281  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: March 23, 2018, 03:47:55 PM

Unless paggawin mo tatay mo or any other relatives mo to cashout your money ng paunti unti until mabuo mo yung 900k mo.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin? on: March 23, 2018, 03:23:33 PM

Of course they will continue to feed negativity about bitcoin to the public, after all they're getting paid and they have to protect the interest of the one who pays them, it may be the Government, Influential People, or even The Banks but one thing is for sure they will do their best to destabilize everything who gets in their way not just Bitcoin.
This would really be a problem for Hodler's like me. But I keep on buying only bitcoin when this kind of opportunity happens because I believe in the system and the development of the blockchain technology not only in bitcoin but other currencies in compete with it.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto markets turn bearish atfer japan's pressure on Binance on: March 23, 2018, 02:34:59 PM
Some bad big investors investors in the cryptocurrencies market has they way of influencing the market any time their want to affect the market to they own advantage, and at that they carry false bad news about bitcoin just to cause panic in the community for people to go into panic selling.
They are more traders rather than investors. This panic selling would really affect the market specially when this big news site are making fake news to destroy the cryptocurrency market. People are only reading the headlines rather than going into the deep story of the news.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the common challenges for bitcoin user? on: March 22, 2018, 05:22:30 AM
Well for me.. I see some other countries dont accept what bitcoin is, they need to take a look beyond crypto/digital currency in a future how they can help thier economy, and we can faced it by trying to encourage those people who didnt understand it or try to motivate them

Motivation is not a key for them, it is the knowledge of what the system can do in the market is the most important foundation of not making people sell their bitcoin. If we could distribute the information with the trusted influencers that is well known from that country, it would be a great impact not also the society but in the market.

288  Other / Meta / Re: Over-replied topics on: March 21, 2018, 04:18:06 AM
what is the problem of over-replied topics? please enlighten me.

Filling up repeated answers to the thread where even the creator of the thread do not turn back on it. Cleaning of old threads with too many pages of repeated replies would help kick out spam posts. Just read through the replies. Sir Yahoo's reply can be brought to the screen. Auto deletion of old thread with too many pages would reduce the work of moderators and managers. This would wash out spam threads as well.

I think if that happens that having implement auto deletion thread will lessen spam post, 15 to 20 pages that are already good enough getting a perfect answer in every thread that asking or sharing an idea in each thread. Mostly they NOT mind to the middle replies to the OP's thread, mostly they are reading the page and the last page of the thread.
Auto lock or auto deleting a thread if reach the maximum pages which is a good idea in MEGAthread only.
The idea is great. But still there is a possibility that the topic will be spammed.

To add some suggestion, it is better to include how many merited replies are there in the topic so that people could only read the useful comments that would help the forum. If we can add a "Merited Replies" button which are already filtered (just like we view our own sent & received merits), the readers could easily find their answers to the question of the OP. This would really saves time on the reading part of the member. Gaining Knowledge in the forum would be faster which could also result to a healthy discussion in the forum.
289  Other / Meta / Re: theymos, monetize this forum ;) on: March 20, 2018, 10:14:16 AM
hilariousandco has proposed the idea numerous time but it seems theymos didn't like it. I personally think this is a great idea though, it's better for all those ads money to go to the forum and quality posters rather than the spammer. IIRC he never mentioned why he dropped the idea, so I would like to hear his opinion on this.

What are everyone's ideas for improving post quality?

I have mostly ruled out:

 - Requiring payment to wear sig ads.

Am I the only one who believes that this is a BAD idea?

That will not stop the spammers from paying to have their signatures on but it might discourage quality posters from participating in the forum.

Why don't the mods start by disallowing newbies and Jr. members from starting new threads and delete spambait topics at the same time?
Well, I guess that the number of shitposters that has a lot of farmed accounts outweighs the number of decent members that really contributes well to the forum. So the fact that those spammers made a fortune in the forum, paying the fee will be okay with them.

IMO, banning newbies and Jr. members from creating their own threads does not seem to be a bad idea. This would in turn result to them being obliged to research the forum thoroughly and find an answer to their simple questions/thoughts by themselves.
The use of paying for a signature will not be a solution to fix the forum. Besides of members that can pay for their alt accounts, forum members can recover their subscription fees/payment with in months of wearing the signature ads that's why theymos ruled out this one.

Nice OP, this would really help beginners from trading. Just a suggestion, kindly enumerate siguro kung anong range ng graphs kung every 30min, 1hr, 4hr or 1day ang basis ng candle stick to help them also.

I see some over-replied topics (600-1000+ replies) yet this replies from 10-upward pages are unnoticed/ignored and some are redundant answers.
I think it will still depend on the topic. But how about the topics made by the admins? Example this topics - Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.2820
I think its still our responsibility to report topics to be lock or deleted.

I think its better to limit the replies to avoid these topics to keep appearing in the latest posts and so that users will make a new topic or reply on the unreplied topics.
Opinions will be limited if this will be implemented. If you want to see the oldest post, you can filter it by clicking "Last Post" column to report old topics that are unreplied for a very long time.
