and uncertanty. I know a bunch of people relatively new to Bitcoin scared of using Bitcoin because they don't want to miss the free coins coming with the next fork. Or they're naive and believe the propaganda of forks and they become certain that Bitcoin will die and BitcoinX-fork will go way beyond Bitocin's current price and they do so without a decent understanding of crypto basics.

I can't possibly name a single positive coming from snapshot forks.

299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN-GOLD Dev's Have Now Entered "Denial Mode" Deleting BTG Problem on GITHUB on: November 06, 2017, 06:34:19 PM

BTG BTCGPU BITCOIN-GOLD

Developers have now entered the final phase of BITCOIN-GOLD demise, DENIAL

Rather than admitting things are getting worse daily or that the TESTNET is a 100% failure that there will never be a operational MAIN-NET, they are now just deleting any and all complaint or reported problems.

The testnet is hard coded to go live mainet 7NOV2016 @ 0700 UTC, yet the TESTNET doesn't even work and 50% of the code is non-operational.

They now have multiple testnets on GITHUB, but the code is clearly getting worse and not better.

What else did you expect, honestly? All these Bitcoin splits are half-assed amateur failures.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally you can claim your bitgold on: November 05, 2017, 11:57:39 PM
Coinomi just added bitcoingold a few moments ago.

To claim your bitgold just download the app - or update it - and sweep your private keys (or your seed).

Finally!

They added it a couple of days ago but BCC is still in TESTNET mode and there's no ETA on the real launch.
