2801  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who do you recommend to follow/read/watch for beginners? on: May 14, 2022, 03:19:20 PM
So what kind of knowledge you want learn first.
There are vast knowledge/topic to start with in crypto actually.

At least:
- Basic knowledge for bitcoin/crypto.
- Technical-related of bitcoin/crypto/blockchain.
- Security of wallets.
- Crypto Trading.
- Other stuff to learn and earn.

If you can provide particularly about what and which, then people can give you recommendations about what to read, listen and watch.
2802  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Alert: There is New Scam Attempt Targeting MetaMask Pc Users on: May 14, 2022, 12:47:23 PM
That ad network won't take any responsibility unless the victim or website owner sue them and managed to win on court. Even with lots of shady/malicious ads on Google services, google rarely sued.
Oh yeah, you're right, i almost forgot that even as big as google and facebook who has millions of users that might engage on those ads have these kind of shits yet this companies still accepting such kind of ads. How much more on just a mere fraction of users who from the partnered website of coinzilla.
2803  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Warning! on: May 14, 2022, 10:58:28 AM
PC wallets my foot 👎, we need to find a way to run crypto wallets offline, this is the only solution I can think of right now, online is making crypto wallet security looks stupid.
You will need more resources to get that solution. If you say wallet that works offline that means blockchain can work offline too, sending crypto on-chain offline is not possible right now.
If this kind of malware is in the ad script, simple ad blocker such as uBlock Origin is a simple solution for this, also the user's knowledge how things work.
2804  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Alert: There is New Scam Attempt Targeting MetaMask Pc Users on: May 14, 2022, 10:52:15 AM
Then the ad network should be responsible for this. Imagine they are accepting advertiser including the work of the advertiser script without them checking how the script will work or affect the ad showing in the website partnered of the ad network. Ad blocker should be a must in this space to prevent this kind of malware.

Here's an api made by mprep [C# / .NET] Unofficial Bitcointalk API - Get info from boards, topics and posts[1]. Feel free to check it.

I know the ninjastic.space website or tryninja or loycev make something like this as well.
I found the thread of tryninja about the api, kindly chrck here[2]

I know its not in rss or xml format but you can optimize it or use it to get the latest posts or every post made in this forum.

Edit: Here's a confirmed discord project that can fetch latest post of certain board made using tryninja's api tool[3]

2806  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the difference between Referral and Affiliate? on: May 13, 2022, 11:59:27 PM
Both profits, but affiliates has more chance to make profit than referrals.
Affiliates has lots of benefits, it has wide range of rewards also like tiers/levels for every user they invites, the promo used of their invites, and you dont need to have an account on the platform, every bet they made, mostly it is used in different platform to promote the specific service, say a casino.
While referral is just a fixed rate or percentage whenever a user invites to the platform, every bet they made. A referrer also is a  existing user of the platform/casino.
2807  Economy / Gambling / Re: I miss the old OnChain gambling on: May 13, 2022, 09:46:45 PM
I still found such kind of game here, actually i found them often here now, although its not about bitcoin only but other crypto with faster confirmation. The issue on this kind of gambling is not the provably fair its the reputation of the website compare to those licensed one. I found them too suspicious and too risky actually.
2808  Economy / Gambling / Re: The latest cryptocurrency gambling on: May 13, 2022, 09:26:14 PM
Seems I often found such thread and similar games about hash betting lately. Are you affiliated or do you own this casino/website? Follow what had mentioned above if this is supposedly an ANN thread.
Although this kind of game is really 99.99% based in luck and cant be cheated but using a new website is too risky since theres no account required just sending token to random website and bet with your tx hash.
2809  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal: Adding grey underline in every links on: May 13, 2022, 06:25:16 AM
As far as i remember theymos had made a bitcointalk related URLs hovered with green color same with the underlined thing on the link. All non bitcointalk-related URLs are just ordinary either they put colors in it or not.
That feature is made to differentiate links and same with your reasons to avoid getting malware, phishing links and even scams. Accessing anything that is NON bitcointalk-related URLs are considered as risky and might steal device data and etc.
So its up to the user if he will proceed to access the URL or not since we can hovered it before clicking it.

Edit: Heres the thread of theymos im referring to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1432118.0
2810  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam freebitco.in ? on: May 12, 2022, 10:54:54 PM
You know what, once a platform is known as a scam, have shady behaviour, people will boycot it no matter what industries they are in. Rights of players/users is more viable on this forum. Putting red tags, flag that can hurt the websites reputation once proven.

Freebitco run so many years already, although issues are unavoidable but most of them were solved already, and the site is still running, so asking if they are scam, it's NOT.
2811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler turns 60 pence bet into £157,865.59 on: May 12, 2022, 10:34:24 PM
I doubt anyone can predict so many winning situations so accurately.

/..

TLDR: Probably a PR stunt. I don't really believe it.
Luck doesn't need explanation or very specific reasons, as long as there is a probability for it to happen then it will happen.
As for the news, its a bet for what team will win for 16 games, although its quite easy to choose between loss and win but for a draw, it could be a lot ti think of. But the winner get that so its really pure luck.
2812  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best casino other than Stake . com? on: May 12, 2022, 10:15:35 PM
There are indeed lots and its been a while for these platforms existence and its been trusted by the community which there are lots you could find on here if you do really
tend to search on this forum alone itself.

Also its not bad to test out BK8 or simply on my signature space. They might new into this forum but its also not a bad thing for you to engage or choose on
but actually this is really just depending on someones preference.
Using the forum's search feature to get results "best casino other than stake" or similar will not give you best results. Almost all casino on gambling board claims they are the best, so you can't do that much.
Google still be the best for searching although needs to sort it up since most of them are paid one. If there's a list/thread for where we can see from users preference of their and other best casinos then it is a huge help it be seen on google as well.
2813  Other / Meta / Re: Have you noticed this pop-up window on your mobile browser on: May 11, 2022, 11:22:40 AM
Haven't you never received any messages before? That's the alert message when you receive a message which is the deleted post.

Although it can be disabled/enable on your message settings but its the default settings I suppose since I never change anything on that page.
2814  Other / Meta / Re: My post was removed without explanation. What are my next steps? on: May 11, 2022, 03:05:48 AM
Thanks, I did edit my post to include an explanation a few minutes after posting the image but perhaps it had already been removed at that point. They've reinstated it now though so all good. Just to note, I've received messages that it's now been reinstated but I never received a message about the original removal. Thanks
Yeah, I can see it now too, mods probably see this thread of your and think it was a mistake from their end.

Seems the possibility to retrieve deleted/removed posts and the no notification/message receive, I guess the thread wasn't deleted, just moved to some board only mods can see and retrieve (correct me if im wrong though).

Now you can lock this thread since it's been solve now or wait a bit later for the mod to explain what happened to your thread.
2815  Other / Meta / Re: My post was removed without explanation. What are my next steps? on: May 11, 2022, 02:11:15 AM
Here's the archive of the thread https://ninjastic.space/topic/5398051

There's nothing on the content but an image only, probably it was considered as spam or off topic. Mod deleting a thread comes a message to the OP of the reasons, it should be on your messages.
2816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler turns 60 pence bet into £157,865.59 on: May 10, 2022, 05:51:18 PM
When luck hits you very much, it seems like all of his luck was used on such bets. Haha kidding aside, hope there's nothing wrong happen to him soon, due to out of luck.

But seriously, this is really something every gambler wants to reach and experience. But this really takes being a fan and love for the sport.

How can you explain such fortunate winning happening for real? It looks unlikely and unrealistic even for a Hollywood movie script!
Luck doesn't needs explanations, just luck, and yeah it happened, rarely.
2817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WE NEED A HALL OF FAME? on: May 09, 2022, 11:56:16 PM
Good idea, but it will be subject for bias decisions. If there's a voting option, how can you prevent the votes getting cheated? Or who are eligible for voting?

Or if no voting, who will decide to list the bests and etc. We can agree to the "one of the bests list" but its a bit difficult to say this one is the best and the other is not.
2818  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cash out issue with FortuneJack Casino on: May 08, 2022, 07:12:36 PM
So everything has been fixed and I feel a bit dumb for panicking that much, eventually a 3 days wait wasn't that disastrous delay.

/..

Not sure about it, but I guess it's better I delete the post?
That's great to know that you problem is now solved.

Anyhow, you can't delete your thread here, or I don't know if deleting a thread is possible, seems not. You can lock this thread instead by clicking the "lock topic" in the lower left of this thread you've made and add "[SOLVE]" on the title.

2820  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Lots of scammers on binance p2p on: May 07, 2022, 06:09:12 PM
You have add this kind of theft in the "HOW TO DETECT SCAMS" in your Binance p2p thread But you were scammed still.
Not the OP, its his baby sister as mentioned.

Is this her first transaction on binance p2p? It should be a lesson learn to be served. There are lots of notes and warnings on how-tos in binance p2p though.
Idk if how binance can recover her future coin but they can disabled the account of the scammer if proven, also you can report the transaction where you send the $1500 if it's a bank or what.
