1921  Economy / Speculation / Re: Realist World of Crypto Space on: May 30, 2022, 11:55:13 PM
Well, just another bullish opinion about bitcoin. Count all the halvings until 2036 and if there's not that much drastic change to the world and the crypto market moves the same as is, then we'll be able to actually witness that greatest ATH.

No matter what any popular person or not predicts, there's only one goal by each and everyone of us and that is to HODL and sell when we're comfortable but if there's no reason in doing, don't do it.
1922  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: May 30, 2022, 11:05:01 PM
It's now part of the business model to have it and what's commendable is what you've said. Everything is well handled and there's no complaint that's quite hard on their part to resolve.

But anything has been done and proven, and it's recognizable that they're doing well. When they've said that sportsbook will be back but no timeframe, it was back the soonest that we haven't thought.

This is what I commend on Owl. They are developing there casino smoothly despite some minor problem encounter in the past they still manage to fix it as soon as possible and do a regular buyback using the part of the casino profit. This buy back program play an important role for the faith of token holders to the Owl casino. They are not giving away too much Owl tokens in there airdrop program instead they offering there own stable coin as a reward with wagering requirements unlike other casino that generously distributing there own tokens for the partnership benefits which typically hits hard to the valuation of there token.

@Owl does the current mining pool will expired or will you extend it? What will gonna happened to the tokens left staked when the pool expired? Do we still need manually unstaking it or the unstaking process will be automatic?
And their mods are active on the chat addressing every problem a player tells.

Until now I wasn't able to get into staking since it's always quick in being full.

I think when it expires, it will automatically just unstake and then we have to wait again until they open the staking once again. I hope that they'll open more slots for its opening so that almost everybody can stake.

1923  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Legendary Forumla of Dip = Opportunity on: May 30, 2022, 10:11:20 PM
But in the end, bitcoin still fell below the forecast and people received losses.
Loss, if they've sold at losses then that's a loss. But if they don't and just hold it, that's just paper loss.

People have to remember that when they sell and it's with the price that they'll be dwelling in losses then that's their mistake and personal decision.

But if not, they have to make sure that it's what they like to do even they know that there's a recovery period for bitcoin as usual and it's known by every investor that has been in here even just for a year or two.
1924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which blockchain is the best for practical usage in life: ETH/BSC/Cronos/next4? on: May 30, 2022, 09:35:14 PM
It will remain as ETHs.

Even the fee right now for the ethereum network is quite high, nothing beats it as a choice for most of the tokens. But what's good right now is that if a new token is launched.

They have an option to be on different chains and that's the beauty of it. Like it can be bep20, bsc, on polygon and even in eth/erc20.
1925  Economy / Economics / Re: Enticing customers to make payment with crypto. on: May 29, 2022, 11:35:02 PM
Is this a possible way to entice customers who do not like to pay with crypto, Will offering discounts for goods when a customer pays with crypto or free gifts encourage and entice more customers to use their crypto for payment of goods? If I offer discounts which will encourage more of my customers to get crypto, how can I possibly sustain it for long to ensure that i don't run at a loss?
If giving discounts and some free gifts, there's still a way to cope with it through bringing your profits first. Your mark-up has to be a little down if you'll budget the discounts.

That's all you need to do, a re-calculation on how much will come to you and how much you'll give to those crypto payments from your customers as an incentive.

@danadc it doesn’t matter who launched it first what does matters is what they do post the launch, and so far people including me believe that in the long run these tokens will give good returns to the holders. Also till now I haven’t seen many complaints against them which shows that they’re handling their customers well, and lastly I’m sure that the team would be looking to innovate because to survive in this industry the casino needs to constantly innovate and come up with new ideas or contests.
There's an impact for being the first but I get the point of what you've said and it's true.

It's now part of the business model to have it and what's commendable is what you've said. Everything is well handled and there's no complaint that's quite hard on their part to resolve.

1927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin Nearly Bailed Me Out on: May 29, 2022, 09:44:45 PM
Great you were able to use your stored seed to retrieve your funds in the old wallet. At the same time it is very dangerous to do so in the future, it can be compromised and when someone have access to it all your funds will be gone. Preferably and more secured when it is saved offline and kept in a safe place.
Yeah, like a friend who's knowledgeable in accessing those seed phrases and borrowed your phone.

While using the phone, he accidentally or intentionally searched for some things on your phone and found that screenshot of your seed. Well, not really a good idea to keep it there.

Just like what everyone said about writing, it will cost you some time and effort but it's still the best way to keep those keys.
1928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to struggle hard when you in choise of Payment Gate for Gambling project on: May 28, 2022, 05:10:20 PM
Have someone research for you what are the known payment systems for each of those countries. Because there could be conflicts if your payment system will be in crypto.

We've heard the news about China restricting crypto transactions.

And that's why you have to make a research first before deciding what is to accept and that depends on the demand for each of those countries if those are the countries as your target market.

Maybe conduct a short market survey or just dig info over the net.
Because just like you said, since China has restrictions when it comes to crypto, it is not advisable to have payment in crypto only.
You will consider their fiat, CNY, and that will entail other legal requirements to fulfill to accept this method.
Japan and Thailand may be more acceptable with crypto payment, but then again, you need to research about their gambling protocols.
Yes.

Every single payment method that will give them demand is what they must have. Any adaptable payment method that's friendly not just to them but mostly to their players for those specific countries is what they aim for.

It's actually one of the first moves that they have to do and that's good since someone has asked for it.
1929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 28, 2022, 09:50:44 AM
A forced 7th game for Miami and Boston.

My prediction will be GSW and Miami Heat in the finals but for the champion for this season I really think that it will be in GSW as they really prepared for this playoffs. They have healthy players and I see that Klay also really are at heat to win this playoffs with the help of Poole, Looney and Wigins I really think no one can stop their offense most of their game the opposing players have score advantage after halftime but after that they still managed to caught up and win the game.
I also think that it will be GSW.

They've been off for the past seasons and it's now their time to shine again but that's also the same with Miami. Still, a lot of time for GSW to be in the right condition before they face the winner of the east.
1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: May 28, 2022, 07:14:48 AM
What's your ultimate choice? Or both?  Smiley
1. ETH
2. BNB

Well, that's my order but both of them are good to hold. Right now, it's more essential to me to have more ETH since the price got lower. But what I'm currently doing is collecting more BNB.

So to balance it and if my budget is limited, I'll go first with Ethereum this time because the drop is quite high. And if you can own both at decent numbers, why not have them?
1931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to struggle hard when you in choise of Payment Gate for Gambling project on: May 27, 2022, 11:20:48 PM
We want to open a gaming business for Asian countries - Japan, China, and Thailand. What payment systems do you think will be convenient for this region? Thanks in advance.

1932  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mentor experience in crypto trading. on: May 27, 2022, 10:20:39 PM
I envy those that have personal mentors. I guess a lot of people here are independent and have learned from others' teachings and articles about the topics that we want to learn.

If you follow an influencer through social media, they can be said as mentors as long as the topics they're tackling is related to the need you want to have.

But it's still different from someone who actually gives you the idea on what you must do and directly talks to you.
1933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hard lesson I learnt from crypto in 2 Years on: May 27, 2022, 09:21:43 PM
Totally agree.  I've also experienced losses that shouldn't have happened.  I'm following what some of the accounts I've followed on Instagram and Twitter have said.  I think they are crypto enthusiasts and they are responsible for what they say.  I think it's better to follow our own instincts and choose based on what we believe in ourselves.  At least it's our own choice, not just because of the FOMO the influencers have caused.  Because I think a lot of them don't really understand crypto and just to increase the number of views and earn profit for themselves.
You just follow them if they have something good to say that will encourage you as you invest and trade.

But you don't solely rely your decisions on them because they're not financial advisors and even an actual financial advisor says, you don't wholly base your decisions on them.

There's only a handful influencer that you'll respect because they're genuine like Andreas but majority of them, they're all clickbaiters and hype makers.
1934  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is doing well in Thailand...or is it? on: May 26, 2022, 11:52:49 PM
It's good for the crypto space there in Thailand.

They're encouraging people to trade to government registered exchanges so that they'll also have the security that everyone is on the right track of using a legal exchange.

Other than that, it has to stop and then the taxes will come. Well, not that new and basically it's going to cover everything there through this introduction as it sets and prepares everyone in accepting the crypto taxes after.
1935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Really Trustworthy? on: May 26, 2022, 10:10:23 PM
I'll buy all of those available bitcoins for free.

And there's still some use that I can do to them just like storing them and having this piece of history that once became a great asset for the entire world.

There's that value that can't be removed on it even the monetary value goes to zero. The sentimental value and impact it had to many lives including me is priceless yet precious.
1936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Well, you put your money in your luna if it gets forked? on: May 26, 2022, 09:30:31 PM
The past few weeks have been the most challenging for there luna coin investors, as the network witnessed a hard attack that led to its price crash but then we can't give up on the project since it has some good prospects. And recently the CEO announced a recovery plan so am forced to ask will still buy the forked luna coin if it lunched or you rather look away from it?
If you have money to throw and think of it as something you can afford to lose again then you're free to explore again with their project.

Honestly, a project that has already performed bad, I wouldn't look at it anymore. Maybe will just look at its progress and pricing but I'll not throw my money on it.

I just don't trust them anymore if they've failed already.
1937  Economy / Speculation / Re: What was the most deceitful speculation you ever fell for on: May 25, 2022, 11:58:46 PM
OP, those were speculations and don't forget that each crypto is a speculative asset and that's why we're giving prices and numbers and it's very typical on this market.

I am one of those people that have believed that bitcoin shall hit $100k last year but does that goal stopped just because it didn't happened on that year? No. I'm still hopeful and just waiting for it to happen.

There's nothing to lose if we're setting to that price because we all know that someday bitcoin's going to be there due to valid reasons and factors.
1938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Old Casino Keep Up Without Support Here In Bitcointalk Or Signature Campaign on: May 25, 2022, 11:00:55 PM
I still believe that Bitvest, 77Coin, and other trusted casinos that stopped their marketing here to come back here if their stats and their players numbers going down, they can still easily attract because of the number of years behind them, and of course their reputation.
They'll be back for sure if they've seen that the actual users count and active players have gone down. They'll create a promo together with their marketing and campaign for them to attract visitors again.

Well, currently, the plan of the campaign has been fulfilled and executed very well. It ran for several years and the results were good on them and the same for the other that used the forum as their marketing place because it's very effective.
1939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEWO just got rug pulled on: May 25, 2022, 10:08:27 PM
I just don't understand that despite they are one of the priority projects of Kommunitas launchpad (based on strict criteria), why they still have initiated to pull this one off?
It's likely that they've planned it before doing this.

Until they're not able to reach that goal and plan, they're making it look like they're an actual serious team working for this project. As they say, "fake it until you make it".

This is so common in the market lately that there are too many projects rugpulling because of the money that they can easily make after being introduced to the community and having a good share of volume.
Well, it looks like thats really the case. They just waited for the perfect timing to exit and leave the people who trusted them. I feel bad for the investors who became victim of this project. Nowadays many projects are trash, thats why its hard to find a legit that will give you a profit once you invest. The reason why I dont trust a projects that are not existing for years because it might turn like this.
Most projects that have intention to rugpull do wait for the perfect timing and opportunity doing it.

It's like everyday that we're seeing a project that has been new and then a rugpull has been made. Investors should realize that they have to avoid majority of the new projects and get a focus on the older ones that has been solid and proven.

Hopefully, those who are involved will have to suffer and will be caught for what they've done.
1940  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I buy BTC or DCA other coins? on: May 24, 2022, 11:58:58 PM
I'd go for Bitcoin IMO.
Altcoins are very risky to invest in, you didn't know about their movement either it will have a pump or dump or just because of the Bitcoin movement they also swinging.
In fairness to the alts of his choice, they're good IMO but nothing beats buying more bitcoin.

They're not the typical altcoins that will rugpull an will have a pump and dump sequence. They're just going with the flow of the market of bitcoin so they're quite handy to buy with.

Still, talking of the best choice, bitcoin should be the best and economically option for you OP.
