2141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][JSUS] JESUSTOKEN - OVER 1 MIL. GIVEN AWAY -- NEW CHRISTMAS AIRDROP!!! on: December 29, 2017, 05:11:08 PM
Thanks, CoinCollector.  I have to admit the trading season and usual work I do has taken me away from much development on the JesusToken.   The market, often because of the exchanges, has had me to continually rethink things.   First, trading more in Dodge and then using Litecoin (maybe soon BCC) to send to Coinbase to cash out occasionally,  there is always something to help the small investor stay indexing the market as much as possible, which is what I like to do.  I also love to trade the microcaps because they always have the big percentage gains that we see in large caps like ADA and IOTA (although they almost never stay at those heights).

I will PM each person who has responded to the second level airdrop because I figure even though they were sincere, they probably aren't reading BTCTalk much and then probably the threads directly related to their "other" livelihood, the one being of the Spirit and other being of the wealth here in Cryptocurrency.   I don't fault them for that but I believe that the value of JesusToken will climb soon once I put some sincere effort into it.  Even if we have to start buying the tokens, which isn't unethical (ideas on that?), it would help get JesusToken on the map.

I would love to get more of the third airdrop requests.  There is no set end date to this, which is another innovation of this coin to get more adapters.   We did have takers on the Christmas airdrop which is no longer open.  My dream is that they got their loved ones to learn how to use WAVES and sent them some tokens.  It's never too late for that.

For voting on c-cex.com

https://c-cex.com/?id=vote&v=1512

It says: At least 0.1 BTC balance required for voting.

I guess we will have to see what the fate of this coin is.  Hopefully, someone who knows more than most of us will help us out.  I don't know why we can't mine this now.

It's open source, correct?

2143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀[ANN][PoSToken]First PoS Smart Contract Token[Lending Platform Luanched] on: December 29, 2017, 01:21:07 AM
So, I sent out about 5 to myself and only minted once.  Are we going to get those mints in the future for what we spent?
He was probably lucky to send these transactions with that fee under 1 gwei or have done that before the whole "overloaded" period of ETH network.

Sure, but that doesn't answer my question.  Is this minting like a random chance based thing?

Minting is just away to receive your due interests. Interest rate for first year is 100%. Meaning if you had 365 PoS you are due exactly 1 PoS per day. After few days you execute mint and receive them in a wallet. Always send 0 PoS to yourself when minting.

So, minting should better be called invoicing?  You need to collect your interest rate manually, it's not delivered to you.  It's like you need to send the blockchain an invoice to get your interest rate of 100% a year.

My post about how to promote 808 coin and altcoins is up. http://junsonchan.com/2017/12/26/how-to-promote-and-market-your-altcoin-crypto-currency-like-808-coin-to-the-hyip-community/

I've noticed that nobody is really promoting this coin and not letting anyone know about this.

There is at least $2 billion dollars stolen every year on the Hyip market. We can redirect a lot of that into 808 coin EVERY YEAR.

These are free ways of advertising.  Some HYIP advertise through them, so I have an anti-HYIP post on one of the sites:

I see we're being delisted from cryptopia
any idea why?
to low volume?

had a problem with COMP wallet again these days
assertion failed
just deleted blockchain and downloaded again and now it's fine...

It doesn't matter in a few months if the price goes down.  Prices climb back up again.  Everyone has to just price their sell orders a little higher so it's harder for people to crash the price, and remember to buy and sell in DOGE and LTC.   Keep working on getting it on more exchanges.
2146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: CHESSCOIN - 32% POS - COIN FOR CHESS COMMUNITY on: December 28, 2017, 05:24:09 AM
Coin stakes great.  I don't even have more than about 10,000.   Anyone notice that there are some small stakes, do you add them together by sending to yourself?   I did that one time with growthcoin and it took a few days to mature again and didn't seem to make much difference in the size of the stake.

2150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How do you use a peerlist for staking coins? on: December 27, 2017, 04:24:46 PM
I have added nodes to .conf files but never updated using the information I just received.  This is for the Bitcointalk (TALK) coin, which is one of about 8 low entry coins, awesome percentage of staking, but not too high that it crashes the price.  My other list is Truckcoin, RAIN, Version, Growthcoin, Chesscoin, Bottlecaps (exchange account being repaired presently), Compound, 1337 and HealthyWorm.  Some of these you stake for DOGE or LTC, like 1337 and Compound.

Here is the information for the peerslist:

i see that the value is growing again, great potentials to reach 1000 satoshi or more another time, i hope the new roadmap will make rain great again

Yeah its nice to see RAIN start rising in price again. Its been a nice week for Alts with many getting mini pumps, I hope RAIN can return to 1k sats and that we start seeing some real developments in 2018 which could really give RAIN the boost it needs.

Imagine if each of us trained three people to stake with RAIN?  That would probably drive the price up beyond 1K sat.

I stake POS in MEW, but suddenly my balance dropped from 157 to 145 POS.
Why is that and how it is possible?

Good question.   To the above poster who complained that we are talking about staking too much.  If you read the posts, they weren't about how to stake, they were about staking rewards after first staking rewards were earned.  There is "difficulty" type problems in staking.....if someone buys a ton of coins, they are going to outweigh you and reduce your staking rewards.  It's similar to a lot of hash coming into a pool and you not increasing your hash power.

What I'm thinking is that we won't get any more staking rewards at the airdrop level of 70 coins.   If we want to keep getting rewards, we will have to add to our pile.   I am OK with that but I would like to know how much more I will have to buy.  I've seen many staking coins go down to 1 Sat and below that had tons of support and people talking about how great they were.

If I have to buy .01 BTC worth of POSTokens and still not getting any staking rewards from it, that's a different story.  Usually in staking threads people discuss this kind of thing.  It seems people here don't understand the question or are avoiding giving any answers.

All I am asking is what balance of POSToken do you need to stake these days?

2156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [V] Version [V] | SHA-256 PoW + 60% PoS | Personal Storage Vault v2.2.0.0 on: December 25, 2017, 01:11:31 AM
Sorry not sure on block size.  I haven't had to pay attention to that and I'm getting nice rewards with a relatively small wallet.

About the speed: I also stake 808 and it was very fast to get to Cryptopia which is only requiring them to have 20 confirmations.

So, not sure why it wants 200 confirmations for Version.  Maybe it's because of the lack of mining on the coin?

Paramind22,
Any ideas for this coin? It's perfectly lined up to make some moves, but we need an active dev to get us over the hump and on the road to $1.

Hi, for some reason I did not see this until today.  I think most people don't know about cryptocurrency still and how easy it is to earn BTC by a good coin like this.  We should try to do something where we can feature Version because it is truly one of maybe three this good and this cheap.

How about a post or article that talks about "Earning a passive income in crypto". That's what Version does. It allows people to earn a passive income with little investment.

I'll see what I can come up with after the holidays.  Anyone else feel free. It's just basic science/economics.  This one, Truckcoin, Chess and RAIN are still great low entry profitable coins.

I really don't like this "the rich get richer" mentality that I am starting to see at some exchanges.  Isn't crypto supposed to be an equal opportunity?  It makes a good opportunity for the smaller exchanges however, and it should be monitored.  I notice liqui has also high withdrawal fees and some of the Bittrex coins but maybe they will start to see lower fees as a business opportunity, to be more competitive.

These are the problems I'm having. They say they have a .001 minimum trade but when I put in that amount, as you can see from the screenshots, they are giving an error and not executing the trade.  Also, their withdrawal fees are HUGE.  It's funny how the increase in wealth is making people extremely greedy.  I have screenshots of them asking 4 XEM withdrawal fees on a 7.5 balance, or 11 HMQ on 17.5 balance.  I trade 80 or more coins and index them market as much as I can with a lot of microcap trading, and so they are pricing my style of investing out of the market.  Fees didn't use to be this huge.
