281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lot of gambling sites are scams ! on: February 27, 2024, 09:08:41 PM
A lot of fake reviews websites are the ones misleading people, a new gambler will want to find the best casinos but fake review platforms will show up while they look around the internet for answers, and they will have very bad experience later with the bad online casinos.

My advice is beginners need to take their time when doing research, lack of patience is why many gamblers stumbled on a bad online casino, they don't take their time to do their own diligent research.

Before choosing a casino, first make sure that the casino is real, keep doing some digging, and you can just use this forum to make your choice too, there is not so many scam casinos on here, the little ones I know are restricted, and given red trust, there is no space for a scam casino to run around on this forum.
282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling between the past and nowadays on: February 27, 2024, 08:32:06 PM
IMHO, gambling in the past is like a luxury.

Life was too easy and non-toxic before and when you're an upper middle person living with a good job, people wouldn't think bad about you because it seems normal for that status to get engaged into it.

That's in my opinion guys. But if we look at this time, even if someone doesn't have a good life status and don't have a good way of living or doesn't have stable income, when seen to be a gambler. There's already the stereotype with that person that he/she shouldn't gamble at all.
Where are you from? Out of this world? My parents always warn about gambling, they always make sure we don't participate in it, they make use believe that gambling is evil, I get it, they did that for our own good.

These are old people, they believe that gambling isn't normal but in your own world it seem normal, it's not today that gambling have ruined many people, maybe not in your own country but it happened in mine, the in old days, people see gamblers as lost souls.

They don't want to get involve in them, been a gambler is like a stigma, even before I was born, and you are here talking like this? Toxic people are everywhere today, the old times are better, more peaceful but it still doesn't change their gambling outcome, they lose and they win, just like now.
283  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Microstrategy’s X account gets hacked, $400k stolen through phishing scam on: February 26, 2024, 09:34:36 PM
There is no escape about this one, I believe that newbies will keep falling for this and that's why these scammers are getting more encouraged to keep doing this to innocent people, there are many newbies that knows twitter only for crypto related things and they don't know anything about Bitcointalk forum, how are they going to be saved?

The lucky ones will find their way to this forum but many won't, and I don't see many warnings on google about crypto related scams that's pointing directly to twitter as the den of hackers, many newbies will keep falling for it.

Even when they get smarter and learn, there are still millions of people that are yet to be into crypto, and they have no about what's awaiting them in this crypto space, it's such a mess, with scammers taking advantage of people like this, for many, it will be discouraging, the first time experience can never be missed, newbies will always be a victim.
284  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CAN I BUY CRYPTO ON EBAY? on: February 26, 2024, 07:09:06 PM
EBay is for getting gadgets like phones, computers, TV, and others, it's not a crypto exchange, if you want to buy crypto you have to find crypto exchanges, like Binance or HTX, among others, if you are looking for a way to sell your gift card for BTC then you should find platforms that deals with gift cards like bit refill or Remitano.

If you have any gift card you can exchange it for BTC on remitano for example, they are not like Binance exchange and other crypto exchanges, I think you should relax and learn about crypto exchanges and how to trade first, to avoid making some stupid mistakes.

Many people have lost money this way, even on something like paxful, so it's better to do your own research first before using any platform online, there are so many scam websites online this days and only doing some research will safe you.
285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shocking rate of women interested in gambling. on: February 26, 2024, 06:00:52 PM
Erase the shocking part from your title, because there is nothing shocking about it, unless you can provide some proof that indeed so many women are now gamblers, even in the US, I have seen so many addicted gamblers looking for a way to break free from their addiction, but only very few females are present.

Sorry to say, women would rather harlot around than to keep losing money, haven't you noticed that women don't like losing money? They always get married to their bank account, men and women both want more money but men are more willing to risk all they have to make more money, but not women, they will rather look for how to increase the amount they have by not risking their money at all.

Only very limited numbers of females are into taking risks with money, if they start losing money they quickly freak out and quit taking such risks, men will prefer to keep going until it almost take their lives, I am not saying there are no female gamblers but the numbers are still very small compare to men.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it ethical to break your gambling rules on: February 26, 2024, 04:42:39 PM
You are still on the right track I believe, if you can come on the forum and create a topic about what you might be doing wrong about gambling, that's complete self awareness, and that's very important as a gambler, you will become more careful when you are aware of your actions in gambling.

Most gamblers who want to make a lot of money with gambling don't reason like this, they just move forward with everything they have, they don't have time to think about their present and past decisions in gambling, all they want is to see some jackpot dream becoming a reality.

My advice is to stand your ground and keep risking only what you can afford to lose, stop looking at others gambling activities and luck ratio wise, when someone is more lucky than you there is nothing you can do about it, limiting your gambling activities is far more healthy than everything else as a gambler.
287  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Paying using bitcoin on: February 25, 2024, 04:39:36 PM
You called Legder Nano a cold wallet? I don't think so because you need the internet to send your bitcoin from that wallet to the receiver, and also Ledger is a closed source hardware wallet, I don't know why every newbies are making decisions themselves, why buy Ledger? Anyway, there is no turning back now.

You will receive a special Bitcoin address if you are shopping on a online marketplace that accepts Bitcoin as means of payment, all you need to do is either scan the QR code and send the exact amount you are told to pay or copy the address manually, it's not hard at all, it's just like moving Bitcoin into an exchange address, roughly the same.

After sending the exact amount, wait for some seconds to minutes, the marketplace payment service will detect incoming transaction from you, and viola you will get your purchased product once the transaction block is completed.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shared games helped you before? on: February 25, 2024, 03:31:34 PM
It has happened to me just exactly the way you narrated it but after such winning I kept trying and trying with the hope that I will win someday but to no avail, so what's not your luck is not your luck as sometimes as much as you keep trying that's how you will be running into too many losses so just play as you can be able to endure and if you ain't winning then you give a break and start some other time rather than chasing losses and keeps losing more.
You can actually win later if you keep trying, there is nothing wrong with try again and again, but there is a catch, and that's about the amount you are using to do the try again and again, lets just belief that you can't ever win anymore, and you have been trying with $5 but you decide to listen to me, it will favour you if you start using $1 to do the try again because you don't know what will happen next.

It's better to keep losing a dollar while trying again and again than to keep risking the $5 on every time you try again, that's like x5 of a dollar, the one dollar amount will keep you going for a longer time than risking $5, so it's very important to lower not just your expectations from gambling but also lower the money you are risking on gambling.

Your expectations in gambling is what is controlling the majority of gamblers, not how far they are willing to try their luck using very affordable amount of money, don't look at others because they just won big amount, they won't disclose to you how much they have lost before they win, focus on risking only what you can afford to lose.
289  Economy / Gambling / Re: I've Made Millions abusing Exploit in a Crypto Casino - AMA on: February 25, 2024, 02:41:19 PM
If this isn't one of those made up stories then there is nothing else like it, what I don't quit get is why OP is trying so hard to confuse us that the exploit was real, you want to hear the real fact? There is no point talking about the exploit if truly its working for you.

If I happen to have an exploit and I am able to make so much money off it like you claimed you think I will be forcing people to believe me? I would rather be traveling around the world already, there is no point telling anyone about it, I won't even feel like talking anyone.

It's true that this will be hard to believe, because many have tried the same just like you but can we blame them? I don't even want to start asking you from proof, I don't need it because it's pointless, it's not as if you are going to teach people about the exploit, I think that's why we are all here? To learn something new? Never mind.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Phase Or Are You Slowing Down Your Gambling Activity When.... on: February 25, 2024, 11:04:39 AM
I'm talking about religious activity..

The Christians have the Holy Week and it lasts for a whole week.

The other religions I did not mention have activities or festivities that their followers and believers must observe.

Did you slow down or are you taking a vacation? how long is your vacation before and after the religious activity?

In my case, I usually slow down and stop all my gambling activity, two weeks before the religious activity so I can fully reflect on my religion, and after the religious activity, I usually take a week before I get back to my normal gambling activity.

You participation in this discussion is appreciated.

Lol, this topic makes gambling look like a crime for those who are religious, I don't consider myself as a big religious person, I do pray but I don't go to the church no more, because of my own reasons but if you are religious its a sign of disrespect for your religion if you are still gambling.

Going for your holy period is not bad, but after what happened? You go back to your gambling den, I think it is a very bad thing to do, if you are a gambler and you can't stop you need to pick a side, stop committing more sins just in case hell is real, have some damn respect for your religion.

There is no man of God, pastors and others that I can caught gambling and will still respect, because they are not respecting their God, why should I really respect such people?
291  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anatsa Android malware downloaded 150,000 times via Google Play on: February 23, 2024, 08:25:35 AM
Phone memory cleaner and PDF viewers came preinstalled in my phone, I have seen many smartphone brands that have this apps installed on them by the OEM official ROM.

I don't blame those who fall victim, they must have thought that it's safe because it's not money app, some people are only careful with bank apps and crypto wallets but this topic will make them think again.

It doesn't have to be a money related app for hackers to get your data and files, even picture apps for fine tuning shots can be targets too, just like how many keyboard apps on playstore can't be trusted today.

Do not trust any store, either on android or iPhone, people this days will even uninstall google playstore from their phone because of this safety issue, new privacy custom ROMs like GrapheneOS and LineageOS removed google apps and services by default, be cautious handling your android phones.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you stand to gain from the bull run. on: February 22, 2024, 05:19:17 PM
The greedy ones are those that wont gain from this bull market, they will see times five of their money in Bitcoin and they will hope for more, if you are contented you will be fine, this is the best behavior a man can have, if you are always contented you already have everything.

There are some who only knows how to join the crowd when Bitcoin surfing high in value, breaking the old all time high, that's when they will come around and want to be a part, this type of people are known for buying the tops, believe me they always do this in every bull market, I am sure it's not the same old people, it's those newbies who failed to do research on anything and always prefer to follow what people are saying and doing.

I am investing for long term, and this doesn't mean I should just hold my Bitcoin through the bull market, since there will be new buying opportunities in 2026 or so it's best if I take profit during this next 14 months and use the part of the profit to reinvest again when a new strong bear market attack Bitcoin again.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Couple won the jackpot but split soon after! on: February 22, 2024, 03:39:37 PM
In any case, this man dodged a bullet by breaking up with this woman.

Or that chick has dodges a bullet, because what we know about that man from the story: the guy lived at her place, the guy asked her money for a lottery ticked, I am more than sure that it was his offer to go to celebrate with fish and chips (the chick would have chosen more fancy place). What if he was a looser and she dumped him? Cheesy

Anyway, it will be fair to split or at least to share the prize. Because it was a joint decision to go and to buy that lottery ticket. Without each other actions and decisions, they would not have won that million.

Charlotte asked him via a friend to leave.

👆🏻 she asked the man to leave, via a friend, she can't even said it to his face directly

Not protecting anyone, but a man who is dumped can go rage and cause physical harm Cheesy A straight right or a heavy slap could be a minimum what she would get. Of course it is more safe to use a mediator in negotiations Grin
You are right, maybe she doesn't know a safer place to break the relationship but that's not even a problem, my curiosity is tingling like a spider sense, asking why now of all those times they have been together, it's scary what women can come up with when money is involved, they are sometimes scary.

Women tend to break up not in an instant, it must have been in the mind before they win the lottery, I suspect that she was just using the guy all along to get by everyday, surviving, sigh!

I hope they split the money in the end, it doesn't matter who bought the ticket and who originally have the money, if relationships are meant to be broken the moment we net high amount of money, then most hope won't be together today, money hungry people shouldn't be confused as a soul mate or life partner, be careful when choosing who to date or marry.
294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A famous influencer lost more than $4000 in just 2 minutes. (2) on: February 22, 2024, 12:17:52 PM
Most gamblers have lost amounts that they aren't ready to lose, they all have their regrets but not me, the amount I lost I have made most back, I don't keep records though but I do get lucky with my $10 and few $20 gambling, it's also not something I do all the time, I give room for other important thing, my name must not get ruined because I am into gambling.

I don't follow any gambling influencers, the worst of influencers are the gambling influencers, they only fuel your desire to be an addict gambler, they encourage you to take bad decisions, like going all in, or the next jackpot is around the corner if you don't stop.

And not stopping is the issue here, learn to take time off gambling at times, it's not a reliable source of income, make sure you spend time with your kids and family more than gambling, only use spare money and if you don't have it don't gamble, it's not a must when you don't have the spare money.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun and not a way of making money on: February 22, 2024, 11:05:14 AM
I play video games for fun and I spent money on skins and points, now that we have play to earn game, it's even making more sense to spend money to get more fun, whether you like it or not, money is a part why we gamble, but the fear of losing your Mr cool guy in the real world is why we want to be responsible in gambling, that's not too much to ask for.

Those who risk a lot on gambling are doing it to make money only, those who aren't too concern about making money spend their time to add fun deriving from the games they play, in return they use small amount of money all the time.

Also those who responsible gamblers are not asking much from gambling, they want to have good time and also make few money if possible, such people will never get intoxicated by gambling.

Depend on your jobs, learn trading, invest your money in good assets and hope for the best, be a gambler who don't want his life dream fulfilled by gambling, it could still happen but don't depend on it from gambling, it's too unrealistic.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wednesday had been my bad day to gamble. on: February 21, 2024, 03:14:04 PM
This makes sense, some days are always in favour for some humans than the other days, but with gambling even if a day is your best day I don't think that you will keep winning on such days either.

Do you know that your mood on a day could also apply to how lucky you could get? It's like been focused and been distracted, I have once advice someone to not gamble since they already got into a fight that same day, he got angry and a fight broke out, later he said he want to gamble, I told him his day was ruined already.

I was able to say this to him because luck and feeling have something to do together, I noticed this on my own, I can't say about how others feel too, but this is about myself, I don't gamble when I am not in my right state of mind or when I am not happy.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it letting the bank know that you are a BTC Investor? on: February 21, 2024, 02:03:49 PM
With the present state of my local currency depreciating almost every day, the government are now trying to blame p2p traders on Binance exchange for this issue, talking about money laundering and others, I think it will be safer if I don't let my bank knows about my involvement with Bitcoin and crypto, situations will be different depending on each countries.

In a corrupted country anything is bound to happen, it's better to keep your mouth shut about BTC and crypto, you can expose yourself to criminals and also the bad eyes in the government, they are always everywhere, even in the so called banks.

I don't know about you but I have all the rights to keep my BTC invest away from any public eye, we can never say what's coming especially in a country like mine, where they believe that the exposure to crypto and BTC is why the Fiat currency is going down, which I find so hard to believe.
298  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you feel excited while gambling on: February 21, 2024, 01:04:29 PM
The real estate excitement comes for the games, this is why I like UFC and Football, there isn't much excitement from Slots because I do play them for fun at times and some times I do hope I make few dollars more, but honestly, Sports is where the real excitement lives not all those casinos games, unless you are playing a player vs player game.

If it's you and just the bot like slots, the excitement won't be there, I have always not want to give in for gambling, because it gives false hope, and I don't want to be hooked up with false hopes in my life, this is not a reality struggle, it's all base on luck, you can't even become a prayer warrior and expect to be luck in gambling, since religion forbids gambling.

This shows that gambling isn't the right place to test your faith and hope, it could easily destroy you, even when I spend time playing video games, I get bored quickly if the game isn't challenging and fun, I keep going back to a particular tittle because it's challenging and that feeling of winning is always so good.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Wins: Your Money Was Returned to You. on: February 21, 2024, 11:28:47 AM
The process of losing funds over and over is where many people lose themselves, they get tired along the way, it could be a long process before you win some money and even if you win, the amount might not be up to how much you have risked on gambling, this is why you need to always risk very little amount of your money on gambling.

There is no how you won't lose money, but lasting longer is the main process to winning, if the money is very far affordable for you, then you can continue to try again and again for a long period of time before you finally hit your win, but if you have risk too high amount of money, you will hate yourself if the expected result isn't happening in a short period of time.

For some people it's easy to say that they only get what they used to gamble back, and some are so unlucky that they will never make what they have risk in gambling back again, but the safety part is staying withing your capacity, don't risk more than you can afford to lose.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin, for long time Holding on: February 20, 2024, 03:25:31 PM
Who says that Bitcoin investment for the short term is bad? Everyone must survive anyway they see fit, your condition could be better than the other, so don't judge or advice anyone to hold for long term, people are really going through a lot and they need to survive, either long or short term Bitcoin is a good one.

The advantage of long term holding is better return of your investment, since bitcoin keeps appreciating in value, holding for the long term is always more profitable.

Don't expect all crypto beginners to be in good shape, I knew bitcoin when I was struggling to even survive, many newbies will be in same shape, so their first target is to survive first, when they make some money they will want to take profit and live on that for a while.

Growing is a gradual process, it's a step after the other.
