281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💩 We are now in the “shitcoin” season? 💩 on: November 28, 2019, 06:46:19 PM
People only think its shitcoin season because they cannot find a decent project to support and I promise you they are there. Most bounty hunters don't look properly so might not find it or they just stumble upon it by fluke.
Those who do their research will find some nice projects or at least ones they will be paid for. There are not many of them but out of the thousands of shitcoin it is impossible for there not to be a few good coins.
You see the thing is sometimes when there is a good project or idea it doesn't get much attention for some reason. I saw a gaming faucet and a coin backed by a peer2peer network getting very little attention yet they both have a working product and reason for existence.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NOW the time to get into Ethereum ? on: November 28, 2019, 06:09:41 PM
Right now things are a bit down in price so I believe it is a good idea to buy eth and bitcoin. With ether 2.0 coming up I am sure it will create new excitement and due to the fact that you need a high amount of eth to stake I think many people will be buying eth to reach the minimum to stake. I know for sure we will see some staking pools and well as tears when the pool owners decide to exit scam.
It will be interesting but I believe the price will rise and I believe that bitcoin will go along with it.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: not a rule! but it's about your common sense to avoid scam projects on: November 28, 2019, 05:51:39 PM
Regulasi aren't a golden bullet against scammers. As all those things become more obvious to the general public, scammers evolve to mimic decent projects with almost impeccable efficiency. Still, the most reasonable rule of investment isn't about ICOs or IPOs, it's just about your common sense. I mean no matter what, never spend more money than you can afford to lose.
Yes that has always been the number one rule, never to spend on a project an amount that is more than you can afford to lose. There are good projects that are still not successful at the end, that is why you should be careful with how much you're investing so that you don't lose your money in the project you're investing in.

But before that, you have to apply some measures to make sure that you're not investing your money in the wrong project.. No matter how much a scam project tries to pretend to be legit, the team will always show that they are fake, they are either going to impersonate people who are big in the industry or create a fake profile. This is one thing I know for sure that will always expose them. I don't think any scammer is ready to show off who they are when it comes to this because they will be traced and caught.
Scammers are really good at pretending to be someone they are not, after all they are scammers, and many projects are now deciding to not reveal the identity of the developers in any way or form, this way they can avoid the techniques that scam busters use to find if they are really who they say they are, and they will come with the excuse that somehow what they're doing is going to completely change the world and they prefer to be anonymous in very much the same way that satoshi was.

Scammers don't care if you know their identity. They will scam you anyway. The thing with scammers is they are so cheeky and have no dignity or integrity in the least. I think they actually start believing the bs they try to sell to people. I say this because they seem so convincing like they actually believe what they are saying. I am pretty sure they are delusional.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be possible to use Cryptocurrencies in China? on: November 27, 2019, 10:28:21 PM
1. As far as I know cryptocurrencies aren't banned in China.
2. Regardless if it's banned, you can still use bitcoin/cryptocurrencies. Assuming you don't get caught using it. It'd be wise to use Tor.
3. The best that China can do as far as I know is just to add crypto-related sites to their firewall. Beyond that? I don't think there's anything they can do.

Because they communist and want as much control out of their people as can possibly be. Look at how they have banned other things and it hasn't worked. You can still use google and facebook and visit other sites and people still do it and have so for years and it is banned. It is just to inconvenience you really and make it that much harder to do these things. I agree with you, there is nothing they can do. You don't know who is holding crypto and you can't tell unless they tell you they are.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockstack Bitcoin Airdrop is it Genuine? on: November 27, 2019, 10:09:10 PM
I can't even look at that website. It's broken, which annoy me. $1 a seems reasonable I guess. I don't understand how these sort of things work. You also get basic income coins and how does that work?
How can you get $$ worth of crypto every month? They were talking about $100 a month or something. Sounds like nonsense.

$1 a week is still going to attract a lot of people.
In India minimum wage is 2.5 USD per day. It's the same in Pakistan, 8USD a day in Indonesia. Getting additional $1 for these people is like $10 a day for the rest of us.

I wouldn't submit KYC for such money but many people will. I've seen some airdrops from the side of the distributor and 90% of people who claim these come from Africa and the Middle East.

That is the problem with these things you see. I guess if I was living in India I would probably not even care if someone knows where I live. ^^
286  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Are there facuet which dont require Faucethub account on: November 27, 2019, 08:40:19 PM
Are there faucets which can send directly to your wallet and dont require faucethub account
Faucethub is closing do you mind find many faucet that migrating to other services. But there are already many faucet that send payout directly such as freebitco.in but they requires higher minimum withdraw.

Do you even read before posting? I literally just said this and now you go and repeat what I have said a few posts down....

here many facuets don't need faucethub ;

hkfreetutor.bid/free-money-at-home

Not a bad start to a website. Good to see you checking the sites so people don't have to nor waste their time with them. I noticed you have a shop there but nothing in it yet. What are you planning on selling?
287  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: AURLS - URL Shortener [up to 10$ CPM] on: November 27, 2019, 08:33:47 PM
I know where to get a script to run a website like this as well but where do you get the advertising. I want to cut out the middle man. xD
Or do you  just fill each screen yourself with ads and things?

Updated CPM to 10$.

$10 cpm is quite high, can you tell me the country traffics that are eligible for this high payout or it is your current CPM rates for all countries ?
When your cpm rates is too high there is a possibility that you might not pay users.

Ooops. Looks like someone doesn't know how to look at a website. Everything is on the website so stop spamming http://aurls.xyz/payout-rates

Payments was already received, extremely quickly, thanks!

That's good to see.
288  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can i make 50.000$ fast ? on: November 27, 2019, 02:53:34 PM
Yeah, rob a bank...

What is wrong with you? Are you delusional? Do you really think someone who is capable of making that kind of money will just willy nilly give their secrets away? Your first target is 50k.
You are a joke. How unreasonable can you get? Why not work on making your first $$ online. You can't even crawl but you talking about not even running. You talking about flying here.
You clearly are not serious since if you were you would bring much more to the table then this. This is not a serious topic.
289  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't run for merits! on: November 27, 2019, 02:44:40 PM
For newbies of course they're after merits because you can't ranked up if don't have enough merits. Who doesn't want that? Lucky for those already at higher rank because they don't have to do so much in able to ranked up. Merit system is good tho. It mitigates the unnecessary account farming which makes the forum bad because of shitposters and account sellers. That's why merit system was implemented. They have to earn merit first before you reach higher rank. You have to post useful posts and it's up to the merit holder whether we give it or not.
We have merits sources and merit holders, merit sources who will have smerits refilled every month but most of them saying that they can't find enough good posts to award merits and complete their monthly quota,so it made the shit posters to stuck at their current rank forever but not sure about the account sellers who farmed or hacked accounts years ago still selling it but new DT system made them to be dried up to least and soon there will be no more account for selling.

I am an smerit source (since I actually spend my merits which I wish people would do since that is what they are for) I don't know what these other smerit sources are talking about? Maybe they don't read enough posts but there tons of good ones. I think I get 1 merit each day and that is not nearlly enough. You should get like 10. I am out in a few days. I don't give one measly little merit I give 2-5 at a time. I also sometimes give noobs just 1 point to level them up or if I see they need 1 more to rankup. So I will look at their posts and choose a good one and merit it. People are selfish man seriously. Noone should have merits after the first week or two of the month. People who still have merits and don't spend are selfish and I hope noone gives them merits. Another thing I notice with ridiculous is people giving legendaries merits. They don't need them they max rank already.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Not Be a Medium of Exchange on: November 27, 2019, 02:37:51 PM
This argument could be valid in future if Bitcoin failed to gain market share and people just decided to use it for store of value, another thing to look at is the lighting network, the success of lighting network is going to determine if BTC is going to be use for medium of exchange because the  transaction fees that people complained about that is high is going to be reduced significantly

Lightning network just solves one problem though (or two, if we count fees + speed of transaction). It doesn't help much with volatility however. Who wants to buy a TV for 1K today, when a month from now that same amount of BTC could be worth 2-5K? Nobody will use BTC as a medium of exchange... they would hold it for speculation.

An exception could be in 3rd world countries where their own fiat fluctuates more than BTC does. I suppose it could catch on as a medium of exchange there with the LN. But other cryptos are probably better suited to that task than BTC is, at least currently.

In my opinion, it takes a long time for Bitcoin to become a medium of exchange because of many factors that are obstacles. Until now, not everyone understands what bitcoin is and how it functions or they know about cryptocurrency. Maybe Bitcoin will become more practical if used as a digital asset, as an alternative investment or safe haven other than gold

right now its can be used to buy stuff online. its a medium of exchange. right now one way to buy altcoins like ETH is to have BTC first. cryptocurrencies are medium of exchange it functions like fiat. its even in the forex market now just like a real fiat. you may not spend it but some people do. we keep trading it like currencies buying USDT with BTC. there is no good and bad money here what we have are bloodmoney.  Grin

Yep, the OP is talking shit. I just bought some games on steam with a gift card I bought with crypto. I just ordered some seeds for my garden using eth. I bought some spray paint for my crafting with bitcoin. Whats this OP on about? Does the OP even come to reply back? Nope....

Another person talking shit. I spend bitcoin all the time. Stop lying and spreading misinformation. Which third world countries are you talking about that have money that fluctuates like that?
You say you won't spend bitcoin because it will be worth more in the future? Then convert all your fiat into bitcoin because using fiat to buy something is the same as buying bitcoin with the fiat beforehand the only exception is that you are using a superior payment method instead of crappy fiat.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The ridiculous projects of this year on: November 27, 2019, 02:22:55 PM
I don't remember the names (gosh there so many and they really not that memorable) People doing all sorts of bs. No proof of anything. They claim because they sell their token for an amount that people will at least get that amount of value. Telling bounty hunters these lies. Yes in a perfect economy that would be the case if the project was any good which it wasn't when the token hit the market the sold it for 10k each and on the market, it sold for a 100 satoshi.
292  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [WARNING] Newbies, do not click links blindly. on: November 27, 2019, 11:28:37 AM
Watching this and many alike threads, it shows people do really care for each other here no matter where we come from. We always need to be cautious while clicking on links and even watching anything over the internet as sometimes, when you visit a website you're not intended to and during the time you check out the website just because it looks eye-catching, the website can fit a malware behind in order to be use the whole computing power of your PC and even smartphone and it starts mining through the same which is commonly known as cryptojacking. More info here - https://www.csoonline.com/article/3253572/what-is-cryptojacking-how-to-prevent-detect-and-recover-from-it.amp.html

You should always remain aware and active if you don't want to get messed up with shitty issues like these. Always be known to these things to keep your crypto safe forever.

Yep, I care about people. Life can be tough as hell. No point adding to the weight we all already carry. If sharing some info can help someone save the heartache of whatever negative things might happen the share it.
You can help so many people just with one post. Also posts here will show up on google search so people who have nothing to do with the forum will stumble upon posts here and then they can save themselves.

Yes, you can get cryptojacked. But you will know. Your fans will start spinning fast and if you check task manager your CPU usage will be through the roof. My antivirus is very good but sometimes. (since I open 100s of tabs) One of them cryptojacks me and I hear my fans buzzing and everything. I'm like "hey why is everything so slow" I look at task manager "oh right I ben jacked" luckily it doesn't actually install anything or hide anything on your pc so as soon as you leave the site its done. The part that irritates me is that cryptojacking makes cents. A CPU cannot mine. People only stay on the page for a little while it's not like they leave it open overnight or something. Even if they did it won't even mine 1 cent worth of anything. Unless it is some sort of altcoin then maybe you make a couple of cents in a day.

Good link. It's pretty easy to detect though. You will notice your pc grind to a halt. Yout mouse will lag like hell. Once I though someone was remote controlling my pc that's how much the input lagged from the mining. But that site was set on extreme. If you want to get away with it you need to set it on low or people will notice and as I say you already mine barely anything so running on say 20% is pointless. Cryptojacking is not worth it.
Only if someone runs a massive bot network of like millions of pcs it will be worth it.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A coin that solves a problem won't die on: November 26, 2019, 10:41:25 PM
This is why I will only invest in something with something to show. Promises are not enough. They are empty and people need a hell of a lot more than just an idea and some website or something. It takes much more to make a project. Most of the time I read these Ann threads I ask myself "but where is the project?" Making money is all about solving a problem. Find a problem and then solve it. It seems it is a difficult concept to grasp for these devs. I think they are lazy and it never makes sense to me especially when you see some of the efforts they put into their websites. Of course, it could always be bought I guess.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JuSt a wish on: November 26, 2019, 07:45:16 PM
I don't think it is nessasery for projects to be on "top exchanges" they can go on quieter ones. If they are good they will survive and be just fine. Where you sell the tokens doesn't determine the quality of the project in any way. Don't be fooled into thinking these exchanges only host good coins and tokens.

Although it seems as a valid argument, it doesn't work that way.  You're basically asking institutions to lower their standards so as to accommodate projects that can't level up.  I believe as an exchange,  having a standard is very important, regardless of market conditions.  Yet again,  we're dealing with 'if'.

What has price got to do with standard though?
295  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Are there facuet which dont require Faucethub account on: November 26, 2019, 07:32:26 PM
There will soon be many more of them. No one knows the fate of faucets right now. Many are linked to FaucetHub which is why you are asking your question. FaucetHub will close down soon and we are just going to have to hope for the best. I have been meaning to make my own faucets sometime so I guess it will be a bit harder for me now that I have to handle everything directly and have a payout threshold because of the fees.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think miner manufacturers are making more money developing a ASICminer? on: November 26, 2019, 07:07:35 PM
No, I don't think so. They can sell them faster then they can mine. A miner takes about 6-9 months sometimes more to break even and they can sell a lot more miners in those 6-9months then they would be able to mine.
They also don't need to worry about mining difficulty. They are constantly making a profit with each miner sale. As for mining before they sell them? Well, I suppose some suppliers may do so but I doubt its something that is common. After all, there are scam sites that do not own miners and just pretend to and steal that way. They would probably mine for a short time to test the miner out and I am unsure how they do that. If they stress test it on a test server or if they use an actual mining pool.
297  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I covert BTC to another to get lower withdrawal fees? on: November 26, 2019, 07:00:02 PM
Definitely worth it. I always do it and then withdraw bitcoin from tradeogre for about $1 Or I just withdraw eth since I am invested in it. Sometimes a bit of other currency as well.

Why are you guys paying so much for your withdraws? I think $5 is a lot and I notice that many places charge a lot. Any particular reason you use them over others?
298  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Overview of faucet scripts on: November 26, 2019, 06:54:20 PM
I want to give you some merits but I don't have any Sad Another example of how the merit system is broken... Your website has been very helpful to me. The list extensive but the description and links to each are short which is good, I hate to have to scroll through to many things. You also placed the links together. Easier to see that way. Nice new adds.
Thank you for nice words. It means me more than some merits Cheesy
Yeah, I tried to collect everything into one place and dedcribe everything shortly. Soon I will have to make big update, because Faucethub will close, so there will be big changes there.
And I'm always waiting for suggestions how I can improve my list.

Pleasure. After reading this I went and had a look. I am so annoyed. Stupid USA law again and people folding under its "power" what the hell is the matter with that country huh? Not everyone lives there. Where I live if you lose your money with crypto then shame. USA hounds people down over scraps. Now those of us who don't live under their jurisdiction must deal with this crap as well. Crypto is not government issues I don't give a damn what anyone says, it has nothing to do with the government and there is nothing to tax since there is no fiat to tax.
299  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are Airdrops worth participating in? WHERE to find all of them? on: November 26, 2019, 02:49:47 PM
To all the people saying airdrops are scams or not worth it or whatever. Yeah, the airdrops you participate are useless. Who's faults that? Why do you waste your precious time on shit and expect to get roses? (that is ironic since shit grows good roses get it) Wink

Only do an airdrop if the project you are supporting supports it. If you think mass signing up for airdrops is a good idea and that is your mentality then you are going to have a really crappy time.
It doesn't matter how attractive you make a shitcoin it is still shit so stop doing airdrops for shitcoin, that's how easy it is.

So next time you see "bobs super duper coin" and bob has no website or Ann then do not fill the airdrop out you are wasting your time. Go learn a skill or something that you can use to make some real money.

Have you checked out https://www.altcoinstalks.com/ ?

There are some decent social media based on crypto as well. https://swirge.com is a new one where you can earn crypto using it as well.

Here is a useful site to learn all about a coin https://www.coingecko.com/
To find out about nodes and which to invest in https://masternodes.online/
Also, have a look at the forum in my signature.
