Has anyone heard back from the CEO regarding upping their IPO? Anyone know if its still available?
I just got an email that all refunded IPO investments have been purchased, so IPO is officially set now. All that's left is a successful launch. I upped my IPO about 30 minutes before that email. So hopefully it went through. |

Yeah I don't think the IPO is an issue, I snatched up more and I'm sure everybody else did too. So thanks everybody. I'm sitting pretty good now for launch. as long as there is a launch.

Apart from me admitting I WTB share from the original IPO on original price,
I want to turn attention of the whole community and Jaymes (the CEO) mainly:
Jaymes,
1.Now you will have even less funds to buy video cards to sell.
2. Demand for video cards will be INSANLY higher than the initial quantity you can provide and
I BET that you will end up with tons of orders,
which will be put on a waitlist for a second round of buying.
3. You made already mistakes by launching the coin in a wrong way, its reputation is
already not that good, my strong advice to you is to open a second IPO stage.
4. Listen to me, do not make stupid mistake, because, if you are left in a situation
I already described above, and that coin gets one more severe major step crash,
I doubt you will be able to recover its reputation in future! REMEMBER MY WORDS!

I have been reading in the background for a couple of weeks now and I am just woundering if any one is mining with a 7970, GV-R797TO-3GD I'm getting aroung 1.8 mh does this seem about right for this card. Thanks in advance.
Also loving this coin and I'm very impressed with the devs (very clever) I'm all in on this coin and hope to see it get more and more popular surely it's gota be better then the rest

Here's what I did: -search the internet for some basic settings for your card like thread concurrency, shaders, intensity -set memclock to highest stable (trial and error) -set engineclock to something like 0.6*memclock and keep tweaking in steps of first 50 then 10 up or down til you find the sweetspot Thanks man. I've just woke up and been sending all the refunds to the people who wish it, but a vast majority of the e-mails are still very excited. Sorry to see some of you go, but it's your loss other IPO's gain.
Guys. I doubt they'll be a 2nd round of IPOs. Read the CEO's message above. I am assuming "other" means us, not new IPOs. lol. Confirmed by email just now that there will not be a second round to IPO - the current IPO investors will however be able to buy in for the amounts that will be refunded. I would not be surprised if that get snapped up pretty fast. Apparently around 5 BTC is being refunded so far. I just got the email and sent the CEO the email below. Let me know if you agree or not. Hello. Glad to see you are not opening a 2nd round. But I think you should at least save a few shares for the current IPO holders as an incentive for sticking around after 2 false launches. I think there might be more refunds if there are no incentive to stay. Just a thought. |

I am under the assumption GPUCoin must issue refunds even if they are requested after the Sunday launch. There is no window where an investor must request the refund - some of us are busy and will not be able to get to it for a little while. They cannot argue that the offer of refunds is no longer valid because they succeeded in actually launching it.
I for one am busy and will be out of town and in the case I want a refund will not be able to file for it for a few days.
Sooooooo - you have access to a computer to post here but cannot send an email with the refund request. Da Fuq? Yup. I am a busy man. I am really just pointing out a technicality which is there is no immediate time limit on getting a refund. A refund was offered and I have time before I sit down and request my refund along with a lengthy letter explaining the reasons for doing so. (if I decide on a refund, there is no stipulation that a refund must be decided on or requested immediately) Whatever dude. Email gpucoin if u want a refund. I know what youre trying to do. You want the best of both worlds. If this sunday the price skyrockets you will not ask for a refund. I guarantee that. I am just pointing something out. I am not intending on playing the system like that, I will either request a refund or not. I just think things need to be ran in a more professional manner. This business needs to hire people with better business sense, or this type of thing (these incompetences) will destroy this business. You cant go to a game then ask for a refund when your team loses. Either way you need to give the CEO advance notice so he can calculate the rest of our shares. |

Gpucoin. I suggest you send out another email to the IPOs stating that whoever wants a refund has 24 hours to contact you. Dont give anyone longer to decide. Im anxious to see how many more gpucoins im going to get.

I originally voted for scrypt N. If it takes going back to scrypt to make the next launch successful. I am down with it. This coin HAD a lot of support last night. The difficulty jumped up quick. I think this could still work but launch date should be on Saturday since Sunday here in the USA is Monday in other countries and people need to work.
P.S. Who thinks IPOs should get a little more for all the troubles in the last 2 launches? I say, it wouldn't hurt to premine an extra 100M and spread it out evenly to all the IPOs. Still a lot less than 50% premine that Auroracoin had. Just a thought.
