Or is that figure the addresses it is currently attempting to sync I always thought it was the number of transactions, but I don't know why I came to that assumption. It is most definitely an assumption, having nothing on which to base the idea.

I'll take number 41, please and thank you.

I'm assuming you have you tried the keyboard command CTRL+C to copy? If you have a wireless keyboard and mouse, and the receiver is plugged into a USB hub sometimes the mouse will do funny things depending on what else is running on your system or what other USB devices are plugged into the same hub.
It might help to make sure the keyboard and mouse receiver is plugged directly to the computer in it's own USB port.
PS: Did you say you bought a wallet? Can I ask why?

My TDS makes me think Trump says whatever he thinks will make him look good (or his opponents look bad) with very little regard for the truth. Even at White House Press briefings during a national crisis.
Yeah, I felt the same way whenever Obama talked about Benghazi, Fast and Furious, Affordable (snicker) Care Act... The only difference, Trump isn't responsible for creating Covid-19. if fast and furious went down today under trump every single trump supporter including you would love it and praise him all day and night for being so tough on illegal mexicans. it wouldnt matter how many guns they lost. anyone that criticized it would be accused of supporting the mexican cartel or having tds I can't tell if this is scary dumb, or funny dumb. Let me educate you about something, son. Fast and Furious wasn't about "illegal Mexicans," since when has a Democrat cared to do anything about that? Fast and Furious was about illegal guns, and I'm sure it's supporters were expecting to obtain a lot of evidence to support their anti-second amendment biases. No conservative would have endorsed such bullshit. And, can you imagine the outrage that would have ensue if Trump had given firearms to known drug cartels, which then lead to one of those guns being used to kill a DEA agent? But to Obummer supporters, you don't care about the death of Americans directly caused by Democrats' ineptitude, arrogance, and pure spite for the constitution. No, you only care when the lives Americans can't be saved by a Republican. Then you'll be outraged... So to you, dupeddonk, read and learn before saying anything so fucking stupid again.

How to store your seed phrase: The question is about 1BTC No need to oversecure it. Saving on cloud drive also could be fine, however just encrypt the data before uploading it there. And make the offline bacup also. Short example of ecnryption with online tool https://encode-decode.com/aes256-encrypt-online/Encryption secret (the one used to encrypt): BlackHatCoiner Then store the message on cloud drive in this format: l/e5nTbRjziT5lTT+VSJ9RQecY01EM7+vbUinVywjdLsnQmaayK5Krq2WP51PXa9kQauKfPUKffr/cv3/9ivL99m9wXESq99OS/KqI45du6LbuvLhDF9y1ZnMyzUJsX1eZoGTfkDlgh8X/KOLzjeNg== For encryption/decryption other cipthers/tools could be used of course. EDIT: added code tag for the encrypted string

EDIT: added code tag for the encrypted string I'm sorry, MrFreeDragon, I don't mean to put you on the spot, but this is absolutely the most ludicrous advice one can give. You're telling people to enter their seed phrase into a web form? Allow a third party to encrypt it? Then store it on another third party's server? That's the worst of bad practices all bundled up in one post.

Hello. I just hope this is possible.
I have a total balance of $78,500 at Paycoinly. I don't want to sell the funds now cos I want to take advantage of their custom coin that would be launched by August. If I sell it now I might not be able to get that same value for the same amount. I was lucky to buy each dollar at $0.70 during the startup launch and now I can confidently sell for $1 or even $1.03 depending on the payment system.
What I need the funds for: I just want to store Bitcoin. I believe it would get to $15k in the next few weeks based on some analysis
Paycoinly funds can be converted to cash easily via their peer to peer funding and withdrawal system and it works just like, Perfect Money
Loan Amount: $50k Payment method: Bitcoin Duration: 2 Months Collateral: Paycoinly funds Collateral Amount: $78,500 Escrow Platform: Bitrated or Escrow.com Repayment Percentage: Negotiable.
Thanks. So, you think bitcoin is going to pump, and you want to use an unknown shit stable coin as collateral? Why don't you just short your stablecoin? Furthermore; Paycoinly's website was just created last August, what compelled you to invest $79k USD in an unknown venture? Maybe I'm being overly suspicious, but I don't think you really expect to get a loan. I think you're shilling for this shitcoin.

How exactly can a hacker bypass 2 hash algorithms with passwords like "asdojiio89wd89A89S98yasbk2ejk"? And why to do it on a rar called "college.rar"
I'm not saying it would be easy to hack google or break your encryption, I'm just saying it adds risk. Why add risk when you can avoid it? Cryptocurrency is all about being in control of your funds, and not relying on anyone else for the security of those funds. That can be good and bad, because the security of those funds is all determined by your actions.
|
|
|
I'm thinking on uploading my rar on some google drives and mega accounts. Can't be lost then. And if course save it on hardware too.
I use redundant backups, multiple encrypted digital backups as well as paper backups, but I would never store my seed phrase on a cloud drive. Google isn't likely to flounder and go out of business, but they are very likely to get hacked. If they do get hacked, it may be weeks, months, or even years before they are aware of, and disclose the hack. In such a case you have to rely on the veracity of your encryption to protect your funds. I think it's safest to just take that risk out of the equation. I'm a firm believer in physical backups on paper, it's really the safest way to store your seed. I store my paper backups in a fire-resistant document bag, which in turn is in fire-resistant safe. Fire resistant document bags and small document safes can be found for affordable prices.

So all of these green addresses are owned by me? What are these yellow "change" addresses? Electrum is a hierarchical deterministic wallet. In layman's terms that means that your seed phrase is a backup for many addresses and private keys. As you use one address, the software automatically picks the next one in line to use as your next receiving address. Like others have said, the addresses highlighted in yellow are addresses the software uses to receive change from other inputs that you partially spend. They are real addresses in every sense, and you can even use them to receive coins. The only difference is that the software has set them aside for use as "change addresses." Click on the blue arrows in the bottom-right corner, select 'Server' tab, untick 'Select server automatically' and connect to a random server by right-clicking and selecting 'Use as server'. Give it a few seconds to synchronize.
Hmm....I never tried that, and I've had the same problem OP described many times. Every time the synchronization stalls out, I just close the wallet and restart it and that usually does the trick. By restarting the software you're essentially doing the same thing, i.e. selecting a new server for your connection. Electrum will automatically connect to whatever server responds the quickest when you first start it up, but sometimes that server is having issues.

Do you know of a cure for TDS? I want to see our president act competent. I'd rather have a president be competent than act competent. Trump has accomplished much more than people expected him to, while others before him talked a great game but didn't do shit. Again, you may not like what he's accomplished, but other Americans do. Are those Americans not entitled to a president who values their agenda?
Can you help me sort the TDS from reality on something?
I remember seeing Trump say nice things about China and how they're handling the virus before it got bad, but now I seem him saying it's all Chinas fault for ruining the perfect economy he built and he's going to send them a bill.
Which one is the TDS? Or is he even talking about China at all? One can say nice things about their adversary, and still be tough. I think Patrick Mahomes is a very good quarterback, but I was still rooting for Nick Bosa to break his legs last February. See what I did there? I said nice things about a guy I wanted to lose. Trump's job is doing the best job he can for Americans. Part of that is undoing all the policies that allowed China to rob us blind in the first place. That's not China's fault, it's ours.
https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1225728755248828416Just had a long and very good conversation by phone with President Xi of China. He is strong, sharp and powerfully focused on leading the counterattack on the Coronavirus. He feels they are doing very well, even building hospitals in a matter of only days. Nothing is easy, but he will be successful, especially as the weather starts to warm & the virus hopefully becomes weaker, and then gone. Great discipline is taking place in China, as President Xi strongly leads what will be a very successful operation. We are working closely with China to help! this tweet actually say: China has been working very hard to contain the Coronavirus. The United States greatly appreciates their efforts and transparency. It will all work out well. In particular, on behalf of the American People, I want to thank President Xi! Okay, so he didn't know what he didn't know, and now he knows more than he knew back then. And... Remember when Obama said something derogatory about Israel's treatment of Palestinians, then backed off when he realized that talking that way would threaten donations to his party? I'm sure some other explanation was given for his words, because we all know that Obama always stayed on script. He sure did act competent, didn't he?

Quotes and citations needed. No selective editing, omissions, opinion pieces, Snopes, or paraphrasing please.
None of that would matter. Any quotes or citations will be mislabeled, misconstrued, and misinterpreted, possibly on purpose. Trump Derangement Syndrome is a single-minded rage that obscures rational evaluation of Trump's actions, and focuses on the negative. It forces those who suffer from it to go above and beyond the exaggerations of his comments, so far as to fabricate meaning that bolsters their bias. It is specifically a bias towards bias. One would think that with a pandemic gripping the world, Americans could put aside partisan bickering and see that the President has done a good job. He's certainly not perfect, but who among us is?

Is it merely a coincidence that TMAN and Kim Jong Un disappear at the exact same time? It also seems odd they've never been seen in the same room together.

Again the common scenario of Naober or Walmart34 here? It seems all of the newbies here are scammed by this cheater kidding. I don't understand why people are dealing with a lower rank member without using any escrows. Only escrow can give a solution when you will make a deal with lower rank members. so use escrow be safe. Is bitify.com secure? Where can I get detailed information about Escrow? I've never used bitify, but there are plenty of trusted members here on the forum that will provide escrow services. Here's a list of some of the most experienced and trusted ones: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2439910.msg24991775#msg24991775

Hello. I have a problem. I can send money from the electrum wallet, but if I take the "private key" and want to import it on blockchain.info it showed me that the key is empty. How to solve the problem?
If you used Electrum to create a wallet with a seed phrase (hierarchical deterministic) you will have many private keys. Are you sure you chose the right private key to import into Blockchain.com? In your electrum wallet, click on "View" and then click on "Show Coins." You'll see a list of your unspent inputs. You can then right lick on the address containing the key and find the private key for that address. If you have funds in that address, importing the private key into Blockchain.com's wallet. Just a question; why do you want to move your funds to an online wallet?

I don't know why, but I love it that you guys are gambling on the NFL draft. I had no idea that there were gambling markets for this stuff, but now that I think about, why wouldn't there be, lol?
Purely from the perspective of a fan, I think the Vikings might have won the draft this year. They made some great moves, adding a much needed weapon to add to Cousin's arsenal, and a quick Corner Back to bolster their pass defense.
I was a bit disappointed with the Niner's draft order in the first round, I would have liked to see them take one of the top receive prospects instead of a DT, and wait until later in the draft to work on the Defense. I only say that because our defense was pretty stout last year, but we could have used more targets for Garoppolo. I'm not surprised by Lynch's decisions, the Niners have a long history of approaching the draft conservatively. And with Staley announcing his retirement (I'm gonna miss him) the decision to trade a couple of picks for Trent Williams makes a lot of sense.
Like any draft, it's going to be a couple of years before we can truly evaluate the decisions made this year.
How about the Bengals taking Joe Burrow? Not surprising, considering their needs, and I have high hopes for Burrow's career. Is he the nest Joe Montana?
For those of you who took some gambles on the results, I hope you came out ahead.
