If you live in the usa, you should report all your crypto transactions. I tried to report my crypto purchases this year and last (I do my own taxes) but they didn't care about buying crypto, only selling it for USD. They consider any crypto sales (for fiat) as income, so they want to charge tax on that. I buy more than I sell, but go figure, they don't give you any credit for a "loss" or for buying more than you sell. Do you have any good resources for how the tax rate is structured? I don't have any concrete information on that. As far as I know it's calculated at the same rate as capitol gains, just like if you made money on investments, and received a 1099-INT for that. You can deduct up to $3,000 a year in capital losses as a casual investor. Really? Is that not subject to being over certain percentage of your AGI? Also, I think that has to realized losses, such as buying Google stock for $400, then selling it later for $389. If the stock goes down, but you still own it, the loss has not been realized.

I wouldn't leave negative feedback for this, but I understand why JollyGood does it. BetKing has had shill-accounts before, and shilling for a proven scammer makes you look untrustworthy. I wouldn't leave negative in this case either, but also understand JollyGood's reasons. @JustinBounty, if you feel like this is unjustified, communicate with JollyGood to explain to him why. He may not change his mind, but at the very least you'll give him reason to evaluate his rating. That may convince him to revise his review in the future. Regardless of the community's general consensus, reviews are not moderated. Bringing it up for the community to review is also productive, even if you don't get the results you want right now. JollyGood is within his rights to leave his reviews for whatever reason he feels is justified. However, if the community starts to recognize a pattern of inaccurate reviews, he'll be removed from DT eventually. @JollyGood, I know you've been working hard to keep the community safe from scammers, and that's commendable. I would suggest you exsersise a bit of restraint in situations like this one. Leaving reviews for a suspicion isn't against the rules, but it could create a sense that you are quick to leave inaccurate reviews. That could compromise your position on DT, and therefor minimize the impact of your more accurate reviews.

I took the second one (the smallest), 950 pixels should fit most browsers. ~ See http://loyce.club/other/advertising/sample.html for a test-version. Assuming this is okay, it's scheduled to be online in tomorrow's update of my Trust list viewer. It looks great, thank you.

I'll just post here to confirm that I provided escrow services for a few of ChuckBuck's trades with another member. He's absolutely a pleasure to deal with. Great communication, patient with my sleep schedule, and always polite and courteous.

Verifying the signature (given that his PGP key is not compromised) does protect against these attacks.
Emphasis mine, but this really gets to the crux of the matter. I included redundant links to ThomasV's PGP key because the odds of multiple servers being compromised becomes infinitely small. The act verifying is really just using those redundant and separate sources to confirm the authenticity of the other source.

I watch a decent chunk of most of the briefings though, and when Trump is off script or taking questions, it's just a shit show. I was watching with my mom the other day, and she would roll over in a fit of laughter ever time he said "ChHinA." I prefer the method of diluting blood with a sufficient amount of alcohol (60% is it?). Someone should slip this idea to Trump, maybe he'll make booze free in the next trillion dollar stimulus bill. Stills are the new ventilators!

I think Trump could take all 50 states, I really do. I know it's highly unlikely, but it really wouldn't surprise me. Remember California used to be very much a red state 40 to 50 years ago, and like all pendulums it's only a matter of time before they swing the other way. With Biden being more gaff-prone than ever, the lack of publicity in this unique, unprecedented election year, and with his inability to gain any momentum as a leader during this pandemic, nothing short of Jesus Christ (or Michelle Obama?) as a running mate could help him.
Kamala Harris would be a nail in the coffin, in my opinion. Here on the ground in California, her home state, many people are getting tired of her blatantly partisan nasally voice. If she's tiresome to her own constituents before finishing one term as Senator, how can we expect her to lure voters from other parts of the country. There's really no upside to selecting her, the Democrats are sure they have California (and the whole west coast) in the bag anyway.
Elizabeth Warren wouldn't be much better. I believe America got tired of her fiscally impossible strategies, her base is small, she alienated the Bernie Bros, and again, her home state is very likely a shoe-in for the Democrats anyway. So, yet again very little to no upside.
In all honesty, I don't see any of the primary candidates as likely to help Biden's efforts in any way.
On the other hand, Trump has been front and center for months now, and it's not looking like that'll slow down any time soon. Love him or hate him, agree with his policies or not, he's been working his ass off to mitigate the damage of this pandemic. He has a free spot light, every day, for hours. Even his critics can't help but commend him. His Task Force team is mostly respected and revered, and even Pence is looking like a better leader than Biden.
I had the suspicion that this election would be a landslide for Trump months ago, but now I'm nearly convinced of it.

still awaiting payment. it is approaching a week since your payment was due. April 16th was the due date. I'm sorry for your loss, Hurley27. I supported your flag against YohannHermann.
(...) , though he most likely abbandoned the account . Think so too, especially after that weird PM DireWolf got. In the beginning he looked like a Corona-bored kid seeking for attention and wanting to make some money, without the intent to scam people by its very definiton. To a certain extent I still believe in that, but that said PM speaks different, so I supported the flag and hope you will get your money back @Hurley27. I was giving the OP the benefit of the doubt, and not putting too much stock in the PM I got, but not responding to my post speaks volumes. Now he's been off line for three days, and it's not like getting this account tagged is much of a loss. I'm afraid you're right that he may have abandoned this account. Those of you who are familiar with YohannHermann, keep an eye out for a newbie with similar behavior, we probably haven't seen the last of him.

Okay, so now that I've verified that my files are authetic, I can simply uninstall kleopatra and gpg right?
You can, but I would recommend you keep it installed, you might find more uses for GPG in the future. You can use it sign and encrypt messages or files of your own. I frequently use it to sign addresses for my escrow service. I recently used it to encrypt a message to another member that contained my real name and mailing address (for an auction that I won.) If you're like me and use your main computer to access your cryptocurrency, you'll want to make sure you aren't downloading some other malware that can compromise your security. Other than Electrum, there are many software distributions that use GPG signatures for verification, including any updates to GPG4WIN that you'll want to download. Some software developers will publish a list of the sha256 or MD5 hashes, and sign the list with a PGP key, so you know the hashes are authentic. Here are some popular downloads that use GPG signatures to ensure authenticity: Bitcoin core: https://bitcoincore.org/en/download/Ubuntu: https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/tutorial-how-to-verify-ubuntu#1-overviewTor Project: https://support.torproject.org/tbb/how-to-verify-signature/#BuildVerification

the issues i can think of is if you had a transaction with different types of inputs (eg. for consolidating) and at least one of them were a SegWit input. the old version would fail trying to read the raw unsigned transaction.
Would an example of this be an attempt to import or sweep a segwit private key? Would that only apply to the older versions that allowed you to import private keys into a mnemonic wallet?

You missed the most important implication of this study, that it is an order of magnitude less lethal than projected, by a factor of at least 10 times, making that particular strain only slightly more lethal than the flu. You're right, I missed that implication. 180k deaths world wide, 47k in the US, and I missed the statistical implication that it's "less lethal" than some people projected. Where's my dunce cap? The study might also suggests that the virus is far more contagious than projected.

I'm in the US, so I have a different type of banking system to contend with when it comes to funding my Exchange accounts. Binance.us (US only) and Coinbase Pro are the most affordable and convenient for me right now, because both allow me to fund my accounts with ACH which is free.
I believe Coinbase Pro is available to Canadians, and I know Binance.com (binance's global site) is available to you. The biggest challenge you'll have is funding your exchange accounts affordably, but it's worth looking into. Both charge 0.5% for market or limit orders. Coinbase Pro has free withdrawals, but Binance charges 0.0005BTC to withdraw bitcoin.
I use ACH to fund my account, and due to that they don't allow immediate withdrawals. The restriction could last up to 10 calendar days. This may not be the case for Canadian customers, but I really don't know. Neither accepts PayPal payments, but wire transfers are likely to be available to you.
If you have an IBAN account, Bitstamp might be another good option.

It seems like every week or so we learn something that exposes how little we know. Yesterday I heard a news report about Los Angeles doing antibody testing, which suggests that over 4% of the population has had Covid-19. If the report is accurate it's actually good news, not bad. If true, then it suggests that up to 400k people in LA county have had it, recovered, and are now immune. It also suggests that our "confirmed" cases are under estimated, and perhaps our mitigation efforts are too little too late.
Unfortunately, we don't know what we don't know, and taking risks to learn during this critical time means risking people's lives.

Yo, what just happened, Gronk coming off retirement? No more WWE?! There were some rumors but i didn't believe any of it to be true. That Tampa Bay offense sounds amazing, at least on paper. Interesting to see how it all plays out on the field. To be honest, I found it more surprising that Gronk retired last year. I half expected him to take a year off and then join another team. I suspect there was some personality conflicts between Gronk and Belichick. Now he'll be reunited with his friend and mentor on what appears to be one of the better offenses in the league this year, but it's like you said; "on paper." But I won't be holding my breath for the Bucs. I've seen this too often to really expect anything grand. They're in great position with their offensive line, but with two big names on the offense now, who're likely to side with each other could undermine the authority of the coach. Two of the most successful and experienced players in the league are very likely to gain a lot of influence If everyone one remains professional and keeps their egos out of the mix, they'll have a great season. If not, strong personalities will come to conflict and leave the locker room divided. I can just as easily see the Bucs' offense collapse under it's own weight.
Ooh. Just saw this thread for the first time. Following.
Welcome!
Lamb, Juedy and Ruggs are the three top receivers in this draft and all are projected to go 10-15. Justin Jefferson is relatively sure to get picked somewhere 20-25, with some others like Reagor, Aiyuk, Mims, Higgins not far behind. I hope Lamb is available at #13! He's my favorite at the WR position, and since the 9ers lost Emanuel Sanders I'm a bit concerned. Sanders was a big addition for us last year, and I was quite sad to see him go. The other thing that concerns me; the Niners don't have any picks for rounds 2, 3, and 4. If we don't get one of those top notch receivers, I wouldn't mind seeing us trade down and gain some picks.
