What are the consequences of staying with the old wallet?

This looks like a good POS coin design. Good name. Could use better logo. Is the wallet still staking?

If you didn't periodically cash out to fiat (like the whales do), then it will take a longer time to get back into the market. If you have high values on your sell orders, like I do, you may have to lower them without taking a loss, or a little loss on some coins to free up the bitcoin. What is a high value on a sell order will only be seen in time.

It's a bit hard to understand exactly how this works. I like the coin/team and I've been an early adopter by investing for several months now, but haven't researched how I can mine this. I do both mining and pos wallets. If I download this wallet, how many coins do I have to buy for seeing some kind of weekly gain, and what would that be?
You've been in this for so long but you dont know you cant mine it? I think thats the big lightbulb moment this isnt like other coins. And the only ones that I know arent pos or pow are Byteball and IOTA which have massive marketcaps and actually dont work like Xtrabytes. This is a unique chain, nothing else like it. I used the word "mine" but meant how does this coin grow after I download the wallet? The writing/description isn't very clear, too many technical terms that are somewhat unique to this thread.

I think all these ICO's that had no way to do anything but drop in value are affecting the reputation of the good coins that have been existing for many years. We need to clear the air of them and their hype so regular coins can pick up the value they deserve. I'm not a conspiracy theorist and I think this was well intentioned money but it should have no bearing on the regular coins and new ones that deserve merit and were built from the ground up.

There are so many coins, over 95% of them will be dead and will never EVER have any real usage. I see people shilling shitcoins on twitter, telegram, slack, etc. and all that so they can later dump on people that are new to the crypto and fall for this. It's setting a very bad image for newcomers and taking away money that could be invested in the growth of real coins with potential and future. If you say something or try to warn someone, you are called a troll or FUD spreading because everyone in crypto right now thinks that they will get rich quickly on some coin that will be dead sooner or later.
ICOs... same story, I don't even want to start with this... Why are people so dumb and how to prevent this?
It may be all this new money coming in is "stupid money" -- like the money that came in with the Dotcom bubble, but the cryptomarket before it, like say up to about 3 months ago, was smart money and the market was doing great. The problem is that this stupid money is reflecting on the good coins, and a lack of trust may be building with some people. This is a bad thing. How to stop it? Just stick with the coins that grew from the ground up.

I think most new altcoins which are still using a Qt-wallet (blackcoin version) will be dead. They are just too scammy and without potential real world applications.
These wallets often do POS earnings which are a great way to have an investment grow.

This looks like a decent staking coin with the right kind of reward. Can anyone vouch for it?

Pump and dumps usually don't have working apps with somewhat unique features associated with them.

Does anyone know anything about this pool http://coincave.nl? I am mining there with a small miner and I've mined on over 8 pools but this is the most barebones pool I've ever seen. No support email, no cashout option, just the bare bones. It doesn't say what level will automatically cash me out and since using little hash I can't depend on it getting to a very high level. Is there only one pool mining Scorecoin? If not, please chance the OP.

I love this coin. Excited of the stake every time. It is a surprise every time.
What it ther to love I do not get those stalking principle of coins that has not added value Demand is created only to get more RAIN by stalk and thats it It just good for pump and dump as most of those COPY PASTE github coins Creating money out of intelligence and electricity isn't good enough for you?

I hedged my Bittrex coins on Cryptopia with different coins like Scorecoin and Sakuracoin and others and I'm up 15% on Cryptopia in the last week, while down about 12.5% on Bittrex. Gotta think independently.

Can someone put the POS percentage in a percentage per year?
|
|
|
Just curious, from a tech point of view, how does a programmer increase the POS percentage on their coins? You basically have to recompile everything or are their patches one can put in?

I've downloaded the BitBean wallet and it's taking even longer than RDD to DL the ledger. But it is kinda funky lil wallet. There is an icon in the bottom right saying, you are not staking because you don't have mature coins, so I'm hoping I don't need to use POSW, you'd probably get better returns but I just prefer to do it on my 'puter
Yes, I dl'd it too and it is taking a while. You don't need to use POSW for any staking coin, and I figure they probably take their cut of the stake, so it's probably better to stake on your own. I am also running Hyperstake and Truckcoin on the same machine, with HealtyWormCoin and Condensate on another machine. There are some coins that pay large percentages, and I'm not sure if Bitbean is still competitive or not. I like the way that the price has gone up pretty high at different points. Not all POS coins pay the same Ideally, it's good to find a new one that's cheap and has a good team.

Generally, it's never been a good idea to sell at a loss any altcoin, except the bottom percent that anyone can identify as crap.

This could be your "John D Rockefeller in the Great Depression Buy" move.

If all these new ICOs that are based on it are successful and change part of the paradigm for business and other things, then ETH will skyrocket.
