No i dont have a job, can't find one. Why won't anyone help?

First off, no one can truely know if you actually need the BTC for meds like you say. Second, they don't know if you are going to go buy something that is going to kill you, and then they would have partial liability. I'm sure if you are $4 from getting the meds, you can scrounge up $4. Also, if someone gave you $4 in BTC, how would you get it into cash? And why not just go to a free clinic, get diagnosed, and then get the meds that you "need" legally?

So many missing pieces of logic here.
2904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC-GLOBAL] Litecoin Silver Mutual Fund on: September 09, 2013, 01:14:56 AM
Alright, the 1st draft of new terms have been set, if anyone has the time and is interested, I'd appreciate any feedback you could give. The entire set of terms are listed here: https://www.litecoinglobal.com/security/LTC-SILVER

I'm also proof reading and spell checking, as I started going crosseyed writing all of that towards the end. I appreciate any questions that people may have, or any feedback they wish to give.
2905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC-GLOBAL] Litecoin Silver Mutual Fund on: September 08, 2013, 05:35:41 AM
Alright everybody, I do apologize for the length of time that has passed since my last updates, however the asset has mostly been laying dormant since the proposed transfer to Usagi. I will be providing tons of updates, as to the contract, operations, and just general what is going on at this point in this thread, so please bare with me, as I get more information ready.

I will be modifying the Original Post, so I will quote it in its entirety here, so that I and others will be able to look back on it, as I make changes.

The Official thread will be on the Litecointalk thread that I have listed, but I will try to keep both the BTC and LTCtalk posts up to date  http://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,616.0.html
https://i.imgur.com/w6Xrx.png

I also registered the domain www.litecoinsilver.com which I will be using as the Asset site, but I am still in the process of setting that up.

Anyway, below is the official Asset Statement, if you don't want to read it right now, you can scroll down to my next bolded message where I will give a briefer version.

My Goal is to increase the liquidity of Litecoins, by allowing the free and
simple trade between Litecoins and Physical Silver without all of the hassle and
added cost of continuous shipping.

OVERVIEW:

By investing in LTC-SILVER you are investing your Litecoins into Physical
Silver. Various forms of Silver Bullion will be obtained by the operator
(myself) ranging in brand, size, and form, but all silver is guaranteed to be at
least .999 Fine silver. The amount of shares in circulation at any time will
only reflect the amount of silver I have held physically in grams at any given
moment. One share is and will always be equal to one gram of physical silver.

WITHDRAW OPTION AND SHIPPING:

With the option to trade your silver shares back and forth for LTC, I will also
have a withdraw option, should you decide you want your shares of physical
silver mailed to you. To do this, please send me a message and I will give
further instruction. How this will work, is after you request your silver to be
mailed, I will ask that you transfer the share equivalent of how much you want
mailed back to the Asset Account. I will require that you pay the amount of
shares you want to receive in silver plus one additional share for handling. I
will also require that you pay the shipping expense, which we will calculate
upon request, but I should be able to give a generic rate for inside of the U.S
after a few shipments. Payment for shipping will be accepted in Silver Shares,
Litecoins, Bitcoins, BTC-E Code, and Paypal.
You will be responsible for the cost of all shipping features you desire, be it
insurance, or the use of another shipping company. (ie UPS or Fedex)

EDIT I will be cutting the no minimum withdraw from fund amount. People are hassling me to buy 1 gram pretty bars, but don't want to pay anything over spot for them, when in reality, they are going to cost me 300% of what I'm going to be selling them for. That just doesn't work well. So instead, I will be changing the minimum withdraw from fund amount to 1 Oz, and you may withdraw in any 1 Oz increments. This is still a fairly small amount, but it makes it so much more convenient for both parties. All policies regarding withdrawal and everything else will remain the same.

SHIPPING CONT.:

I will guarantee that all silver withdraws requested will ship out on my end,
and I will provide tracking via USPS at no additional cost, with paid cost of
shipping. However, although rare, the postal service can lose your packages. I
am not liable for post office mistakes, and it is your responsibility to request
appropriate insurance if you feel necessary. It is also your responsibility to
check all of your country's laws about silver importation. I will be shipping
from the U.S, so please look into local laws, and be prepared to pay any
applicable taxes or fees imposed by your country at customs should they decide fit.

THE (not so small print):

If for any reason I am unable to continue my obligations here, I reserve the
right to shut down operation. In that case, the first option available will be
to receive your Physical Silver via the mail. The above shipping terms still
apply, but the 1 share handling fee will be waived in this case. For those that
do not want to receive their Physical Silver, I will liquidate the remaining
silver on the LTC/BTC forums and pay out your share value at current Silver
market value.

All of that being said, just remember, your stock value does not have some
arbitrary value determined by LTC difficulty, how lucky you are to find blocks,
or how long you can profit from a ponzi before it collapses. Your investment is
100% backed by Silver. In theory, your stock value should never be worth less
than its weight in Silver. Of course, silver has its own price fluctuation up
and down, but it is your duty to make your own informed decision as to whether
or not this is an investment that suits your needs. I recommend you do some
research into Silver economics, look at the price trends, and decide for
yourself whether Silver is the best choice for you right now.

Condensed version it is  Grin

Ok, so the asset that I have just submitted for approval via https://www.litecoinglobal.com/ is LTC-SILVER

This is a silver mutual fund, operated and managed by myself, in which anyone who wishes to invest may buy shares in a Silver fund that I will be establishing, with each share being worth 1 Physical gram of silver. I will buy .999 Silver bullion, mostly coming from the BTC/LTC forums, and will first take pictures to prove the total asset amount, and will then release an equal amount of shares to how many total grams of silver are in the fund. The silver will then be placed in a very large and secure gun vault, and locked away until updates are needed. I have already talked to a few members of the Bitcoin and Litecoin communities that have been known to sell a bit of silver, and I am currently in the process of buying up a few troy ounces of silver to get this investment started! Another feature that this investment has, is the choice to physically withdraw from the Silver asset. In this case, I will send you your physical silver in the mail, of course I will require that you pay shipping, and there is a small fee, but that is listed in the shipping terms above. The best part being, since there will never be more or less shares owned and on the market than I currently have in the vault, everyone could withdraw at once if they really wanted, and no one would have to wait, and there would be no ponzi collapse. Although, I will mention, your best deal is to just own the silver shares, and not have them physically shipped. The whole idea of this asset is to give a liquid Silver:LTC asset, where you don't have to deal with your own country's taxes (VAT to be specific) and you don't have to deal with the shipping cost.

Anyway, if anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
the LTC-SILVER Asset has just been given the most coveted award known to Crypto kind! It is Franky1 Approved!!! For any of you that don't know, franky1 is the Crypto user with the most suspicions about any any business or asset, whether it be someone selling cars for BTC, or someone selling American Candies in the UK, they are all scams in Franky's book. Well, LTC-SILVER is the first asset/business to receive the thumbs up from Franky1 himself!!! YAY

2906  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STAFF member xDeathwing is a SCAMMER! on: September 08, 2013, 03:36:13 AM
Then plz try looking it up, or just tell xDeathwing to pay it! (or he should get a scammer tag)

Well, XDeathwing has essentially said they did have .50BTC in their original post and do intend to pay it, as soon as they get coins. Now its just a matter of XDeathwing stepping up, figuring out a reasonable repayment date, and making ammends for the mistake. People make mistakes, its how they handle them that is important.

There is no edit history. I can sometimes use database backups to get the original post, but backups are done only daily, and this is a big hassle.

Hmm, didn't know that.
2907  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do people sell Bitcoins on eBay? on: September 08, 2013, 03:20:00 AM
At a very high markup to try and cover the BTC they lose due to scammers.
2908  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan to a startup business ->>> high risk :: 36% annual interest rate on: September 08, 2013, 12:46:14 AM
Also, what would the biometric precautions do? I'm assuming you would go the way of fingerprints, because this isn't a James Bond movie. Is the plan to store finger prints to ID users who frequent the ATM? Because the majority of people don't have their fingerprints recorded, despite what CSI leads many people to believe.

To be frank, I'm not overly interested in investing, although I may if there was a lot of progress, however if you could explain your identification process, I'm sure others are wondering as well.
2909  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STAFF member xDeathwing is a SCAMMER! on: September 07, 2013, 05:26:16 PM
You made an offer to pay sitnicki 0.5 btc if he made a video and virus scan. sitnicki delivered before you modified your offer. You made no indication in the offer that it was a joke. That's breach of contract and would make you a scammer.

Agreed, whether it was supposed to be a joke or not, you made the mistake of not writing something obvious saying it was a joke, (just kidding, etc). You've gotta pay up on it, or the scammer claim is valid.

Edit: I said i'll pay tomorrow i do want to pay, a friend was going to send coins he owe me but he didn't and i was out of coins. (Well, still out of coins.)

You should probably contact sitnicki and tell them that you are waiting on coins from a friend, and give them a reasonable payback date.
2910  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STAFF member xDeathwing is a SCAMMER! on: September 07, 2013, 04:53:36 AM
I am very actually surprised that a staff member would scam over 0.05 (or 0.5 BTC). I previously believed there was some sort of background check before hiring a new staff member.

The post where he promised to send 0.05 BTC, as well as the "i will send it tomorrow" are more than enough proof that he should be labeled as a scammer.

There isn't a formal process, but of course, if you have had past issues, your chances of becoming staff are slim. Also, my sentiments exactly, which in the face of uncertainty, leads me to believe this is probably a misunderstanding. If a staff member wanted to pull a scam, I'm sure they could do better than not following through on a .50 or .05 BTC promise. Which is why I'm having a hard time believing that XDeathwing intentionally scammed anyone out of $6 or $60. Either way, their reputation is worth more than that.
2911  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Is this a genuine Item on: September 07, 2013, 01:51:31 AM
It may be a genuine pre order, however the price is at a too good to be true amount, I would be high skeptical, and reluctant to buy it. More likely than not, its a scam. However, as a buyer on Ebay, it may be worth the risk, knowing that you can chargeback if need be.

Edit* Just checked the KNC Store, and they would have had to pay 3,800 Euros for that preorder. For 400 Euros, I'd say theres a 99% chance its a scam.
2912  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2 Physical Bitcoin Wallets - Virus In Numeris 1BTC 2012 on: September 07, 2013, 01:48:36 AM
Interested, and subbing said interest. You have the auction end date as the 8th of Sept (Sunday) What time on the 8th, and in what time zone?
2913  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STAFF member xDeathwing is a SCAMMER! on: September 07, 2013, 01:43:03 AM
Cause he is very young account time and being staff without proving themselves can be used to scam just like in this case. People could think he is validated as a good member cause of the staff tag.

Well, assuming XDeathwing is guilty of owing the .50 BTC, it was essentially a bounty. Its not often that people put bounties into escrow or anything, so had XDeathwing not been staff, it would be the same situation, someone who reneged on a bounty.

As for how long XDeathwing was a member, they are a local mod on the Turkish Board. If they speak Turkish and reported a lot of posts accurately they could have got the position. However, you are right the staff tag does give a bit of credibility just because of the title, the same way that hero member used to. But I don't think going back on your promise about a bounty is something that people do intentionally if they have something to lose, so I'll be watching for progress when XDeathwing logs on.
2914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if ASIC on Scrypt chain? on: September 07, 2013, 01:10:51 AM
It would make much more economic sense though, to keep the SHA ASICs a secret, and mine, rather than 51% attack. By keeping it a secret, they could mine ludacris amounts of valuable Scrypt coins, and make a killing on the market. However, it would be difficult to gather the funding to produce Scrypt ASICs unnoticed.
2915  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STAFF member xDeathwing is a SCAMMER! on: September 07, 2013, 01:04:30 AM
Yes... Has anyone actually pm'ed Theymos about this?

Yes, I pmed Theymos and XDeathwing about this thread as soon I saw it.

But that's circumstantial evidence. It doesn't directly prove that xDeathwing's post said 0.5 BTC.

Yeah, it will be best when there are both sides of the story. XDeathwing could have said .5BTC, edited it shortly after, and then made another edit later, etc. The point is, we wont know what the edit was about until XDeathwing, or Theymos confirms it.
2916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY are there so many COINs? on: September 07, 2013, 01:02:41 AM
Because this is new technology in it's exponential development!  Grin

This. Everyone is trying to make the next big coin, so they can strike it rich. However, what it is actually doing is creating a lot of innovation (and a lot of spam). The coins that are bad will die, and hopefully new coins will take the best aspects of the ones that fail to make a very neat coin.
2917  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STAFF member xDeathwing is a SCAMMER! on: September 07, 2013, 12:48:49 AM
Yep... Like everyone said, just email Theymos and ask for a SCREENSHOT of the edits, because Theymos might try to get XDeathWing out of it. IDK, but im just saying...

I highly doubt that Theymos would bail out any Staff member. Why would you trust a confirmed scammer with taking care of your forums? If anything, he would hurry the process along. Again however, we are jumping the gun a little. Its hardly a scam accusation until the accused as a chance to reply.
2918  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STAFF member xDeathwing is a SCAMMER! on: September 07, 2013, 12:30:11 AM
Has anyone talked to Theymos about it? He could check what the message was pre edit. For 0.5BTC, I'd hope it is a mistake rather than a scam.

Here is the thing. If it was a mistake, he would edit as soon as he posted it, BUT NO. He changed it AFTER the OP posted the video.... Seems like a scam to me...

I agree, it doesn't look good at this point, however they could have edited that post 20 times, the first time 5 seconds after they posted to correct the amount, and then again to clarify wording etc etc. I'm hoping when xDeathwing gets on, they either pay the debt if they are in the wrong, or clarifies if it was a mistake.

My rationale is that .5 BTC hopefully isn't enough for a Staff member to scam over, and it could be a mistake, however I could be wrong.  Embarrassed

Neither Theymos or XDeathwing are on at the moment, so I wouldn't expect any quick response.
2919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I accidentally the transaction fee, what do? on: September 07, 2013, 12:21:28 AM
How to send without paying transaction fees?

Well, in Setting > Options > Main on the BTC QT wallet, you can adjust what fee you wish to pay for transactions, however I believe the reccomended fee is still .001 or .0005 BTC. If you set it to no fee, you are likely to have to wait a long time for sent coins to be recieved.
