2941  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of cryptos increase in future? on: March 28, 2018, 08:05:31 AM

If china is going to allow crypto ICO again as they were just banning it to allow time for regulations the prices of crypto will rise up again and will beat the last peak. ICOs in the futures are going to be regulated and dare we say KYC is very much needed. A lot of us may back away but for investors who are going to make sure they know who they invest their money to, its a good thing. Generally KYC is a good thing.
2942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: March 27, 2018, 03:57:52 AM
Cryptocurrency (bitcoin and altcoin) is a remarkable technological achievement. Some altcoin that can compete in the market will have a good future, which can not compete will end. The popularity of Ethereum, Ripple, and Litecoin will increase in market. Demand for other digital currencies will also increase.

Not just some altcoin will survive. The teams are becoming very good at developing utility tokens, the newer coins will have more future. They will not be developing these tokens and coins if they don't have plans to at least compete the market. If they build it for new comers in crypto it will be known to new comers and even to updated guys.
2943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite ICO at the moment? on: March 26, 2018, 12:42:38 PM
Favorite?  Grin

The firs time I participated in ICO was of WAVES. I joined a bounty campaign which pays BTC every week and it goes into the WAVES ICO dashboard every time I got paid. Send every week as I see my tokens decreases every day.

I would suggest you take a look at DIWtoken (https://www.diwtoken.com/)
They are offering a secure way to store sensitive data such as wills, login credentials, financial related details, identification documents, KYC & KYS documentation and many more.
All this will be available through their secure vault that keeps all your data highly encrypted and available to you at any time.
Check the whitepaper for more of the details.

Why did you find that project to have good potential when its going collecting data from investors?
2944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are you running any masternodes? on: March 26, 2018, 12:36:54 PM
All in all I run about 20 masternodes for ~15 various altcoins.Bought/mined them all at the very start when returns were max (and ROI min.), months later they still give about 75-200% per annum.

Can you give us some information about which coins are they?

There are several that I'm interested too, I'm currently thinking of getting into with Bubbletone UMT token which right now is having an ICO that will end this April. They only require minimum of 1000 UMT to operate but then I could have to consider the earnings before jumping into it.
2945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential coins on: March 25, 2018, 04:32:16 PM
What are your top 5 or even top 10 list of cheap and potential coins to share and why. I want to choose according to technology, usability and community. WHile the market is bleeding, I guess this is the best time to take action and get some of the coins while cheap.

XVG should be in the top of the list. SCS at the second with many use case as of information found on their website and community. Doge at third, maybe you are thinking why this one? It has a long-term potential use. If you are seeking this information to invest in coins, I suggest you dig more into XVG and SCS.

XVG is cheap for now. I don't know why this would have higher price later but then I guess most of the coins that can be mined are going up eventually. The only coin I can surely say will rise among are ETH,NEO, LTC, EOS andXMR. They are already on top actually so they will continue to go up whether we like it or not. There are several that you should consider like ETC, WAVES, Lisk and Stratis.
2946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap manipulates the market? (Not FUD) on: March 25, 2018, 02:55:36 PM

The problem is that, its their website and we could do nothing about it if they don't update info.  Of course they can reason they are busy doing something else.  There are several alternative to look at though like this one here https://coincap.io Not all people checks the CMC, I have been monitoring projects for years, I don't rely much to that site but its better to just go into your fav exchange where the coin you want to trade is listed.
2947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best masternode to invest ? on: March 25, 2018, 11:23:09 AM
Bubbletone is allowing investors with just about 1k token to operate a mini node so you can already earn with the little you have. But if you can afford to have more than that like supernodes, you can earn more with it. Bubbletone is currently on ICO so you will have the time to set up along with the rest of the investors trying to have supernodes. 1M UMT tokens is required for the supernodes.
2948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long should one have to wait to sell on: March 24, 2018, 03:05:27 PM
Sell when the need for cash comes. But until its not that much necessary, hold.

I'm intraday trader so I often close my position maximum in a day.

Does it work in crypto? That term I suppose is only in Forex where pips or a decimal movement of price can make you profit huge. That doesn't work here in crypto. Its more of a waiting game here. Unless you can miraculously do that on your own. Moving coins already have a high fees involve, its killing the traders already.

2949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google and Alibaba join the blockchain party on: March 24, 2018, 12:28:25 PM
"Google is planning to create its own blockchain and offer cloud and transactional services through it."

Source - https://www.ccn.com/google-will-create-its-own-blockchain-in-the-future/

Regardless if you like google or not, I think this is amazing news. Blockchain is truly the future and I can't wait to see its future adaptations and uses.

But I think this will certainly kill a lot of platforms and coins. Thoughts?

Its a good indication that blockchain is going to be used by a huge company. Do you think they will do an ICO for it and advertise on their adword system?  Grin

when trusted company create their own blockchain it will certainly succeed. this just the beginning soon many more company will follow.

Most probably, they do have money for themselves. But doesn't mean some projects will forget how bullshit they are that they disallow ICO ads and yet they themselves have plans to develop something out of blockchain technology.
2950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most "Bitcoin" thing you've done? on: March 24, 2018, 10:36:55 AM
I was wearing a Tshirt printed with BTC logo on it in a store that accepts btc in our area and two kids attempt to talk to me whether I'm buying using BTC, then I said yes. They than asked if they can buy BTC from me. I said sure and so I did send extra to them worth $50. I don't know where they posted the selfie we did but sure the BTC made them happy.
2951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CBT] CommerceBlock Decentralised Financial Infrastructure on: March 24, 2018, 10:34:24 AM
I don't understand why coinmarketcap still hasn't added this awesome project? I saw a lot of requests previously, all vainly.

We would love to be on CoinMarketCap.  Please ask them...

Don't you think you should initiate all these as you are the ones going to provide the information to them, all they are going to do is update the coinmarketcap. I think they'd listed you in matter of days because there is much volume of this coin in OKex.  The listing in CMC will give you more exposure to people willing to invest on projects like this one.
2952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elastos (Decentralized Operating System) with the NEO ecosystem on: March 24, 2018, 08:26:02 AM
Price is already $38 and can only be bought in USD, that's not good. Those who isn't going to engage using wire transfer or paypal are going to be deprived as investor for this project. What sort of arrangement do they have with Houbi exchange?

I hope they can at least try to pair it with NEO after all they are with NEO because this will at least give us the chance to buy ELA.
2953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No listed on coinmarketcap on: March 24, 2018, 07:37:13 AM

There is a currency that I also wanted to invest into like Reality Clash Coin but its only listed on etherdelta exchange which I am not comfortable visiting because of the need for private key. Its also not listed on coinmarketcap but they are carefully developing the project. They even had released an app already on google play but this isn't listed yet on bigger exchange.  If they were listed I think the 100K exchange volume could be achieved which was the requirement of coinmarketcap nowadays.
2954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📌 [ANN] 📢 [ICO] 💰 COINVEST 📈 DECENTRALIZED STOCK MARKET FOR CRYPTOCURRENCIES 📊 on: March 24, 2018, 06:58:18 AM
The project seems promising.
However, it is unclear what exactly is your decentralized exchange is different from the rest?
In any case, I wish good luck to the creators and developers

You might want to check their Comparison on their website which they claim to have all these.

Accept Fiat Currency
No Third-Party or Human Interaction
No KYC / AML Verification
Cryptocurrency Storage
Short Selling
Limit Orders
Index Funds
Personally Curated Index Funds
Full Autonomy
Decentralized
Non-Custodial
Options, Margin, and Futures Trading
Debit Card Account

These are great features but quite a lot which I think may really take long period of time. I don't see any roadmap that it will be accomplished this year too.  If they do have which I sure missed, then perhaps they can shed light because I do believe this will take maybe up to 2020.
2955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible for the cryptomarket to catch up? on: March 24, 2018, 01:07:32 AM
Atleast January 9th this year, my crypto investment was $50,000. I checked it today and it has dropped low to $9860.
I am very sad.
Please is there any chance the market will recover and i will get my $50,000 back?

Must be frustrating to see how much had been lost from your investment. Its not going to even make your mind even if we tell you to hold on because the market is going to be back soon. Believe I have seen all these happen every time the market goes up sure it may not relieve you now but you might wanna forget this nightmare first and be back after months or years.
2956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Cryptocurrencies? on: March 22, 2018, 01:35:07 PM
It occur to me lately that to be able to keep my coins with me is to have an alternative source of income and not just the btc I got so I'm planing to buy townhouses and use Airbnb for it to earn. Currently I have one house that I have bought last year and earning few only each month, its not enough to make a living but I guess will be able to buy another soon to double the earnings as quick as possible and that I won't have tp spend my btc again for daily needs.
2957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what makes you trust a new altcoin? on: March 22, 2018, 11:10:19 AM
One coin that most of us trust sure is BTC but there are some that myself had invested like MNX, this is because of their parking system. I trust the system so much that it proved to be working which is why the growth of this coin is astonishingly good. I do think most of those who invest are parking the coin and keep buying at every dip of the price.
2958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible that ethereum will be in rank #1? on: March 22, 2018, 09:23:00 AM

Its possible. Its just like USD that its always the counter currency like EUR/USD.  BTC is always the counter currency but if later in fact today we can see ETH being the counter currency of some pair.  If ETH will become popular than BTC it can be on top and if one day ETH will be valuable than BTC, it can happen but right not I don't think it can beat BTC price.
2959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: We are all fu***ed on: March 21, 2018, 02:11:52 PM

Those who cash out at the right time are taking profit, taking the money of those who invested at ATH. Those who sold while they are losing are probably not going and will curse crypto for the rest of their lives and that will give them no opportunity to gain anymore. I think the price today may stick for quite awhile so if they plan to buy back, they should start buying by now.
2960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the collateral behind Bitcoin? on: March 21, 2018, 06:05:40 AM
Its merely being used to store value base on the market. someone wants to buy 1 bitcoin for a dollar each and some will buy 1 bitcoin for 2$ and this is how its price was set base on the exchanges and the people buying and selling bids. No collateral. It all depend to how much a buyer is wiling to pay and a seller wants to profit.
