If you look at the top 50 coins, most of them are the older coins. You might think it's the ICO's starting to dominate but it's not. In fact, if you go up to 150 on CMC, most of it is older coins. (Where are the newer ICO's in CMC?).
I think the crypto market will be around for a long time, but it's hard to see the market cap at over 105 billion and a lot of these older coins not recovering very fast from the spring highs.
It's going to be interesting to see when some of the sell orders people set back then come into position.

It might be better off for another rebrand down the road, without the "Nut Sack" reference right upfront. Not really family friendly.

It was one coin that just wasn't hype, vapourware, or just a website. They have a working technology. Maybe they can go back to their old model instead of being like the Amazon of Crypto in six months flat. Just don't stake everything only about 20 or so really good coins.

What you have to understand is that 1 satoshi is ridiculously small. If it's worth 1 satoshi, it probably means two things:
1) The supply is really, really big 2) The coin is abandoned, a total shitcoin
You have to look at the value of the coin, what it offers, and you have to look at the total supply to establish if the price is or isn't undervalued.
A coin with a low total max supply may be worth 0.001 or something, but that may be really undervalued and could reach 0.1 in the future and that's a nice x100 gain.
Finding a great coin, with a total supply that is not super inflated that is at 1 satoshi is IMO impossible.
But don't most coins without ICO's have to start out at 1 sat?

how many coins i need to put in 1 block to get the fastest flat reward? is it 7 hours? also the flat reward is still 1000 coins and yearly interest 7%?
thanks
Good question. There is room for low entry, high staking coins. Why no answer to this? I can understand if there isn't much of a team that wants this coin to succeed at this early part of the game, but the developer should be willing to answer questions like this. An interested team helps the price grow. There has to be really good staking advantages for new coins to succeed, or something else that attracts people to them. It sounds like this coin could be it, but it would be good to know how things are panning out without having to try for oneself. I hate having to read through 30+ page threads for answers. Why no answer? Because even i deserve some holiday time with family! One of the most important aspects of cryptocurrency is research so i would suggest you read and i dont just mean this thread. I would gladly reply if i understood what is the question. LanaCoin is PoW minable and PoS stakeable crypto. Sha256d. Mining and staking diffuculty is retargeted on every block so in both cases it diff is readjusted multiple time per day. Lana has zero premined and had a fair launch. Regarding the advantages in reality one must compete for PoW and PoS blocks there is no quarantee that if you aquaire 1M Lanas that you will find 1,10 or 100 PoS blocks. Same goes for PoW. Its is possible that some big miner comes at exactly the same moment when you start to mine and you share of hashing power will become less relevant or your pool share less rewarding. Cheers. Thanks. It's hard to know which POS coins pay back a definite amount, not like solo mining. I find more POS coins pay back a flat amount, like this person was asking. Not regarding your thread, but in general, there should be some clear language used, like POS Solo, verses POS Pool with pre-mine flat percentage rate paid. There are all kinds of rewards for pools, like sharing with the pool some of the block reward but not all of it, etc.

I'm just wondering if someone with deep pockets is going to get behind it and try to make it mainstream with ads/app/etc. Seems likes that could be up.

Please join XST Slack. There are huge updates last month. This thread is not updated especially the first page.
This is where investors go to check up on the current state of coins. People don't want to join every slack group if they're diversifying in many coins.

I'm looking for the next RAIN coin, something worth buying a lot of. If you go to Novaexchange or Yobit you see a lot of 1 Sat coins but its hard to know which ones are new with good sincere teams. Linda was an example that they're still popping up.
You've got to research your coins, most probably no one is going to tell you hey here's a cheap coin that will explode in the next week, buy it. Try checking the ANN threads, slack or telegram channels, assess the coin and don't invest too much on it. You're most likely not going to win on all of them but if you win on 1 and lose on 9 you'll probably still win overall. I always do due diligence before I buy. I'm bringing up a topic to get some ideas to check out.

I always liked this coin, propagating about 400 plants a year in my yard, but it's going to take 204 BTC to move it to 2 sat on Novaexchange. I like that a coin doesn't just have to be about money. I haven't read through the thread, but I could see like giving sprouts to kids in schools as a way to teach staking coins and ideas like that.

Looks good. Yes is one of my favorite bands Maybe one day some coins can be burnt because coin supply looks pretty huge, but then if crypto gets huge in the future, maybe its ok. Is there a way to buy this for less than 1 sat? I am offering .5 sat for about .002 BTC worth.

Sorry, I'm not sure what this means? ..and he walked out of our lives forever... I think he's saying 1 million for the dev out of 21 million coins total, and it's a cryptolife coin which is a made to order coin anyone can buy.

Ideas worth nothing, now I see, only money works and make ideas to work, look how they forked Bitcoin in bright daylight and blatantly speak about it's legitimacy and authenticity, lol just because they have hundreds of millions to back it up. Another thing that could fire up a project simply is a shitty one page website, a few pages of PDF for a whitepaper, a few hundred bucks for hosting and advertising with some articles plus paying an exchange to list your token, and having a * after it's name on coinmarketcap then you are all set.
Could any of you show me one token which has a working project/platform behind it? every single token in the whole crypto market points to a half baked website with just words, empty and meaningless words, but only a teenager knew how to write a few lines of code enough to hold a few parts together for as long as you are visiting their site, lol and when you actually try to make use of the token on a so called platform, you'll end up with a game which only takes a few hours to build, or you'll get redirected to signing up for newsletter to receive any future updates but one thing they all have in common is the link pointing to "BUY". lol How facked up could you be to launch an ICO token that represents a secure and fast crypto currency with private transactions? imagine Satoshi selling Bitcoin in ICO, and such a shitty tokens being traded on exchanges.
People are making each other money. Look how much money is spent in horseracing, or casinos, or trading Star Wars memorabilia? The collectible toy industry is probably the same marketcap as crypto. And, these are little pockets of people teaching themselves about tech, about investing, and making money doing it.

I would advise people watch out for sending coins to wallets that are new and haven't synched. On well supported coins, that's no problem, but looks like I may have just lost the coins I sent to this wallet's address. Read my previous message.
Wallet works fine. You seem to be the only person to have such difficulty. And even a novice crypto enthusiast knows not to transfer 100% of your coins before you even let your wallet sync. It's user error. Had the wallet up for a couple days on a spare computer and I just checked on it and it said it was not online. I booted it up again and same problem. Other wallets on that computer are doing fine. Its the version that I got from the OP.

This is definitely one of the best staking coins out there. Thanks. Keep up the great work.
Things returned to normal and staking again. Just learning how to do all this, a lot of variations between POS coins.

So this is like solo mining? I always thought POS was more like pool mining where everyone got paid.
I've gotten paid in staking similar size amounts in several wallets (RAIN, Doubloon, Piggycoin, Growthcoin, Linda, and Noble).

It will be nice to see the major coins get their old highs back from about four months ago.

I found I had to get to it via going on google with "bittrex bitcoin cash" and find the link there. From there, it would let me trade.
