Blame the bonuses as early participants of an ICO. I have participated in some ICO some that I were backed by several people who are in the cryptosphere for a long time and have gained reputation already. If you have gone on youtube and watch some people there who reviews ICO, you got to be checking why they said something good about an ICO that you haven't read in the forum. I don't have much ETH but it kept me alive after sending some to invest to a project like EOS. Who doesn't?

I have read that regulations and laws are being worked out for icos and crypto in most of the countries especially Australia and Europe is actively working on the regulatory framework, after they implement their regulatory framework for crypto i think many more countries will follow.
Parts of Asia like Singapore and I think Japan had its regulations already which the team has to register to their SEC. I don't know how it worked for them while other country can't work the same way. It will come later on in a year or so. Its working I guess because it will have lesser scam team too. Kind time of the day, with every day in ICO we meet more and more fraud. It is clear that no one forces us to invest in these projects. But the idea of a cryptocurrency does not imply any regulatory department. What do you think that could help in solving this problem? I just see only that the advisors were responsible, or they took a pledge from the projects they are entering.
No one can be blamed if we're get scammed by an ICO because the ICO itself is not forcing us to buy. The best thing that we can do to reduce scam is jump deeper to the project before we invested in. Exactly! Sometimes people are talking about ICO like they are forced to participate. But in fact what is forcing them is their greed alone and nothing else. If you are promised to have 10,000% profit in short period of time maybe you should know better than to dive in. It's a tricky thing actually because some ICOs have had even higher profits, but not in a short period of time, that's for sure. We'll there are just projects that are just promising good profit and somehow we believe because the team is just too good to portrait they are real. |

You're right there are so much to learn that we could link to blockchain. There are so much to prove how useful the technology is with the use of apps in our daily lives. It only needs connection to investors in making all these to reality which is also going to cost funds which again will lead us to check once again about money. Basically its what we need to put money to these projects, real estate projects are almost there too so we are working step by step here and sooner we'll get there.

Sooner these centralized exchanges might have to answer to the implementation of regulations from the government. Its a possibility. A lot of traders have bought at a price of $6000, when it goes high maybe $10k, they're not going to wait for it to go up a little more but taking profit is logical. Its the most thing that will happen as they'd think getting more before is too late. There are big players in the market that just joined, they will keep accumulating until they are not done, the price will keep swinging at a certain range.

Too optimistic. Its not going to reach up to $10K this year that's where the market goes if you think of how it will go because its unsure what will happen when ETF is approved next year. Its been moved over and over. The slow growth of BTC right now is a positive sign but is going to be different from last year, this growth is safer than last which is like the pump and dump scam. |

IF ETF is approved, it may not be decentralized anymore. Its not about trust, you do have trust in the first place because of blockchain being immutable. If you let government decide where things are going, then that is a sign of not being decentralized. The cryptocurrency sphere only needs the interoperobability for each chains to have a fair chance at a same level. IT doesn't need government regulations as it has stand even before the proposal.

There are just lots of bad timing these 2018 and the regulations and ETF combined which makes it hard for investors to come in and decide whether they'd go all in. The awaited adoption is about to come but whales are still accumulating a lot of tokens for themselves, they have to put more pressures to the geeks just hiding under their mom's house.

Yep, investors are no longer interested on crypto because of so many scam ICO's. And there's a lot of negative sentiments as well. And I would also surmise that they're getting smarter, they won't simply throw their money and take the risk because the market is really struggling specially in the second quarter of the year. We cannot really said when will be the end of this bearish market but one day we are going to see change of events and but will resume it bullish trend. People have more Hope on cryptocurrencies now than when we began and I can rate bitcoin as successful.
Exactly, we can't just remain bullish for a long time. Chances are, a full recovery can occur in 2019 if ETF's will be approved by SEC's. That's one news that can completely turn the market upside down. You can't be sure whether SEC and ETF will really trigger the bullrun, if I were one of the early investor to have thousands of bitcoin, I'm going to oppose the approval of it thinking how much I'd lost in the future when that happen. They may end up mixing to avoid getting tracked or move their investment to a privacy coin like XMR to get rid of it. Price will go up when no one thinks its going to go up |

Sadly, there are still users who doesn't know how to search. This tutorial is much of a spoon fed but its not followed by an individual who is in a hurry thinking the 20% bonus token as an early bird investor is worth. Somehow investing on tokens listed on exchange is a better option if you don't want to be scammed. You avoided KYC process from a scammer who also collect your data.

If you think mining can be profitable for you because your electricity is much cheaper than anywhere in the world or perhaps you live with your parents where they pay the bills, its good for you. I don't trust bots. When something AUTO is attached to a thing, its never really trusted. Trade manually, the experience of losing is worth it. So what? The Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange also have "High Frequency Trading" bots. Manipulation? They too have market manipulators.
Plus mind the fact that those exchanges are regulated, but they are as "bad" as the unregulated cryptocurrency exchanges.
Which proves this ETF and the monitoring of all these crypto exchanges is nothing but bullshit and we still end up as bad what they have come up years and years ago. I guess Satoshi is almost failing into making decentralized currency. I hope the decentralized exchanges still are going to work even with all the regulations implemented. |

BTC is too difficult to replace. Until there is no coin/token that has the security stronger than BTC, it will not be replaced. ETH had tried though. There is on token that is trying to set a better platform which EOS. I find potential to this one and so I hope there are more to good products for this tokens so we'll see where its heading soon. Its left behind, way behind but it could fly high too.

Not expecting a bull market or any recovery is like considering crypto market dead. I don't think that the market is anywhere near its end. Yes, this bear market got prolonged but bull phase is expected to come in following months. But if you still don't believe in that, it is better to exit .
Everyone who still have coins in their wallet thinks the market is going to get better soon. Year is about to end the hopefuls are going to be hopeful after all the market rises every year end. If it won't get better then 3 months is left for this bloody year, the next year may be better. BTC price I think is the very minimum, it might not go dip below $6 which I think restores the market condition. |

I hold because I simply believe in bitcoin, in crypto and in blockchain in general. I don't just hold BTC but some altcoins I think will survive and will be useful in the future. Its the decentralization that makes me believe that finally we can have the currencies not controlled by the few. After learning I can generate more money with crypto, my dream of providing good future for my kids is almost realizing. This motivates me to hold.
