2002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cocos-BCX Private Event at NASDAQ Marketsite during Consensus Week on: June 30, 2019, 12:49:43 PM
Is your token listed on coinmarketcap?

I can not find what price of the token at the moment and at which exchange I can buy a token

Its said they'd be doing IEO yet, there is no date. IF they are this big, most probably they can just do a private sale but its worth seeing whether what they are talking is true. I'd like to believe there will be investors interested if they'd be doing IEO on a known platform.
2003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: any reason for this biggest drop? on: June 28, 2019, 01:41:20 PM
Today? The big dump was happened on yesterday. What if bitcoin get dump again after you bought it?

That is how it looks like. It felt like the reason for this big drop is because I bought a tiny bit of BTC from the pile of bids in the market. Does anyone ever also feel like they are the ones being watched by the exchange because the moment you bought back BTC, it also started dipping again?

2004  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitsane Pulls Exit Scam on: June 28, 2019, 12:59:44 PM
I don't remember seeing any users in the forum mentioned about what bitsane is going since june 17. And its only after 10 days that we see a thread like this. None of those from Ireland ever got here?

The ripple team promoted bitsane by listing it as where investors can buy XRP but now that Bitsane is gone rogue, none of the team can say a thing.  Grin
2005  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Anung plano mo pag bumaba/bumagsak ulit price ni bitcoin? on: June 27, 2019, 07:28:58 PM
Just as title says. Whats your plan incase unti-unting bumaba/bumagsak price ni bitcoin?
Pwede bang malaman kung ang ibig mong sabihin dito ay bumaba from its current price na $12K+?
Kung yun nga, maaring hold na muna since umaasa ako na lalampas ito ng $20K by 2020.

change to fiat na?

Old school ah.

2006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will there be an altseason this year? on: June 27, 2019, 07:14:48 PM

Almost all coins are red. We may never really see that going to happen ever unless there is someone out there stupid enough to pump up all the altcoins. I'm gonna sell the ones I have been keeping, I started with the BTT that I have been holding. I did try transferring my BTC to another exchange from binance, but they seem to have forbid withdrawing for risk management. I don't know how they see it but they did disallow withdrawing.
2007  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The BTC prices are being manipulated, what do the market makers have in mind? on: June 26, 2019, 08:26:43 PM

Seem very unusual to see the spike this sharp but I have to see the reason why. People are starting to feel the FOMO after the news about Facebook's libra. Its all manipulated as what it seem but this ain't just the work of the traders here but several people outside bitcointalk are trying to accumulate as much BTC in preparation. If it's going to be dumped soon, it will be put into the altcoins, check it because once BTC dips a bit, the marketcap doesn't change but the altcoins are rising.
2008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: What kind of promotions We should use ? on: June 26, 2019, 08:12:15 PM

If you're coin is already on the exchange, it wouldn't be hard to promote it. But then marketing a project is a constant job for a team to have success.

Once its added to an exchange, you can do a signature campaign in the forum and some social media campaigns. Bounty hunters are up for projects that aren't scam so marketing in the forum is like relying it to them.
2009  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin at 25000 possible? on: June 26, 2019, 07:31:41 PM
With growth rate today, I would have to say its very possible to reach up to $25k before the end of the year. I can't believe it breaks the resistance every time. More than 60% of dominance is with BTC which isn't quite healthy though. The cap should be redistributed to altcoins and it could happen before you have bought your fav altcoins.
2010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to fill bag with altcoin on: June 26, 2019, 07:16:11 PM
I'd like to think so, but nobody knows... it may be a little too early still. But it's not like anyone can time the market perfectly, so if anyone wanted to jump into the alt scene, it's possible it's not such a bad time right now.

Also depends a bit on what altcoins. I don't think we'll see a repeat of where 'everything' basically goes crazy. I'm also not expecting 10-15x across the board either. I think many coins in the top 100-150 should do okay, but outside of that, kind of a big risk.

Those altcoins which rockets up the last time I guess will do. Most of those are the top altcoins, the problem with altcoin traders is that we put much of our funds to BTC and we put little for altcoins. If you are like me then pick the cheapest as possible like the Verge, Cardano and Tron because by this, you have a stash to keep.

The bullrun today is not like the bullrun last 2017, it may just be the nearest to adoption and prices may not really drop close to zero even when bear comes.
2011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season is not here yet. on: June 26, 2019, 06:25:18 PM

They are selling for BTC but they'd be back for altcoins. Give it a time and altcoin holders will have their day. Once BTC price start to climb up higher, they will also see their are left behind in filling their bags with the altcoins. So you have time to buy for now form ETH and LTC and some utility tokens that are usually going up when it start.
2012  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Financial Literacy Campaign for Senior High on: June 25, 2019, 03:58:14 AM

2013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Central Bank of the Philippines] Virtual Currency Exchanges with BSP License on: June 25, 2019, 03:42:37 AM

Good to know my country already prepared for the changes for the future. I don't see many stores accepting BTC actually, its not very visible when you are outside even in Makati City where the Bitcoin ATM is located. Adoption seem too far in out country but they are approving a lot of these?

I don't see reason to have several exchanges except if its going to be used for laundering, corrupt individuals in the country are always up to find holes to make business.
Did you guys know we have Anti-Money Laundering Council in the Philippines but there ain't no one that we've heard being caught despite the thousands of drug lords here?
2014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the reason Amazon hasn't adopted Bitcoin? on: June 25, 2019, 03:20:12 AM

I guess the inflation is going to be one of the reason is that they only they want is profit from the sales and the fiat accepted by all. If I were them I would start accepting after all, BTC is just too huge to fail. It somehow starts to sound like a household name. If they are going to do this I guess they will have to conduct consensus to their sellers whether to accept or not. Probably seen it already that those sellers prefer the stable fiat.
2015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of bounty hunting is uncertainty on: June 24, 2019, 06:40:53 PM

If they were supported by the big exchange like binance, it should be good and perhaps marketing ain't so much needed. There are IEO in some exchange like LAtoken and Coinbene but the team were still doing bounty just to make sure its promoted before the trading starts. Marketing ain't bad, its about making it known to the public and the more people learn about the project the more will be interested.
2016  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Adab Solutions Haraam Exchange - Claiming to Be Religious But It Is A Scam on: June 24, 2019, 06:34:23 PM

Whatever their reason, 9 months of ICO is not what a normal project would do. Smart man knew they were scam from the start but just look the other way.  Bounty hunters promoted the project for a long time but end up not getting pain in the end. I know the feeling because I myself have been a scam to which I thought the team was very much capable. Only to discover they also left.
2017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: top industries influenced by blockchain on: June 21, 2019, 08:26:43 AM

Entertainment/Gambling isn't listed there. Among the first that had implemented blockchain are the casino sites, its alway been visible to everyone in the forum that gambling are the ones taking advantage of the technology after the finance. I also see Waste Management but I don't see projects related to it.
2018  Economy / Economics / Re: Another good news for cryptocurrency in the Philippines on: June 21, 2019, 08:02:36 AM

Be careful when buying properties in the Philippines, there unscrupulous brokers who sells a property that has been sold already to someone else and they do it multiple times particularly to those houses that isn't ready yet for occupation. They had been doing this since properties in the Philippines aren't put to escrow unlike in US where mortgage payment are being escrowed.
2019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Die Or Shine? Find The EOS Price Prediction 2019 on: June 20, 2019, 03:22:28 PM
EOS, this coin had become a prima donna. even I have participated in an EOS-based campaign, so I have to have an EOS Wallet. but now it seems that EOS is not in good shape. even if it must be said to be dead I don't dare to guess that now.

Price still looks good. Its not like tis worth just a $1. In the 2018, most of the altcoin prices including the EOS dumps, not a single coin escape from it. EOS has a strong team though and for few years, more developers were attracted to create their dapps on it. Most of them didn't even ask for funds. EOS will be great, $15+ by the end of the year.
2020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Members of US Congress already telling Facebook to halt libra on: June 20, 2019, 05:24:01 AM

Libra would be the first crypto that has a definite use case and will be known world wide, the downside is government will always try to control everything they can, a centralized and regulated crypto.

They said is because crypto isn't fully regulated yet and that I think facebook can understand.

Facebook wanna fuck the financial system?
The government will fuck facebook over and over but this will also lead them establish a clear regulation about crypto. This could be a reason to fud and so finally there is something to play to make prices swinging. Libra coin weren't yet created but the panic starts.
