We should be happy that we are part of financial revolution that is going to take place soon around the globe with the involvement of cryptocurrencies but we need to educate masses about the functioning or working of these coins like technology behind btc as people are afraid to invest in these coins due to volatility and negativity spreaded by rumours. But see the prices earlier and now depicts high growth rate and traders are being attracted to the market due to huge profits in short span.So lets wait for right time.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't know Bitcoin is, I just know It is taking away the lives of family on: October 16, 2019, 12:12:16 PM
We cannot blame bitcoin as it is only a digital currency based on blockchain technology and it is in our hands how we make use of this innovation. And sorry to say but your brother make harmful use of btc in gambling which cost your family a lot.Its our greed and lack of knowledge that leads us to the path of destruction.

Bitcoin is never going to be extinct
I believe its consensus will be higher and higher in the future.
We cant predict future and so is the case with btc.At current it is king of crypto and most widely used digital currency around the world and its adoption is going to be increased with passage of time like more institutions and governments will implicate rules to regulate it and mainstream it in their economic system. So the prices will skyrocket at that time. But if we go off the road we can say that nothing like that will happen and it will be replaced by some other measures and it will have no value in future but we remain positive for its growth.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin moving on the pathway of Gold on: October 16, 2019, 11:38:03 AM
Although graphs depict almost same results for bitcoin and gold but we cant compare both because each has its own importance as btc is digitally valued and gold is physical store of value which can be exchanged in legal currency. But btc has shown major growths in the past and prices are highly volatile and we can loose all money but this is not the case of gold as it will always have a monetary value. All that i want is btc grow to much higher level once again so we can gain profits.
285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: October 16, 2019, 07:48:34 AM

Did I head Granada's name as one of the top team of LaLiga!!
For your information Granada is promoted team this season which means they were playing second-tier league last season. LaLiga is not at all boring, just look at table table and compare it with last season, you will see the difference. Almost all 20 teams have potential to beat each other. Barcelona already suffered two defeats which shows no one in LaLiga is invincible.
This season, Laliga and Budesliga both are going to be very competitive and exciting. But on the down side, Premier League is not as exciting as last season. Liverpool is too strong to handle for other PL teams.

If you are talking about La Liga being boring with few teams repeatedly contending for the top spot like Barca and Real Madrid then you might give it a try visiting the other European leagues like the French Liqui 1, the Italian League and some others. Historically, I guess EPL have the best numbers of very competitive teams.

But still Europe has the best soccer games and events since apart from FIFA since we have UEFA Champions League and UEFA Euro. Also there are many qualifying games in between leagues.

That's what I am saying. PSG has clear dominance in French League, Bayern always top Bundesliga, Juventus is winning Serie A from last 7 years and counting. These leagues are hardly competitive at all. La Liga if not the best league in Europe is surely the second best after Premier League. Special thanks to Messi and Ronaldo owing to whom, this league is now watched in over 130 countries across the globe.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who Plays YoPony on Yobit? on: October 16, 2019, 07:31:57 AM
Interesting game but due to the shady reputation of the site it's best to stay away from that site. BTW I just checked out the rules for the game and it seems like the site pays out 90% of the pool in that round so is the remaining 10% goes to the site or gets carry forward to next round.

-snip-
As this looks lik Lottery right?when the 90% of accumulated bets will go fo the winners?

Not lottery to be exact but a kind of. There are 10 ponies, you can bet on any. After the stipulated time is over, one of the 10 ponies is declared as winner (winner pony is chosen through provably fair script) and 90% of the total pool (total bets from all players) is distributed among the players who have chosen the winner pony in proportionate ratio. 5% of the rest 10 is used by YoBit to buy PONY tokens and rest 5% is YoBit's profit.

That's how La Liga is every season.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atl Madrid, Granada. This is a club that competes in the Spanish league and is the winner of every season. Granada just added it, the rest they will change with other teams.

It's boring la league, for the Champions League also they can not be predicted to become champions. But it can always pass in the big 16 or 8 big.

With Real Madrid it seems that Florentino Perez is interfering with the technical aspects of the club too much instead on focusing on the financial and player acquisition. Zidane isn't getting the freedom that he truly needs to remake the club according to the way he wants it. But with Valverde it seems there is a problem with his relationship with the players since their are reports that the players have too much power at the club.

Regardless of what the reason is, both of them need to find a solution or else they'll sink further. I don't doubt they can win the league even if they're not perfect but to achieve something like City or Liverpool did last year, is almost impossible.

Getting 100 points or 90 points per season is not an easy task, and you can't achieve that if you lose five times or more per season.

I don't agree with you on league part. Both Barcelona and Real have now find their rhythm in league and moved up to top 2 positions. Real hasn't lost a single game so far and Barcelona with fit Messi looking good too. So even if not 90-100 points, both of them have potential to win league this season with 80-90 points.
However, to win Champions League, both of them are looking quite weak at the moment. Barcelona has somehow managed to get 4 points in first two games but there are lot of vulnerabilities in their playing style especially defence. So both of them have to improve radically or they will fail once again in quarters or semis this season too.

Most of the times, accusation against exchanges are from frustrated users who broke rules and get banned by the exchange. So I don't think Yobit is as shady as users have made it look like one.
I still remember in 2017, I was a regular coinflip player on Yobit. Minimum amount used to be 0.02 BTC and game was fair. I made some 0.06-0.08 BTC back then. YoPony is new game and much better than coinflip. I think it worth a try if one has additional funds because odds are very less in this game and not to be played with your main gambling funds.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A view on hunters and crypto currency on: October 15, 2019, 09:57:47 AM
Its hard time going for new projects to launch ICO as they are not being successful and i think its good for the crypto market as we have seen projects raising fund with the help of investors which has no objective or good service to be offered and still they raise funds. The bounty hunters also need to look for projects which are promising and healthy for the market and don't be in hurry to sell their tokens received.Investors need to support legit ICO and increase their prize or profits on it.
the time to launch ico will not get better until new investors come to the market. Now the only effective fundraising that I see is the search for private investors

I don't think market has scarcity of investors. But the continuous saga of unsuccessful projects have restricted the flow of investment in ICO market.
So unless few projects actually launch their products/services, do some real world functionality and actually sustain for long-term, interest of investors isn't going to revert.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 Years of bear market.. what to expect next on: October 14, 2019, 01:46:18 PM
i don't know what on earth would trigger the bullrun in the alts. i think we have seen enough of this bloodbath there is about 8 month left in the bitcoin next block halving and still market condition is not improving. is there will be any improvement in the alts or they all will die
The market is down and we have not seen bull run from past year but there is little pump in the prices of altcoin but thats not significant and if we talk about survival of alts they can survive in long run only of the technology is developed and adoptipn is increased by the investors that can surge the prices but if they can't compete they are dead in that period. We have seen the downfall of alts but coins like XRP,LTC,ETH have potential to rise to level of btc dominamce in the market and we might hit price surges soon in the market by the end of 2019.

294  Economy / Economics / Re: Trade war Influences on cryptocurrency on: October 14, 2019, 01:13:32 PM
I just want to discuss with you guys, what influences it will pose on the cryptocurrency if the trade war between US and China continues and maybe even worse. And also, what can ordinary investors do to avoid losses?
They both are powerful nations and want to dominate each other on economic fronts but the trade war between them is related to fiat or legal currencies like USD so it wont have any significant effect on the prices and growth of cryptocurrencies. So we don't need to worry about it. It is political war between the currencies relating to financial matters and crypto is not a part of any government sysyem.
295  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin up to $20,000 before 2020? on: October 14, 2019, 12:54:03 PM
It don't seems possible to me that price of bitcoin will reach $20k by the end of this year as we have already entered the Q4 of 2019 and only three months are left and prices are still around $8500 at the moment and there are less chances of surge upto that level but predictions have been made earlier also but they prover wrong. So we might see $20000 next year.
296  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: October 14, 2019, 12:35:41 PM
Dear all,

I bought 2 BTC when it were 18k USD/1BTC and lost all my other assets with BCC 400usd.
I still have been keeping them with the belief that it will recover and over 20k.
it is too long time and that makes me so tired, i need money to invest a plan, but there is no money
Do you have any idea?

thanks
See you need to be patient and stay calm for a long period as prices will take some time to surge to $20000 again as they are struggling to rise above $10k at the moment. Its good that you are still positive and have not loose hope so try to leave your investment as it is and wait for perfect time to earn profits as you have invested at the peak prices so you need to be more patient than others.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are we really investing in bitcoin? on: October 14, 2019, 12:19:18 PM
Is the service and profitability, even if bitcoin is highly volatile, are the only two reasons why bitcoin is attractive to investors? Any good opinions or answers? Thanks
A secured decentralized currency based on blockchain technology that is going to be adopted by the world economies in their system. So btc will be widely accepted currency as a mode for digital payments made over a secured network.Investors are involving themself in crypto due to profitablity in this market and also that they think they should contribute a be part of innovation made in digital currencies. Moreover you are not under the limitations of any other agency like government or any third party so its provide freedom to the people.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every tiny piece of Bitcoin is worth it! on: October 14, 2019, 12:03:29 PM
I agree with you that every tiny peice or small amount of btc has a value and we should try not to loose it in any case.Few years back the prices were low even for one bitcoin and now they are very high compared to that time which also increase the value of tiny pieces of btc.But the problem with withdrawl from exchanges is transaction fees and mimimum amount that can be withdrawn. So you should instead trade it with altcoins and then withdraw it because leaving it there exposes risk to hacking or acesss can be lost and you lost all your amounts. So its better to be safe.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Stress and Happiness on: October 14, 2019, 11:47:21 AM

In my almost four years of getting involved (just an ordinary holder and part-time trader, nothing so great actually), I am so sure that Bitcoin can be a major source of stress especially if you bought them at a higher price and then the price made some slide. Now, I am not saying that it is Bitcoin's fault because stress in the first place depends a lot on our perception and how we are managing it. But definitely, we can categorize as a stressor at some degree.

On the other hand, Bitcoin can also be the source of "happiness" especially when the coin is having a great time jumping upwards. Certainly, there can be euphoria if in 2020 Bitcoin can go higher that its 2017 ATH. Bitcoin is known for extreme volatility and it can go from one side to the other in matter of hours and days.

No wonder that Steve Wozniak the Apple co-founder sold his bitcoin because riding the roller coaster stressed him out.

How do you manage any possible stress coming from Bitcoin's volatility?
I know that volatility in prices sometimes create stress and panic situation when prices go to a very low level but there is no need to worry about this. Think it as an opportunity to buy at low and sell at high prices when bull run hits the market and gain profit which will eventually lead you to happiness.Be optimistic about its growth and try to take risks if you want to survive in long run.
300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Casinos Have the Lowest House Edge? on: October 14, 2019, 10:03:41 AM
Honestly, I would simply choose a casino whose house edge is close to 1% and is reputed(Bitsler etc) since you won't find a big difference between 0.5% or 1%. We will always lose in the long term which is why I don't really focus too much on the house edge factor.

I agree. 1% is already negligible house edge. You won't find any difference while playing, for the most parts outcomes will be 50-50. And in my knowledge almost all big and reputed platforms have 1% house-edge. So this shouldn't be the prominent for deciding casino.
