2861  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading vs Holding on: July 18, 2021, 05:16:24 PM
It's probably more than just the situation, it's more of a how are you as a person when it comes to investments because if you don't exactly know how you are for long-term or short-term then you will end up choosing the wrong thing of the two which is going to be unprofitable for you.
And that also can result with a good experience and lesson if that person who ended up badly wants to take another try.

It's important to distinguish your focus on the market, as a day trader or a holder. Everyone can be an easy holder but not an easy trader since it's requiring more actions than the usual holding.
2862  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: July 18, 2021, 04:15:54 PM
So which is better "trading or investing"?  Both are.  It just depends on what you want and how bad you want it.
Both are recommended if you're open to it.

There really are chances that you're not a good trader but you're a good investor and also a risk taker. Whilst in the side of trading, you can also good there but you're always get rekt with investments.

2863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does the epidemic have a big impact on Bitcoin? on: July 18, 2021, 03:16:46 PM
At the surged time, all coins dumped drastically and some blooming projects destroyed and experienced heavy burder. Some projects did not managed to overcome the bearish. Good thing is today we can see the market in better position than before. Although there are corrections, at least we are in greater phase than the first wave of covid.
Corrections are usual.

And the situation is truly much better than it was before. But there will always be positions getting in at highs and that makes sense for those sad people that have entered during those times.

While we're in the pandemic, it wasn't expected that the market will grow as it is today.
2864  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: July 17, 2021, 09:39:58 PM
It is impossible to completely eliminate poverty in the world. Everything should be balanced. Poverty and wealth should coexist. We can balance the economic, technological, and spiritual gaps and reduce poverty through study and hard work. Others will choose to give up because they are afraid of the risk of investment. Risky currencies like Bitcoin can often bring higher profits, and they miss the opportunity for wealth freedom.
Highly unlikely.

The two is balanced and that's why they're existing from one country to another. But what if sometime it comes that there will be those rich people going to those poor areas and building and helping those community to become richer?

I guess that's Utopia.
2865  Economy / Economics / Re: Does studying Economics in School make one to be economical or what on: July 17, 2021, 04:51:38 PM
When I was still at school, I've ignored a lot of important topics and subjects including the economics.

But as I enter bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, that made me love how its economy works. And I think other people would love to know about economics if they've got money involved on it which is important to learn the subject.
2866  Economy / Economics / Re: Higher Inflation Is Here to Stay for Years on: July 16, 2021, 11:48:47 PM
The inflation, it won't be gone and it's going to happen for each country unless that country will perform very well and won't have that increase in inflation.

It's the cycle, the inflation will increase but to decrease it will be hard or at least won't happen.

While there's inflation, as long as you hold bitcoin, it's one of the ways to beat it.
2867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's causing the decline this time? on: July 16, 2021, 11:28:11 PM
I think there are two possible reasons for this. One of them is Grayscale's actions. The other is the usual volatility of Bitcoin.
Grayscale is one and I think it will remain for 2-3 days until we see some green.

To be honest, I feel myself closer to the volatility of it. It's just going up and down like always. And actually there could be another reason also. When the buy amount is less than the sell amount, the price faces a resistance and drops down if it can't go over it.
It's common to see bitcoin do such. This shall pass once the date was already passed on and we're about to see that it will recover. What's good with this, it didn't pushed below $30k. I guess that we're still a good position until it breaks that barrier.
2868  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop losses on: July 16, 2021, 10:59:50 PM
BTW, I don't like stop loss. Sometimes, I noticed I miss big gain for it. Stop loss is helpful to protect fund. But, From my opinion It's not a good decision to use stop loss every time.

I am not saying stop loss is useless. But we have to use it perfectly. Sometimes coins up-down much and hit the stop loss, then pump  Smiley

I get your point.

But it has to be used if you're just protecting your fund and you want to make sure that you won't gain that much in losses. I understand that whenever a trader misses that jump after being dumped.

The only thing the trade has to do is to make sure that he/she has also sets a buying order after the stop loss.
2869  Economy / Economics / Re: Only young and naive guy believe in high risk high return on: July 16, 2021, 05:28:58 PM
I don't understand the comparison of war and investments but I agree to some point about high risk and high return logic.

And for those elite, yeah, they won't be the ones that will be on the floor battling their enemies and have their lives at risk but instead they hire someone to fight for them.

2871  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: July 15, 2021, 12:09:58 PM
As for my experience, yes.

Holding bitcoin is profitable but you need to be endure with the market whether it would be a long crash within months or a painful market within a day.

It's guaranteed on my experience that's why I'm still long for bitcoin and will remain to be.

You need to consider every circumstances as the market volatility really bring headeache if you are not ready to see how big your losses might be, not knowing what you are doing will harm your capital.

If you are into long term goal then prepare yourself and make sure that your endurance is really high, patience is the key factor for long term holders.
It's going to bring headache if you're not equipped with the basics of the market. But if you're informed and knowledgeable about it, you won't get an headache.

Although those fluctuations really are giving an headache but you're going to be accustomed to it.

2873  Economy / Economics / Re: Xi Jinping Beats Crypto, Bitcoin Mine Closes on: July 14, 2021, 08:21:22 PM
In few more months or year china will lift the ban once again, they have been doing the same for years for crying out loud, aren't you aware of that already? If they don't do this how will they buy BTC at cheap price? Also ask yourself why now? Why not ban when BTC was at 60,000$ china is one of the smartest country I know don't be fooled.
How can you be sure with that? we all know that they've been still in the crypto scene despite the news of them about banning ICO.

But this time it's entirely a different news, I guess they're trying to remove the competition towards bitcoin and what they've been doing for their CBDC.
2874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 14, 2021, 08:30:24 AM
I'm not following the USA games, but I saw some news related to the games and I confess I was surprised the USA lost. Even though they don't have the best players, the USA team has enough capacity to win every game. I believe, maybe the team isn't tuning in, or maybe some players aren't playing seriously.
They are still a powerhouse team.

Without those superstars that we know, I won't say that they don't have the best players. They still got the best from their roster but they lack of the other superstars that most fans knew that has been mentioned.
2875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: German Faketoshi is now arrested for his fraud on: July 13, 2021, 08:34:55 PM
Those scam schemes really are hitting people when they show a picture of theirs and someone who's very popular in the crypto industry.

What a technique and it never gets old. Well, is this a sign that most of those 'faketoshi's' were being arrested? and the next one... who knows what will happen next.  Tongue
2876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: July 13, 2021, 07:05:04 PM
Investing in government assets are mainly driven by the mentally of investors which is associated with old generations  or as they are called as" boomers". I think the situation has changed a lot with the current millennial generation who doesn't like the idea of centralization that's why millennials created decentralized finance
For the millennials, they're more okay with risk taking and they will enter every risky market as much as they can as long as it's a legitimate market.

And that's why many from the bitcoin community are young investors ranging to young adults because they understand the technology and concept that bitcoin has.

I agree about the old generation, they're more open with the traditional assets and investments than the newer ones.
2877  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: July 13, 2021, 10:30:45 AM
Personally, I trade for my own purposes.
First, I determine how much profit I want to get from each specific coin, then, when the goal is achieved, I sell some of the coins and see what happens to the market next.
I leave some of the coins intact in case my expectations exceed themselves.
We're all trading because we've got our own purposes and that is to make money.

We sell when there's a profit that we see and sometimes we have to sell so that we can cut our losses in the long term. There are times that our plans won't be met but as long as the profit is already there.

We're taking that profit as soon as possible so that the capital we have during the start will be recovered.
You are right and when it comes to decision making then this would be entirely be depending on someones own will and mindset because people are way too different on making that one.
We do have the main aim which is to make money but doing all sorts of things will really be different to each other so profitability does really differ depending on how you do all sorts of things.
One priority or aim is really on profits but due to some factors like fear, greed and way too impatient then this will really affect you badly which would result into
missed opportunities or selling way too late but as long we are on greens then that would really count.
Those factors about having fear and greed.

These will lead the trader to go into panic whenever he sees the market unfavorable to the likes of him. And that trader is likely new to the market.

That's why it's common to have those traders experience the worse trades first before learning from it and can depict when is the right time to sell after learning.
2878  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: July 13, 2021, 09:16:42 AM
Currently, my working time is 100% online, in addition to making money-making videos on youtube, I also do online money-making campaigns, sometimes working all day for more than 10 hours and playing games that can be invested in. make money like aixe, so everyday for me is almost 100% making money online, a month profit is about $ 250 - $ 300 depending on the month but life is stable during this covid season
That's good to know that you've been maximizing your time and making money online.

Is $250-$300 is just an estimation or it's a firm amount that you're earning online with those activities that you do? When you say 'aixe', I think that you meant to say axie, right?

AFAIK, people who got it are earning more than the amount you've said per month.
It is axie indeed since its currently on hype now and basing on the amount then it is usually the amount that a certain person could earn on that game as a scholar so i presuming that it is likely
he's talking about that game which i could say that it could really be a life saving into this pandemic situation but depending on which country you do live in because value of $200-300 isnt
really that much when you do live on a 1st world country but if you do live on 3rd world then that would really be a significant one.
Hmm, yeah as a scholar there's a portion that goes to the owner and to him, maybe as a scholar and that's the amount that he's getting. Not bad for having no investment at all but only your time and effort.

Yeah, for first world countries, that amount isn't a lot but it's helpful for those developing and the rest of those countries next to it.
2879  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Bitcoin Faucet in 2011 on: July 13, 2021, 07:52:08 AM
Damn almost 6000 Bitcoin available for faucet? and giving away 0.001 bitcoin per visitors?

This is the reason why i wanted to create a time machine so i can return to those time when bitcoin was being denied nor trusted by people.

Not 6000 bitcoins but 5.680 BTC.

That amount of bitcoin on 2011 was still not that much but it's already a good way to have the people visit to your faucet and take as much as ads on your faucet.

Imagine how much that giveaway in today's time but most likely all of those were already spent.
2880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Better than "GOLD" for criminals, BTC is easier to steal; Easier to scam; on: July 12, 2021, 10:04:22 PM
You become a target if you're too vocal about owning bitcoin in public places. You don't have to tell everyone that you're into bitcoin.

And about being scammed, everywhere there is a scam and it's not only in the bitcoin community that has scams. But also in real life, there are scams and hacks.
Exactly, thank you for saying this. If you are flexing your money in social media platform and you always have it on topic when you are talking to someone then you are going to meet someone that will also tell it to others until the stories found it's way on a malicious person. But OP is right that it's much easier to steal bitcoin than gold since there's no manpower needed unless there's a security that you need to breach, most things stolen nowadays are digital anyway.
Well for stealing bitcoins.

If you don't usually connect your seeds/private keys to the web and you've got your own cold storage, you're unlikely to be hacked.

There were those people that have been hacked and their bitcoins were stolen because they've never been secure and didn't do the basics of keeping their keys safe and probably signs up for a phishing site.
