2881  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: PRICE STABILITY on: November 30, 2018, 11:26:23 AM
Do you agree if Bitcoin finds a meeting point for stable prices in the range of $ 4000 - $ 5000 ...? and I think you might not agree but if you look at a few weeks until now, this is what happens to the price of bitcoin still at $ 4000 maybe this is the best way for bitcoin or bitcoin that is still in transition
There would never be a stabilization because money moves, Yes bitcoin stayed for long time on $4000 to $5000 range but its never enough to say that it would be stable it just became less volatile at that time. Let us be knowledgeable about the terms because there will never be a stabilization in here, i guess it would be better if we use 'less volatile' to avoid misconception.
2882  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cheapest way to buy bitcoins on: November 30, 2018, 09:42:23 AM

does the bitcoin become cheaper if you buy from a country with a low currency value?
Definitely there is no way to buy bitcoin in a cheap way just by using a different currency. Well obviously the standardized currency is the USD that is why most of the exchangers are in USD based but some are on their own legal currency. It does not make any difference in price if you buy bitcoin but i suggests to directly buy bitcoin in usd to avoid some conversion if ever.
2883  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I regret that i entered trading too late on: November 29, 2018, 09:54:06 AM
Hi friends I have regret that i entered into trading too late if my head had known this trading field before only i could have started early only , and now i would be making profits by now , but now i am learning still because i started too late

Now i see many people start trading at very less age only if i see them i regret that why at that age i didn't start trading

Do you have regret like this ?
There is no feeling of regret at all times you could have loss either when you enter early its a matter of decision while you are playing on the market. You only say this one because of the last year's market trend and bitcoin price actually you should've done something on that if not then there is no reason to regret. You can always win on this market with a proper approach and market knowledge and most especially the timing everything will be perfect when you have that.
2884  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best trading platform? on: November 28, 2018, 11:31:02 AM
I trade through forex for so many years now. I would like to try crypto trading. What platform would you recommend to me? Or maybe what's the best you haved used? And also can you guys give me tips while starting?
I guess there is no best exchange or platform to trade but there are large capitalization per market and that is why the price of cryptocurrency varies depends on what platform. Centralized or Decentralized its your choice but i preferrably use the centralized one as i think it is more fast and transparent. It also depends on your market familiarity but it seems like most of the exchange are the same but different on UIs.
2885  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to survive on: November 28, 2018, 08:45:15 AM
Hey guys!

Just interested if you still earn any money? The situation is so horrible that it's interesting to me if someone still feels good.
Maybe you mine or you continue to invest in something.

On the whole, how to survive now? Hold, trade, sell, invest, mine?
It is not to recommendable to trade right now since the market is continuously declining and what is more trusted thing to do is to hold while it is happening. If you are really into money making on this bearish market try to be on marketplace section, there are several people who needs help or buying services. Best thing to do now is to buy potential coins like eos and xrp.
2886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's go to Singapore! We can pay with Btc there. on: November 27, 2018, 01:27:51 PM
I saw this article today: https://news.bitcoin.com/singapore-regulatory-framework-cryptocurrency-payment-services/ about paying with cryptocurrencies in Singapore.
The central bank has finalized the new regulatory framework for payment services and they have included cryptocurrencies.
I think this is the future of banking and something that all countries should start doing.
The plus of making this change in the financial system is that there will be less money laundering and terrorism financing risks in the crypto world which is good for normal people that have hope and invest in online coins but bad for the ones that use the online coins for the reasons mentioned before.

What do you think? Is it a good idea to introduce cryptocurrencies in the financial systems of the world's countries?
Not a thing to be shocked on country like singapore anymore, i've seen what that country is capable of i've been there for a month and it feels like home to me the technology is fascinating and living is easy and fun. But for now im not interested on bitcoin payment or by any means because of happening in the market my $200 could be a $1000 worth in the future because of bitcoin price decline.
2887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A suggestion for ICO promoters and bounty managers on: November 27, 2018, 09:55:00 AM
Being a member of Bitcointalk for more than 6 years, I am quite a bit bothered by what happening in the bounty section for the past few months. This is what I have noticed:

1. A lot of scam projects are creating bounty campaigns and ANN threads. Once the bounty campaign is finished, they vanish all of a sudden without paying the bounty hunters and leaving the investors in limbo.

2. The quality of the bounty managers have gone down. Junior level members are acting as bounty managers and they often don't update the spreadsheets and sometimes indulge in cheating by enrolling proxy accounts to the campaign.

3. Large number of newbs are signing up for bounty campaigns, often enrolling using purchased Facebook / Twitter accounts (esp. in Social media bounty). The quality of posts being done by the bounty campaign participants have gone down quite a lot during the last few months.

4. Even those bounties which pay end up listing at 80% or 90% discount to their original prices and in the end the honest bounty campaign participants end up with very small rewards. On the other hand, those signing up with 10-12 multiple accounts end up with sizeable rewards. And it is the latter category, which indulges in token dumping.

5. There is no incentive to hold on to the tokens, as a majority of the ICO promoters dump their tokens in the market and vanish. If you check, the vast majority of the listed ICOs are in a dormant or defunct state now.

I have a few suggestions to resolve some of the issues, before the issues go out of hand.

1. There should be a requirement that if anyone want to post an ANN in Bitcointalk, he must deposit 0.1% of the total amount (of the softcap) in an escrow account. For example, if a project is planning to raise $50,000,000 from the investors, then before creating the ANN thread the promoters must deposit $50,000 in either BTC or ETH to an escrow account held by the Bitcointalk staff. If the soft-cap is smaller, like $500,000 then the escrow amount should be 0.1% of that, i.e $500. If the promoters vanish, then this amount should be forfeited. Also, if the promoters go back on their promises once the tokens are listed, then this escrow amount should be frozen and may be (partially) released only if they achieve the objectives which they had promised earlier.

2. There should be a list of approved bounty managers and those outside this list should not be allowed to act in this role. There are a lot of trusted bounty managers here, like Yahoo62278 and Lutpin. I don't think that newbs should be given priority over them.

3. In order to participate in a bounty campaign, it should be mandatory for all the users to post their ETH address in the "Location" field in the profile. I have noticed a large number of spammers using someone else's BTT account and their own ETH address to enroll in to social media bounties. This step will put and end to the practise and will weed out the spammers.

4. All the bounty campaign participants must be carefully screened before the payout. In order to prevent token dumping, a few steps can be taken. Since the bounty reward is 1% to 3% of the total amount, the promoters themselves can purchase this portion from the exchanges. Or they can make the bounty payments in BTC/ETH. There should also be a condition that the promoters should hold on to 90% of their tokens for at least 12 months. (Because I have noticed that it is the promoters who do dumping in the vast majority of the cases, and they blame it on the bounty hunters).

5. KYC must be mandatory for ICO promoters and bounty campaign managers (unless they are on level 2 DT). If this is done, then the scammers won't be able to set up multiple fake ICOs.

I am posting this because now the real impact is becoming obvious. Experienced users are staying away from bounty campaigns and even very promising ICOs are getting listed at heavily-discounted rates. This can't go on forever.

Good ICOs need to be protected from the negativity in the market created by the fake ICOs.
Honest bounty hunters needs to be protected from the cheaters
Properly run bounty campaigns and airdrops should be appreciated and differentiated from the poorly managed ones.
This should be read by many especially those who are legit and truthful bounty hunters, let them petition for this one and let the bitcointalk staffs be aware of what is happening right now on this forum. I've also noticed that this forum are gradually owning by a few people with a huge number of accounts eliminating some people to go hunt on such the campaigns and i think KYC must be a thing on this platform.
2888  Local / Pilipinas / Re: What will happen after all Bitcoins are fully mined? on: November 25, 2018, 08:15:58 AM
Satoshi programmed that the total supply of bitcoin that will ever be mined would be 21 Million and currently there are 17,388,387 BTC in circulating supply as at the time this post was being made. In no time the total supply of bitcoins will be mined and most people are making a whole lot of speculations that Bitcoin will collapse after that.
Well i beg to differ because with the increase acceptance of bitcoin as a payment method by marketplaces and online platforms the value of bitcoin will increased with time and the miners would also get funds from confirming transactions on the bitcoin network. Bitcoin is not dead folks, it is a cryptocurrency and it is very volatile hence can fluctuate every now and then.
2889  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHY DO WE NEED A TRADING PLAN ? on: November 25, 2018, 07:09:51 AM
Build yourself a trading plan that will guide you in the market, and this is actually the most effective way to actively remove the loss transactions due to emotion.  Wink
monitoring prices first and recording price movements for some time, this might provide a better picture for us to predict future prices, indeed it cannot be a benchmark for us to start trading but at least it can make us more confident, because the price of bitcoin is very easy to move up and down.
Just a monitor is not enough to make a choice, but at least it can give you a little view, you can make plans in trade like what percentage of profits you will make, and what percentage of losses you can afford, so when technical analysis is done you know when to sell it
I agree, technical analysis is more important than just merely monitoring the prices. Analyzing the whole scheme you are going to do is going to give you best results unlike just depending on the prices buy low sell high is not always a thing to do more likely applicable on just bitcoin and high priced coin in the market. Technicalities on the market will never fail you if you are knowing what the processes are.
2890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don`t care about the market. I will HODL to USE! on: November 24, 2018, 08:58:12 AM
hold a smart choice rather than having to sell at a low price, this is only a matter of price and time so it's likely that prices will grow as soon as possible and the market will soon be available.
Holding is not a choice right now, it is a must with this critical market. I don't think selling these days would be beneficial since the prices are really low and so are the bitcoin that hit $4000 last week, market is kinda devastated right now and holding is the main thing to do. We have seen this happened last year on early ber months, but think of the year is not yet ended.
2891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your expectations for ICOs in 2019? on: November 23, 2018, 03:19:06 PM
What are your expectations for ICOs in 2019?

For no one it is a secret that this year for the ICOs was not the best  Undecided, but what do you think will happen to them by 2019?

Will it improve significantly?
If 2018 is bad for ICO's then 2019 would be worse. We have seen the greediness of people from this year resulting to a bad experience on the market after a 2017 blast and market hype of bitcoin. If ever ICO's would find a way to erase the bad things about them that investors thinks then 2019 would also be good, but who knows what 2019 would bring?
2892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we make Crypto go viral? on: November 22, 2018, 12:02:58 PM
actually, social media is the best way to spread crypto, but dont forget to prove if crypto is exist.
we can attract them for money for the first time, but at least want it or not, they must learn about crypto. as time go by they will see that crypto is just not only how to produce what you want, but this is future that must be spread to make us better
Well, social media is the great influential of all kind of advertisement since internet is widely known and used by the people around the globe. Advertising crypto to facebook means you are trying to reach out a approximately 2 billion users or people, while on twitter you are trying to reach for approximately 100 million people and by that you can make the crypto viral and help the market too.
2893  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: THE NEXT MARKET MOVEMENT. UP OR DOWN? on: November 22, 2018, 10:16:34 AM
for now I predict the price of bitcoin will drop by 5K-4K $, I am also still looking for alternative crypto to trade and I think if I don't find it then I will still trade bitcoin again
Predicting bitcoin now is really uncertain since that market is misbehaving misleading to what we are expecting it. The bitcoin's price long time price stabilization is has been broke these past few weeks and the market is declining now. Even alternative coins are decreasing on demand and increasing on supply in the market which causes a massive prices reduction.

2895  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC broke all major support lines, and the worse is yet to come. on: November 21, 2018, 10:37:56 AM
Yeah we need to be realistic, the broken support line seems going to make more panic situation for every traders, and I believe this is not the end of falling, but everything is just speculation, with this unstable market there are possibilities that the market is going to turn over sooner, so its important ti not fall into the fud news and start the panic sell
I think the supporting lines are just getting preparing for what is we are waiting for, the bull run. It is not panic that caused the trader and holder to sell so but the urge to push the bitcoin on its trigger point for skyrocketing. Bitcoin will not fall down as it already has the place to reign for so many more years even the market is really unstable. Market will bounce and that's for sure.
2896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market in depression on: November 20, 2018, 12:46:19 PM
It is possible that to restore the market will need not only 2018, but the first half of 2019!
This is the nearest thing to happen on the cryptomarket, we are just expecting the market to pump without us it is an illusion. Since the market prices are high we cannot achieve much higher than it is and so the we are on a downward movement. 2018 will not be enough for the market to pump and the bull to run off, Skyrocket will going to borrow the 2019's first quarter maybe even the second one to give market hype.
2897  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not Panic! on: November 20, 2018, 10:39:29 AM
Swiss Bitcoin ETF has been approved and SEC ETF will be approved in December and there is BAKKT coming in December 5th, Bitcoin will Bull Run this year, this price drop was a chinese dump, nothing to scare, we are going to moon this year! BTC Core!
I guess this is just a dump scare for all since bitcoin's price stabilize in quite long time. SEC ETF is coming on december so there is no need to worry about the bull run and BAKKT is back upping its price on this year, so more or less the bull run will be on 2018 to 2019 not like last year which the bull closed its doors before the year ended.
2899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is less stable than some ALTs ! on: November 18, 2018, 12:57:06 PM

So regardless of the reason of this last dip. I noticed 2 of the top 10 coins ( XRP and XLM) sort of survived the dip and performed well against BTC which usually is not the case comparing this dip to  previews dips . take 11th oct 2018 for example.

in USD rate in the last 7 days :

BTC dropped : 13.48%
XRP dropped : 6.7 %
XLM dropped : 9.2%

also XRP surpassed ETH "not for the first time" but this time i think it will last.

I think that these 2 coins will remain more stable than bitcoin for a long time.

seems like centralization or semi-centralization in crypto is going to take over one way or the other. I hope not but we shall see soon.

tell me what you guys think?

Guess you can only say this because the price of bitcoin is higher than that so the range of bitcoin is more complex than some altcoins. You cannot compare the bitcoin to other altcoin which has a price less than its half, it is way too far different to bitcoin. Just imagine if bitcoin declines up to 50% its price is still higher than altcoins decreasing price to 50%.
2900  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best exchange for Day/Short term trading on: November 18, 2018, 09:51:35 AM
Decentralized exchanges, while great are certainly not ideal for day or short term trading since you need liquidity and fast trades. Something like binance would be much much better, it has liquidity and pretty much instant trades.
If the case is you need liquidity and fast trade then you should go to non third-party exchange like Bancor Network to trade and exchanging tokens. Day trading is risky most of the time but using exchange like bancor with smooth transfer will give you less risk with your asset. This is my preference for day trading and it depends on you and your researches about some leading exchanges.
